We bought a MICROMAX BOLT mobile on[protected], and on[protected] it fell from the desk in my sons college. The DISPLAY was broken. On[protected] we went to Micromax Service Centre Moosarambagh, Dilsukhnagar, in M/s. S.S.Enterprises, Hyderabad. A.P. We showed them the cracked display and it was in working condition i.e. sound was coming, and it was being connected on dialling. They told us that the Display has to be replaced and if necessary the power button MAY have to be replaced. They told the total charges would be Rs.1400/-. it may take 8 to 10 days for the repair. Service No.given was S[protected], later it was changed to[protected].
First of all it was surprising to note that the display of a brand new phone got broken by felling from desk to the chair of the desk just 1 to 1 1/2 feet.
Second it was not covered in the Warranty
Now, till this date we are still awaiting the REPAIR even after 62 DAYS and numerous enquiry calls about the repair with not a single feed back call from the service centre, though they promised that they will call and tell us the status in two to four days. The same excuse every time when we called them, they told they are awaiting the set from the company.
On 11th Sep I was told that the set will be dispatched by the company on 13th Sep. and I will get by 17th Sep.2014
Today i.e. 16th Sep. I called and enquired again i was told I will be getting the set in 2 more days the same excuse which I am hearing since 62 days.
In your contract Rule No.9, if the customer does not take the serviced set within 45 days the set will be auctioned.
CAN I ASK THE COMPANY ? WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR THE SERVICE IF IT IS DELAYED FOR MORE THAN 60 DAYS ???????
Will it take 60 + day to replace the display of a mobile by the company ??
What type of service you are providing to the customer with such delay ??
There is no system of CALL BACK to the customers to give the present status of the service.
WHY SHOULD I PAY TO A COMPANY WHICH MANUFACTURES SUCH MOBILES AND GIVE SUCH A WORST SERVICE ????????? .
