Hi Team,

During the policy Max Life Smart Wealth - Long Term Plan application form processing, I have paid policy premium an amount of 300, 000/- on 11th July but the policy application was not yet completed but on the same day I have requested them to cancel the policy after they received the payment and refund the amount due to personal commitments. They said money should be in a sundry account until the policy number gets generated.
I was contacted agent Laxmi (code 791097 ) from one of the Sai maha parayan group and she said that for the policy cancellation, once application is fully completed and generates the policy number[protected] then only cancel the policy and hide the many crucial free look period terms from me.

When I called for the cancellation, she misbehaved with me rudely on whatsapp. After generating the policy, I again reminded them to cancel the policy and refund the payment on 3rd Aug. Max life agent Laxmi has not yet informed about the free look period and when we asked them about the cancellation, they said on 3rd august, refund is in process and try to settle as soon as possible.
We kept chasing agent's line manager Ketan about this on 7th August but he didn't respond. On 11th Aug, Ketan's line manager Mahesh Chaudhary called me on whatsapp and had a discussion about the cancellation policy, he also hid the free look period terms from me. He requested to confirm the policy within two days time whether keeping or cancelling. After a couple of hours, I sent him a message on whatsapp to cancel the policy and refund the amount. He did not inform us about the free look period terms and conditions to us as well.
They informed us we can't cancel the policy because of the free look period over which we were not aware when the free look period ended.

But during the free look period, keep on asking three of them for the cancellation and I have proof on whatsapp chat. On 11th august we informed Laxmi's 2nd level manager Mahesh for the cancellation but they didn't take any action for the cancellation.
I think it is very very unfair and I am putting it here as my final resort and hope to get my hard earned money back. For 3 months they keep on postponing and prolonging the matter. None of the max life staff members were didn't informed about the free look period for the cancellation.
Covid and many things severely affected my finances.
From day one I keep asking for the cancellation and refund the payment. Without any of our written confirmation they have forwarded data to head office.

Now they are saying I have two options whether to continue the policy and pay for the next 10 year or pay for the next two years and cancel after the 3rd year payment which is not affordable for me in this current situation.

Please look into this matter and resolve the issue at the earliest. I have attached screen shots from the agent/manager communication via whatsapp.

    I received a call a few days back from Max Life customer center regarding review of my policy and they asked me if someone is giving you an update on your policy and all that stuff. I said no and requested a call back from my executive so that I can get the update of my policy.
    Then someone called again from maxlife customer center and said you have paid this much amount and this is the fund value which is very less then the original and said I asked why is it so so she said because this is agent specific policy and all the profit is going into agent account instead of coming back to you.
    And as per a normal human being i said ok now how can i remove the agent she said i will raise the complaint to IRDA and they will help you out with this.
    So I received this call from someone called NITIN AGGARAWAL [protected] from GBIC.
    Now the question is how does this person know every detail about me and my policy?
    And if you guys know about these calls why you are not doing anything about it as i can see there are a lot of people who are receiving such calls.

    How can they get my every details from premium paid to fund balance policy no. and everything else if there is some data leak why there is no notification from your side if not then there are people in your firm doing this?

      I m policy holder of your company my policy number[protected]. First payment pay to you on 26 apr 2021 as per policy amount of rs.1536.83 deduct from my credit card (auto) which is done every month. Today i received one LETTER from your company with attached one cheque of amount 3073.66 and above on the letter it is mentioned that due to non-disclosure as per terms and conditions. disclosure what is mean by as i am paying my policy amount every month from apr till date with auto deduction activate in my cc.all document received from you after verification via post and your executive come in the same month personally to inquire about the policy holder. and still without any intimation or any email you have terminate my policy.
      need clarification on this and how it happens from u people it is really a shock for me that without any reason you terminate my policy.

      totally rubbish false statement from the company after getting payment for six month (from apr till sept) now they suddenly terminate the policy and reason they are saying that in verification they found me i am undergraduate

      i got other letter from the company mentioned of policy termination but no proof provide so far on what reason they terminate my policy i need all document in physical format of the verification done by the company

        I received a call regarding max life insurance policies. The caller said, that the agent who sold me the insurance is claiming to be my relative and claiming benefits from the insurance policy worth 30% of policy cost. However i could only get the refund if i buy another policy from them.

          Sir, I V.Bala Johar worked in Max Life company from 03.12.2013 to 25.08.2015 with UAN:[protected]. After resignation I did not claim my PF benefits. Now I want to withdraw my PF benefits. In this process I sent my claim Form-19 alongwith required documents for final settlement to Max Life Insurance in August-2021. No settlement was done till date. No response from HR even though several mails sent.

              Another call was received from Ms. Priyanka Malhotara (employee Code : 389297 call from Delhi)today ie. 05/10/21.Her contact number was [protected] (mail id was [protected]@maxlifeinsurance.com)
              She introduced herself as Service Manager.She sits in Delhi.

              She said that 30% commission & bonus has been claimed by your policy agent(she has file pending with her) & if I don't want to transfer the said sum to agents account then I have to transfer 36, 000/- (one year's premium) to Max life company's account or it will be auto debited from my account so that commission and bonuses due can be transferred to our account.

              She was also aware of a fake call received from Mr.Roopal Singh(employee code 127195) earlier against which I have raised a Complaint.

              All the calls are received on my registered mobile no ([protected])

                  Policy no[protected]I have been paying my premiums for SA of 50 lacs with ADB of equivalent SA, but since July my policy has been lapsed by the company and they are asking me to pay 18000 INR for revival of my policy with SA of 75 lacs..

                  I had earlier applied for 75 lacs SA but later on through mail have requested them to reduce the SA to 50 lacs..They did so accordingly and also sent me a confirmation letter for the same..But one mistake which they made was the policy no was not changed..So this undue harassment is being meted out to me..All my mails have gone unanswered with no resolution..Only system generated mails and sms that they are working on it for last 3 months since July'21..Please help ASAP

                        Dear Sir,

                        I got phone call from Mr. Roopal Singh([protected]) claiming that he is from Max life's regional office & he has my file for Loyalty bonus( paid once in 3 yrs )which has been claimed by Policy Bazar's agent.
                        He logged my complain with GBIC & also shared the no. so as to create my Self code & removing agent's code so that bonus and other benefits can be released to my account.
                        He also asked me to provide letter mentioning willingness to change Agent code and send the same on Watsp no of Ravi Kapoor([protected]).He also told he is working with max life since 6 yrs.
                        Further he said I will receive call from GBIC within 24 hrs & they will explain me the process of deleting Agent's code and will generate my self code as Policy Bazar's agent is claiming my bonus amount.

                        Also he had all the information regarding my policy.

                          Hi, I have been trying to followup with MaxLife for the last 2-3 months. All my requests are not addressed. Sending them emails is a waste of time as there is poor communication between their executives. inspite of repeated telling them that I am out of India and cannot be reached on my Indian number they keep on calling my Indian number inspite of sending my international number in email. My Relationship Manager and Speed dial partner dont respond. The response i get on email doesnt even consider the text I have written in the email. If I call their customer care center they dont give me any details saying i am not calling from my registered number.
                          Their online system doesnt work as expected. Like I am unable to update the NEFT details and they sent me a form to do so and when I answered that I dont have a printer they just ignored that message and sent the same message again. I am tired and want to close this policy to which they say I have to visit their branch and there is no other way. In this pandemic where I cant visit India how can i visit their branch?

                          Hi, I got several emails from Max Life but they did not cover any of my problems and that is not new to me as I have seen this in the past. I am tired of sending the same communication again and again and I can also see there is a lack of communication between your teams internally. I want my bonus deposited to my account and my policy closed.

                            I have complain against Max Life insurance regarding one of the agent is giving false information and selling the policy. Agent has confirmed me that we are providing the services in your city i.e (Rohtak) 124001.and after that i got a call from max medical team they have scheduled a medical appointment through SAI DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE-ROHTAK on 11/09/2021. After all medical test done, On 12/09/2021 i got a call that we are not providing the services in your city. Please provide the alernate address otherwise we are cancelling the policy.

                            So my question is if you are not providing the services in my city then why did you get my medical test done.

                              Hello Team,

                              I am valued customer to your company. I raised the cancellation of auto debit query (ECS mandate) from my card but there was no response. My premium is 50000 per year and policy number[protected]. Could you please cancel auto debit so that I can pay through other means

                                Please provide valid assistance.My policy no is[protected] I received various calls from max life insurance head office, one from Rahul Mahajan today. They said that I have some bonus which haven’t been claimed by my side. To remove my inactive agent from my policy I have to deposit some money . In order to obtain unclaimed bonus, what should I do? Pl help.

                                  I paid the premium and took one of your policy by paying 9422rs approximately, when I understood the policy terms correctly after receiving the policy pack I requested for a refund as the agent hid many crucial terms from me and sold me the policy and on too of it, I was denied the refund I have tried to connect multiple times but this organisation didn’t provide what they promised plus due to covid my 9422 rupees is still with them for almost 2 years now. I think its very very unfair and I am putting it here as my final resort amd hope to get my hard earned money back. Covid and many things have severely effected my finances and I am living life with just one meal a day. My 9422rs won’t save my life but I was cheated and I have decided to kill my self soon and leave this as an unresolved complaint. I don’t blame my death or anything else on this company but I am a good person and being cheated has added to my mental depression extremely. Thank you! MaxUnLifed me

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    The subject mentioned policy has cancelled under freelook cancellation however premium amount of 25, 000 has deducted from my bank account even after freelook cancellation. Request you to refund the premium paid (25, 000 Rupees) as soon as possible.

                                    Maxlife has confirmed that they received the amount and I have shared the bank account details (cancelled cheque copy) however till now the payment is not credited to my account.

                                    Kindly do the needful on urgent basis.
