I have moved out of Nestaway property on 27th November 2020, They were supposed to refund my security deposit within 5-7 days. But they didn't do it. No response from them in calls, emails when I reach out. I have raised a service request (cc_[protected] still no response. On top of charging ridiculously high moveout charges like 3000rs cleaning charges for a small 400sqft house, They are not returning the remainder of security deposit.request you to please bring this to their attention

    I was staying in room number 203 of Yathish Vishar (Nestaway Number: 17414 ) I vacated my house in October, 2020 and I am yet to get my refund. Customer Care is not picking calls. There is no response to mails and Whatsapp messages.

    I had also raised a Customer Care request in the Nestaway Webapp on Nov 28th and escalated to 4 levels and till now there is not a single response from Nestaway. Sr.No. CC_08477405.

      It’s been more than two months since I’ve moved out [3rd October 2020] from the property I rented from NestAway [House No. 56115] but I’m yet to receive my security deposit.

      I raised a Customer Care ticket (Sr. No. CC08465154, House ID: 56115, Current Escalation Level: 4) regarding the refund of my pending securitydeposit amount of Rs 88230. But received no response till now. Connected wth other executives of NestAway as well, but received no response.

      I noticed that the property I rented is marked as Non-IDR case regarding the refund of security deposit andaccording to the NestAway FAQ’s, NestAway should prepare a “SettlementRecommendation Report” (SSR) to the owner and then the owner should refund thesecurity deposit.

      Recently I got to know that all the calculations have been done [deducting utilities bill and other charges], and now the pending security deposit amount is Rs. 86, 504. I'm okay with this deduction but kindly refund this amount.

      I've always had a great experience with NestAway before and I always recommended NestAway to my connections. But this was really a very disappointing experience and has been causing a lot of mental harassment.

      Getting no response from your customer care/ executives.
      Really disappointed with such unprofessional attitude of NestAway towards their customers.

        I moved out from nestaway on 26th November and my house inspection also got completed but I haven't received my security amount refund yet.
        It has been 1 month approx I raised multiple service requests to nestaway but didn't get any reply.

          I have cancelled moving into the house prior to the time I am supposed to move in because of someone passing away in my family and I had to go to my village for 2 months. I tried to contact the agent and raised a complaint and spoke to many in nest away but everyone is saying that I can't get any money I have paid. I paid 2k for booking the bed. 3.5k as nest away fees and 12k as a deposit. I at least need to receive the deposit back when I didn't even move into the house for a minute. I request this to get resolved ASAP else I'll have to make an official complaint against them in the court coming Monday. It has already been over a week since I'm running after them to settle this issue!!

            I didn't receive my security deposit and my previous customer request was closed. My whole security deposit was settled. The chimney was not working since I moved in that house. But I was charged for that. Washing machine was working properly still I was charged for that. All the switch, bulbs, tubelight, fan everything was working properly still amount was deducted. All the other appliances and shower, taps, exhaust fan was working properly in my washroom still I was charged on that. Coming to the main door lock, me and my fellow tentants we changed the lock after consulting and reaching out to your Nestaway customer service. After raising 4-5 service request when nobody came to repair the lock we ourselves called a guy and changed the lock but you guys charged me for that. And all the other things were working properly but all unnecessary charges has been added to my account and my account has been settled while the other tenants got their full deposit back. A guy from your customer service called me and told that I will receive my full refund that is 15k back within a week and after that all the amount was settled with false charges. Totally unprofessional. I was about to book Nestaway again from January but now I won't recommend anyone.

                  I had moved out from house id 17410 in Nagawara, Bangalore on 6th June. I had contacted them so many times and did not get my refund yet. They are asking the owner for refund and the owner says they have not received any deposit from NestAway

                    I was staying with Nestaway for the past 8 months in Gopal Lakshmiah Nest #401 Site no.22 Vinayaka Layout Whitefield. House ID 123536.
                    I moved out from the apartment on Oct 12 2020. It was promised my caution deposit of 52000 will be refund within 7-14 working days. It is almost 2 months now and still I haven't got the money. I have filed several service request regarding this and I haven't got any call back from Nestaway. The property manager is not picking up the call and the customer care number of Nestaway is now out of service. Is there any possible way to help me out in this matter.

                      I had made a booking on 27th feb in dwarka sector 3, delhi and made the amount of Rs.2300 then and after 15 days or so i made the full payment of Rs.20574. I had to shift after that but due to the covid 19 i couldnt and i am not planning to stay there anymofe so i have been trying to cancel the booking and contacting the customer care but there has been no response, the app isnt showing an option for cancellation. I would like a total refund as i didnt even shift in the house plus i also told the agents who were reminding me of the payment that i want to cancel the booking in april 1st week but there was no response.
                      So i would like to have a refund with my cancellation as soon as possible.
                      There is no call from your side and it has been a really long time

                        I moved out from Nestaway flat after staying for 17 months in 21011, tower 2, nikoo homes, bhartiya city, hegde nagar, Bangalore on 6th of November. I was supposed to get my deposit money back which is around 16000. I raised so many tickets, contacted their managers but no success. Kindly file a complain against Nestaway company .

                          I am a owner and they are not responding to my emails and questions regarding the security deposit which they took from tenant and never deposited to my account. I have opened several service requests with them also provided my bank statements but the overall experience is very bad. Their service is very poor.

                              I vacated the Nestaway house on 5th of November 2020. (registered email id: [protected]@gmail.com. registered phone no. [protected], flat: 201, Radical 9 Apartment, Baner, Pune)

                              There are series of serious concerns as mentioned below:

                              1) I am still awaiting the refund of my security deposit of INR 24, 500
                              2) I have been charged incorrectly "utility move_out_charges" of INR 4, 017 with no explanations or means of correction
                              3) Rent Agreement Amount of INR 1, 000 charged on 5th -Mar-2020 and never provided till 5th Nov inspite of multiple requests. Neither the refund granted.
                              4) Denying the rent agreement, rent hiked from INR14, 000 to 15, 400 since March 2020. A delta value of INR 11, 500 paid so far.

                              I raised multiple complaints regarding the matter on Nestaway app since last 8 months but with no avail. To cite some of the complain requests - CC_[protected]forcefully closed and a new ticket raised by the team just to restart the process all over again), CC_[protected]No action so far), CC_[protected] No action so far).
                              Not a single attempt to contact me or even respond to my complaints made. App records can be used to substantiate my claim.

                              They have stopped taking any queries regarding billing through phone calls, and demands the consumer to write email to them. I had called them 8 times across days to at least seek their response at +91 [protected], +91 [protected].

                              As directed, I wrote email to every email-ids available to me since Nov 9th, 2020 requesting any response.
                              -- 17 follow-up mails made so far since Nov 9th with not a single response received whatsoever to :
                              Nest Away ;Amarendra Sahu ;[protected]@nestaway.com;"[protected]@nestaway.com"
                              -- 5 follow-up mails made to :ayushi.[protected]@nestaway.com, as asked by Nestaway local representative with again not a single response

                              Companies like Nestaway are brutally exploiting and cheating consumers in all the means possible by them

                              I need-
                              a) Immediate refund of my security deposit -INR24, 500
                              b) Reversal of fraudulent charges INR 4, 017, or providing me of proof for which charges were levied
                              c) Refund of Rent Agreement Amount INR 1, 000 as was never provided inspite of multiple requests.
                              d) Because of the harassment by not even caring to respond to customer's queries even after 8 months even for once, Nestaway should refund all the rent paid in complete since the expiry of the last year's rent agreement expiry (as the rent collected without rentl agreement stands null and void). The rent agreement was due much before any corona related restrictions (1st March, and all amount were collected by Nestaway from me). This amounts to INR 1, 26, 700

                              Total amount which Nestaway owes to me = INR 1, 56, 217

                                Hello Sir/Madam,

                                Good Evening!

                                WRT to the subject house ID, I have moved out from the house on November 16th 2020 as per the scheduled date. I have not yet received the Security Deposit of 46200 paid during my initial move-in Date (Paid on 12/5/2019).

                                The move-out Settlement recommendation Report (SRR) was sent on Friday, November 20th 2020 and after that there is no further communication. PFA the mail PDF of the same.

                                I have raised a ticket for the same with Ticket Number CC[protected] but no action has been taken till date. The ticket has been escalated to Level 2 but there is no response for the same. PFA the screenshot of the same!

                                I have lost my Job because of this Covid and in desperate need of money to run my house.Kindly look into the same ASAP and do the needful.

                                I have also placed a complaint on the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) with docket number: 2441101.

                                Kindly consider this on High-Priority and do the needful.

                                  I had a house rented via nestaway, i gave offboarding request in july. I have been trying to reach them ever since, with little or no luck.
                                  They are supposed to give the house in same condition as they took. Nothing has been done on this front. The house is in complete shambles, electric and gas bills not paid. I tried reaching them multiple times on email or customer care, but no response.

                                    - Utility bills are sent once in 3 months and there are no notifications to it.
                                    - As a customer I am not aware of the bills generated till the end of the month when they send the notification of payment of rent along with the fines.
                                    - They have promised to rectify the issue when complained in feb/march2020 but no action was taken.
                                    - Post covid-19 there was no response on the tickets raised to report the grievances and they closed them mentioning the customer is not reachable.
                                    They have put daily fine which is unheard of and wasn;t unwarrented as there are no notifications for the same.
                                    - As per policy the company doesn;t charge any move out charge in case the tenent has lived for more than a year this was confirmed by one of the agents on call and they had informed they will remove the charges. In my case they have charged 3080.
                                    - i have vacated the flat 12/9.2020 and I am yet to get my deposit amount returned. Please find the bills attahed for your ref.

                                      It had been 20 days i have left the Nestaway property but still my token money, security amount is not refunded till date.

                                      I am facing huge money crunch due to this.
                                      I have already escalated the complaint to 3 levels, but still no resolution.(picture attached)

                                      Request them to refund the amount ASAP.

                                        Its been over 6 months, i have not received my refund amount around 9000 INR still, this is pathetic service, I had raised ticket earlier as well but no response.This is it, if not getting response and refund for this ticket will go to consumer court.
