        I took this policy on 25th April 2022 and after some research and speaking to my relatives, I realised it would not be beneficial to my goals. I requested a cancellation of the policy on 27th April 2022 but have not been given a concrete response about when I will receive the refund of my payment. I am within the freelook period but MaxLife is giving excuses and stalling by passing the query from one person to another.

        If I don't receive a refund by 9th May 2022, I will be forwarding my complaint to IRDA. I believe it is against the law to withhold the customer's funds and not issue a refund when we're within the grace period. This does not speak of accountability, integrity or good customer service.

        Perhaps the IRDA should conduct frequent audits to check whether these insurance companies are actually issuing refunds/claims as they state or if these are all marketing gimmicks. If a customer doesn't pay the premium by the due date, then the insurance provider can say that the policy has lapsed and wash their hands off the matter. When a financial company does not return the customer's money in time, then should they not be held responsible and made to pay interest for the number of days they have withheld our own funds?

        I have already forwarded the emails and WhatsApp chats to the escalation team of MaxLife and will be sending these to the IRDA too by 9th May 2022 if I do not receive the refund so I will not be attaching these here.

        MaxLife's idea of support is to stall and make frivolous excuses instead of resolving the query. I've still not received a refund. I will be forwarding ny complaint to the IRDA. How difficult is it to issue a refund???? From 27th April, I have been requesting a cancellation and refund. Even the Grievance Redressal team is useless. Do not expect any kind of customer service from MaxLife. Their service stops once they take your money.

        MaxLife = FRAUDS. UNTRUSTWORTHY. UNRELIABLE.

            I was holding Maxlife policy and I have stopped renewing after initial payment. after that I got calls from different numbers saying from GBIC and convinced me to take another third party policy to get the premium I have paid for Maxlife policy.             Fraud call claiming to credit policy commission to my account

            I got a call today from Max Life Insurance and he said that company is about to release commission to my agent and this commission can be credited to my account as well. For this I have to create an investment policy in Max Life for 31, 350/- which I can cancel after 90 days.
            I was suspicious and aksed some queries and they answered them all. And they also had my policy number, due date, mobile number, dob etc. So I started believing...

            Dear sir,
            I am paying around 52000 per year premium. and around 5 installments have been paid. 260000Rs have been paid. and now I am checking that surrender value is showing not more than 171000Rs only.
            That means I am loosing around 90000Rs Flat.
            And there is no information about value deduction/reduction from company.

                  With the policy number as mentioned above.
                  In the Policy pack I can show manual entries and fake sign of policy holder besides that request you to either cancel policy or correct it from Max life.
                  Problem were mailed already to service.[protected]@maxlifeinsurance.com but not satisfactory and proper resolution received from Max life.
                  Even after communicating problem with the Max life survice advisor vaishali Sharma she just wasted time to say will talk your problem with superiors and get back to you.
                  Now got to know that my Policy freelook up time 15 days is over and can't cancel policy even with not rectifying issue.
                  Request to take action against one who did manual entries and done fake sign of policy holder in the policy pack.

                  0 rating to the support I got from the Max life support team. Rather than solving issue of manual entries and fake sign of policy holder in the policy pack Max life sent me a freelook up cancellation form for policy cancellation.
                  When got a call from Max life insurance regarding the issue to be solved or you want to cancel the policy.
                  As I clearly said that if policy pack issue could not be solved by Max life insurance even if it's whole and sole mistake of Max life then cancel my policy.
                  Next of communication I received mail to cancel policy by sending cancellation form on mail.

                  I would have choosen to cancel the policy but Max life will reduce 2000/-rupees for the cancellation in the name of stamp duty.

                  If the mistake in the policy pack is becouse of Max life life then why should I cancel and get less amount than paid for the policy.

                  Every one will like to have term plan to secure a family in our absence.
                  The support I got in my existence is worst what will happen in our absence.

                  Think before buying Max life insurance term plan.

                    In 2019, my father took an insurance policy with me as a insured with the premium of 1 lakh per year for 16year policy. Policy was taken on 05.october.2019

                    On 16th December he passed away. After his death we have been facing financial problems. In 2020 1lakh premium was automatically deducted from our account after which we talked to the agents at Max life office, Rajpur Road Dehradun. They told us to wait for the time to complete in 2021 to claim the small amount of money money that we get back from canceling the policy. In 2020 we were not informed about the change of ownership was needed. In 2021, we didn't pay the premium because we don't have enough money in the bank to pay for premium and take care of my family at once. In 2021 when I went to claim the amount of cancelation. Then I'm being informed to change the ownership and I have to pay the premium for 2021 as well. I will not pay anything, anymore because I want to cancel the policy. Kindly let me know what can be done. I need a proper solution as soon as possible. Please help. Why should I pay because your employees didn't inform us properly.

                      Hello Team,

                      I would like to inform you regarding my experience wrt policy
                      [protected]. I submitted my proposal form with all documents with an
                      amount of Rs 3649/Month on 21st March. and I was assured that the
                      policy will be issued in 7 working days.
                      On 2nd April i was informed that a new offer has been generated wrt to
                      my BMI being high with increment of Rs 900/Month and i informed the
                      Max life representative Himani Kakkar regarding the same and after
                      waiting they told me that this is non negotiable then i told them to
                      reject the offer and cancel my proposal but instead they paid Rs 950
                      from their end and continued my policy.

                      This kind of behavior is unacceptable hence i have submitted a complaint. i am still waiting on my policy to get cancelled and get my full refund back.

                        i do have all the proof and same has been shared with them, but then also they are sending email that they are waiting for the documents .

                              I have opted for one of the Smart Secure Life Insurance Plan. I have already paid the premium on the 5th of March 2022. I bought the policy from Phonepe app, the status showed under progress till 13th of March 2022 and ended up getting declined on the 14th.
                              I was told customer executives will contact me but they did not. I don't want to open insurance with this company. I just want my refund back. Please do it ASAP.

                                Spam call claiming Insurance agent falsely claiming bonus amount

                                I got a call from a prem who claimed himself as Max Life agent claiming to be from the fund cancellation department saying that my insurance agent is claiming commission although i have made online payments on my own and he has got a signature from me at the time of enacting the policy that he can claim all my bonus amount. The number from which he called is [protected] and he has all the details such as my policy number, the annual due amount...
