I have Yureka Mobile which has Reverse Charging Problem. With millions of people having the same issue, this is definately a mass Manufacturing Defect.
I want a full refund now, unless they can replace it with a guarantee that this issue is not there in the new model. I cannot afford to be stranded like this without being able to charge my phone.
At this moment my phones dead showing bathing since over 12hrs and still at 0% battery.

    1. Please refer the following:-

    (A) many of my e-mails to [protected]@micromaxinfo.com specially dt 21 jun and 10 jul 16 and your mail dtd 25 jul 16.

    (C) telephonic conversation between me and mr sudhanshu of your customer care centre[protected] at 22:20 hrs on 11 jul 15 from my mobile.

    (D) telephonic conversation between me and mr anoop of your customer care centre[protected] at 18:13 hrs on 16 jul 15 from my mobile.

    (E) micromax micare service request no. Ser[protected] dt 11 aug 16 and ser[protected] dt 21 aug 16.

    (F) telephonic conversation between me and micare executive (Name not remembered) at my mobile from[protected] at 12:33 h on 16 aug 16.

    (G) telephonic conversation between me and micare executive (Mr manoj and supervisor mr vikram) at 12:27 h on 22 aug 16 at my mobile from[protected].

    (H) many emails from my email id - to [protected]@micromaxinfo.com (Specially dtd 21 jun 16, 10 jul 16, 12 jul 16, 25 jul 16, 28 jul 16, 29 jul 16, 30 jul 16)

    (I) micromax warranty clause as uploaded on www.micromaxinfo.com as well as the warranty clause provided to me with the tablet.

    2. I purchased a micromax tablet p680 with imei sl no. [protected] and [protected] on 6 may 16 and after the delivery delays, the tablet was first put in use on either 22 may or 23 may 16 (You might have registered the same and can easily find out exact date of its first usage). The tablet stopped taking the charging w. E. F. 21 jun 16 and on the same day i had registered the complaint through e-mail (Tkt no.- 359960) as well as through a service request vide ser[protected].

    3. As adviced by the customer care, i visited the service centre alongwith all necessary documents on 09 jul 16 and was conveyed that some pin of the charging jack of the tablet is disconnected from the motherboard and cannot be repaired under warranty. Local adjustments, if i desire, can be made only to facilitate charging (Connecting the tablet to any other device for data transfer is not possible) at the cost of rs 450.00. Else, as a permanent solution, i am to get the motherboard costing approx rs 4500.00 changed (Outside warranty). I was additionally conveyed that if the company approves replacement of motherboard, it will be changed at the service centre.


    4. This was conveyed to micromax customer care executive mr sudhanshu during telephonic conversation made by me (From my mobile to your customer care centre[protected] at 22:20 hrs on 11 jul 16. I was confirmed that the jack is repairable under warranty and i need to make service centre executive talk to customer care on subject during my next visit to service centre.

    5. I did the same on 16 jul 16 and call got connected to mr anoop who refused to undertake the repairs quoting the defect to be out of warranty. I requested him to provide me the warranty clause excluding the charging jack' internal damages from the warranty. A request was logged vide
    Mmx[protected] but he or anyone else from micromax did not provide the same to me till date.

    6. Finally, i downloaded the warranty clause available at your webpage and vide its para 3 could understand the following:-

    Micromax shall not be obliged to undertake repair of products found waterlogged, liquid damaged or tampered as a result of repair carried out by unauthorized repairers.

    7. As my tablet and its damage doesn't fall under para 3 of the warranty clause, and i have not been provided with any other warranty clause excluding charging jack damages from the warranty coverage, it remains liable to be repaired by micromax. Thus i continued to pursue the matter with micromax customer care for its repairs vide many emails from my email id - (Specially dtd 21 jun 16, 10 jul 16, 12 jul 16, 25 jul 16, 28 jul 16, 29 jul 16, 30 jul 16)

    8. Since then till now, all my requests to micromax are being replied with a single sentence to coordinate with service center. Whereas, all the time i visit the service center, they ask me to contact the customer care for necessary instructions.

    9. I would like to apprise/ remind you here that the defect occurred in the tablet within a month of its usage and the tablet is absolutely intact ruling out all probabilities of external damages. The charging jack is completely housed and well seated within the tablet casing. Any damage to its pins could only be attributed to its manufacturing defect or failure of the components within the tablet.

    10. There is no physical damage to the tablet but the service center is not ready to repair the tablet without permission from the company to do so. If at all the charging jack is disconnected and cannot be repaired as well as the only solution left is to get the motherboard replaced, then the company must look into the matter for getting the motherboard changed under warranty. Kindly remember that the tablet has not even been used for one month before its unserviceability was noticed. Thus in all probabilities, the defect could have existed since new and has only emerged during the course of the usage of the tablet for first 20-25 days.

    11. The tablet was put into bonafide use and handled safely. The charging jack of the tablet became unserviceable within a reasonably short period of its proper usage and there is no external damage to the tablet. Additionally, the tablet was never opened any time earlier before reporting the defect as well as producing the tablet to the authorised service centre.

    12.in the last conversation from micromax customer care, i was conveyed to approach the company at micare link of the website and hence i approached micare vide ser[protected] dt 11 aug 16 for the following:-

    (A) decision on the damage category and a request to consider the case seriously and intimate me as what is the stand of the company on the category of the damage.

    (B) in case, repair of the tablet is outside the warranty clause, then to justify the same to me by quoting exact warranty clause. Otherwise issue necessary instructions to service centre at jaisalmer (Suncity mobiles) which has been refusing to repair it under warranty for replacement of the motherboard with info to me. It has already been conveyed to micromax that the secvice centre executives have categorically refused to undertake the repair and have communicated to me that if the company clears the repair then they will replace the motherboard as that is the only solution to the defect.

    13. As a response to this request, i received a call from[protected] at 12:33 h on 16 aug 16. As i was travelling on that day, i was requested to reregister a complaint on 22 aug 16 at micare and wait for a call from micare executives prior to proceeding to service center.

    14. A fresh request was raised vide ser[protected] dt 21 aug 16 and i received a call from mr manoj at 12:27 hrs on 22 aug 16. He had not even read the complaint and was not aware about the story. He also started to sing the same story of the defect of the tablet being out of warranty but had no reference to any document where this is written or published by micromax. Lastly he insisted that this must be written in the warranty card provided to me along with the tablet. After long conversation, i requested him to connect me to his supervisor, which he bluntly refused. On my insistence, to either connect me to supervisor or disconnect the call from his end, he connected me to his supervisor mr vikram. He also conveyed me that the defect of the tablet is out of warranty but he also had no reference to any document where this is written or published by micromax but the warranty card provided to me along with the tablet. When i confirmed him that i have read the warranty card but there is no clause excluding the defect of my tablet from warranty cover, and again insisted to either provide me reference of the document excluding my defect or issue instructions to the service center for replacement of the mother board. He assured me that he will arrange a call back from some service engineer but that also has not happened till date. Both of them also asked me to again contact customer care at [protected]@micromaxinfo.com for a better solution. I refused to do so as i have been played between service centre, customer care and now micare for a simple solution. I have checked the warranty card, where again there is nothing given to exclude the defect of my tablet from warranty coverage. The exclusions mentioned at para 6 of the warranty statement of the warranty card state the following:-

    “ (A) the device imei number/ serial number, the accessory date code, water indicator or warranty seal has been removed, erased, defaced, altered or is illegible; or

    (B) deterioration of the product due to normal wear and tear; or

    (C) usage other than in accordance with the user manual, rough handling, ingression off exposure to any kind of liquid (Water, sweat, beverages, oils etc), exposure to moisture, dampness or exposure to extreme thermal or environmental conditions, corrosion, oxidation, unauthorized repairs, unauthorized spare parts usage, accidents, forces of nature, or other actions beyond the reasonable control of micromax unless the defect was caused directly by defects in material or workmanship. The warranty will also not cover any physical damage to the surface of the device including but not limited to cracks or scratches on the lcd or camera lens; or

    (D) any defects caused by the fact that the battery has been short-circuited or by the fact that the seals of the battery casing or the cells are broken or show evidence of tampering or by the fact that the battery has been used in equipment other than those for which it has been specified; or

    (E) the defect was caused by a defective function of the service provider cellular network or other system.”

    15. Defect of my tablet is not covered in any of the above clauses of exclusion and hence still remains under warranty.

    16. Kindly investigate the matter thoroughly and instruct the service centre (Email id of the service centre is placed above) to replace the motherboard (As that is the only option for repair of the tablet) instead of telling me every time to coordinate with service centre, micare or customer care and return with a fresh clause.

    Mine is exact case with P680 Micromax and the response from Micromax service centre, customer care, micare is also the same. Actually quite frustrating. I have been advised to go to consumer court.

    Just wanted to check if you got any resolution to the problem from Micromax.

      I had Micromax Canvas 6 within 2 months it has software problem i gone to Micromax Care Center Solan H.P. they are just delaying the date they are saying to me come tomorrow come tomorrow now its up them 2 weeks so i want to suggest take strict actions against them .And open an new Official Micromax Care in our city with mannered Workers

        My software got crashed in span of just 5 months.all unnecessary unwanted apps getting installed automatically even after uninstalling it several times.so service center people asked me to update software to resolve it.so i did it 5 months ago by paying 250 rs .and again same problem appeared 3 months ago, again i updated software by paying 250rs..now again same problem occured, so when i called micromax support centre they didnt resolve my problem rather they had cut my call .i called 3 times, all the 3 time different people received call, for all of them i need to explain everything, and it is not toll free call too..its too anoying...so kindly mobile problem permanently or else replace with new one else im willing to file a case in consumer form with all necessary proofs n documents.

          Dear Sir,

          I had deposited my Micromax Tab P666 to M/S Service Zone Tele Centre, Ghaziabad as the Tab was dead on July 04, 2016. Jobsheet No. for the same is N[protected]. It was told to me that the mother board was faulty and the same will be changed in 15 days time period. But since than it has been more than 50days and there has been no update. Every time when i call the centre they update me that the TAB has gone to company and they don't know the time it will take. It has been a sheer harassment from their part and above all from August 14, 2016 i am repeatedly getting the sms on my number as someone else is using the tab. The service centre people does not know anything about the progress of the tab.Kindly help me with the same.

            Random applications are been Installed and ran automatically in my mobile handset causing it to heat severely and high usage of RAM. These problems persist even after the mobile has been formatted completely and software update is carried out. And this starts as soon as I switch on my internet.
            I'm just fed up of this situation and the low standard brand of micromax and it's services.

                I had purchased the aforesaid Tab on 17th April 2016, within 15 days of my purchase, I visited Micromax's service centre namely V-Care Telecom Services which is situated near CST Mumbai, as there was no display in my tab, I got the tab repaired after 15 days, when I collected my tab from said service centre, the side function keys of my said tab were damaged, I immediately brought the same to the notice of the manager of the Service Centre, he said we will have to send it back to the Head Office and it will take another 15 days. I did not give it back as I wanted the Tab for some urgent use. After around 3 weeks of my use the display again went blank and I had to visit the same Service Centre and it again took them around 15 days to repair it, after which I collected my tab, but this time it was even worse as there were scratches all over the display and the housing of my tab was bend and I could easily push in my nails between the tab, after the said incident on 26/07/2016, I lodged a complaint with the Micromax customer care under complaint No.MMX[protected], the executive on the phone assured me that they will look into the issue and provide me a solution within 24 hrs., i did not receive any call from your side, after 2 days I again lodged a complaint bearing No.MMX[protected] for the said issue, even after 72 hrs. There was no response from your side. On 29/07/2016, I again lodged a complaint bearing No.MMX[protected] and another on 01/08/2016 under complaint No. MMX[protected] and Complaint No.MMX[protected] on 06/08/2016, till date have not got any response to the same and the Service Centre refused to submit my Tab as they were to receive some approval mail from your L4 department, on 10/08/2016, I again visited the same service centre and submitted the Tab as it was not turning on, even after waiting for 15 days after submission of my tab i have not received any information or update in respect of my tab

                      I took my yuphoria 5010 model which is currently under warranty to the service centre for a minute touch problem. To be precise about the problem the three letters on the touch pad which are d, x and, were not working despite various efforts of fixing it. So coming back to the issue I gave them the phone to repair and they came up with an issue that the board of the phone is damaged and needs to be changed and this thing doesn't come under any warranty so they will charge around 2650/- for that, giving a pause I told them that I will in a day or two about the Same. They returned the phone in a minute or two and it was switched off, i went outside I inserted the sim card and memory card but was unable to switch it on and it came to my mind thatWhen I handed over the phone to them it's battery was very low so I thought this might be the reason for that and I went back home. After its battery came to 64% exact I removed the charger and tried to switch it on and couldn't. After many attempts I wasn't able to switch it on and then next day after coming back from college I went to their service centre and told them everything, they checked the phone and told that the part that switches on the phone is missing and now the panel, acb board and outer body will be changed for 3650/- and even they blamed me taht I would have handed over the phone at some other repair shop and now the repairing is necessary.
                      Now you tell me they steal the parts so that the problem increases to heights and hefty amount is now necessary to be paid and if the part was missing how am I managing to use the phone for about 8 months overall and 2 months with current touch problem going on.

                      I went at laxmi nagar service centre named as The mobile store which is near maharaja banquet and Norman viharetro station.

                        Dear sir
                        i am using micromax hd plus a190 model. Since 4 month i am faceing akward as my phone started auto download sexual content app and many unknown app and also it deducted all my balance of around 100 rs in my phone. As 1month earlier i visited micromax repair center in kancheepuram and enquired about this matter, He updated the phone and told its a virus which particularly effect this micromax model now its cleared and it dont persit in future. He charged 400 rs for the updation. Now again same problem persist and i lost my 70 rs balance also and not able to make call, no space, internal memory run out and none of the function working out. when i attend a call in between i got a hard vibration on my ear. i am tortured with this phone. Hence request you to solve the problem as soon as possible.

                          Having problem from last 6 months and i have also submitted my handset to your micromax service centre but the same problem is occurring again and again.
                          Here are the details for the job sheet

                          Problem reported :4103 power switches off
                          And i received my handset after 2 months without being repaired.
                          O i again submitted the handset to the care centre on 12/08/2016 with job sheet number[protected] but i still didn't get a response from the care centre.
                          So please either solve my problem or provide me a new handset.

                            Dear mircromax,

                            I am your customer and we always support micromax beacuse it is a indian company it does not matter that manufacturing unit is in china.
                            We always advise our friends and other to buy micromax phone to support india, but as per the recent interaction with your service centre in nagpur, buldi (Maharashtra). I am deeply dissatisfied.

                            There is a small problem in my keypad only two button is not working. He told us it is due to moisture and it voids warranty but i wanna ask to micromax why they are taking care of such circumstance before design/manufacturing/quality inspection of these handset.
                            It is not over fault it is the fault of yours and then tell me how it voids warranty.
                            Your customer care are also not satisfied me when i him this question.
                            Please tell us what is the means of warranty and if you are doing business like this and asking money for customer for repair. We think there is no need of warranty itself.
                            Why we support micromax?
                            No support from service centre!
                            Bad behaviour of your customer service!
                            Asking for money for what?

                            If you really want to do business in india you should have to lookafter at your services. This is the only reason your sale of handset is lowered.
                            It is fact. Kindly consired it.
                            We spend money it has value at well.

                              I have been facing the same issue with the micro max service team. I have loged my compliant to naveen on dated 12 march 2016. He resolved my issue that time and assured me if in future issue would not close than he will replace my led, now from last 2 month i m facing automatic shut down and color screen problem. First time he was agree for replacement now he is saying product is out of warranty which he can not replace.in march month he had given me 3 month extra warranty slip. Now he is only agree for repair related work which i dont want.

                              Almost 2 months has been gone, till today no one had contacted and attended the issue. I had called multiple times to the customer service …. Multiple email communication…. They are keep saying the same story that service person would contact me. Till today i didn’t receive any call from those guys…such a pathetic service micromax has. From my experience i strongly recommend never ever purchase any micromax product. Their after sales support is too poor.

                              Pl. Resolve my issue.

                                Sub: Complain in Mobile set.
                                Dear Sir,
                                I was purchased Micromax mobile ( Model X072, IMEI No [protected] [protected] ) from DREAMLAND SHOPPER, Santoshpur New Road, Kolkata- 700 066, dt. 27/06/16 and set good working .
                                But 15/07/16 suddenly set power off and I go to Micromax max service centre ( M/S Infotel services, 43B Block-c, New Alipore, Taratala, Kolkata-53) Mobile set deposit for repair & call to me 22/07/16 & 23/07/16 handover to me switch on . but 10 minitues after mobile switch off, he told to me Battery charge low. I start mobile at my home without Battery charge and set running work 4 hours and again power & display off. Again go to service centre deposit to mobile set and speak to me set repair long time.
                                5/08/16 your company Message to me, that Your “ Micromax device vide job sheet no. E[protected] is under repairs and shall be delivered to you in 7 days. We encourage you to use our self-help option wherein status of your ob sheet is just a click away my link and we are sincerely working towards delivering the be performance to you “.
                                Again your Team 19/08/16 message to me “ your set shall be delivered to you in 2 days “.
                                Yesterday( 23/08/16, 11:21:00), your call centre Phone to me sir your set is ok. Please come to service centre. I go to service centre & job sheet to operator and after 15 minutes told to me set again mechanical problem.
                                Now, I request to you either this Mobile set change to me for 7 days, neither I go to West Bengal Consumer Forum .

                                  Maine 25/05/2016 ko apke authurised service center me apna smartphone repair krne k liye diya, but apke service center se phone gayab ho gya. Mujhe apke care se ek jobsheet provide ki gai jiska no[protected]-23541942 h.
                                  Iske liye kai baar maine apke customer care no [protected] pe baat ki lekin kisi bhi prakar ka support nhi mila, uske baad maine 2 baar apke head office me bhi baat ki wha bhi koi support nhi diya gya.
                                  Micromax Informatics customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  I went to get my Yuphoria 5010 screen changed because it was damaged. After getting it changed, the mobile speaker bnot working. Inner part making harsh sounds on vibration. And the service center people are not cooperating at all. If this be, Ill never ever purchase a Micromax again.
                                  PS- My mobile is still in warranty
                                  My model micromax had an issue with the display.the display has completely gone.and i want to repair it.And i am from trivandrum kerala.And it seems there is no service center for me to approach.Kindly look into it

                                    I have given my micromax canvas xpress 2 e313 for service purpose on 2/07/2016 at hathibagan (Sovabazar), kolkata 700006
                                    . It has a liquid problem. Today i got my phone back but microphone is not working. I totally disappointed with this service center. I have faced a several problems with my phone right now.

                                      We purchased micromax tv 42 on december -2014. Its only 1+ year old and tv is not longer working. Tv is showing a blank black display initially with only sound.

                                      We called the micromax technician to check the problem after veryfying he said the panel is faulty, which costs 80% of the tv cost

                                      The tv was faulty model with a manufacturing defect which has caused the problem. We paid 25000 to purchase tv and the faulty panel costs us 20000.
                                      Its definately fooling with customers. We need an action for this problem

                                        Dear sir mam... this is the worst, , company i ever see in my life... i bought micromax handset 11 months ago... after 8 daya it starts give problems company policy is doA they can change in only 7 days... after that they send my new handset to delhi... company peoples send me other combo handset i take it after 2-3 months it starts gives problems...i went to customer they tell me tgey have to send back to delhi again for 15-20 days... u peoples just tell how anybody can live without handset for 15-20 at today's time.. i didn't send i juat managed my self now its started problems again... its display gets in different coloured but not its dropped or squeeze... no company employees are blaming me... u squeezed it... or dropped what i must do about this company... thief micromax company... u can see in ujjain there is no head if anybody want to talk to head they have to talk on customer care... plz help me i am frustrate about this company...
                                        only 1 month left in my warranty plz help
