My phone got switched of due to water damage. Company is claiming that phone is water rasistant and they are not giving warranty on that. Service of motorola is very bad. I went to service center and afer waiting for aprox 5 hrs they took my phone and said that your motherboard got dameged so for repairing it you have to pay aprox rs. 22000. How stupit it is. Very bad experience i will suggest others to go for samsung or apple. Because first time i thought of buying motorola and this is what my experience it.

    I bought a Lenovo Motorola Moto G4 Plus and had to give it to service center

    Issue was battery drainage and overheating by not more than 9 month o[censored]sage of my MOTOROLA MOTO G4 PLUS
    (i also had a charger issue earlier for which i had to go to service center within 4 months of buying).

    1. they changed my screen without asking me with battery.

    2. they replaced it with a faulty or old screen (i checked it when i went for second time to collect it.) I was lucky enough to notice it otherwise I would have been made fool. The screen was yellowish with patches. THEY TOOK MY ORIGINAL SCREEN AND CHANGED IT WITH OLDER OR DUPLICATE ONES. I told them to change it or replace it with my earlier screen.

    3.Again they replaced that faulty screen with another more faulty screen (i had to return empty handed the 3rd time again)
    This time screen had SCREEN BURNING ISSUE IN IT.( again i was lucky enough to notice it). They were giving me much worse piece of ### telling me that this was my earlier screen only. Again I had to ask them to replace it

    4.This time when I was called the screen was again used old faulty or duplicate because it had white dot patch or dead pixel on left middle part of screen. Again they were telling this is my screen only so they will not replace it now.

    5. Some MALPRACTICE OR FISHY POLICY is going on in service center as THEY TAKE OUT ORIGINAL PRODUCTS AND REPLACE IT WITH OLDER, FAULTY OR DUPLICATE PARTS THAT TOO WITHOUT ASKING.

    6. We have to be careful and extra cautious to check what all they did INSTEAD OF REPAIRING IT THEY WORSEN IT CONDITIONS

    7 means going to service center is rather a headache so that condition should not worsen.

    8. As My mobile has been opened completely for 4-5 times and screen has been replaced all time with faulty one. Condition of my cellphone is worsened. It is loose with scratches. It has gap between rim and screen. It is no longer water resistant. Speaker grill is misplaced.

    9. So condition of my cell phone is worsened by Motorola service and I have to suffer. I have to waste my time money effort and energy 5-6 times that too in vain. I had to take half day off from my office to visit them.

    9. And How mANY TIME I have to go and visit service center and return empty handed its been more than 1 month apart from knowing that my handset condition is worsening day by day as part are being removed opened and replaced multiple times that too with old faulty or duplicate ones.

    10. Its been 1 month my mobile is with them only and no action hass been taken.

    11. I even tried to contact Motorola company and CUSTOMER CARE and their senior technician but they plainly refuse to help and tell me to collect that phone in whatever condition it is. They also disconnect my call refusing me. I called them for more then 15 times this entire month.

    12. I have call recordings as a proof and photos and cc tv footages of their service center.

    I have been trying your customer service from last month its already been more than a month trying for more than a dozen times including emails chats and calls.
    Everytime I was ignored by refusing and disconnecting the call and chat from your end only (I even have proof).
    Everytime they said our representative or senior technicians will contact you within 24 hrs but I have not received a single call from your end still since last month everytime I had to call and I was fed up of getting same answer.
    Even one of your senior official named Ajay Kumar Pandey plainly arrogantly refused to help me saying we don't have any policies you have to take back your cellphone in whatever condition it is after repairing and cannot be refunded or replaced or any other request of yours cannot be entertained. So I asked him to mail me whatever you said and your policies are he said he will mail me and disconnected the call but I have still not received his mail till date and still waiting for it.He just simply told me whatever(this conversation I have a recording dated 25-Oct-2017).

    So all effort in vain its useless to contact you and be harassed again and again.
    My cellphone is still with the service center from 25-sept-2016.
    So losing all my hope I ordered a new cellphone from other brand.

      I did bought moto g4 plus aug 2016 amount 14999. From amazon.in. Now that phone battery charging jack is not working. That jack has a problem. I visit motorola service center at janakpuri branch. They said" you have to pay 7500 to repair this jack. Saying the motherboard also will change but my phone is completely okay. I think that intent is wrong. Please take strict actions. I am happy to repair my phone outside local repair store. But they dont have enough equipment.

        When i connect my phone through aux cable the media player or video player get paused again and again. So, it plays then it stops then i play it again then it plays but again stops. It happens every time and irritates. I am unable to play music or videos using aux cable. This happens not only in car stereo but also happens with music system. This is strange that earphones work fine but aux cable doesn't work.

        I have checked it with many aux cables result is same.

        Please tell me what to do to resolve this. Do i take it to the service center to change the aux jack or need a software update or reinstallation.

        Please provide a solution, this is not done i had never expected such bad material from motorola

          I submitted my sister's moto g4 plus regarding a charging issue. They said they'd call back with the details once they check it. They didn't call even after weeks. So i contacted them and inquired the status. They didn't even order the spare for repair.

          They kept the phone for several weeks there and didn't intimate me with the details. They could have either contacted me and tell the reason for the delay or an alternative solution. Finally, i had to return my phone back without servicing because of their act.

          The phone had lots of work-related data. Because of their irresponsible behavior, she couldn't do her work properly during these periods.

          The employees (Particularly, the lady on the front desk) are very rude and they talk to customers without any good manners. Pathetic experience.

            I have motog4+. Its touch not working and i went to service center he talking for 7500/- for screen replacement, while my phone under guarantee period. Now on my screen white and black lines are coming and cant use my phone.

            There are one inches parallel line in my right side on screen. Now there are vertical white lines on my screen. What should i do for screen replacement or for repairing???

I take it to official moto service center they take it for 3-4 weeks, and again in 2-3 day phone got complaint. From february to last month sep. 2017 i take it to service center.                 The display screen was broken and then the same was submitted to motorola service center at address: shop no. F-11, first floor, eternity commercial complex, lbs road, teen haath naka, thane west, mumbai, maharashtra 400604 with the work order number: mot/ete02/ci/9/17/0001607 dated 20th sept. 2017
                I was told (Orally) that the mobile phone after paid repair would be given back to me within one week.
                I am a government employee at a highly responsible position and the alternate phone i have is not a smartphone and does not have 3g and 4g services and have been finding it very difficult to attend my duty.
                Every time i call enquiring about the phone i get a plain reply that it will take 2-3days more. When i called today after 25 days, the reply was it will take another 6 days.
                Will i get the phone... Will the service center take responsibility if any service matter goes wrong.
                I look for compensation for the mental torture and adding inefficiency in my job.

                  I have given mobile on 12/10/2017. They told me to collect my phone on 7th day. But when i went on 18th, they told to come after 2 days. Now when i made a call, they told it's not ready, it will take time. Same mobile given on july was taken more than one month for service.
                  I gave one more mobile on 18th oct, token no. 28. Now they are asking me imei no.

                  They can't find my mobile details, as they had not given me any receipt. They told me to collect my mobile at 4pm . If it is not ready then take the receipt.
                  Now when I asked about my mobile, they behave as if they don't know about the mobile.
                  I am really very much upset . I don't know what to tell, such a bad service they have. Not a single customer is satisfied. I request you to look into the matter as soon as possible.

                    I own a moto x play device.

                    I unlocked this device's bootloader couple of years ago.

                    Recently i received ota update notifications from motorola as i was on stock firmware. On updating the phone is bricked.

                    When i went to the service centre the guys where not able to understand the difference between rooted device and unlocked bootloader.

                    Moreover they didn't even understand the problem and reverted to me saying that they will charge 300 (Service charge) + 250 for the update of os. And even if it was not possible to flash os they will take service charge.

                    Now the problem although on a unlocked device was caused due to ota updates from motorola which possibly shouldn't have been pushed to unlocked device on first place.

                    This is hampering my business a lot and i would like to escalate this issue in case of device not put to proper working condition.

                    Also i would recommend that you take necessary action against the service centre at pune. —

                    Also, Note that the service centre was asking me complete money 300+250 even if device doesn't boot. I had to literally bargain to make them realise that they should at least not charge more than service charge.

                      I want my phone updated and jeck replace of my phone due to not charging phone invoice no. Is f0yq[protected] dt.[protected]. Handsets/ vq70403 / motorola ["[protected]", [protected]"] immidiately. But the service centre regret to do this"ludhiana service center near model town". They demand 1500 for this servce. The phone is under waranty.

                          Greetings!!!

                          I got a new moto g 5s plus from amazon which costed rs. 15999. I have rarely used the mobile. On 9th october i had put my mobile for charging. Initially my mobile was getting charged suddenly i noticed the mobile was not getting charged. I changed my mobile to different points and checked but didn't work. The mobile was working fine. Finally on 10th october since my mobile charge got drained my mobile was switched off.

                          I went to authorised service center at adyar: smart care - ctg
                          Address: #70/29, 1st floor, sardar patel road, adyar
                          Job sheet no: soin[protected]

                          [protected]

                          They said waterlogging and charging cable and charging pin burnt. They said they will charge rs. 2, 600 for changing the charging point.

                          I told them there was no change of water logging into the device. The service personnel told me may be because of sweat or rain.

                          Since it was a costly mobile i told them fine kindly service and give me.

                          On friday when i called the service center they told me the mobile cannot be serviced and asked me to take it back.

                          I was totally upset since its rs.16000 mobile and i had hardly used it.

                          I checked with amazon they couldn't help me.

                          Finally got in touch with moto customer care and the customer care executive got all the details about the service center and told that i will be called back by senior executive.

                          Finally today since there was no followup messaged the moto care again giving my job sheet number and the executive told me the mobile is ready you can go n get if from the service center.

                          I again called the service center they again gave me the same answer saying that the mobile cannot be serviced kindly collect it.

                          When i informed the same to moto care executive she told me to go directly to service center and call the toll free number from the service center.

                          I went directly the adayar service center, when i gave my job sheet they said mobile cannot be serviced kindly take it back.
                          When i told them again about that i contacted the customer care executive they lady from the service center told me that mobile can be serviced but you will be charged rs. 12000 for changing the mother board.

                          When i asked why you dint tell about the mother board service and cost before the service center people told me usually they wont say about about changing the mother board over the phone. They will only say that the mobile can be serviced.

                          Another service personal told me even though mother board is changed we cannot assure the mobile will work.

                          This has led to be a height of depression and really couldnt bear what the service i receive from you guys.

                          My question:
                          I am not aware that water has logged into mobile. My mobile was working totally fine.
                          If a rain drops or sweat put me to a situation that i need to purchase a new mobile again then why should i get moto
                          I have not even started using the mobile properly event before that i have lost my mobile
                          Your service persons are not clear what they are answering and their answers are continuously changing.
                          My mobile was totally working fine will the mobile got switched off with out charge but how could you claim that mobile cannot be repaired.

                          If i had dropped my phone into water bucket swimming pool or if i get wet in the rain with my mobile, i accept that its my mistake.

                          But all these things didnt happen at all and now you are claiming my mother board has to be changed then with what trust can i get moto mobile again... I have a genuine reason to claim since its a very new mobile and i have been very careful using it. And rs.15999 spend on a mobile is not that easy. It was gift from my parents and cannot tell them that mobile cannot be used at all. My mobile totally working fine till without charge and if it had been a mother board problem it wouldnt have worked at all. Kindly consider my case and help me get my mobile serviced or replaced.

                            It was about 4 months my new Motorola G5 plus was working well I'm fine but it was as usual I charge my phone at night for an hour it got fully charged till hundred percent and I kept it for her side. When I wake up in the morning I was watching that from my phone from the navigation bar blue white and grey lines are running throughout the display and it automatically turned off. My head was freaking out that how it can be possible it's just a new phone I was knowing that its display problem so I kept it aside and went to office. When I came back to home I try to open that but I can see and hear that lock unlock sound was coming out from the speaker and I thought that is a minor issue so I should complain in the Motorola services via moto app. But I got to know that there is a service centre near Asansol . So I went who to check my phone problem. But the incharge of the customer care of Motorola in Asansol. Told me that your phone was Dip inside the water and your motherboard and the SIM card tray was infected by fungus and it got rust as per service centre. But I don't know how can it be possible I haven't done anything at all. It was just about a 4 month and my phone is just chill you within warranty but they told it cannot be possible because your phone is not coming under warranty under Motorola terms and conditions so I got freaked up a lot and my head got brust up that what the **** how can it be possible man I don't know why you people designs is a phone with written that water resistant as per company it is Splash proof ok fine . When I bought it from Flipkart it was alright within 4 months and all of a sudden it got rust . Then what's freaking things that Flipkart all Motorola is selling this phone for such a high rate up to 18000. And the customer care told me that the motherboard are the main part of the phone will cost you about about 10000 rupees for the motherboard I don't know why wel from the rust came and the water got dipped inside my phone I don't think that you are engineers and designers knows how to make a phone. I will not say that I can make a phone but still why it's required to make a SIM tray up of a phone. If a person walks in a road and all of a sudden it started raining and the person kept the phone in the pocket . So that means the phone will work. But I don't know how it is not working I haven't done anything but still it wasn't turning on. Show the phone by brought it it was totel costed about an 18000 so what's the mean of buying motherboard of about 10000. So I got to know about the problem from the customer centre. So I should complain in the consumer forum about this matter then why should Motorola Flipkart should sell this items about an such an amount . So I don't know what could be done I want my device to be get alright but I don't know what could be done I took my phone from the customer centre and it is kept as a showpiece for amount of 18000 I don't know why you what could be done right now please help me as fast as you can the complaint sheet is attached below this complain.

                              I bought my mobile on last week of july 2017 and from then i am continuously facing problem with my phone's microphone. Its not working properly, the other party is unable to hear my voice loud and clear. I have gone through so many queries in lenovo forum but no one gives satisfactory answer whether the software has problem or hardware. Motorola team please respond to my complain what i have to do to get it resolve as i am motorola fan and even i have currently moto e 1st gen from 2014 and it works flawless, i was expecting the same quality but this time i am bit disappointed with this issue. Please take immediate action on it because there lots of people facing the same problem out there and they are expecting to get it resolved by update but no single update i have received for it.

                                I bought Moto g5 plus from flipkart. The cover of mic was loose and it falls Everytime so I contacted Flipkart they told me to show earphone to customer service center of Motorola which I did but person in service center fixed it with feviquick without making any jobsheet card so I was angry because customer service center will get excuse that now
                                it will not count in warranty and he said same thing he said this is damage pc so can't be replaced. Clearly It's a manufacturing defect which is not my fault which i explained lots of time to Motorola customer care but they are not responding at all even told me to call back within 48 hours and today it's almost 5 days but still not responding like they are waiting to expire my warranty so I can not do anything but I want replacement of my earphones soon.

                                I have already mentioned every details what more you are expecting? Bloody careless customer support. If you want more details contact me on my number because you liars last time told me to contact within 48 hours but after 10days still you stupid people are not calling. If you don't want to call back then why you committed. If Warranty of headphone will expire because of laziness of you ### people then I will not be responsible for that I want solution of my problem that's it I don't care if you are late okey. I am surly going to take legal action for you leziness or carelessness for customers.

                                  I have called customer care service of motorola from 16th of september till today i didn't get any response from the customer care. They are just playing with me. I keep on calling them to slove my problem. Two times they have changed the display and again i am getting the same complaint three this i have submitted my mobile in the authorised service center of motorola they people's also don't have the responsibility to slove this problem. The service center is too far from my home town. Last two time i went to the service center because of the motorola customer support persons called and they said their procedure to slove this problem i have done everything like they said. I have mailed so many time till now i didn't get any reply. The same issue i have till now they can't slove the problem. They can't take any proper decisions. The another fun is that nearest authorised service centre of motorola they are "not accepting my mobile for the service" then why they give the authorised service centre. Even the service center people's gives me manual job sheet then i call and inform to the motorola customer service they said it is not the job sheet number. How it happens i don't no. The service center people should give the printed job sheet with proper job sheet number. One month frequently i am calling the motorola customer care to slove the issue till now the problem remains same. "multiple mobile care" coimbatore is the authorised service centre which i have been given for the mobile service

                                    Recently bought e4 plus from flipkart. It was meant to be a gift for someone. Found after 13 days that microphone wasn't working when on speaker. Talked to flipkart they didn't help saying return was only with in 10 days, really? Not even 30 days? They asked me to contact motorola, what if motorola does the service/repair and i'm not interested in repair but replacement. As i mentioned earlier it was meant to be gift for someone. Please help

                                      I am sudheer kumar chava from vijayawada, andhra pradesh. I brought moto g4+ on 14th jan 2017 and i have faced a problem with the touch pad of the phone last month. So i gave it to your service center at sitharamapuram, moghalrajpuram, vijayawada, andhra pradesh 520002 on 26th september 2017. But till now they did not rectify my problem. Its been nearly 20 days. I have visited your service center 3 times till now but no use.
                                      You people (Moto) don't have any responsibility on your customers? I am totally frustrated with your service and i will put a complaint against your service if you don't give a proper explanation on my complaint.
