Last year, i enrolled under national insurance for my 2 wheeler- Splender Pro Plus ( Self Start) bearing no DL 11 SB-3263 by Policy Number[protected]. But on 19th November 2015 I tried online renewal, but at site it demands for 20 digit Policy number but i am provided 18 digit policy number ( above mentioned) as per policy bind provided. i approach NIC, from there i got cell number of Mr. Vishal Jain ( [protected]). He send me the link for online renewal. At 14:26 hrs i tried online renewal through HDFC credit card-[protected] of Rs. 857. The same amount was deducted from my card, payment was successful but policy was not generated.Till today i am approaching Mr. Vishal Jain but there is no proper reply from him. My transaction ID is EASI[protected] Online complaint ID is[protected]

      I had an existing policy from NIC (National Insurance COmpany). On 17-Oct-2015, I tried to renew my policy online as it was about to expire in few days. The website clearly provided a link to "To Renew your policy online" with the weblink URL - https://nationalinsuranceindia.nic.co.in/portal/page/portal/Corporate/Home/Renew...

      I submitted my policy number and entered the code it asked and submitted. It took all the details, and I made the payment online thru netbanking (Corp Bank). The money is deducted from bank account but finally the renewed policy is not generated. It gave a page where some random ref num is given but no policy details. I immediately called up the customer care on 17-Oct-2015 and mentioned about the problem. The customer care refuse to accept that there is a link of such sort in their website and claim that there is no link to renew online. They even refuse to accept that the money was debited from my account and credited to their company.

      The customer care clearly said that THERE IS NO POLICY GENERATED.

      I am not sure whether the customer care representative did not had the knowledge or is it the approach taken by NIC to cheat customers. I sent a MAIL also complaining of this problem and there is no response at all. I had to look at alternate vendors and got my policy renewed immediately.

      Now the funny and scary second part of this -
      After about 18 days, on 04-NOV-15 one lady by name SHIVANI NEGI ([protected]@hcl.com) called up and said that she is from customer care of NIC via HCL team and enquired about my problem. I clearly told her that

      * The money was deducted
      * Policy not genereted
      * I got a new policy renewed from a different insurance company and that I need my money back

      She asked me to send a snapshot of the bank transaction and I sent a mail with the details. Now, instead of giving me a refund of money, she created a new policy in NIC and trying to rub it onto me. I clearly said during the first call itself that I have a policy from a different insurance company as there was no response from NIC and that I need my money back. Despite all that info, I still got a new policy only.

      I immediately responded saying that I do not need this policy and that I already have one and need my money back. Then funnily, the lady says that the customer should cancel the new policy as it was created by customer.

      Its shocking. First time when I contact customer care, they clearly say that there is NO POLICY generated. This second lady says that the policy is generated by me and that I should cancel it.

      I sent a mail to SHIVANI copying the customer care of NIC (support.[protected]@nic.co.in).

      Even till date there is no response from SHIVANI or from NIC on this.

      Summary of the story: NIC is only interested in making new policies and taking money from customer but dont care about customer support. I would let you take a decision on whether to goto NIC for any insurance policy again.

        Process for getting the repairs of the car Zen Estillo PB 10 CF 1110 initiated at the service centre Punjab Motors Bharat Nagar chowk Ludhiana one of the authorized maruti dealers. But no repairs were got done & no claim was filed. The dealer was told clearly not to proceed. Despite no claim no-claim-bonus has not been offered.           Today i was discharged from Fortis Hospital Vashi after having a Operation . the Insurance Coordinator in the hospital sent the CLAIM amount of (1, 83, 004 INR) t0 DHS but the approved amount was only (97, 000). when checked with DHS HO CASHLESS Department no any responce .but it was still not clear why was the amount deducted for claim of (83, 004). DHS Cashless department wants us
          to check with the Hospital and the Hospital team wants us to check with the Insurance (DHS). & my parents were asked to pay the amount of approx (83, 0004INR)This experience was totally unsatisfactory and NON reliable as a customer & Patient.

          please take action against this fraud company .

            The complain is against a Delhi/ Kolkata based Insurance company registered with Reliance Digital in Hyderabad. Inspite of providing with all the bills and information, I am not getting the insured amount of 10, 000 for my mobile as the screen broke. Kindly help me.

UP-41-V-5261) to barabanki hero service centre & also approach for claim under the said policy, but your Surveyor of barabanki Mr. Bhanu's lack lusture approach take 5 days but i not get the claim amount till date & talking over telephone with him he said" aap kaun hote hain mujhe kahne wale, mere pas time aaunga tb aaunga" & also he talk very ruedly. I want to now how much time take to take a photograph & complete the calim. It is presume that your company take very seriously in this matter. Mob no. [protected].

                Subject:fire claim against national insurance company ltd.

                Dear sir / madam,
                1. This is a case against national insurance company ltd.
                2. I am a cloth merchant trader, i have claimed to the national insurance company as i have insurance of my shop.
                3. On 6 / 4 / 2012 early morning in kolkata there was heavy rainfall and so there was short circuit in electric meter in burrabazar (Gandhi katra) .
                4. The electric meter of all the shops were installed on our shop wall so due to rainfall fire took place.
                5. Fire brigade and police had come, they did their job and went away.
                6. Fire occurred at 8:00 am and all the police man and fire extinguisher went till 10:30 am. It was raining so heavily that by the time we could reach there they had gone.
                7. But afterwards when we opened the shutter of our shop we saw that all are goods had turned black in colour and goods near the wall had been totally destroyed.
                8. The national insurance company had sent a surveyor.
                9. Whatever documents the surveyor asked for, we had submitted all of them.
                10. The surveyor was aged, so before submitting the documents to the company he expired fortunately.
                11. Since the year 2012 i am writing this letter to them but they are giving no reply.
                12. We have submitted all the documents asked by them but everyday they are asking for new documents.
                13. We are sending letters but still they are not concerned for replying.
                14. The national insurance company are telling to bring the fire brigade report. I had applied for tr form7. But fire brigade persons are telling we have already made the report. We told to fire brigade person when we opened the shutter of our shop we found damage incurred due to short circuit.
                15. National insurance company have stuck to the above point.
                16. I am sending all the attachments including the letters written by them and us.
                17. This article was published in sanmarg newspaper, kolkata.
                18. Our head office is in ahmedabad and branch office is in kolkata.

                      I have taken Accidental claim policy from National Insurance Company. You are so religious and so prompt when it come to collecting instalments. I even receive reminder calls and personal visit from Agent. However, when in all these years (3-4), I claimed for an accidental claim for the first time, there was no customer assistance at all. For the claim, I need to follow up with the agent but I did not any customer friendly response. And, finally you have closed the claim file without the agent even calling once and providing any valid reason.

                        I got my above policy renewed from your office on 3rd. June 2015 and paid an amount of Rs.10125/- through cheque No. 3309809 dated 2nd. June 2015 drawn on union Bank Of India NIT Faridabad and the same has been encashed. But it is a matter of concern that till date I have not received the Policy Document. Respected Sir, With regards, it is deplorable that after submitting all the detailed documents about my mediclaim, I am asked every now and then unnecessarily about the same documents already sent to them. Thus, I find it not possible to perceive the official dealing with the case without the presence of knowledge about the true subject. The official seems to be unpredictable. Obviously, the attempts made are to humiliate and harass and finally to make me to capitulate. It is pertinent to mention here this whole issue would have not erupted had not company cheated in its booklet mentioning the names of hospitals for cashless services and then backing out at the eleventh hour. I am bemused the way the company is cheating the customers and leaving them in lurch. Neverthess, I earnestly ask the authorities to expedite the expenses incurred on my mediclaim immediately or I may be impelled to proceed to press media and legal procedures for cheating, humiliating and harassment on the part of the company.                             This is in regard to claim of insurance of Yansh Vithal with park Id[protected] policy no 406031/50/14/[protected]national insurance) We have called several times for getting the claim approved but all we get are excuses in return. national insurance company claims claim approval period to be 15 days, it sounds more like a false commitment from your side as it has been 55 days that our claim approval is still in process.and re investigation This is proving to be harassment for us.                                 Now as per my telephonic discussion with mr.Gaur and mr.Ashok kumar agarwal they says that they have couriered the policy through courier.
                                Till date i have not received the policy and facing lot of problems from treffic police due to this. Please arrange to send me the insurance policy through reputed courier. Also let me know the name of courrier and docket no.

                                  My Mother Mrs Ratna Banerjee, is a long time policy holder of National Insurance Company(now a senior citizen of 73 years) and been availing Sampoorna Arogya Bima Policy for last few years with an enhanced cover of Rs 5, 00, 000 against a last year premium paid of Rs 9938(premium Rs 8845, service tax 1061, education cess Rs 32).We had paid her last premium under the policy on 17th February 2014 at India Exchange Place Branch in Kolkata.

                                  When I called up the branch from Mumbai today for information required on the renewal premium for 2015-16, I was shocked to know that this policy have been discontinued and I was suggested to avail Surksha Policy/Individual Mediclaim Policy.We have got no prior intimation on this from National Insurance Company. Further, I came to know that under individual mediclaim policy to be applicable to my mother policy premium will be at least 2 1/2 times of existing premium and that too may be with a lesser cover.

                                  What is the remedy for this unjust treatment in hand of the National insurer?

                                  What legislation allows them to discontinue existing mediclaim plans?

POLICY IS DONE BY SK PUMMA.THE AGENT HAS DONE THE POLICY WITHOUT ASKING US ABOUT ANY PREVIOUS CLAIM AND HE DID NOT TELL US ABOUT PROBLEMS RELATED TO CLAIMS.HE HAS DONE POLICY FROM MY FATHER S.ARJAN SINGH.SIR MY FATHER IS ILLITERATE.THE AGENT SK PUMMA HAS ALSO DONE THE POLICY WITHOUT CHECKING PREVIOUS POLICY STATUS..HE JUST ASK MY FATHER TO GIVE MONEY AND HE GIVE MONEY.WE DONT KNOW ABOUT ANY CLAIM.THEN OUR CAR GOT BURNT ON 2 AUGUST, 2014 AT PHILLAUR.THEN WE IMMEDIATELY CALLED OUR AGENT AND ASKED FOR CLAIM.IT HAS BEEN 6 MONTHS NOW.THE BRANCH OFFICE PHAGWARA KEEP ON ASKING US FOR DOCUMENTS AND WE PROVIDED ALL DOCUMENTS.NOW COMPANY HAS ISSUED US THAT UR CLAIM IS REPUDIATED.SIR OUR LOAN OF CAR FROM HDFC BANK IS STILL STANDING.THE BANK IS PRESSURISING US FOR PAYMENT OF LOAN AND SENDING US LEGAL NOTICES.WE HAVE NO SOURCE OF PAYING LOAN OTHER THAN CLAIM.PLEASE HELP US IN RECEIVING THE CLAIM AS WE ARE IN VERY MUCH TROUBLE.IT IS UR AGENTS AND COMPANY’S FAULT.HE JUST DO THE POLICY WITHOUT CHECKING STATUS OF PREVIOUS POLICY.ALSO BEFORE GENERATING POLICY THE COMPANY CHECKS AND VERIFIES ANY NCB IN PREVIOUS POLICY AS ALL SYSTEM IS ONLINE TODAY.EVERY POLICY RECORD CAN BE CHECKED ONLINE.SO ITS AGENT AND COMPANY'S FAULT.SIR WE NEED OUR CLAIM AS OUR CAR IS TOTALLY LOST.PLEASE HELP US IN GETTING OUR CLAIM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.WE ARE IN TROUBLE ONLY BECAUSE OF AGENT SK PUMMA AND PHAGWARA BRANCH OFFICE
