01/04/2015 - I gave my mobile to a micromax authorized service center in madurai for repairing a broken display. Service center representative said to me that, Display doesn't comes under warranty and i have to pay for
replacing the display. then they added as micromax a210 display must be changed along with touch screen, otherwise it wont work properly. I agreed and paid Rs 4000/- for display and touch screen replacement. They said it would take 10 days to order the parts and service the phone.

(evening) - I received my mobile. the broken display was changed. I brought home my phone and put it on charge, After an hour when i checked my phone it was not charging.

(morning) - I again took my phone to the same service center and reported the problem. They said they have no idea how the problem has occurred and stated that it can be serviced under warranty, but for that they have to send the mobile to Micromax head office to service the mobile and it would take 25 days.

- When i went to micromax service center to check on my phone. They said my mobile was repaired and dispatched from head office and asked me to receive my phone in two days

- I went to service center to collect my phone. A micromax representative said they have received my phone, but before delivering they have to make a final checkup. After checking my phone, they reported to me that the problem was not solved. The mobile has passed the quality check after repair and the problem still persists. The employee told me to come back on 2nd May, 2015 during which time he would talk to the manager on the possibility of replacing the mobile.To report the problem to Micromax customer care, we spoke with Mr.Talvindar (Complaint No: [protected]). He said the mobile was still in Delhi Head Office and yet to be dispatched, which is total contrast what was said at the Micromax Service Centre in Madurai. We are not sure who is being honest with us.
02/05/2015 - I visited the Service Center at Madurai today and the representative (Mr. Saravanan) said he has consulted with his manager and that the mobile will be sent to the Head Office for replacement and will take a week for the process to be completed. When insisted on more information, he gave a contact of Mr. Mani - South Zone Head Service. He said once he receives the mobile in Delhi he will send the replacement as soon as possible, but the contact number given was a local number.We called the Customer Care to report the problem and one Mr. Roshan
attended the call. We were getting frustrated with the irresponsible answers by him and he disconnected the call while we were still speaking. We called again and one Ms. Priya answered and she said the Job Sheet No - S[protected] has been closed and remarked as problem solved by the Service Centre, Madurai. When we contacted the Service centre, they said they will issue another Job Sheet once we get there. But this was not mentioned to us earlier when we were there.
The replacement mobile they mentioned will be a testing phone used in the service centre and not a new one.We are not sure what is happening with the mobile and the service or if we will ever get the mobile. This is really frustrating to pay so much and for the mobile and the service and yet be without the mobile for more than a month
Micromax Informatics customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
