    I renewed the insurance policy for my bike online last year. It has expired and so I am trying to get a new one for which I need the old policy document. I have the policy number but not the document. NIC has not been able to provide me the document, when I contacted the customer care they told me to go to the office. When I went to the local office they told me they can't extract the information from their system. I can't believe that I have the policy number (National insurance only) but they can't provide me a document from that. And they are also not ready to provide me No-Claim bonus because I don't have the document. I have been a NIC customer for almost 10 years now and they are can't even provide such basic information.

      My wife and I have made a proposal for issue of Varistha policy through Medimanage Mumbai .requeted that medical be avoided as I am a continuous holder of Royal Sundaram policy for past three years. This is as per their policy rules. However they are saying that proposal should be made 15 days before expiry of existing Royal Sundaram policy. I am asking for the Varishta policy as I wish to increase the cover . But policy is being declined for no reason. Kevin Correa

          R/Sir, I have purchased one PFA gold policy from national insurance company in the year 2009 in the name of my parent the policy was valid up to 2010 but in between the validity period the company has cancelled the policy without giving notice to the policy holder. i have writeen many letters to the company for knowing reason but no reply has been given by the company. getting frusted i have posted on line grievance, the company replied that matter is subjudice on the ground of cancellation hence we cant help. I have than send mail to chairman shri A V Girijakumar but no reply was given to me . I again posted on line grievance but again company has sent me the same reply which they have given me on earlier grievance. sir i have paid primium to the company having faith but the company with some vested interest cancelled the policy and now refusing the refund . it is requested that kindly instruct the company to immidiately refund the premium on policy no3019900/46/08/[protected].

            National Insurance Company is basically a Chor (Thief) company. My name is Rajana Singh. I live in
            Sudama Nagar, Indore . I bought a car in Indore. IDV is Rs. 7 lakhs. I got my car insured from
            Manoramaganj office, near Gita Bhawan of National Insurance Company.
            Meri car December 2013 mein chori ho gai. Abhi tak saale insurance waalo ne paisa nahi diya hai.
            Insurance office jaata hoon to saale ye bolate hain ki paisa jaldi hi de denge. Manoramaganj office ke to
            do karamchari saale, mere se 20000/ rupaya maang rahe the 6 lakh ka claim pass karane ke khatir.
            Mere ko to lagata hai ki ye saale ek baap ki aulad hi nahi hain. In saalon ke kai baap honge.
            In saalon ko koi asar hi nahi padata bolane ka jaise ### par koi asar nahin padata ki kaun usake saath soya. Ye sab gutter ki paidaish hain. Sadela tamatar hain.

            Abhi tak bahenchod chutiye saale mera 6 laakh ka car claim nahi diye hain. Saale bol rahe the ki commision womission khilao tab claim denge. Agar ye saale ek baap ki aulad hai to Rajana Singh ke Sudamanagar
            waale ghar par aa jao. Wahin par tum logon ki paint gili kar dunga aur tum logon ke pichwaade ka lathi se
            maar maarkar chatani bana doonga. Rajana naam hai mera Raajana.

            Mai to yehi bolunga ki National Insurance Company se insurance nahi lene ka. Ye sab saale chotte hain.
            In saalon ki sadeli gaand faad dene ka.

              I had been making the Mediclaim Policy since 2005 without any claim.I had been making the Mediclaim Policy every year without fail so that I will get the claim when I will make one.INow when I applied for a claim for my Medical checkup, the following comment was given by your Divisional Office-163200. "Last policy period was from 31.03.2013 to 30.03.2014.Re imbursement of expenses will be paid only after 30.03.2014. But the medical check up was done from 01.12.2013 to 04.02.2014 which is before the expiry of policy period. Re imbursement of medical expenses is permissible only after expiry of four claim free plicy period. so this claim is not entertainable.Last policy period was from 31.03.2013 to 30.03.2014.Re imbursement of expenses will be paid only after 30.03.2014. But the medical check up was done from 01.12.2013 to 04.02.2014 which is before the expiry of policy period. Re imbursement of medical expenses is permissible only after expiry of four claim free policy period. so this claim is not entertainable." Prior to Bhubaneswar, I was at Meerut, UP and used to make the policy there.The last Policy made at Meerut, UP was in 2009 vide Policy No-460707/ 48/ 08/ [protected] with expiry date on[protected]. There after I am making the Policy at your Bhubaneswar, Divisional Office-163200. The Mediclaim Policy vide clause No-8, Cost of Health Check-up says that cost of Medical Checkup is reimbursed at the end of block of four claim free years with NICL irrespective of place where policy is made.                 I took the above policy (PARIVAR MEDICLAIM) for my family thro' their agent here at Changanacherry and paid their charges (Rs. 10, 693/-) on 11th February 2014. At that time the agent told that I will receive the policy documents within 1 month. (ie. on or before 12th March 2014). Today is 6th june 2014. Almost 4 months have elapsed since I paid for the insurance. When I contacted the agent, they are simply telling you'll receive the documents very soon.                     Dear Sir, I had to apply for an accidental claim for my car as my car got hit in Delhi on 07 Mar 14.I got my car repaired from Volkswagen workshop, Delhi and my policy is from National Insurance Company, Jamnagar. I received my car from the service center on 21 Mar 14 and it took more than a month for the company to settle my claim on 05 May 14. I had to personally run behind all concerned officials of the company to get the documentation done. I also dealt with Mr Chitroda who is looking after NIC branch in Jamnagar but his response was very negative. He asked me to submit documents on piecemeal basis and even after submitting all the documents by me, he was not willing to release the payment.I also lodged the complaint on grievance forum of the company but the matter was not resolved.I request you to kindly guide me for taking strict action against the concerned.                       Respected Sir, With due respect I want to say that, I have already file the complaint against division manager Mr S.K Jain regarding his rude attitude and misbehave to National Insurance Company Ltd. but after completion of 3 months of my complaint there is no necessary action taken by the company. I am very regret with National Insurance Company due to this reason, I am complaining against these points. This is my humble request please my mediclaim and take necessary action against division manager Mr. S.K. Jain ( 71. Zone-2. M.P. Nagar, Bhopal) . I will be thank full to you thanks again for your cooperation. Thanks Point to be Noted- 1. Six month ago I wrote application to division manager regarding my policy details but he didn’t give any information and when I met him personally & asked my UIN No than he misbehave with me . I don’t know why company is hiding UIN No. 2. I have file complaint against division manager regarding his careless and rude attitude. Why company is not taking any action against him? 3. Company is giving only one reason for cancellation my claim that is there is no coverage for pregnancy. But when earlier I asked manager for regarding this matter through application he didn’t give any answerer to my letter.                         My car policy is from below address :
                        "National Insurance Ltd,
                        43 Jeewan Bhawan, Hajratganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Pin : 226001".

                        I have claimed amount against the insurance policy in Noida in car service center as "Rohan Motors, C-9, Sec-1, Noida" in the month of february. Mr Amit who is surveyor and survey my car recieved all amounts which are necessary. I have completed all formalities but till i did not get my claim amount.
                        Surveyor told me that your final reports has been dispathched from "National Insurance, Delhi Regional Office 2" to your luncknow adrress. but from lucknow address i did not get any response.

                        Sir, Its my humble request you to please let me know why i am not getting my claim.

                          My bike was stolen on 21.3.2012 and a complaint was given to the Police and who flashed the V.T message in their network immediately on 21.3.2012 but they not register the FIR on the same day with the plea that we wait for 6-7 days as sometimes the stolen vehicles are found here and there after 6-7 days. In the meantime on 22/23.3.2012, I visited the Insurance company office to inform about the theft of my vehicle but someone official in the office told me that intimation about theft should accompany the copy of FIR. Hence, after my daily visit/request to the police statioin, the police authorities registerd my complaint vide FIR No. 317 dated 31.3.2012 and i could got the copy of FIR on 3.4.2012. I again visited the Insurance office on 4.4.2012 alongwith the copy of FIR to lodge my claim/intimation. After, the official told me that the case will be settled when the copy of court untraced report will submitted by you, then after a long wait i could got the court untraced report on 2.4.2013 and submitted by me in insurance office on same day. I submitted all the proof i.e. FIR copy, V.T message report, and untraced report of court. Yet the insurance company refuse to claim and give me the letter of repudiatioin 18.6.2013 with the telling me that your case will be settled by court. Till the day my case was not settled. I suffered financial hardship and mental agony also in the matter of above. In view of the above, please settled the case at the earliest. Thanking you Documents Attached 1. Copy of FIR 2.                             Dear Sir/Mam, I am a claimant against my stolen bike ( RJ 05/SH-1122) theft on 20.09.2013. After this incident, I informed to Insurance office and later start the whole process to file application for Insurance claim. In this process of application, I visited so many times the insurance office due to lack of proper knowledge of office personnel who intermittently asked the required documents for claiming the claim. Now, on 3rd February, 2014 all the essentials documents have been submitted by me as per the office requirement and the dealing hand said that your file is completed; it only required Branch Manager Signature which has not done yet on 13.02.2014. This whole process took my vital time and got sucked me. You are requested to look into this matter to speed up the work process and help me to get cleared the claim amount. The whopping time is 4 months 23 days already lapsed. If the claim is not cleared in timely manner, the second complain will be sent to IRDA and other concerned agency.                               I gave the written exam on the mentioned date, but now notice says that the exam will reoccur in december month, which is not likely to me as i can not give the exam again. Please help me get my money back which i submitted in lieu of 8th sept exam, as NICL stands it as invalid test now after 2 months of period.                                 I had renewed BarodaHealth Mediclaim Policy for the 6th year on 7th December, 2012 by making payment to Bank of Baroda and the amount was debited on 7th by Bank of Baroda and my policy was due for renewal on 12th December, 2012 but on receipt of the policy I got the shock that the policy has been renewed only from 28th December, 2012 instead of 12th December, 2012, my due date and so I went to their office i.e. Division No. 15 at 3rd Floor Sterling Cinema building, Mumbai 400001 and where I met one Mr. G.V.Singh, who is the concerned official for Barodahealth mediclaim policies, and he told me that 15days is the regular grace period allowed for renewal of above policies but renewals even after these 15 days we do not object for payment of any claims but when I lodged my claim on 5th July, 2013, the same was rejected by the company saying that the policy is in its 1st year and the claim for cataract operation is not payable and on making re-presentation and personal visits to the above division and the regional office the claim was paid but now I am asking for changing the date of renewal of my policy since I do not want any break in the policy for future claims but the company is refusing to do so saying that since they had received the renewal cheque from Bank of Baroda late and hence I am not entitled to renewal from the renewal date i.e. 12th December, 2012 and hence I want to know how can the Insurance company do so since my account was debited by Bank of Baroda on 7th December 2012 itself and I have given them proof of it and a explanatory letter fromBank of Baroda for delay on part of the Bank of Baroda in forwaring my premium late. As per my opinion since the amount was debited by the Bank on 7th December, 2012 I am not resposible for the late renewal and the Insurance company is bound to renew it in time i.e. w.e.f. 12th december, 2012 without break. The company told me that the cheque and renewal form was received by them only on 26th December, 2013 and they renewed it only on 28th December, 2012 i.e. 2 days later than the condonable period of 15 days after the last date of policy. Even if the policy would have been renewed on 26th December, 2013 and still the policy would have been in continuity and hence I feel that it is done with full intention so that claims can be rejected. They were saying that generally they renew it from the same day of receipt of premium and renewal form from Bank of Baroda . Hope you will take up the matter with the National Insurance Company Limited and help me out. Kind regards Namrata Vazirani

                                    Hello Sir/Madam, My Name is Prashant Kumar, resident Hamirpur (Uttar Pradesh) City got my car insured from National Insurance Co. in April '13 under policy no:- 450504/31/13/[protected]. I met with a small accident in Hamirpur in may '13 in which my car side got damaged which were corrected with my Insurance policy. I have paid the amount of Rs.13275/- for the repair of the damages of my car to the company. But till date, claim charges are not being credited into my account by National Insurance Co., though the insurance surveyor Mr. Anil Mishra ([protected]) from kanpur verified the same in Kanpur and reffered my claim file for further processing. I don't know where it is pending from last 3 months. After two month when i did not get any refund from the company then i call to the surveyor to know the reason for delay them he told me that due to his personal reason he did not submit the file yet and he will be submit the file. I asked him to submit the file and now when i called him again after 15 days than he asked another reason for delay that he did not get the cheque from the office and i need to go to the insurance office and see the status. I am really shocked with the attitude of the surveyor . Kindly get my issue solved on urgent basis as my money is stucked from last 3 months.                                       I claimed for insurance amount in 01/03/2013. But till today i have not received amount. for first 4 month they were saying surveyor not given report, when i follow up with surveyor gave them report, now since then they said We need your NO CLAIM CERTIFICATE from previous insurance company( When i took insurance they gave me NO CLAIM BONUS, if they gave me bonus that means they checked with my previous insurer company) Still i submitted certificate to them. Now since last 1 month they are saying we are not getting your certificate, provide again that certificate. Till when i should visit office for my claim money
                                      Hi I had a similar problem and there is this independent advisory named AVS consultants run by one Mr srinivasan who helped us out. You can try contacting them for assistance. [protected] . he service is good and the charges are reasonable.

                                        My Motorbike was insured by National Insurance. 30th Aug '2012 I lost my bike and followed the process of complaints and intimated to National Insurance. Since Nov 2012 my claim process has started and till now its going on like hell. I launched complaint at Noida office of company and then i was assigned Jhandewalan branch for claim. Then my process went like this:
                                        1. I made around 12-15 visits till now for fulfilling their requirements. Rarely anybody picks the call so most of the time I need to visit
                                        2. There is no such set procedure which can be given to us so that all the requirements can be automated or can be fullfilled in few visits
                                        3. Initially an officer Mr. Kundu was handling my papers to whom I submitted some docs as per their requirement. For that I already made 4-5 visits
                                        4. He got transferred and when I visited again, the new officer Mr. Ramkishan told that papers are not complete and I need to resubmit the papers.
                                        5. And everytime I visit with the required papers, I am getting a new requirement from their side. And process is still on.
                                        6. For my late intimation I have already agreed on their deduction, but still i am struggling with the company.
                                        There is no service provided by company for documents fulfillment. I need to visit various departments many times, paying various fees and lost too much amount in visits to submit papers to National Insurance. I didnt get this was Insurance or Harassment. Please suggest how to get rid of this.
                                        National insurance is really pathetic....

                                        I got my policy renewed from berklay auto.PANCHKULA.They charged my car,s value for one year back.Iwas forced to pay Rs.400 extra as premium.I paid Rs3633/insted of Rs 3200 app.THe company is offering me a free service coupen in lieu now. UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICE.

                                        National Insurance — Limited Work hours(mon-fri)10 am -5 pm

                                        As this is a govt. India undertaking, the working days from Mon- Fri day and 10 am to 5 PM is not convenient for working employees. even in that 1 to 2 is lunch hours. it should be extended to Saturday or timing should be revised.
