I purchased my Zen Estilo vxi ( Regn. No. DL3CAZ 1395 ) in August 2007 from Maruti authorized dealer M/s Rohan Motors Ltd., Mathura Road, New Delhi-44 vide Inv. No. VSL07001699 dtd. 10/08/2007. All three free Services were got carried out at same outlet’s workshop. The vehicle’s faulty clutch-set was replaced by them free of cost, under the Warranty.

For the first Paid service, in October’08, I turned to Maruti Service Masters at their G.T. Karnal Road, Delhi-33 workshop ( Invoice no. BRO8001041 dtd. 03/10/2008 ), explaining to them the following specific problems with the vehicle’s performance:

(1). The clutch operation was still rough/noisy and intermittently scratchy.
(2). A throbbing hum was being experienced constantly during the vehicle running.

The response of the service personnel was, to put it mildly, rather amazing and a typically inventive ploy in order to escape responsibility.

RESPONSE
(1). That ‘replacement’ clutch-sets are, in general, prone to produce noises that defy any attempts at their rectification.

(2). That the throbbing hum was probably due to the uneven wearing-off of the tyres due to inaccurate wheel balancing/alignment of the wheels.

Of course my protestations on both the counts as also the fact that the vehicle’s service had remained all through with Maruti’s own Service Network, including the PAID wheel alignment, did not count for much.

Now, I ask whether the company should justifiably expect its unsuspecting customers to put up with such high-end product as a Zen Estilo providing less-than-satisfactory experience? Will some higher-up in Maruti-Suzuki stir to take notice and do their bit required to address the issues pointed out above, if only to live up to the glorious name of the company built so assiduously over past 25 years?

( Note: Tyre Make is MRF-zv2k ).

Incidently, the vehicle’s warranty is valid upto 09/08/2009.

    I am disappointed because your dealer M/s Jai Krishna Auto Sales Private Limited, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) has not delivered Swift Dzire Car within the promised period.


    1. As I have paid an advance amount to him, and he is not delivering a car, its’ a interest loss and during April 2008 Vehicle was priced at Rs.463000 but now it is increased to Rs.491000/, why should I bear increased cost of the vehicle? And there is a news, all cars are going be more costlier from January. Who is responsible for the deficiency and negligence of service
    2. He shouldn’t have promised me a car on[protected] when he couldn’t deliver it.

    3. He doesn’t keep me updated on my status of the car. I always have to call them back and he kept on postponing the date of delivery on every time.

    4. Even though for my place nearby Maruti showroom is at Tiruppur, Due to his promise only I booked the car with Coimbatore dealer. But he has not maintained his promise. This is in breach of trust and breach of our contract and also shows the negligency and deficiency in service and cheating and harassing the customer.

    5. During this December end season, all car companies/dealers are offering huge discount/cash back offers. Mahindra Logans' offer is Rs.60000, Huyndai & Chevrolet Company offering nearly Rs.50000. I lost these opportunities also.

    It seems that the reply and hehavior and the irresponsible attitude shown and expressed by the executives of the show room apprehends me that they have sold my booked car at a premium to others as there is a much demand for Swift Desirs. Inspite of my repeated request till date they have not bothered to resolve the issue nor they have interested to issue any allotment letter or any correspondence from your dealer. 'I TRUSTED MARUTI BUT IT IS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MARUTI…!!!'

    maruti india ltd. maruti swift — after sales service

    sir, i had purchased maruti swift on 31st dec 07 from BRIGHT 4 WHEELS Lucknow (U.P.) but the distributor is not giving me the number of my vehichle after all the formalites have been handed over to him.

    There could be some more undiclosed issues as the complainant seems to be more demanding than resolving.Swift Dzire is a good vehicle with natural waiting of more than 4-5 months but should not stretch to 8 months for petty reasons. Maruti is a system driven company with clear cut communication on tentative date of delivery on all models under allocation. Mr. Senthil Kumar V should sit in front, face to face, to understand and resolve the issue. No need to pull .

    I think you are from Maruti or Jaikrishnaa Autosales, I tolerated nearly 8 months 20 days. There is no undisclosed facts here. I have got records to show you.

    It is very surprise after logging this site you are telling that "MARUTI IS SYSTEM DRIVEN COMPANY"
    STRANGE DONT' JOKE IN THIS SITE. First you search how many complaints posted in this site. Dont defend them.

    For his deficiency service now Sales Manager of Jaikrishnaa Autosales person tlephoned me offered Rs.2000 (Two thousand only) worth accessories as a compensation...!!

    Mr. Kishore From 14.04.2008 till 29.12.2008, I have contacted them over telephone 43 times from mobile phone. Thrice visited personally.

    If you want decisions against these type of dealers and Maruti company before Consumer redressal forum, I will provide you JUdgement copy. Let us know your requirement.

    MARUTI SUZUKI - DZIRE — DELIVERING SCRATCHED NEW CAR

    I HAVE PURCHASED A NEW DZIRE FROM DEWARS GARAGE KOLKATA (C - BEIGE : PETROL) AFTER MAKING FULL ADVANCE DOWNPAYMENT . TO MY HORROR ON INSPECTION I FIND THE CAR IN TOTALLY BAD CONDITION . THE CAR WAS FULL OF DIRT . THE TYRES WERE MUDDY . THE BODY HAD VARIOUS SCRATCH MARKS ON DOORS & BUMPERS( NAIL TYPE) . THE GLASSES ON REAR LIGHTS WERE SCRATCHED . THE OUTER BODY OF THE ENGINE INSIDE HAS RUSTED ALONGWITH SOME PIPES . THE INTERIOR WAS ALL DIRTY (SEATS & OTHER THINGS WERE NOT PLASTIC WRAPPED). WHEN I DENIED TO TAKE DELIVERY OF THIS 2ND HAD TYPE VEHICLE THEY INFORM ME THAT IT IS REGISTERED IN MY NAME & THEY WILL DEDUCT REGN. CHARGES.

    I FEEL LIKE CHEATED & MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE SHOWROOM & ITS STAFF HAS BEEN VERY PAINFULL & APPALING . I HAVE LOST ALL CONFIDENCE IN MARUTI NOW.

    I HOPE THEY REFUND MY FULL MONEY OR CHANGE THE CAR OTHERWISE I HAVE TO GO FOR COURTS & OTHER FORUMS FOR REDRESSAL.
    YES, I also have bad expereince from them.i ever never had such bad experience before in my life.I booked for wagnor duo.so many problems in the car .no water wash, no maintenace for this new car.
    I would not recommend jaikrishnnaa auto coimbatore for anybody.Csutomer service sales are harassing, their attitude are like forcing customers to buy their car.

    Maruti Suzuki Cars — Very criitical car faults

    Sir,

    I bought Maruti VDzire on 10th Oct 2008. since the 1st day itself i am facing so many problems which i told to the dealer during the first 2 free services but they have did nothing about it. When the problems became life threatening i contacted maruti on 22/04/09. But i have been getting just emails from them with no action.Post my complaint to maruti i got a call from the dealer (Pasco in gurgaon) to check what complaints i have. They kept the car with them for 2 days but most of the problems still persist.I again complained Maruti regional office but nothing happened & they said they are reopening the case. Post that nothing has happened. The list of my problems are endless with the 1st being life threatening & i have been saved from accidents 5 times just by God's grace. The problems are :
    1.) While driving the car just shutss off & i loose all controls. The car just stops in the middle of the road. This happens everyday & i just drive in constant fear. This is very dangerous as there is no control on the car inlcuding break as everything is controlled electronically.
    2.) Nagging sound from Dashboard
    3.) Very hard Gears
    4.) While changing gears there is a very loud noise
    5.) The boot lid makes a big noise while closing
    6.) When we use vipers the water come on the driver's side window.

    Would request you to kindly look into the matter & take corrective actions.

    It is unacceptable reception i had received with JAIKRISHNAA maruti dealer in coimbatore on 26th Sep 09. Myself, wife and my kid visited the showroom to enquire and exchange my wagon-R with Swift or Swift Dzire or SX7. No one shown their interest to explain models and no one attended our self even the show room manager. Finally we got fedup exchanged our at ABT with really very good reception and their team is very keen to the customers satisfaction.

    It's shame to Maruti having this type of Dealer in coimbatore

    This is not only my experience with JAIKRISHNAA, the same day there are 3 customers faced the same experience with JAIKRISHNAA and turned to ABT
    It is a fact that the staff and sales manager of the show room shows no respect to the customers, instead they indulge to cheat them by giving false promises regarding allotment of cars at the time of booking.
    I too received a similar type of bitter experience with them.When I approached them to just enquire about 800 Duo, they told me that I should pay some thousands immediately towards booking a particular colour (i-e)BLUE BLAZE, (which was available then)otherwise I could not get the same.So, I handed over my used 800 car in exchange and paid Rs.45000/= immediately on[protected]. Actually, I wished to go for 800 Duo considering the fuel charge which lesser than petrol car.
    Now, they have given the particular colour car to their "dear ones" and now the manager asking me to take another colour or go for Petrol model or I should wait for another 20 days.
    Is it not a mere cheating by giving False Promise to run their business ?
    Who will pay me the interest for the amount I paid to them for all these waiting period?
    More over I have to pay for taxi a huge amount in the absence of my car.
    I seek a suitable compensation from concerned authorities for the loss and inconvenience caused by them.

    For that notice he I have received reply from Ji krishnaa autosales
    advocate.

    I am surprised by his reply it says that, he is not liable and also that reply is just like threatening style. It seems that Administration staff dont have adequate knowledge, careless, all lagy fellows of Coimbatore are recruited here. In their reply he says my cheque was dishonoured due to insufficient funds, and I have issued cheque of kotak mahindra likewise he went on for 4 pages. My cheque was presented through clearing and it was paid also. Even they have not choosen right advocate to defend themselves. This advocate dont know how to scrutinise documents. I am going to file case before consumer forum and also decided to file defamation against this dealer.

    Swift dzire silver colour,petrol version — unable to get car even after 3 months

    I am working as a Professor at gujarat cancer and research institute,Ahmedabad.

    I booked one swift desire model ,pertol version,silver colour car on 19 th Sept .2009.My dealer is Kataria automobiles ,Dariapur Ahmedabad.I made full payment by taking loan of 3 lack Rs. from Bank of patiala as suggested by the daeler.
    He promised to provide car at the last week of December 2009, which i accepted.
    Now I am yet to get car.I visited many times to showroom but person dealing is not sure when car will be made available to me.I am not at all happy with the attitude of the person.
    I request you to provide booked car as early as possible.
    I was not in a mood to make a complaint against anybody but circumstances has forced me to make this complaint.
    Kindly do the needful in this case as early as possible.

    I've booked swift zxi at jaikr auto cbe, they asked me to pay an advance of 50000, I did & they promised to to deliver car within 1month but 5 months gone still they tell some exuses & postpone the delivery I've lost hope & interest on my new swift.
    I have similar experience with maruti ritz vxi that was purchased on 12th feb 2010 from M/S Madhusudan motors, agra.. Within 2 weeks of purchase it had three breakdowns and these were to short circuiting. The battery got discharged due to drainage of this current. The company do not has trained electric engineers who can correctly localize the fault. We have apprehension that it can catch fire any time due to short circuiting.

    Maruti Suzuki/ Ritz Lxi — Dealer Negligence...

    I bought an vehicle from Modren Automobiles (Ambala) on 2 nd march but still not received the documents of the car. They charged me for 3rd year warrenty but not proivde and receipt or booklet for the same.
    i am Surprised that in todays time that type of dealers are still available in the market. typically Govt. office.
    Sales Manager also have no commitment of words. they offer something and at the time of delivery refuse to give complimentey accessories,

    still 16th march not got the documents of the car.
    Zero Customer Value for them and after sales service is pathetic.

    I Purchaged an alto l x i car from your dealer Ms Amit deep Moters Allahabad Uttar Pradesh (code 2901) on 28.10.2010 (.chassis no. is 1741344 and engine no. is 4504505 ) I deposited Rs 299674.00 through Cheque as asked by him but in invoice no.71604 issued by him it is mention clearly that actual cost of car with all taxes and accessories is 277507.75 and also said that my excess deposit balance Rs 22166.25 will be returned soon with in ten days but not till date .
    I send a letter to Amit deep Moters with request to return my balance Rs 22166.25 as per invoice on 8.11.2010 and also to Mr Pankaj Naroola Exicutive officer (service ) to direct to Amit deep Moters for the same but no action is taken by both .
    i request you to take an appropriate action for refunding my balance.

    jai krishna auto private limited — poor customer service

    I feel very bad about Jaikrishna Auto Pvt Ltd, I brought a new Bajaj Discover150 from Jaikrishna by last December. I gave my bike for free service by January(1st), April(2nd), June(3rd) complained that my horn is not functioning properly in three free services. But they didnt serviced it Properly. When I inquired about this I was informed to bring it later for tuning the horn, but I said that this problem is in battery only.
    Still they dint give any response. I was very much frustrated regarding this issue. And I am going to write this complaint to Main Bajaj.

    New Swift Booking and No Delivery Promise
    I have booked a swift petrol Vxi, under my mothers name, she is working in state bank of Mysore, Coimbatore. Myself working with Robert Bosch.
    I had booked the car on 25th Dec, 2011, under the assurance that I'll get delivery in the first week of January. But later the sales rep informed me that he will give me a 2012 swift instead of the old for the same price but on or before 12th Janaury 2012.

    I am now not getting any committed dates for the delivery of the car, whereas I had put a clause that I need the car before 12th of this month. He too assured the same, stating that he will deliver the car before 12th January.

    I had choices of competitor companies (VW, Hyundai, Fiat) as well as other Suzuki dealers(ABT), but I chose your dealership due to the good values your concern has.

    But now I'm terribly disappointed with this kind of response I'm getting.I have to undergo terrible torment and mental tension due to this.

    I working in the automotive field know all kind of supply chain and logistics issues, but would appreciate if your people are honest with me.

    I would appreciate if you would reply to this email and ask your concerned person to call. Please understand this, I am your customer and you are liable to serve me. I am not expecting an favor from you, instead I am expecting good service for the money I am paying you/

    An jaykrishna maruthi salse man came to my home and asked my old car for exchange, the nxt day i went to the showroom and the said me about thr RITZ (vdi). I was impressed by that car's interior and i ask suggestion frm my relatives they said RITZ IS THE BEST so till that i don't hav a plan to buy a car. And I booked ritz silver gray and i'm gonna get delivery of that car next wednesday!! I FEEL HAPPY even their service is good
    I took a WAGON R, before delivery of vehicle I Opted for bumper to bumper Zero Depreciation Insurance Policy to sales representative, and they confirmed to me nearly more than 10 times that the Insurance policy as like my request, after one year on renewal of current policy I came to know that the policy I got was a w wrong one and they are not ready to accept their fault by cheating me by giving a wrong out put from the dealers side, so everyone take care on taking new cars from Jaikrishna Autosales Pvt Ltd, they are very good cheaters, on insurance policies, and Jaikrishna service is bit poor sometimes also...
    and currently the company persons didn't like to admit their fault, and =not ready to give compensation for the cheating they done during delivery of vehicle...
    and the dealer provided a number plate and told that its as like the rules of RTO, and later After six months I got a fine Due to non-RTO Specification of number plates...

    This is the worst service centre in coimbatore.
    I own a shift dezire TN 37 CF 9958, my vehicle got accident before two months and they quated 170, 000. they said apart from insurance i have to pay 20, 000 in approx and finally they make me to pay 42, 000.
    Even the work are very poor, some of the parts they haven't painted just fitted the stock (EX. inner bonnet, engine guard...).
    Fittings are worst, dikki door light sensors are not working.
    I told my vehicle drifted for 200 to 300 mts while getting accident so my rims may be damaged ' but they haven't checked. now i am filling air for my two tyres for every 2 days.
    There is a big comedy in that, i haven't fount a stump guard in my vehicle after repaired. i asked with the service manager, he replied that the stump guard will be fitted only in new vehicles. even my vehicle is 2013 model and in stock guards are available.

    I am working in TATA Coffee Ltd, we have booked a DZIRE LXI + car on 20.08.2016 at M/s.Jaikrishnanaa Auto sales, Coimbatore, and the full payment was made by TATA coffee Ltd against the proforma invoice and purchase order on 24.08.16, Due to the negligence of the staff involved in the sales made a wrong address in the invoice .As the car is buying the company name and the same is clearly mentioned in purchase order the invoice also shuld be raised in the name of company .The mistake was noticed by me and I informed them for getting amended invoice by changing the address .The personals assured me that the address will be corrected and issue the new Invoice with in two days.But when ever after repeated requests the issue is still in pending .It is very disappointing from a Maruti dealer .Kindly note that I have bought two cars from ABT, Pollachi and I was 100% satisfied about their cooperation .I have tried the number [protected] so many times but no body is attending the call .Kindly do a root cause analysis and regularize the issues at the earliest.

      Poor Service

      I had purchased Swift VXI in December 2007 from ABT Maruti, Chennai. I had done all routine maintenance services as per schedule. However, on 1st Aug 2008, when i was travelling from Bangalore to Chennai, my vehicle met with an accident. This was caused due to the sudden failure of the brakes and the locking of the steering wheel because of that. I have still not been given any explanation as to why the brakes failed. The Maruti officials...

      average problem

      i purchased Suzuki access 125 on march 6th 08.It was promised by company(broshure and booklet) and dealer that it will give the average of atleast 50-55 kms/ltr.I purchased it from Gennext autos MP nagar Bhopal
      but even after so many servicings it is still giving the average of 30-35 kms/ltr.
      So it has been and is costing more ....

      Dear Sir
      I would like to bring to your notice that something is seriously wrong with the accessories sale in Maruti Showroom, Magic Auto, Sec-23, Dwarka. I have a puchased a Swift Vxi (DL 9C K 9212) from there last year. Incidentally the same showroom has a sony outlet also from where I purchased a stereo system for my car. 3 months back, I had a problem with the stereo; its FM was not working properly. I went to the showroom and told them about that. What they did was they changed the speaker set and said the problem was there with the speaker and it has been replaced. They played a cd and demonstarted that the problem has been taken care of. When I insisted upon, only then did they play the FM and to everybody's notice, the problem was still persisting. Then they said that problem could be with the antenna, and they asked me to come next week as the new antenna set was not available with them. Next week when I visited them, they changed the antenna, but the problem was still there. Then they took the stereo out of my car and said that they would send it to service centre for FM tuner kit replacement. They made me wait for two weeks to get the kit repleced, and charged me Rs.850/- for that. The new kit started giving the same problem in 2 weeks. When I informed the concerned person in the showroom, Mr. Shyam, he requested me to visit him again, as if I dont have anything else to do, except for doing the rounds of the showroom. I was so very frustrated with all this and particularly with that person, I went to one of the accessories shop in Gurgaon and got that replaced. They took one day to replace it and it is running alright. Last week I happened to be in Dwarka, and I made a visit to the showroom asking me to return me the amount they had charged, which of course they didnt agree to. I have had good interaction with Maruti staffs, as far as the car is concerned, but the sony/accessories outlet there is truly disgusting and calls for immediate review as far the quality of spare parts is concerned, and unnecessarily causing damage to Maruti showrrom's reputation.
      Hope you will take this feedback in good stead, and will ensure that these kind of harassment to the customers dont recur for some small accessories outlets.

      suzuki swift dl — automatic off

      my maruti suzuki swift diesel car is getting switched off its own during gear shift so often causing immense danger during overtaking

      I purchased Maruti Suzuki A Star Vxi on[protected] at RNS motors Bijapur (Karnataka), but the vehicle was not deliverd with cigerrate lighter accessory, when contacted the dealer over phone, answering irresponsibly asking me to contact the concerned sales person. If the way of delivering of new vehicle is like this, what can i expect from the present dealer in future.

        As per the latest advertisement from cosumer court on telivision, saying false costs & discounts of a product with a ' * ' at the bottom is a crime.

        This is an experience i got from Maruti Suzuki. They have placed the advertisement for their product Wagon R-DUO(LPG) in the newspaper Daily news & Analysys(Pune edition) dated December 20, 2008. The ad says "WagonR now @ 2.78 Lakh".
        When i actually visited the showroom Kothari Wheels, Viman Nagar, Pune on Dec 25, 2008 i came to know that exact price of the car is Rs 4, 05, 052/- causing a difference of Rs 1, 27, 052/- between quoted & actual price.
        As per the rules of consumer court, this is a punishable offense. Please look at this issue seriously, as this fools the consumer.

          1. It is intimated that I have purchased a Maruti car (Zen Estilo VXI model) having engine no. 3237387, chassis no. 115089 on 21 Feb 2007 from Prem Motors Pvt Ltd Gwalior and all services are done by the Prem motors in time and car is under extended warranty till 2011. Since 6 months, Many times I have told that center locking is not working properly and technician of Nippon has checked and told that motor assembly is not working properly and that should be replaced, but they are doing oiling, greasing and the problem is still there. I have also complaint to Mr Rahul Gupta (Regional Manager - Indore) regarding this problem many times, but no any positive action has been taken by Prem Motors till date. I am feeling very bad to complaint you.

          2. You are requested to do needful for rectification of above problem and take action against service center. Thanking you.

          I am a College Lecturer. I brought the above car from ABT Maruthi Show room at Guindy, Chennai during March2005, till today the km run is just above 8000(Eight Thousand). Me and my husband use it. My vehicle had problem o[censored]n-Smooth braking problem, ratling inside dash, etc for which we had sent it ti ABT, Guindy during 1st week of March-2009 for which I paid Rs 9, 500/-( Nine Thousand Five Hundred Only), the problem was not rectified, again I spoke to Shri Srinivasan, GM, ABT, Guindy and again it was picked for for service in a couple of days. The problem was not attended to and it persists. Today I again spoke to GM, ABT, Guindy and they arrange to take it once again. hene I request to kindlt advice concerned officials of ABT, Guindy to take care of the problems. We are very disappointed and sad that inspite of spending around Rs 10, 0000/- ( Ten Thousand)towards it, the problems very not rectified, which reflects very bad on the entire Maruthi Services. We hope that you will definately take care of our vehicle brought with our hard earned money. thanks.

            I want to buy a product mention over.I got the price tag from a local dealer in my city (Bhavnagar-Gujarat) is 44, 500Rs. however on the official website of suzukimotorcycle.co.in it is shown only 43, 377Rs. against it.I have complained about it to the dealer but didn't get satisfied answer.I would like to know the exect reason about the pricedifference.Can I get the responce immedietely? othewise i have to look for othe vehicle.

              had purchase a Maruti Wagon R vide invoice number 6002698 dtd. 29/9/2006 with additional cash payment for extended warranty for two years. In the month of January 2008 when I approach Maruti Service master for providing service on account of extended warranty then it was shock to me that there was no extended warranty was updated in Maruti record.

              This is clearly breach of Trust and matter of cheating as per law.

              I booked swift car on 5/1/2009 & on the same date dealer informed that car was not in stoke but delivered you on 7th Jan.09.I apply for loan through dealer. On 7th i get a car without documents only with delvery challan. dealer asked your paper will be released as soon as loan amount recived by co.I saw on the door mirror of the vechicle printed "08". i asked to dealer about model you are giving is 2008 but he asked don't worry we will give you paper on current date. So i write on the dupplicate copy of the deliver Challan" i booked my swift vxi car on 5/1/2009 and delevered on 7/1/2009 but the model offer was 2008 dec. so i am accepting documents under protest" & take the photocopy of the same with reciept of Manager . after when my registration paper complteted i saw a model dec. 2008. Sale letter was issued on 8/1/2009
              Please guide for the procedure

                I behold a last ray of hope which is why I have finally decided to write to you after having begged before all officials of Maruti Suzuki to rectify the faults exhibited by ALTO I gifted to my wife on her birthday. Kindly ponder asymptotically the miseries I and my wife had to suffer by dint of negligence of service personnel of a multinational giant (Maruti Suzuki).

                1. I purchased Alto car for my wife Deepa Chopra from Bagga Link Motors Patparganj Industrial area Delhi on 20/09/2008 (Regd. No. DL7CH 4953). Three days after taking the delivery of the car I found huge vibrations and pulling in the car towards left side. I took the car to Bagga Link Workshop. The mechanic adjusted the steering wheel and did some alignment but all in vain.

                2. The mechanic (Mr. Jitendra) told me that the car was delivered to me without PDI. However, he assured me that the faults would be rectified at the time of first free service. I had no alternative except waiting till first free service. Meanwhile I reported the matter to the Maruti Suzuki regional office through e mail (also to Mr. Raghvan) but no action was taken.

                3. On 12/10/2008 I drove the car to Bagga Link Workshop for first free service and had a horrible experience there. The car was delivered to me in the same condition as before. I penned down my remarks at the job card. The faults viz. pulling and the vibrations are still there which can be verified.

                4. On my perpetual complaints, an engineer Mr. Tikendra inspected the car along with Mr. Vijay of Bagga Link and returned the car back to my wife after deflating and then inflating the tyres. The workshop officials were primarily interested in getting the satisfaction report signed by my wife rather than correcting the faults in the car.

                5. My incessant calls to the regional office and the customer care resulted in a phone call I received from Mr. Siddharth on 08/12/2008. He assured that the car would be repaired to my satisfaction but when ‘Only God knows’.
                Kindly intervene so that I may not be put into further hardship.

                I have bought a Maruti Ritz car from was delivered the car with Registration no MH-02-BM-3138 vide thir bill no 9787 dtd 20th date 2009 on 23rd Aug 2009 Engine No.1257332 and Chassis No.117412 at their Show room at Borivli East Mumbai.
                The car delivered to me had some problem with its Break system or may be some other related systems as was giving prominent sound of some Metal parts rubbing - when breaks are applied.


                I had informed about the same to the sales team of Spectra immediately on the same day of receipt of the car. I was asked to bring the car back to them for verification of the complaint.

                I took the car to the showroom on 27th Aug 2009 when their Mr Prasad along with one Mr Tiwari took the trial of the car with me. On my pointing the problem to them I was explained that the car is ok & this sound is normal ie every car has this sound.

                I had informed about the same to the sales Person Mr Prasad & Ms. Chitra Kale the Chief Customer Care Dept Mob no [protected] of Spectra immediately on the same day of receipt of the car. I was asked to bring the car back to them for verification of the complaint.
                I took the car to their showroom on 27th Aug 2009 when their Mr Prasad along with one Mr Tiwari took the trial of the car with me. On my pointing the problem to them I was explained that the car is ok & this sound is normal ie every car has this sound. On my not being satisfied with the explanation I along with the car was taken to the Works shop to have the same revivified by the expert & one Mr Damodar Mob No [protected] who confirmed that the Car has some problems & took the car for doing the needful.

                I got the car back next day on 28th Aug 2009 evening with the information that the problem was minor and due to some dust & rain water the sound was coming which they have cleaned & its ok now. I took the trial & found some sound still there which was explained to me that is normal one from the boosters. Accepting their explanation and assuming that tits not a major problem I took the car home but to my surprise the same sound again resurfaced which I informed them


                On last Saturday 5th of this month I have taken up the matter with their Works manager Mr Ankush who took the trail with me in the car & was convinced that the problem persist. He promised to look into the same & have it resolved to my satisfaction. I left the car then & there at around 2 PM with them & was delivered the car back on the same day at 8 pm. I was very happy to find the problem solved which I conveyed to all the concerned but my happiness was short lived as the same sound again surfaced. On my again informing about the same this time the response from them was shocking to me the explanation given to me was that they had tried few other new Ritz vehicles & all of them had this sound.
                They now say will refer the matter to Maruti & they will deploy the right Engineers to solve the problem if at all. I feel this is straight a Question mark on your tall claims of Best Car & Best Service.

                Further the car also had few scratched all over the body & when pointed was taken to the Workshop to to the needful that’s why could be delivered to me only in the evening at around 5 PM as against the appointed time of before 12 AM
                From all that stated above it transpires that the car was not pre-checked and or a defective one delivered to me as New Road-Worthy one.

                Your early +Ve response will be appreciated failing which will be forced to proceed in the matter as suitably advised by my Advisers

                New explanations ON 21ST Sept

                The engine knocking sound is normal as its high initially & would disappear when done arnd 2000 km as was evident in the demo car I DROVE TODAY ON 21ST Sept at spectra Borivli which neither had Break sounds nor the excessive engine knocking

                The explanation given to justify their claim that the unusual Break sound is Operational sound is lil extra in this particular my car bcoz each car has different tolerance levels – means yr products r non standard quality

                I was also informed that out of the ten new PDI done Ritz cars they tried for this sound the found 6 of them having the similar sound – so 60% of them r faulty to the extent


                False tall claims:
                Maruti claims best in class
                'Maruti Suzuki customers most satisfied'

                I feel cheated and wrongly influenced with the tall claims of best customer satisfaction & services of maruti ...

                    Subject: Non Response from your dealership on report of Rust damage to new Maruti Swift bought in 2007

                    Dear Sir,

                    This is in reference to the purchase and subsequent damage of Maruti Swift vxi petrol version purchased on DATE 21th Sept 2006 (Invoice # VSLO6000762, Car Registration # HR29Q 9400) from Vipul Motors, Mathura Road, Faridabad

                    I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the car started rusting 6 months back. Initially the rust was confined to small areas of body but gradually it spread to all doors, oil tank lid and other hidden sections of body.

                    This was brought to the notice of dealership at the time of scheduled service –JULY 2008 months back. Dealership grossly neglected the reported issue and did not take required steps to address the problem. This led to further deterioration of the vehicle.

                    Recent re-inspection by the dealership declared it ‘completely rusted’. Dealership estimates that it will cost ~ Rs 40, 000 – Rs 50, 000 to replace doors and oil lid and dealer is demanding me to pay 4.5% of the total cost of replacement. Cost is not the issue, but we are concerned that the rust has spread to almost every other part of the car body and has made it unsafe for driving.

                    We have brought this matter to the attention of General Manager at Vipul Motors, Faridabad number of times and have been making concerted efforts for them to consider replacement of the car (which is only 1.5 years old and was under manufacturer’s warranty when the problem was reported to dealership for the first time in JULY 2008)

                    Our requests have fallen to deaf ears and no action has been taken. Dealership has also not made any efforts to report our problem to Maruti Udyog Ltd

                    Customer service is an important aspect of any business relationship and negligence on your behalf will only hurt Maruti’s brand image in the market place .We will appreciate your consideration and a prompt action on this issue.

                      WE HAVE PURCHASED A MARUTI SWIFT DZIRE TN 09 AY 2066 ON 22ND AUGUST 2008 AFTER WAITING FOR 4 MONTHS FROM KHIVRAJ MOTORS, CHENNAI.

                      WE MET WITH AN ACCIDENT ON 23RD NOVEMBER 2008 AND ACCORDING TO THE RULES OF THE COMPANY, LEFT THE VEHICLE FOR SERVICES ON 25TH OF NOVEMBER 2008. TILL THIS DATE WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY INFORMATION ON THE DAMEGED PARTS WHICH WILL BE REPLACED. SINCE THE VEHICLE IS NEW, WE ARE TO BE GIVEN 100% INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR ALL THE DAMAGED PARTS, BUT HAS BEEN MISLEADING US FOR QUITE SOME TIME.

                      TILL TODAY (23RD DECEMBER 2008) WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY REPLY FROM THE DEARLER OR SERVICE CENTRE. G13BBN1228859 ON 18th MAY 2009 FROM NAVNEET MOTORS, BANSWARA (RAJ) BUT AFTER 3 DAYS OF PURCHASE IT GAVE A STARTING TROUBLE, I CALLED NAVNEET MOTORS BANSWARA, AFTER A ATTAMPT OF ONE & HALF HOURS THEY COULD NOT START THE VEHICLE, THEN THE DRAG THE NEWLY PURCHASED SWIFT DEZIRE BY TOACHAINING THR. ANOTHER VEHICLE THROUGH MAIN MARKET OF BANSWARA ON 22 nd MAY 2009 . I WAS REGULARLY IN CONTACT WITH THEM BUT NO PROPER RESPONCE WAS GIVE TO ME AFTER THREE DAYS THEY INFORMED ME THAT AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE NAMED ECM IS NOT WORKING, THE TOTAL KMS CAR RUN WAS 200KM ONLY .                         I purchased my Zen Estilo ( Regn. No. DL3CAZ 1395 ) in August 2007 from authorised dealers M/s Rohan Motors Limited, Mathura Road, New Delhi-44. All three free servicings were availed at same above outlet. Clutch-set was replaced by Rohan Motors, free of cost (under the terms of Warranty).

                        For 1st Paid service, I approached Maruti Service Masters at their G.T.Karnal Road, Delhi-33 workshop, on 03/10/2008, with following specific complaints:

                        1. The clutch was rough and noisy intermitently, more often during gear shifting.
                        2. A throbbing noise was being experienced, the throb frequency being in direct relation to the vehicle's speed.

                        -#- RESPONSE OF THE SERVICE PERSONNEL -#-

                        1. Pretty nothing can be done to repair the clutch at this stage since a free replacement has already been made ( meaning one has to put up with the annoying noise).
                        2. As regards the throbbing noise, this was due to faulty alignment of the wheels that had caused irreparable damage to the tyres( Make: MRF-Zv2K ).
                        The fact that each of the three free servicings were provided by the authorised dealership and, therefore, any responsibility in regard to the vehicle's performance during this period should rest with the Company did not, of course, weigh with them.

                        NOW, MY QUESTION IS WILL THE CONCERNED HIGHER-UPs IN 'MARUTI SUZUKI' STIR TO TAKE NOTICE AND INITIATE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO DO THE BIT REQUIRED TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES, ABOVE, IF ONLY TO LIVE UP TO THEIR BRAND NAME BUILT OVER '25 YEARS'.
                        I am under same scenario, my clutch was also chaged free of cost & i am going for !st paid servce & experiencing same sysmptoms.


                        It seems that there is same manufacring defect in the a particular lot, i puchased this in october 2007.

                        Please let me know the proceeding in your case.

                          I have bought Maruti Suzuki Sx4 {Bearing Registraion No. HR-01-W-0125} in MAY '07 on its launching from Modern Automobiles, Ambala, by having faith on Maruti as i was earlier using Maruti Esteem Vxi {Bearing Registration No. HR-01-M-2010}.But after one month, i found that there is some problem in car and the average was also coming very poor{8 km pl}.When i got my Car's 1st Service done at Punjab Motors & Engineering Works, Saha, they told me that that the car's Clutch Plate & the Pressure Plates are gone and they have to change them and because of that the vehicle is giving poor performance. So they changed its Clutch Plate and Pressure Plate, but the average of the vehicle remains poor .Then after few days, i found that the Defogger of the Car is also not working . i kept it on for around Half an Hour But no result. Also, the vehicle is throwing huge amount of water from its Exhaust which i also showed in Maruti Service Camp held in Ambala last Summer and they admitted that the vehicle has the problem but didn't got any satisfactory result.And finally just 2 months back, i found that the inner iron rods in the Seats is also coming out which is most Dangerous thing.I got shocked when i saw that because while launching Sx4, the company people claims that this is the most safest car Maruti has ever made. Is this is the Maruti Safest Car? I have complaint regarding the problems coming in this car a couple of times to Maruti, but didn't got any satisfactory result yet. Some 20 days back, some engineers from Maruti{ One was Mr. Kapil Bindal
                          Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.Chandigarh (#[protected])}and inspected my vehicle thoroughly and admitted all the problems that are coming in the car and requested me to give them some time up to 15 Dec, 08 until l which they completely clear this matter. So i gave them that much time. But yesterday on 15 dec'08, i was waiting for there answer as they committed. They didn't approached me, not even called me up..After waiting late in the evening, i called Mr. Kapil Bindal but he didn't picked up my call for so many time and after i tried 5-6 times, he picked up the call and told me that give us some more time, the person who is handling this matter has been gone to attend some Marriage and didn't talked well. I am totally harassed by Maruti & its Services, please help me out...I think i have done a blunder mistake by purchasing The Maruti Sx4..Pl z. help me out...

                          hello sir, im very impresed with your car sx4 therefore i want to purchase this but this is availabe in only petrol sigment where as your hutch back cars like ritz and d'zire is available in diesle sigment too. i can not afford the petrol expenses so i want to urge u that kindly launch the sx4 in diesel sigment too.there are very luxry cars in this category in market like fiesta, lenia, skoda's etcin diesle sigment.but i like only sx4 according to my physic.i hope u will consider my submmission and make this car available in diesle sigment as early as possible. thanking you.
                          I hace SX4 since june 2009, around 9500 km old.
                          few days back iam getting stange rubbing noise from steering at low sppeeds while straightning the car from extreem right position.
                          service people just tried to convince me by greasing the bushings of front jumper and also by finding fault in my driving.This happened thrice.
                          but after my fearce insist the problem was solved.
                          bottom rod of front axle was gettin rubbed with the front brake disk cover, which was not in proper place due to poor maintanace earlier.

                            I had given my Maruti Esteem VXI car (No. WB 20 B 8961) to M/S Mohan Motor Udyog, Kolkata for Servicing and some adjustments in Clutch and Steering, and also ordered for a Polish. I am really shocked that driving comfort has totally vanished. I feel that I am driving a 10 year old Ambassador Car. The Steering got hard, so the clutch. When I contacted the Service Station, I am told that the clutch and steering is working fine, as I am driving the car for the first time.

                              I have bought a new Swift VDI from one of Maruti's dealer in Mohali by the name of Chittosho Motors on 20th Nov 08.At the time of delivery the car was already driven about 9 KMs. I have paid Rs.5.44 lacs (Rs.5.22 lacs approx cost of Vehicle+ Rs.22000.00 as premium paid to the dealer) for the Swift VDI. I was not offered a test drive of the vehicle. When I drive the vehicle and found something unusual in gear lever, as it was moving very sharp in gear no 3. I pointed out this to their representative, he checked and told me it is normal.
                              But I did not get satisfied and I went to another dealer of Maruti, CM Auto Sales in Ropar on 24th Nov. I asked them to check the vehicle if it is alright.Mechanic there at once told me that pressure plate and clutch plates of the vehicles are defective.
                              It was very shocking to know that how a company like Maruti can sell defective vehicles to public. At one hand this car is being sold on some premium and on other hand MAruti is compromising on the quality. It is even more shocking to notice that this vehicle is already driven 9 KM before selling it to me, it was well known to you as well as the dealer about the defect in the Vehicle, still this vehicle was put on sale.
                              The very same day i.e. 24th Nov I went to Chittosho Motors and shown them the vehicle, they put some mechanic to check it, he almost test drive this vehicle for 5-6 KMs and concluded that there is no defect in the vehicle. But later on I spoke to some senior person and he admitted that there is problem with the vehicle as described by the mechanic of CM Auto sales. You will be surprised to know that the person who checked my vehicle at CM Auto Sales, test drive the vehicle with in the workshop and didn't drive it more than 5 meters. It shows that not only Chittosho Motors sold me a defective vehicle but also tried to conceal it.Though Chittosho Motors has now offered me to replace the defected spare parts of the vehicle but I am not interested to do so.

                              It is a fact that Maruti as well as its dealer while selling the CAR to me have knowingly sold the defected vehicle Or else it seems Maruti didn't even bothered to do Checks like PDI etc before putting this vehicle on sale.I would like to re-iterate again that I am not interested in replacement of the defective spare parts but I want refund of full amount including premium paid to dealer.

                              Maruti India / Swift Diesel — Dealer's taking premium on the car

                              i am from nawa shahr and i buy a marti swift in 600000
                              But its rate is 500000 so maruti dealers take 100000for booking
                              to take it soon so so plz think about that sahil

                              Maruti Udyog Limited — Replacement of Battery for Vehicle No. UP 14 AU 9857-SWIFT DZIRE Zxi

                              Please note that my Swift Dzire Zxi , which I had purchased on the 02/02/2009 from Rana Motors ,New Delhi had certain starting problem on the 27th of September 2009, I had to call Maruti on Road Service for help, they Jump Started the Vehicle and I could run it.The next ,morning when I tried to start it; again it did not start.On the 29th Morning I contacted Fasttrack (Authorised Maruti service Station) at Vasundhra Ghaziabad, there technicians took the vehicle post inspection ,and diagnosing a problem with the battery.

                              I was told my the Service Advisor Mr. Shyam Singh, that the batter would be put on charge till evening and then a decision would be taken about the condition of the battery. In case if was found to have a defect beyond rectification , they would help me in getting it replaced, as the battery was still in covered by the warranty.

                              I was in touch with him on that day and in the evening I was told that "Gravity was improper" and we would have to wait till the next day.

                              Today I went to the work shop and met Mr. Jitender (Service Advisor) who told me that the 'Gravity was still not proper' and I will have to call again at 2 PM to know the status.At 3.30PM when I called him , I was told that the Gravity was still improper and the batter requires replacement.

                              I requested them to do the same, however they have expressed there inability to help, and recommended that I should go to the Dealer to get the batter replaced ,if I wish to claim the warranty.

                              I have not yet collected the vehicle from them & it is still with them.

                              I have approached your Customer Care and spoke to a Team manager Mr Ashish , who also expressed his inability to help and suggested that I go to the Dealer only and there was no other solution. I requested him to register a COMPLAINT ,to which he gave me a reference number [protected].

                              My concern is that i should get a replacement of the defective battery at Fasttrack it self, and I should not be required to go to the dealer.

                              Maruti Udyog Ltd. — defected car sold by the Company

                              I purchased Maruti 800 which was having manufacturing defect. But dealer told me that this defect will be removed after some time.
                              But it still persist.

                              Marutiudyog — Premium for swift car

                              Sir, dealers in chennai are asking premium of Rs.25000 and above for giving maruti swift diesel car else await six month time. The dealers have fixed a mediator to approach and collect premium and give no bill or receipt for the premium which is given. My question is whether it is true that marutiudyog has given instruction to collect premium for swift diesel?

                                I have a aquamarine blue 1997 Maruti 800 Dx which was taken for servicing and bonnet painting to Vipul Motors/Faridabad on 06.12.2008. the car was promised for delivery on 08.12.2008 but i asked for it to be made ready for delivery on 09.12.2008. certain items which were noted for check up were to be changed based on my confirmation over phone. the bonnet was to be repainted. i got a call on 06.12.2008 itself that the front discs and brake pads were worn out and required changing. the front wheel bearings also needed to be changed. i gave the service supervisor the go ahead over phone. when i reached the service centre after getting a confirmation that the car was ready for delivery on 09.12.2008, the car seemed to have been given a shoddy job of servicing. the discs apparently never required a change. on checking them with a micrometer screw gauge the thickness was found to be much more than the service limit of 8.0mm thickness. none of the supervisors were aware of this thickness limit and apparently were changing the same at will. some excuse of heat marks on the discs was given but on insisting that the same be shown to me there was no satisfactory answer. The old design white perforated roof lining which was supposed to be changed had been completely messed with and there were creases all over the pasted surface. the painting of the bonnet itself was average but the overspray had damaged all the exterior surface of the front windscreen, the rear screen and the front door windows. the same seem to have been cleaned with some cleaner or thinner leading to a fine fog type of a permanent buildup on the glass leading to a permanent glare at night time. there was some wiring defect in between the battery and the distributor which needed rectification and the same was indicated at the time of booking the vehicle. at the time of delivery seeing the condition of the car i raised a ruckus and put my foot down. the service incharge tried to pacify me and arranged for some rectification of the roof lining. as for the discs he confirmed after seeing the old ones that they needed replacement but was shaky when i told him that i was sending one of the discs to maruti along with my complaint. he later offered to change and install the older discs but i refused. some rubbing of the bonnet was also done to reduce the uneven paint surface. some attention was given to the wiring but not enough and the car shut down in the middle of mathura road 3 kms from the service centre after delivery. the car is sitting outside my gate right now and i dont know whether to laugh or cry. it may be another car for maruti suzuki and their dealers, but for me it is my car, the one which we purchased after pooling in our last paisa of savings, in which our daughter came home from hospital the first time after delivery. after more than eleven years and one lac km on the odometer, seeing the condition to which it has been brought in this single service leaves me speechless. i really dont know whom to approach...maruti do not display any complaint/suggestion link for old customers, the setup at the dealer is too insensitive and incapable to understand my finer requests. do i need to go to a consumer forum court... i really dont know. my aim is not to get damages but to get an honest job on my car and defects unattended or mishandled to be reasonable rectified. i honestly dont know what can be done about the front and rear wind screens and the front window glasses.

                                  ALSO. WHEN I TOOK THE CAR IN SERVICE CENTER THEY WERE NOT PROPERLY
                                  WASH MY CAR . I WAS TOTLY SHOCKED .THIS SERVICE CENTER IS FILL OF
                                  MANY LAZY PERSON & ALSO LAZY MANAGER . NOW I WANT FASTLY ACTION
                                  AGAINST THE DEALERSHIP OTHERWISE I TAKE HARD ACTION KTL AND UR OMPANY
                                  ALSO . I WOULD SINCERELY REQUEST YOU TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST
                                  CONCERNED PERSON & KINDLY DO NEEDFULL. . . I WANT THIS MATTER CAN BE

                                  I completely agree with you sir. I also experienced the servce of Jagmohan Motors and it really sucks.

                                  NOw I want to get CNG fitted inside my car from an authorised dealer and now i dont want to get it installed from jagmohan motors. when my problem relating to my new wagon r wwasn't solved, i did a complaint on maruti's toll free number, only then sm action was taken bt was of no use. But I advise you to do a complaint on maruti's toll free number and they will sort your problem out and will refer you to any other maruti dealer as they did in my case.

                                  jagmohan motors ltd. — refusal from servicing

                                  Dear Sir.
                                  As i purchased my ALTO from M/S Jagmohan motors last year on dated 29/3/11, and today i reached service station at 10 am for servicing after compilation of 15000 km, but on duty supervisor refused to attend .according to him TODAYS LOAD FULL .pl. come to another day or come to pre- appointment only.i think this is the worst experience which i faced second time.
                                  can you pl.advised or help me out or to select jagmohan motors we did mistake?????
                                  I totally agree that Jagmohan Motors technical staff is not skilled, after every service i have to go again 2-3 times related to same problem. and the MAIN PONIT : Misbehavior and arrogant attitude, they think every time customer have to compromise. They don't know how to talk and handle an customers.

                                  - If you are not happy with car service and given Negative feedback, No Escalation process, the case was went to same person who handle it previously. So, you can think, what will be happen. Same Problem remain same.

                                  NOTE : SONEPAT Branch technical staff and Technical Manger are just completing working hours... Not doing their JOB.
                                  I have ALTO K10. Yesterday, i got my car axle changed from Jagmohan Motors, Sonipat. They did not work properly. It has a minor space between tyre and car body. I have been going there 3-4 times but they are not able to find from where the sound comes from my car.

                                    my wagon r had some wobling sound from the front left tyre. i went to greenland motors, which i thought of being a good service centre, and the engg there were unable to identify the fault. The person who took the test ride told the i need to get left shocker changed. Job sheet was prepared and shocker changed was mentioned.Later the person who worked on my car confirmed that the shocker is perfect. He reffered the case to one of the sr supervisor, Rajesh. Rajesh checked the shocker (he did not test drived my car) and said that the shocker needs to be changed. Thus the shocker was changed for approx 1300/-.
                                    The next day the simlar sound again was heard. I went to see the service center incahrge Mr Bhushan, and he also confirmed that the problem is not of the shocker. Again he reffered the case to Rajesh, who retierated that shocker was faulty. I had referred my case to other maruti service centre which confirmed that the shocker has been unecessarily changed.
                                    Pls pass this complaint to Maruti udyog and that i am going to lodge a complaint jn consumer court against them about the fradulent activities they are indulging in and cheating the customers.
