Respected All,
I bought two insurance investment plans of Max life insurance co ltd vide policy no's:[protected],[protected]. The company never delivered the original policy bonds of these policies till date. Even the agent has done mis-selling and unfair business practices in these policies. I have all the evidences in documentary form with me. I have asked the company to cancel my policies under the free look period option of 15 days as the company failed to deliver the policy bonds. Even the company has already admitted over the email that they do not have any delivery proof available with them . Now they are befooling me and are not ready to cancel these policies under free look period of 15 days.
If the company continues to ignore my concern then I shall highlight and justify all the unfair and unethical practices used with me.

Dear All,
We are in regular touch with the customer care team of Max Life insurance. They are totally inclined towards the agent with whom I never met. The company is not ready to cancel my policies under free look period option of 15 days. Rather they are delaying the time and trying to suppress this matter. They are insisting me to meet and discuss on the subject again and again.
I have asked them to cancel my policies under free look period as I m going ahead with this option only. If the company refuses to cancel under free look period then I shall justify the mis-selling allegations in these policies and I shall justify with the supporting evidences in that case. The customer care team has set a precondition to compulsory meet with the concerned office head and then they will decide in free look cancellation.
Why the company is not ready to take a stand as per the available material facts of non delivery of policy packs till date?? As per the available evidences, I do have a clear free look period option of 15 days which can not be neglected and declined in the eye of law. If I am going ahead with my free look period option then why the company is insisting for face to face meeting with the concerned branch office head. I shall be happy to meet with that office head if the company declines my request in free look period.
In that case, I shall justify mis-selling with the documentary evidences and shall be glad to meet these people.
I am travelling overseas on a business your right now and shall remain engaged for quite some time.
This is unethical and unfair behaviour shown by Max life insurance because they are not adhering to regulations set by IRDAI for the policyholders interests. I am passing through excessive mental agony due to Max Life Insurance.

    With reference to the above captioned subject and max life insurance letter dated 29th june, 2013. The diseased mr. Kavuluri suribabu had submitted proposal i. E. Policy vide no.[protected] by himself and consciously did answer the questions referred in your letter as” no”.
    The reason mentioned in max life insurance letter for declined the claim was, that mr. Kavuluri suribabu was suffering from hiv and he undergone treatment in eluru government hospital as per the case sheet dated 13th march, 2013 prior to signing the proposal form. To reiterate and contemnating the reason mentioned by max life insurance.
    However, i been to eluru government hospital and verified the inpatient register as the particulars given in max life insurance letter, government hospital dated 13th march 2013 with diseased name.
    During my verification, i could not find any details of my husband (Named mr. Kavuluri suribabu) had underdone any treatment under any circumstances. Whereas, i could found the similar named patient had been undergone treatment, named as koppi setti suri babu, male 45 old on 13th march, 2013. When i clime my husbands death claim some body came for investigation and demanding me some amount to do the claim settlement, but told them i don't have money right now after settle the claim i will give money. That's why they obtaned koppi setti suri babu`s case sheet from ealuru government hospital and edited that case sheet name and address as kavuluri suribabu.
    The clarifications and the proof of the documentary evidence were obtained and submitting for your consideration as below;
    I) the case sheet dated 13th march 2013 mentioned ip 5078/mm/m
    Ii) the name of the patient is koppi setti suri babu male 45.
    Iii) address of the patient; somavarapu peta, near ramalayam, eluru.
    Now, i would like to request your esteem organization to settle the claim at the earliest as the declined claim reasons not in line with the deseed mr. Kavuluri suribabu as per the above clarification and evidence soured by me. My mail id is santhi. [protected]@gmail.com

      Dear max life management team,

      With a great hope as a youngster i started this policy in 2013. I paid 12000 and some odd figure every year. I know it's a small amount but that was my kick start to saving in life.
      After 2 years i wanted to close this policy due to some personal reason i was in need of money then i was been told that i can only have this closed once i complete 3 years. Which i understood the terms and conditions and waited for 1 more year. Now this year when i went to close the policy without knowing the fact that some worst phase of the policy is still to be face and that was instead of getting 36600 which i spend in 3 years m only getting 50% of it. I said wow this was a nice business trick from your side. Person in need goes to a temple and his sandal is stolen. Nothing can be worse than this isn't it. I had no option as ms fatima who helped me in opening an account gave all fake promises. Fatima is not an agent she works with your bank in margao goa office. I was fooled but you can definitely guard your self by saying that "sir everything is mentioned in terms and condition."
      After few days i went to close finally then i was told i have to get my id cancelled cheque bank pass book and what not wish this could have been informed me earlier when i came to enquire anyways i was in need so again travelled 20 kms back to home to get documents. Wish you had empathy on clients.
      I am sorry if my words were harsh but i hope you understand.
      This is leaving a very bad impact on a customer trust me. And you know complaints now spreads like fire and how will it impact on your business. Looking for a positive response from your end.

        Chennel partner of max life insurance poicy, which is axis bank ltd.( peth road br. Nashik ) are false selling their policy to customer. At the time of selling policy they are showing 4-5 years old pemplet & by providing wrong information to customer they are selling their policy. When i compalint to max life insurance about this, then they said it is not under freedays so we cannot cancel it. Whereas it is under freedays.

          Sir, i am having one max life policy[protected]Max life life gain plus 20 participating plan) from dated 12-feb-2013.
          Till date i have paid four (4) premium.
          My complain is :-
          (1) salesman told me that i need to pay only three consecutive years.
          (2) salesman told that policy is medical insurance policy.
          (3) salesman told that i can break policy any time after completion of three years and i will get more than i paid.
          (4) salesman told that on completion of policy period of 20 years i will get definitely more than 2 lacs as he showed me by some calculations.
          (5) salesman told that when i will receive confirmation telephonic call from max insurance office then i has to only confirm and all the things he will adjust, means do not object for anything. And same has been done by me.
          Today i have made call to max life insurance customer care on toll free number1800 - 200 – 5577 and customer care executive replies as under :-
          (1) i has to pay at least six years, other wise my policy will lapse and in that case i will get back only about 30% of my paid premium amount till that year.
          (2) my policy is general policy and not medical insurance policy.
          (3) if i breaks my policy before completion period then i will get only about 30% as already discussed.
          (4) on completion of period on year 12-feb-2033, i will get total only about 1.10 lacs inr, while i will pay around 90 thousand up to feb-2018. Means totally no benefit of interest rate.
          Sir, i am requesting to take my issue on priority as case of fraud in salesmanship and false promises. Salesman also misguide me when i need and confirm from policy office.
          I accept that i do not approach up to four years for correct information, because i was having faith over them and their promises. They came in to reliance power plant -rosa shahjehanpur with axis bank representative and did this type things. It is ok that we should be awaken, but there should be faith in business.

            Hi,

            I paid the premium policy of 98500 pa for 3 years and now i am unable to continue with the policy due to financial reasons. My policy has lapsed now and i have not paid the premium since from last two years. Now i wanted to surrender the policy and would like to know the surrender value. Please tell me know the exact number instead of throwing some mathematics formulas and asking us to find the amount?

            I see that for every time when we contact the customer care to know the surrender value, the amount is changing. Last year i was told different numbers like 160, 475.02, 37, 682.33 etc..

              Hi,
              This is gunjan. This complaint is for max life insurance delhi, few days back i was eating my premium online but due to some technical issue payment dint go through, but i tried again and i was able to made the payment. I think its been 7 days. I got the call that from mli that "looks like you need assistance" i said no the issue has been soughed out, but i think they cannot understand now from last 7 days after every 2 hrs they are calling me again and again for assistance which i just not required, unprofessional staff, very rude behaviour i am keep telling everyone that stop calling but no one is ready to understand. They are harassing me with this calls now.

                    My name is ayush baheti i bought an policy from axis bank channel of max life insurance of 15000-/ premium on june 2014. At that moment i was employed after that i lost my job when my 2015 premium was pending i got a call from a representative from axis bank regarding the premium to be paid. I told him at i would be unable to pay your premium because i'm jobless and there were no fund in my balance.
                    And one day suddenly on 28 march 2016 my account got debited with the premium amount without any intimation.

                    Though i gave the standing instruction to bank but there should be an intimation. The fund in my account was of third party. Now i am jobless don't have money and you deducted my balance...My mistake here is that when the representative has called me i should get in a written statement.
                    I thought the policy got lapse because i have not paid my last year premium and i need not pay anything now..

                    I blame here everything to your service representatives i have been miscommunicated, misinformed. At the time of policy purchase he/she should tell me everything about the terms and condition.

                    Now i'am stuck here...What should i do now...I'm asking for my own money..The day it got debited the day itself i raised a complaint to max life and axis bank...They say i cannot get my money back...Why should i

                    Why should a consumer cannot get his own money back when he got cheated and does not use your services...

                    Please help me.

                      This is regarding my policy number[protected] that I hold with Maxlife.

                      On January 7th 2016, I received 2 calls from the mobile number - [protected] and on January 8th 2016, I received 5 calls from the same mobile number, from one Ms Riya Khanna, stating she is from Max Life Insurance.

                      She told me that my Policy due date was in March but that if I paid on 8th of Jan, I would get a 10% discount on the policy amount and I would need to pay only Rs. 100000. She said she would send me the NEFT details to which I would need to make the transfer.

                      Riya Khanna also sent me an email from a registered max life email Id of hers with links to the website etc.

                      However, I did not get the NEFT details from her. So I looked up the internet and from maxlife website (http://www.maxlifeinsurance.com) - I made the payment through NEFT to the following details:

                      Ms. Riya Khanna called me again from the same number above, after I made the transfer and asked me whether I made and to which account. When I mentioned that I transferred to the NEFT details from the website, she cut the call and never called back.

                      On 20th Jan 2016 I received a letter from Max Life as attached, saying that there is an excess amount of Rs. 90000 against my policy.

                      Hence when I made a call to max life's customer care, Mr. Deepak Hiteshi verified that Rs. 90000 has been received and is yet unallocated. He also mentioned that there is no 10% discount as per Max Life policies, and I will have to pay the balance of Rs. 10000.

                      I have raised a request with max life to look into this matter and take it up seriously. However, the only resolution they can give me is to "Ignore fraud calls" and "be more careful".

                      MaxLife definitely is not a customer friendly company and they are taking their customers for a ride. Instead of working on the complaint details and taking action on the person who is attempting to make fraud calls, all they can do is ask the customer to be more careful. There is a major fraud happening with some insider even having access to emails of maxlife, sending what customers think are valid mails. Maxlife is refusing to acknowledge this

                          I am an NRE in abroad employment. I am in the process of surrender my policy due to financial constraints. Surrender policy is almost completing and I got the SMS of NEFT for money transfer to my NRE account. but, the calculation I made as per the policy agreement is 30% penalty that I have considered. but, TDS of 20% is also deducted for not submitting PAN card instead of 2% of TDS. PAN card is not applicable for me since i maintain only NRE account and i have no Indian generated found. TDS is only for the income generated from Indian fund and it shall be a interest rate or a gain developed by the policy / invested by max life. Here, I am not receiving any gain or interest of the paid premium. My claim is 70% of what ever the premium I paid. but deduction included 20% plus that the deviation amount is 56671 rupee. As per Indian tax act 1961 clearly states, NRE found has tax exempted unless it is converted to invest in to Indian market also the TDS is applicable for the income generated within India like interest paid. The refund is calculated by Max life insurance deduction calculated TDS of 20% from the capital amount. I have raised this question to the concerned bank agent and it is objectionable.

                          I could not attended a call that may be from [protected]@maxlifeinsurance.com . on followed, I got also email on my registered email address says that, there was no TDS deduction. I have replied to the [protected]@maxlifeinsurance.com and my bank as agent for justification and my calculation of the deviation of 56671 rupee. If the TDS is not in the deduction, how do they have calculated the final refund payment that not matches with policy agreement and it deviation of 56671 Indian rupee. Agreement says the penalty is 30% only that I have considered in my calculation. why, they are not mutually agreeing between consumer before finalizing the payment or not sending a justification statement. I can not accept what ever the payment they made.

Please people never invest with these frauds, i invested 60k fr 6 years and due to thier lack of good service and returns i decided to surrender my policy, these people are telling me i will get 27k after investing 60 k for 6 years. Furthermore they black mail me to pay the premiuims for another 20 years - when it is already 8 years since my policy is in effect and as per thier contract total premium payable is 20 (Anual) so do the math 20-8 is how much??? Where does the additional 20 years comefrom. Also thier policy states that if the policy has acquired surrender value no premium is payable and now these people me into saying my policy will lapse, they do not even call me saying my phone is not reachable, my phone is very much reachable, dont invest with them

Total amount due is Rs. 1, 00, 000/- (one lac rupees only) to be paid with immediate effect.

At the time of explaining agent told my father that after 10 years he can surrender the policy and get amount equal to all premiums paid till date plus bonus.
