I wrote this mail because of Motorola's pathetic service and ridiculously high repairing charges... My moto x play broke (19, 000 INR) actual price and for repairing they estimated (13, 000 INR) I would rather buy a new phone, and I won't be buying Motorola any more and.Same case with my moto e which cost around 7000 INR and for repairing they estimated 5000 INR really disappointing

    This mail is regarding my frustration and my worst experience with motorola company. Before this incident, i was a follower and loyal customer of motorola but this incident has reciprocated my perception about the company.
    Last year i have purchased one moto e mobile (Sku: xt-1022, imei no: [protected], sr no: zx1b32bhv2) but now it's out of warranty. Few days back i was facing issue with the mobile for hanging problem during booting. I had submitted my mobile for repairing purpose at m/s.Communication solution f26/4, okhla phase-2, new delhi-110020 (An authorize service center of motorola) vide job sheet no: 007 on 2nd of april 2016. They told me that my mobile has a software problem and asked me to come again on april 5th, when i called them on given date they said it will take 10 days more to resolve the software problem.
    I called them again on april 16, 2016 (Saturday) to know the result, and they told me that your mobile is ok now and you may collect it from service center in working days. I went there on april 18, 2016, (Monday) to collect my mobile around 3pm. When i was checking the mobile i found that mobile was not getting on. They told me that mobile battery was discharged completely and you have to wait for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes when i asked them for my mobile, they said it will take 1-2 hours for recharging for first time booting. After two and half hours waiting i asked them to show my phone but they said that my phone is not charging and it has a battery problem. I asked them to boot my phone while it was on charging and i found that they didn’t resolve the problem for which i had submitted my phone in service center even after 14 days. They were not able to tell me what actual problem my phone has. After wasting of my 3 hours in the service center they asked me to come again after 2 days to know what kind of problem exactly my phone has. I spend my valuable time & money without and solution till date. I collected my mobile as it is condition.
    I am very dissatisfied with them due to this behavior. I am not expecting this type of service from motorola as well as i would like to suggest you please hire educated and knowledgeable person in your service center.

      I purschased moto E in March 2015.Had a connectivity issue.so my phone motherboard got replaced after 3 months of struggle. I submittes phone on 14 dec2015 and received my phone on 16 march 2016.
      Not to surprise I started facing same problem and submitted my phone at service on 9th april. However there is no hope of getting before 3 months.

      Now my phone is our of warranty.

      So moto have worst service. Stop buying MOTO Products

        Deeply regret to inform to many time verbally and e-mail thru reminder but still today no respond from your end as per your team member mr. Shaik khaja’s instruction and e-mail we follow we send device at boriwali services center.
        Now you can just understand my problem we are not use device from last 21st january 2016 to till date if you filled some this of brand name of motorola please guide me where is my mistake ? Please explain to me. Because i’m not change world but i can change.

        I have today 3 no of motorola device and 2 no of motorola device problem ( moto g 2 no and moto e 1 no.) if you want device invoice or more details we share you .But you can respond.

          I am a customer of motorola from last 7 months.
          When i buy motorola g3 smart phone from flipkart.
          The main purpose is to buy is that g3 is a water resistant phone.
          It has a unique specification among all the phones.
          So i want to say that, on 19th march when i change my trouser, my phone suddenly fall into the tub which is full of water.
          Then i picked up within 2 to 3 sec. Immediately.
          After some time i saw that my phone sceen is full of water
          My touch pad is not working.
          Then i made a call with another to customer care.
          My phone is under warranty.
          So why should they charged me 4500₹ for this matter.
          Kindly refund my money as my phone is under warranty, as soon as possible

          I buy moto g3 which was heating very badly so i was unsatisfy with this product and this company is very bad like froud
          I have bought a moto x play on 24th January 2016 from flipkart which was recieved on 29th january 2016. IMEI no- [protected]. But within a span of 2 months, battery of the phone got swelled up.I visited to motorola authorized service center B2X Aggarwal City Mall, Pitampura, Delhi on 25th March 2016 and they had accepted that the battery was swelled due to the manufacturing fault and they confirmed to deliver the device within a week after solving the problem of battery vide job number AMSDEH006415 dated 25/03/2016. But after so many visits to service center and telephone conversations I could not get proper response from the service center representative as they did not deliver the phone due to non availability of battery of the device . Even i got a telephonic message from your motorola service center that the phone will be delivered/ repaired by 27th april 2016 . I do not understand why you are taking so much time o resolve the problem and how i will survive myself without the device. Will you extend the warranty for one more month as am wasting 1 month to get this device repaired
          I have not recd any satisfactory response from motorola customer care till date even sent a email on their site on 09.04.16 vide reference number is[protected] and my mobile is still with them for repair.

          I am frustrated due to the poor response from their service representatives and now i am thinking why i purchased this phone. Even i am not going to recommend to buy motorola product.

            I visited the sevice centre today.The problem is that phone is getting hanged and a malfunctioning sim slot.They asked me to pay 350 for new software(I didn't bother about the sim slot since it costs 1550)as service charge even though the phone is in warranty .I argued with them and they came down to 250.Upon severe argument, they told that the warranty is void if the sim slot is malfunctioned.Then i asked for bill for which they told me that if you want bill then you have to pay 350.I warned them about complaining to higher authorities for which they simply replied "go ahead".This is too much and i request you people to take some action against this and make sure that such scenario won't be repeated here after.Thanking you.

                I bought my Moto x play in october last year. It worked fine for the first 3-4 months. In february this year my phone stopped charging. I took it to the service centre in ville parle, mumbai. I received the phone back after 14 days and it was working fine.
                6 days ago however my phone mic stopped working and when i took it to the same service center they tell me that somebody has opened the phone up and damaged/scratched some internal parts near the mic due to which the warranty maybe lost. Besides that same service center nobody has ever opened the phone up.
                When they put the phone back together the engineer has then forgotten to put the side pannel buttons back in place, luckily i was still in ville parle when i realised this and i went back.
                After i reached home (bandra) i put my phone to charge only to realise the initial problem that i went to them for in feb had come back, the incompetent engineers had forgotten to put that new piece called the flux back in so i had to return to ville parle.

                  I submitted my hands free on 13 feb 2016 to my nearest motorola service center i.E. Amblax services situated at vikas marg, shakarpur. I visited the service center 8-9 times after i got msg on my cell phone about collection of handsfree but they always used to give an excuse that they have not received the courier from bangalore ( could u really tell me how is this possible in this so techno fast world that in 2 months they have not received any courier). I called your customer care executive and he told me that the job( job zojjmg1505862) has been closed on your system and when i askd him to escalate my case or to connect me with one of his sr. Customer care executive as he told me he was level 1 customer care executive, he didn't do so. I filed a complaint ( complaint no. [protected]) with your team about this center but it seems like u have no control over the services provided by your authorized service centers. Why you authorized them if you can't even maintain control? Even the head of service center named pratap can't evn manage the employees working there? Truly, very poor service.

                    On August 4, 2015, I ordered for a Motorola 3rd generation phone priced at 12, 999 from Flipkart, Bangalore office. However, the phone worked fine until January, when the phone automatically stopped charging and was dead. I went to the authorized Motorola service centre in Kotla, New Delhi and gave my phone for repairing. These people never told me what the problem was inspite of repeatedly asking and they said that the problem would be solved in 10 days time but they took two and a half months to repair it saying that the card is not coming from the company. When I went to take my phone on March 7, 2016 from the service center it was working fine but again after two days it started flickering and these people had totally messed up with my brightness system as the phone lost it's brightening property. But because I went to Bangalore after that I could not go to the service center in Delhi and thus when I came back after eighteen days, I gave my phone again to the same service center in Kotla where these people said that they will tell me the condition of the phone next day. Now, they are asking me for an amount of 4, 000 INR to repair the phone and they are not ready to take the blame on them they messed up with my phone entirely. I either want my phone to be replaced or my money to be refunded or get it repaired from them without paying them a single penny since it was solely their fault. And if the action is not taken within one week, I would go to the consumer court and lodge a complaint there. For reference, I have attached the invoice that I got from Flipkart below.

                    Very pathetic service and product, I must say. Disappointing!

                    I have somewhat similar problem my Moto G3.My moto actions are not working and also my notification pad doesn't come down and also some problem with navigation keys.I had repaired it once but the same problem has occured.

                    These people still haven't replied to my complaint and thus I am planning to lodge a complaint in consumer court against them. Their phones are very pricey but then when it comes to quality and providing services, they are just hopeless at it.

                      I have a moto x play device, suddenly after 3 months some days its stop charging . then i contact the service center at raipur, for repair.I will put it on 27 februwary 2016 but they cant able to repair this until today 13 april 2016. I called them many times but they dont give any fixed date, i'm very dissatisfied with them due to this behavior. i'm feeling like that "i'm lost my mobile and service center got it on the road, so they r don't giveing it to me ". And your care have also no perfect information about that .There must be a limit of waiting, " r u all are checking my Patience ".So there is any possibility please issue my a new moto x play, because i dont think your service centers are able to repair that .

                        On 13/03/2016, the service centre gave me estimate of rs. 1200.00 and said that
                        Connector has to be replaced and it will take 10 days to repair,
                        But now almost 1 month has passed, the service centre is not replying.
                        They do not accept our phone calls ( nobody lifts the phone)
                        I am unable to know when i will be getting my handset.

                              I have ordered moto g 3 from flipkart. First time when i received the product it was a defective product (touchpad not working). I got it replaced from flipkart. The replaced product was also defective as its internal speaker was not working. It is so disappointing on behalf of Motorolla and flipkart. I had to face a lot of inconvenience and difficulties as mobile has become an indespensable part of one's life today. I want to file a complaint against this and also regarding the moto quality checks.

                                  I am having a mobile handset bearing model Motorola G2 ( 2nd generation ) . Previously I used to transfer my mobile date ( image, video, audio etc.) from my mobile hand set to other device. Or from other device to my above said mobile handset. But on 03/03/2016 I have handed over my mobile handset to nearest service centre i.e. Jamshedpur ( Jharkhand ) due to some speaker problem. But since then there is a problem occured in my mobile phone . And since then I cant transfer my mobile data to other device or receive . But when I went again in the same service centre the concerned engineer advised me that I should use my computer operating system of WINDOWS 7 not other operating system like Windows XP etc. But very sorry that previously I used to transfer my all data from Windows XP. And as per the said engineer it cant possible to transfer data from Windows XP because Motorola always supports upgrade version only.

                                  Sir as per my knowledge an upgraded version does support lower version also.

                                  Sir please look into this matter and give necessary direction to your service engineer about this.

                                  I am residing in a very small city and for any query or sort out any problem regarding mobile I have to move 60 KM through train, bus etc.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I gave my phone to Motorola service center in the city of Surat. Issue in the handset was heating issue and slowness of phone in-spite of multiple reset. They gave my handset back after 2 months with battery and motherboard replaced. The repaired handset I received is in worst physical condition. I reached them again but now they are telling that the Motorola service center has been closed down. I contacted in customer care and mail them about the issue. They are also not in a mood of helping me. They are sending me to different address and from all the address i receive the same answer " Service Center has been shut down."

                                    I also has proof in mail stating that they will extend warranty of the phone to the period my phone remained unrepaired but now they are denying for warranty extension also.

                                    Please Help. My Phone is MOTO X Play.

                                    Today also I went to service center, but as per them my phone will not be considered in warranty and I need to pay for the repair. Just tell me, when I got phone back in such a condition from service center itself then why should I Pay? As per them if something happens in repairing process then it will be my responsibility, I ask WHY? If its my responsibility then why you insists phone should be repaired at authorized service center if they are not able to take repairing responsibility?

                                    Request you to replace my device with extended warranty or now I am going to boom Moto's reputation by social media an taking help of consumer court saying i have been cheated. Because the repaired handset is in worst condition. And sure i can prove that. If you will take my handset in your hand then you will also understand say that handset in such condition should not be given to customer.

                                      Please go through the below issue point wise and please find the attachment of dispatch job sheet along with the device invoice.

                                      1) i have submitted my device motog2 in bangalore - marathalli service centre, as i was facing multiple issues with the device on 15/03/2016. Job no :amsbag009109

                                      2) on 24/03/2016 i was informed that my device is repaired and screen panel has been replaced. On checking the phone i found that the screen full of scratches and cracks, despite it being a new screen, hence i requested the service centre to change the screen as the screen panel is faulty, which was accepted by them, and i was requested to come back later.

                                      A complain was registered by me with motorola support team : ref no :[protected]

                                      3) on 28/03/2016 i was again informed that device has been repaired. When i went to collect the device the issue with the phone still persisted and the service centre accepted it, and gave me a new job number by closing the old one, they informed me that motherboard/pcb needs to be replaced. New job no : amsbag009431, new complain ref no :[protected]

                                      4) on 4/4/2016 i was informed again that device has been repaired. I collected the device around 5pm on 4/4/2016. On collecting the device i found that the device earphone jack was not working properly. I reported the issue to the service centre and they accepted that there was a fault with the earphone jack and the new motherboard was also faulty and needs to be replaced.

                                      They have also given an undertaking to me by mentioning the issue on the dispatch document for the new motherboard being faulty.


                                      I have purchased the device on 23/04/2015 and since then i have been facing multiple issues with the device.(Please check all the complain registered from email id : [protected]@gmail.com).

                                      The motherboard and display panel has been replaced multiple times but still the i am facing issues with device.

                                      I have to constantly visit service centre, and out of 1 year for almost 2 months in total, my device has been kept in service centre.

                                      Since i purchased the device on 23/4/2015, the device is now out of warranty and there is still issue with motherboard despite it being replaced by the service centre recently.

                                      I hence request you to kindly replace my device with a new one or please provide me a refund for the same, since despite submitting it in service centre the some or the other issue still persist and its causing me harassment by frequently visiting the service centre and chasing it up with customer care executive.

                                        Sir, this is a request from the user being part of the Moto world since the last two years.My first phone is the Moto X2and second one is the Moto X Play and all my circle involves lots of mobiles only of Motorola. My problem is all about the battery drain as I am facing since last update has been made.please make sure to fix up this bug as soon as possible as my fone is not working upto the given MAH.Thank you for giving mee this opportunity to share my view.Hope you will understand my concern
