Thank you for the overwhelming disappointment and extraordinary customer support through out.
I was so happy to see an Indian mobile company’s progress and thought someday it would atleast take over the gross share of Indian Mobile Market.
It was started in the month of April, after a long wait , I’ve bought a HD phone, Micromax 116 for which I’ve visited all the mobile stores in my locality everyday.
The day I received it was a celebration for me, which did not last long.
It started giving me all kinds of weird software issues, touch became over sensitive, at times I wondered, if I sneeze on the mobile screen it might get unlocked though !
Yea, it was. Multiple auto switch offs and ons in a day. App crashes was quite common thing for me. Mobile becomes over heated, I could use it to boil something on it.
One fine day, after scheduled re-start, the screen went dim, I dint realize it though I might’ve dimmed the display and could be adjusted in the settings.
Later, the corners went black, till the time I’ve realized it, there was a thick black line crossing on the screen. It was dead one fine day !
I went to MMX checkpoint along with that mobile, that mobile was kept with them, they just gave me a “visiting card” with details written on it such as name, serial number date and all.
I was so surprised to see, how poorly could a service center be? No Job Sheet? They dint ask me How? When? What? Nothing !!! [censored]ed some blah blahs and said, sorry stressed, display gone, your fault, no warrenty
3,800rupees, want to get it done? I was so damn pissed off with your mobile first and with your customer care secondly !
I want my mobile to be alive, I’ve gone through all that hype,I bought that mobile and all I wanted was to see it working.
I went to them 2 days later, they said “Sir, Mother board gone, costs more” !!! I seriously was like” wt-“. I said, its in warrenty right? Why should I pay? After few arguments, they told that they’ll send this to Mumbai for servicing and they registerd a job ID then ! after enquiring the status of it, I was told that it was sent on 11th sept, I’ve deposited that on 6th sept.
What is seriously happening with you micromax ??
First thing, I was a customer of sony erricson and Samsung for about 4years now, never seen the face of a service centre till date.
I bought the mobile in the month of April and it was dead in August. In just 4months, if a mobile gives a mother board problem, after repair, there’s no guarantee that it wont give .
I don’t want that default piece, I request micromax to give me a replacement.
