I have made purchase at myntra during exchange item campaign. I bought a product which was for 493/- that was after the discount against exchange products for which i earned 63 loyalty points and also paid 578 to. The vendor who came to deliver the product (As it was a cod item). Also i gave away 3 clothes as per the exchange program for loyalty points.
However, the product received did not have the right fit and i chose to return the product. However when i raised the request, i got a message that only 493 will be refunded to me as 149 for delivery is non-refundable. But when the return was processed i received just 429/-. I tried contacting the customer care they said we cannot refund the loyalty point and you will get only 429 back. Also when i asked them for the return of my exchange item, i was told that we have donated it to charity and you cannot get it back, in fact the telephone attendant told me that you are not asked for these products back (Is it... Who decides that?? Only i can decide if i want to give it or not). As the loyalty points for exchange is not valid then items should also not be valid. It is not a question of these points, it is about the lack of transparency by this portal and also for the customer's right. You cannot forcefully ask the customer for donation, it should be as per we their wish. Also if we have bought a product during a scheme and there is an issue with the product, as a seller, it it their duty. Also in case we return the product, they need to refund at least the correct product cost. Otherwise these things should be clearly mentioned in the terms and condition. Hence this is my request to get the correct refund amount or return the products given for exchange, as i am entitled to receive it. Kindly do the needful.
