Hi,

I raised a move out request on 15th august 2020 for 30th august 2020, and nestaway added an extra amount to my dashboard saying i will be charged 5480 extra since the policies have now changed and notice period is one month, alright! But the house which i was staying in had 10 days notice period and i was informed about it when i first moved in.
i said alright let it go.

now after almost 60 days of my move out, several mails, service requests later, none of which was replied to, the customer care representatives are coming back to tell me that I have to pay back nestway with 5000 . Along with a painting charge of 9000 they have also added a inr 12300 moving charge for what i don't know and a utility bill of INR 1012, when I have already moved out on 30th august.

    I have been informed by the Property owner that I will have to vacate as he is canceling contract with Nestaway in the month of September but when i asked the Manager he said there no cancellation in contract, Finally I have been not given notice of 30 days prior as per Nestaway policy. Also have been asked to vacate on 28th of September. Now I did not get my refund as well. I have been staying with my friends home and had struggled a lot.

    I would need my deposit back plus one month rent as you did not inform me prior 30 days else will send legal notice and will reach out to consumer court with the help of my lawyer.

      We have alredy vacated our flat on 17th Oct and a complete 30days notice was served as per process. The security deposit we made at the beginning was 44000 out of which we have been only reimbursed 5K. There were no damage to the house or any product inside it so its clear that they are running fraud. we need to have our complete payment .

        I have given deposit of 39k, I have vacated the house in June and till now the advance amount is not refunded yet even after multiple service request and complaint are raised .

        No communication via email phone or anything from nestaway on advance refund amount

        And along with no refund unnecessary bills and fines have been added for which there is no justification or response from nestaway, we wlhaev taken one room for rent and utility bills are 5k eve though we are not staying from January and the room was empty this clearly showa how nestaway is cheating on people

          I have vacated the flat N224 9th of september 2020.
          Till now i have not received my security deposit refund.
          As per my agreement there is no clause of Non-IDR mentioned so putting my security deposit under NON-IDR is illegal.
          My emails are not responded and tickets raised are not answered.
          NestAway Technologies customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
          I have gone through alot of mental stress because of your behaviour towards this problem.
          If you are not taking any action for refund i will have to file fraud complaint.

            Moved out on 11-july-2020 from houseID 82958, still not recieved the refund. Multiple cases raised, answer is always same - waiting for owner to refund.

            Am in the building full of nestaway tenant, at least 10. And the owner is same, I know for sure that these tenant are still paying rent. Why can't nestaway give back to me instead of owner, if owner is not paying. 19000 is not a small amount to leave. Am in difficult situation, and it's feel like begging just to get my money back.

            Please help me out.

                I was promised by nest away that within 5-6 days i will be receiving my security deposit 11250/-.

                But till date i haven't received the same .
                No one answering the tickets i raised. Unable to view my dashboard.

                  Hi team,

                  My name is Jayaram, I took a rent house through Nestaway technologies in May 2017 and I vacate the house by raising the moveout request in nestway portal. The nestaway application generate the mail with "NestAway: Move out details and settlement amount" heading and attached pdf file. In that pdf file they generate the total amount wrongly .

                  This will impact the overall process of refund of remining amount to the customers(tenant).

                    Nestaway forcing undue notice period on tenant

                    I am staying in Nestaway property number 27598 since July 2018. As per my original agrrement my notice period for a move out was 10 days, also as per the original agreement it was mentioned that apart from 5% increase in rent no other clauses are subject to change from year on year.

                    In May 2020 my agreemnt was renewed second time. In the agreement NestAway had changed notice period to 30 days. So I raised service request SC_02278415,...

                    I had taken a room on rent from Nestaway during March 2020.

                    1. Move in: First and foremost there was no proper response from the property manager regarding the move in. The fan was not working properly and the lock was damaged. I raised a request but there was no response. Finally I fixed it on my cost through some other vendor.

                    2. Moveout: I finally decided to move out on Oct 2020 first week. The executive verified everything while move out procedure and clearly told me that there are no issues and the security deposit will be returned within a week. Its been more than 2 weeks and still the deposit is not returned. The call support is not functioning and there is not even a single response from raising a ticket.

                    Please think before getting through nestaway for rental properties. I would suggest all to directly get into touch with the owners of the house eventhough the deposit seems high. But the money will be safe.

                    I have clearly experienced complete ignore from Nestaway and not valuing their customers.

                      Hi,

                      I have vacated the Nestaway house which I had stayed for more than 1 and a half years this July. And since then I am trying to contact the owner and Nestaway team. Both seem to be unreachable. The owner ignores my calls on purpose.

                      I recently got a email from Nestaway saying that the owner is not responding to their requests since a long time but has agreed to refund the deposit. I have given Rs 50 thousand deposit to Nestaway.

                      They mentioned they would only be refunding Rs 30 thousand. I used to stay in a 400 sqft 1 bhk and they have deducted Rs 20 thousand. I have requested them a detailed breakdown as to why there is so much deduction and I have no reply from them since a month, nor any deposit refund.

                      It's been more than 2 and a half months and my money is not being refunded or I cannot reach them out in any way as they don't reply.

                      After I vacated they still kept on adding rent payment pending in my dashboard and also had added late payment fees for the rent.

                        On 1 sep 2020 I had booked a flat in an Electronic City, 16 cross, building name - Srinivasam Apartments, flat no. 204.
                        House ID : N2960

                        Before booking the flat I had asked Kishore (the nestaway person, electronic City who showed me flat) about all charges and terms. From my side I had made it clear that I do not want the house to be painted so I will not be painting it after leaving the flat. For this he said okay then painting charges will be excluded for your flat charges. And I also asked for an agreement to see so that I can read all terms and conditions before booking a flat for that he just sent me a random photo of the agreement which did not contain any proper information.

                        Now after making the token Nestaway are changing earlier terms and conditions and imposing the charges of paint on us. For this I called manager and tried to solve our issue but manager is not cooperating with us.. manager answer was "do whatever you want to do and don't include me in this". Being a buyer I had completed all my duties ie. buyer be aware. I had asked for all information but nestaway person had misguided me and tried to commit a sort of fraud with a customer. As this agreement is based on ambiguous terms and conditions. So this agreement is not a valid agreement. Through their app, twitter and other platform i tried a lot to communicate with nestaway but they are not at all cooperating with me.

                        What I agreed was -
                        9000 for nestaway charges
                        Deposit And
                        advance rent payment

                        Now what nestaway imposing on me is -
                        9000 for nestaway charges + painting charges
                        Deposit And
                        advance rent payment

                        Now I want my 4500 money refunded and compensation of 2000 from Nestaway because of their such services i had got so much of mental stress and had to invest my valuabe time in this issue.

                        I thought this was a trustworthy platform for consumer to dissolve their dispute but it came like all other platform which do not cooperate with consumer.

                          I am Amit Jha from Bangalore. My complaint number with Nestaway is CC_08428515. My rented house ID was N6461 at Yemalur Bengaluru. I applied for Moveout in July2020 and moved out of the property on 1Aug2020 with proper notice period to nestaway. I always paid all my rent and bills on time without a single day delay ever. As per agreement, I was supposed to receive my security deposit of Rs 45, 000 refunded within 7 days of moveout but even after more than 2 & half months from the day of moveout, I am begging with Nestaway for my deposit from Nestaway, without any response from Nestaway.

                          They are fearless of the regulatory bodies, judicial system and consumer forum of India. I don't have a feeling that they are going to pay back my deposit back to me easily. But I am also determined that I am not going to leave them easy because its my hard earned money which they have been holding for no reason.

                          I have not received any communication yet from Nestaway team. Looks like anyone can take money from thousands of people and not pay and get away easily in this country. Nestaway neither responded over email, nor on the portal and neither here!

                          Nestaway is sleeping because consumer forum is also sleeping and so is the Government
                          I have not received any communication yet from Nestaway team. Looks like anyone can take money from thousands of people and not pay and get away easily in this country. Nestaway neither responded over email, nor on the portal and neither here!
                          It's been a year and still Nestaway has not refunded my security deposit amount in full.

                              Hi,

                              I was staying in Nestaway provided home and wanted to move out. I raised my move out request on 12th September and served 1 month notice period also which was upto 12th October. But Nestaway is not processing my move out and on addition to that levying random charges to me. My roomates and I moved out on the same day but they didn't levy these many charges on them and processed their move out. These charges are getting added daily without any proper explaination.

                              Their customer service centres are closed due to covid situation which I totally understand but they don't even call back, They called once when I was in a meeting and couldn't receive their call. I didn't get any call back after that until I raised my issue on their facebook page. Again they called just once when I was away and then nothing.

                              I don't know when and how am I going to get back my deposit of Rs. 22, 000 from them.

                              This company has harassed me from the start of my shifting into this house

                                I had rented a property from Nestaway in Thane, Maharashtra and left the same on 16th August, 2020. I had paid INR 70, 500 as security deposit out of which I have received INR 10, 824 only.
                                It's been almost 2 months and I have not received full payment of my security deposit.

                                  My name is Mainak Mukherjee. I had rented a 1bhk flat from Nestaway in January 2020 at ‘Ejipura Bangalore, thangavel nest’and have vacated my place with all rent and due clear on time on August 07 2020. My deposit refund was promised by Nestaway within 7/14 days it has been over 2 months I have not received my deposit. I have complained so many times to the concerned team on Twitter in mail so many places but have not receive any clarification from them. Every time they come up with the same excuse of them still reaching out to the owner to refund them the deposit and then they can pay me. They are not even providing the owner details. Kindly note this is not a one off incident from Nestaway but a pattern. They are doing the same things with so many other unfortunate customers like us where they give the same reason. Please do a research into it as it is a potential case of fraud. On top of that they change the settlement report amount to their wish and give back 1/3 of the deposit to many others. But I am not going to speak for everyone but here I am concerned more for myself as I need my money. It’s my hard earned money that is with them. I have all the details of mail settlement report amount saved I would be happy to share the details please tell me how to share those documents.
                                  I hope you will understand my situation and provide me with justice and take this matter seriously.

                                    I was staying in SLV Grand, Sarjapur Road and vacated the flat on 27th September and it was told to me that my deposit will be refunded within a week. However, there is no action from the nest away side and there is no response to the tickets raised.

                                    At present, there is no way to communicate with them or talk to any representative and they are just looting money.
                                    Please help to get my deposit back.

                                      My property was off boarded by owner, So automatically the service with Nestaway ends. In this scenario they are not allowed to deduct any sort of amount from my refund. But they have charged me with n number of charges to loot my refund amount.
                                      There is no customer care to complain and if I raise any request they will simply close the ticket from their end.
                                      There is no means of communication from their side to explain me what is happening with my refund.
                                      Such a pathetic service they provide, From now on I am going to use their service advise all my friends and colleagues to do the same.
