Hello Sir/Madam, My Name is Prashant Kumar, resident Hamirpur (Uttar Pradesh) City got my car insured from National Insurance Co. in April '13 under policy no:- 450504/31/13/[protected]. I met with a small accident in Hamirpur in may '13 in which my car side got damaged which were corrected with my Insurance policy. I have paid the amount of Rs.13275/- for the repair of the damages of my car to the company. But till date, claim charges are not being credited into my account by National Insurance Co., though the insurance surveyor Mr. Anil Mishra ([protected]) from kanpur verified the same in Kanpur and reffered my claim file for further processing. I don't know where it is pending from last 3 months. After two month when i did not get any refund from the company then i call to the surveyor to know the reason for delay them he told me that due to his personal reason he did not submit the file yet and he will be submit the file. I asked him to submit the file and now when i called him again after 15 days than he asked another reason for delay that he did not get the cheque from the office and i need to go to the insurance office and see the status. I am really shocked with the attitude of the surveyor . Kindly get my issue solved on urgent basis as my money is stucked from last 3 months.     I claimed for insurance amount in 01/03/2013. But till today i have not received amount. for first 4 month they were saying surveyor not given report, when i follow up with surveyor gave them report, now since then they said We need your NO CLAIM CERTIFICATE from previous insurance company( When i took insurance they gave me NO CLAIM BONUS, if they gave me bonus that means they checked with my previous insurer company) Still i submitted certificate to them. Now since last 1 month they are saying we are not getting your certificate, provide again that certificate. Till when i should visit office for my claim money
    Hi I had a similar problem and there is this independent advisory named AVS consultants run by one Mr srinivasan who helped us out. You can try contacting them for assistance. [protected] . he service is good and the charges are reasonable.

      My Motorbike was insured by National Insurance. 30th Aug '2012 I lost my bike and followed the process of complaints and intimated to National Insurance. Since Nov 2012 my claim process has started and till now its going on like hell. I launched complaint at Noida office of company and then i was assigned Jhandewalan branch for claim. Then my process went like this:
      1. I made around 12-15 visits till now for fulfilling their requirements. Rarely anybody picks the call so most of the time I need to visit
      2. There is no such set procedure which can be given to us so that all the requirements can be automated or can be fullfilled in few visits
      3. Initially an officer Mr. Kundu was handling my papers to whom I submitted some docs as per their requirement. For that I already made 4-5 visits
      4. He got transferred and when I visited again, the new officer Mr. Ramkishan told that papers are not complete and I need to resubmit the papers.
      5. And everytime I visit with the required papers, I am getting a new requirement from their side. And process is still on.
      6. For my late intimation I have already agreed on their deduction, but still i am struggling with the company.
      There is no service provided by company for documents fulfillment. I need to visit various departments many times, paying various fees and lost too much amount in visits to submit papers to National Insurance. I didnt get this was Insurance or Harassment. Please suggest how to get rid of this.
      National insurance is really pathetic....

      National Insurance — non proper idv

      I got my policy renewed from berklay auto.PANCHKULA.They charged my car,s value for one year back.Iwas forced to pay Rs.400 extra as premium.I paid Rs3633/insted of Rs 3200 app.THe company is offering me a free service coupen in lieu now. UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICE.

      Dear sir,
      I would like to inform you that I am Satish Verma I lost my original insurance copy of my motorcycle please send me another copy of insurance, i will be thankful to you.

      National Insurance — Limited Work hours(mon-fri)10 am -5 pm

      As this is a govt. India undertaking, the working days from Mon- Fri day and 10 am to 5 PM is not convenient for working employees. even in that 1 to 2 is lunch hours. it should be extended to Saturday or timing should be revised.

        Sir,

        I ported my policy from ICICI Lombard to National Insurance Company Ltd. under policy no. 361700/48/12/[protected] about 5 months back... But I did not recieved any kind of information or I-cards regarding my policy due to which I am unable to get any of the facility... I send them 1000s of mails but I recieved no replies. I contacted agent whose agent code was 715 (Name : Rajeev K. Jain) but he also responded me properly.... I am very much depressed of it... Please help me regarding this issue as soon as possible...

          Hi All,

          I have took policy from National Insurance Company Limited Dated on 25/08/2012.

          Policy No :- 370100/48/12/[protected]

          I have not recived the cards through which i can get cash less medical facility since inseption of the policy.

          I called them on call center many times but they are not picking the call. I also mailed them many times for the same.
          Whenever they pick up my call they say their software not working.

          This is the condition of there services i dont know what is gonna happen If i file for complaint.

            Dear Sir,

            This is regarding the Communication from National insurance company Fatehabad dated 12th dec 2012

            The Car (Maruti 800 registration no hr22c2070) which is in name of my wife Vandana got stolen on 6th Au12 from Gurgaon which was parked in front of my house the FIR was lodged same day.
            For claim settlement i submitted all the documents at the Division office Gurgaon Sec 31 on 13th Aug 2012. I received a communication from Fatehabad office stating that my claim is rejected as i did not informed the Insurance company on time. The reason why it got delayed for 7 days was due to the health problem as i was down with sever high temp fever during that time and Insurance company never intimated regarding this regulation. There is no such regulation/statement mentioned in the policy document stating that the customer has to report to the Insurance company with in 24 hrs.

            Even i checked with the Branch Manager of Gurgaon office at Sec-31, they are settling the claims even after the intimation of 30 days.


            As i logged the FIR in the nearest PS which is at Sec -40 on the same day of theft which is 6th Aug 2012 please take this into consideration and help me getting the claim settled.

              Greetings of the day!!!
              My Mother, Mrs. Neelam Bakshi, is enjoying the insurance cover from Oriental Insurance as per details under mentioned:-
              Year Policy Number Assured Amount
              08-09 222200/48/2009/140 Rs.2,00,000/-
              09-10 222200/48/2009/161 Rs.3,00,000/- 10-11 222200/48/2009/233 Rs.3,00,000/- 11-12 222200/48/2009/134 Rs.3,50,000/- 12-13 222200/48/2009/399 Rs.3,50,000/-
              She was admitted in Regency Hospital on 24/12/12 for the Total Knee Replacement, with the due information to the TPA (E Meditek). The pre approval of the claim was approx 3,30,000/-, as informed to us by the hospital. Later after 2-3 days the hospital informed us that the TPA has approved Rs.2,00,000/- only with the comment of Limit Exhaust.
              Upon calling the TPA, we were informed the amount of the claim will only be as per the sum assured 4 years ago, and according to them it is from 08-09, i.e. policy number 222200/48/2009/140.
              We had taken up the issue with the Insurance company and the TPA and after 4-5 follow ups, they had informed us that they will only accept the claim of Rs.2,00,000/- as per there clause, which is under mentioned:-
              QUOTE (MESSAGE FROM TPA)
              8 RENEWAL OF POLICY:
              a) The Company shall not be responsible or liable for non-renewal of policy due to non-receipt or delayed receipt (i.e. After the due date) of the proposal form or of the medical practitioners report wherever required or due to any other reason whatsoever.
              b) Notwithstanding this, however, the decision to accept or reject for coverage any person upon renewal of this insurance shall rest solely with the Company. The company may at its discretion revise the premium rates and / or the terms & condition of the policy every year upon renewal thereof. Renewal of this policy is not automatic; premium due must be paid by the proposer to the company before the due date.
              c) The Company normally sends renewal notice but not sending it will not tantamount to deficiency in services.
              If the policy is to be renewed for enhanced sum insured then the restrictions as applicable to a fresh policy (condition 4.1, 4.2 & 4.3 will apply to additional sum insured) as if a separate policy has been issued for the difference, subject to medical check up as per norms of the Company. The cost of Medical check up shall be borne by the insured.
              UNQUOTE (MESSAGE FROM TPA)
              Sir, I would like to put here that no such clause was informed to us at the time of the limit enhancement by the Agent or the by the insurance company. I am attaching the policy cover note along with, in which there is no such condition mentioned that what would be the upper cap to the claim amount in case of need.
              From last 3 years, we are paying the premium on the sum assured of Rs.3,50,000/- and when there is the need, the insurance company is running from their responsibility by taking the excuse of the hidden clause.
              Please look in to the same because we belong to a middle class family and had already spent around Rs.2,00,000/- additional on the treatment of my mother, apart from the claim amount. I would request you to consider the case on the top priority and guide us further.

                  Please accept my request as per your last letter dt. 10.10.2012 I received from your side due to illness was not able to reply your letter.

                  Regard my reimbursement of my mediclaim national insurance policy no 360501/48/11/[protected] and claim id (cid) 65979, by misunderstanding you find my negative outlook towards my disease. You said that my diagnosis is due to mental and behavioral disorders due to use of alcohol but kindly would like to inform you that i am not a drunker and no meat eater. Also there in no mentioned alcohol in the report of Dr. S. K. Tyagi (M.D) & Dr. Ashwani (psy) M.D all medication reports submitted by our side.

                  With this, I would like to ask you that please reimburse the amount that I had paid for the medication. I have attached the receipt and are hoping to hear back from your side regarding the request of reimbursement within the week.

                    I would like introduce my self That i am Salash Singh working with JK Tyre & Ind ltd where our organization has provided us group mediclaim policy. I have been paying premium on time for last 4 years for the first time when i submitted the medical bills The TPA (Alankit group) has replied that it is inadmissible due to pre existing disease and when i put a complaint and provided all the details through the doctor that Hypertension has nothing to do with the disease that my father was suffering i just got a reply that they are looking into the matter but its been many months and everything is going in circumlocutory manner. The irony of matter is that insurance company officials are not even able to reply about the status of claim.

                      Dear Sir,

                      With reference to the above, and letter dated 10/10/12, I am surprised to note content.

                      Firstly. I sincerely regret of the allegation that there is suppression of material facts. In the year 2009, my age was 46 years and the agent did not ask me for any medical test to be conducted prior to the medical policy.

                      Moreover, in the discharge summary of RTIICS, it states” THIS PATIENT IS NORMOTENSIVE. IN THE INITIAL PTC REPORT SUMMARY HE HAS BEEN MISTAKENLY MENTIONED AS HYPERTENSIVE. THIS HAS BEEN SUBSEQUENTLY CORRECTED”.

                      On the basis of RTIICS report, my claim for cashless facility was rejected.
                      But letter when they corrected their mistake, then why National Insurance Company Limited is not accepting the facts. Is it not contradictory on the part of the National Insurance Co. Ltd.
                      Why is RTIICS, name included in GUIDE BOOK-NETWORK HOSPITAL LIST.
                      If National Insurance Company Limited does not have faith in the RTIICS, then their name should be removed from Network Hospital list.

                      Moreover, I am staying on the 3rd Floor of the building without lift for last 25 years, If I was hypertension patient or suffering from any type of disease relating to heart, then I would not have been staying here. This is my first instance that I have been admitted to a hospital/nursing home after birth.

                      I would like to bring to your notice that when Dr. Dhiman of GENINS INDIA TPA Ltd. Visited for clarification and finding, co incidensely Dr. Debdatta Bhattacharya and Dr. Debabrata Chatterjee was present. He did question the doctors about the cause of Mr. VINOY ARYA’s admission to RTIICE. The doctors clarified Dr. Dhiman that it was an accident which took place and can happen with any human being. Moreover, Dr. Dhiman was quite satisfied and assured me that please file the claim, it will be met.

                      I would request National Insurance Company limited, to get a second opinion from RTIICS and inform us immediately as the claim is nearly five month old.

                            with due regards i inform you that i dharamveer chauhan 57 yrs.my insurance park mediclaim policy no is 361501/48/12/[protected].it is valid up to 02/05/2013.my father is suffering from cancer carcinoma.this policy is family policy for three members of rupees two lakh...........on 06/06/2012 admitted on rajiv gandi insitute of cancer and resarch sector-5 rohini delhi and discharge on 07/07/2012.i claimed of rupees 155950.i submitted my claim form 09/06/2012..but till now they do not give my money but give fake assured for next week..next weak...after this i claimed for rupees 20000 but thy rejected and say that insured person only take 50 percent.they said it is one disease.i[censored] want more..try another disease.so pls help in this case.we are very grateful for you.please help and obliged. please this case as soon as possible.

                              Against above mentioned Policy No.,I have insured my Vehicle Scorpio-STD-CRDE-9SIR from National Insurance Co..Company assured me to give NCB discount of 25%,after confirmation from the previous company from which the vechicle was insured (which was ICICI Lombard).
                              Sir I want to bring to your kind notice that this policy was made on 5/5/2011,but still now I did not get my NCB amount as assured.I went to the National Insurance office situated in Kamptee and met the Branch Manager Mr.Nagesh Burbure (cell.No:-[protected]).I told him the details but he treated me very badly and told me that it is not our duty to bring NCB letter from the previous company from which my vehicle was insured.
                              I also complained to IRDA.They also made efforts,but of no result.
                              Till date I have not received my NCB.Sir please tell me why should I suffer because of negligence of the company.

                                  I have purchase a car insurance policy(car no.DL3C AX3548) from your company in 11/01/2011.But at the time of Insurance the guy who came to Insure my car he only gave me the cover note[protected] and took the Insured amount cheque(163103 of Canara Bank) of Rs.4670 which was debited from my account.But till date i haven't received the original insured document from your company.Please provide me the original document ASAP.

                                  Note:-I have a conversation with Mr.Manoj(Employee of National Insurance company of Govindpuri Branch)who told me that your car is not insured till date.So kindly have a look over this issue and resolve it as soon as possible before any problem occours.

                                  Motor Insurance Policy — policy dacument can not recived

                                  I am Sateesh Kumar Tiwari. I approached Reliance General Insurance company for my car insurance. One of their agent approached me (Agency Code/poonam Dixit W/O S.P.Dixit Kanpur Branch) for the insurance of my vehicle (Maruti Alto). we paid the primum through by cash regarding my vehicle (Cover Note No:[protected] And policy no [protected] and til tuday i have note recived my policy .I have been allready complant before two month my complent against give me a refarance no 00025972 but my complant can not shourt out til tuday.please argently looking my matter and do the short out .
                                  I am waiting for your reply.

                                  Whether the cheque was drawn in favour of NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED AND crossed as A/C PAYEE ONLY?

                                  For information now National insurance Company is not issuing Motor Cover notes for renewal premiums and cover notes are not
                                  given to Agents. Any way if your premium is properly underwritten in the office and accounted and original policy is not issued
                                  then you will be safe, if your premium cheque is mis-used then you will be in trouble in the even of any accident and loss to
                                  third party or damages to your vehicle.
                                  I advise you to go to the respective insurance company immediately and verify. I[censored]nfortunately premium is not remitted first
                                  you take a fresh insurance policy to your vehicle and then take suitable action.

                                  I renewed my two wheeler insurance with reliance. Earlier it was tata aig. I renewed it through online i didn't receive the policy yet i did it on 20th of this month. So I'm expecting the policy this week or refund of my amount.

                                        sir,
                                        i had insured vw polo with national insurance co. ltd. policy no.285201/31/11/[protected].
                                        i met with an accident. no physical injury. contacted insurance co. and given intimation and surveyor checked before repairing and finally reinspected when vehicle repaired.
                                        problem is that car dealer given estimate of rs 25000 and final invoice handed of rs 42000. now insurance company says they won't give claim money more than 25000 as of estimate provided. final invoice amount must be less than estimated provided.
                                        please guide me.
