I purchased the MTS post paid Data Card bearing No. [protected] from MTS show room
at Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar District, Tamilnadu. Till December 2014, I have used the
Data card but not used the full capacity of the Data since there were many problems in
the network connection. In spite of my repeated complaints, the network was not set right
and your representatives either called me during my office hours or during my travel as I
am an Executive Officer in an Government department. At this juncture, I took a decision
to surrender my Data Card after making payment of Rs.1156/- for the month of
December 2014. I informed my decision to your representatives who called me regarding
the complaint of network, explained the fact of network failure and hence, the surrender
of Data Card. But they gave me fake promises that I can get the uninterrupted network
immediately after closing their call as they have updated the software. But they didn’t do
anything to solve my problem and if I make further complaint, they told me to approach
the nearest MTS show room with the Data Card. When I approached the nearest MTS
show room in Trichy, they told me that the software updation should be done by the
technical wing only and we can’t do anything in this regard. After that When I was called
by your representative regarding this complaint, I told them that I no more need your
Data Card and I will switch over to other company’s net connection. During this process
itself, I paid the amount of Rs.1156/- for December 2014 on 19.01.2015 and conveyed
my decision of surrender to the MTS show room at Thanjavur.
But, now two months after my surrender of Data Card, I received continuous
mails from your legal cell (Advocate - Mr.Veera) for MTS overdue of Rs.2292/- and legal
proceedings threatening me by taking legal action against me to recover the above said
outstanding amount from me with the cost and consequences arising thereof. I paid the
appropriate amount in time for what I have used. The usage of Data Card for the past
three months can now itself be verified from your end. Without using the Data Card since
from January 2015, how can I pay for about Rs.2292/- for two months?
As I am fully distressed on the continuous threatening mails to my
mail id and SMS to my mobile, I can’t focus on my official works. I hereby sturdily
confirm that I don’t want your Data Card further more and no more intimation of
bills or anything should be from your end.
