We had placed an order with MyFlowerGift.com for Rakhi order on Rakhi on 20th August, order # 6077. While placing the order we had taken a confirmation that the order will be received by the recipient by next day i.e. the day after the order was placed. The same instructions were given in writing also in the website saying that if the order is not received the on the day, the order will be considered cancelled and full money will be refunded. Needless to say that order was not received. After enquiring about it, we got one line reply on Aug 24th that the "order was received by the mother of receiver". The mother of receiver, in fact, was not even present at the address in Ludhiana as she had gone to Delhi. The same was conveyed to the company on August 28th via email. No reply was given. On 29th Aug, again I called and emailed and asked for the proof of receipt, i.e. the signature of the receipient, no reply was given. After that I called on Sept 2nd, first my phone wasn't received, then after 3-4 repeated calls, somebody picked up the phone. After I had informed them of my plight, the person on the other end just hung up and didn't pick up the phone again. An email to this regard was again sent to them on Sept 2nd for which no reply was given. .
I believe the company should return all our money plus Rs. 10,000 as punitive damages for the loss of face we had to suffer in front of my Wife's family, also so that they may not do this to any other person.
