On 4 July, 2016 I had purchased smartphone of Micromax company having model- Micromax Unite 4 Pro Q465(Gold) from snapdeal online shopping website(as the phone was available only there not on any physical store in market nearby me). Fascinated by the ad and new features, I was very much excited about having the one for me and using it as well .
The phone was delivered at my address on 7 July, 2016. I used it for its new features and everything was right till 16 July, 2016 when the phone showed no sign of being active or dead. I registered a complained with snapdeal which they refused by saying that as per their policy complaints can be registered only within 7 days after the delivery after that they are not liable for any defects. I visited local dealer shops nearby they said that if I would have purchased the phone from them then only they could either replace, refund, return or repair now they can't do anything. I contacted Micromax customer care center, they said to contact service center nearby. I visited the customer care center on 18 July, 2016 they said to give 24 hours time to repair and take phone back next day. On 19 July, 2016 I went to service center and collected my phone after repair and it was functioning very well.
After using the phone for about next 20 days, on 6 Aug, 2016 the phone again stopped working it become completely defunct. I again visited the same service center on 8 Aug, 2016 they said to take to another service center. I visited that service center on 9 Aug 2016, they said it has some battery issue gave me a job sheet with no- N[protected] and said it's battery is having some issues so it needs to be changed. My MiWarranty no- [protected]mi so, they said to contact after 2-3 days as it would take 2-3 days in battery replacement. I contacted after 2-3 days then they said to contact after next week as there were holidays on that week. When I contacted again then they said to contact after 15 days as battery was not replaced till then. Then they said to contact after 21+days. I contacted micromax customer care center, they said we cannot do anything.
It has been two months since the phone has been purchased in which I could use it for only 29 days. I want to know whether I have purchased phone for my use or to gift it to service center of Micromax? Also have I committed any crime by purchasing phone from snapdeal and not the local dealer due to which I am not getting any replacement for that either? I need my phone back at the earliest and these people are just testing my patience is this the way of doing business?
I have attached two pictures with the message one is invoice letter of phone purchase and other the claim that company does that repair or replacement in 24 hours. I need either a better functioning phone that is for my use and not be given to service center all the time or refund of my money so that I could purchase some better company's mobile.
Kindly help in resolving this issue within this week. I promise I will neither myself buy nor advice any other to buy micromax products, if buying there products is a crime.
