I have moved out of the Nestaway property more than a month ago, even then I was only there to collect my belongings. Move out date was December 18th. According to company policies, my security deposit money of 17, 000/- was supposed to be refunded within 10 days after moveout. It has been almost a month now and my monety is not refunded. There is a false Service request created by Nestaway under my name, and it is told that deposit is being held because of that request. I demand a full refund of my security deposit money.

This complaint was resolved in the month of February 2021. My deposit money was refunded to me with a deduction of INR 900/- as "service charge" despite a monthly service fee of 300 that I used to pay for a whole year. But I am satisfied that I got my money back at least.

    I vacated NestAway on 5th of Novemeber, 2020. And as of today, I still haven't received my refund amount of approximately 19000.

    Also, they deducted electricity charges of approximately 2100 for the last month of November from the security deposit, even though I was staying at my home town for the entire period from March to November.
    Usually the electricity bills comes around 800 rupees since I was not living in the Nestaway Flat from March to November. I just came for 1 day on November to vacate the flat, so not sure how electricity use for a day amounts to 2100 which is very high. Apart from high renovating charges have been deducted such as painting charges of 4000 from the security deposits which is also very high.

    Even after deducting all those amounts, they haven't refunded the Rs. 19000 after approximately 2.5 months from the day I moved-out.

      I have moved out of Nestaway property in Megapolis Sunway Hinjewadi phase 3 pune on 10 Nov 2020. According to the agreement, I should have received my security deposit within 7-14 working days. I have not received my security deposit till now. The area manager is also not responding. There is no customer care service actively working.

        I vacated my pune nestaway house 28 th of November 2020 and cleared all my dues and formalities from my end
        It has been more than a month now and I haven't received my security deposit back. The don't respond to emails or calls or complaints on the dashboard. I even got in contact with the owner. He said that nestaway had taken the security deposit from him long time ago.
        so I believe Nestaway is cheating both tennats & owners.
        I would like them to refund my security deposit back at the earliest.

          I have not received my rent agreement document. I have already followed up multiple times. However, nobody is willing to help. I have already paid agreement amount but still they are not helping. I feels cheated as a customer. Please take necessary action against them urgently. I am attaching the agreement charge that I already paid.

          Still no response from them, how pathetic they are, it's a scam for sure, never rent any property under nestaway, they will take money and will give no service at all, they cheat customer like this always. Now I am going to take legal action, enough is enough.

            I have not received two months rent which I was supposed to get last month. The tenant has given notice to vacate the property but has canceled the move out request. Nest Away(Bangalore) confirmed to get this resolved long back but now no one is replying nor answering the call of neither tenant nor owner.

            Attaching the email confirmation as an evidence of my complain but no action has been taken and no communication has been shared till today after this email.

            The above mail (on 14th Dec) shows that Nestawat is aware of the situation that the tenant has cancelled the move out request but the attached screen shot (on 31st Dec )below shows Nestaway is still not aware of what they said 15 days back.

              I vacated my bangalore nestaway house ( ID - 42809 ) on 6th December 2020 & also handed over the keys the same day.
              It has been more than a month now and I haven't received my security deposit back. The don't respond to emails or calls or complaints on the dashboard. I even got in contact with the owner. He said that nestaway had taken the security deposit from him long time ago.

                  Hello Sir/Madam,

                  I stayed in a Nestaway maintained property House ID47041 from June 2015 till 02 January 2021. There are no dues as I have paid the rent each and every month without any default.

                  A security deposit of 87750 has been collected for the property and I have not received my Security deposit refund and it's been 50+ attempts to speak to them but they doesn’t respond at all. I have vacated the property moreover nobody from Nestaway is responding to my request at all.

                  Kindly help me with this request to get my security deposit refund

                  A month now trying to contact them. No response at all. If I call the customer care number i get a voice message that they will contact me. And what I get is a response with some lady’s name who would never contact. These guys do it intentionally.

                  I had a credit towards my security deposit after a few deductions which I cannot question now as left the flat 6 months ago. However the security deposit is quoted wrong as 76642 where in my actual security deposit was 87750. Please credit the difference amount of 10858. Attached their reference of my initial move out settlement and agreement depicting the actual security deposit and the settlement report from yesterday showing the wrong security deposit amount. Please help to get me the difference amount.

                    I raised a move out request for 10th January. Inspection time was scheduled 2-3pm on 10th January but nobody turned up on the scheduled date. And also wrongly cancelled my move out request. I need to vacate this place on the scheduled time.

                        I had to internally transfer within Nestaway after the house that I lived in was offboarded from Nestaway. The shifting happened on 30th November, 2020, but still my Nestaway account is showing the previous house and rent. I tried to contact the area managers but in vain. They neither pickup calls nor do they reply to my messages.

                          Hello all,

                          I would like to raise a complaint against NestAway for not providing the deposit amount we had given when we occupied a 1BHK flat. We have vacated the flat 6 months ago, exactly on June 21st, 2020, however, the NestAway people had denied the deposit refund till now. We have been unable to contact them as their office in Bangalore (Electronic City) is not working and their customer support number is unreacheable. We have given 20000 rupees as deposit and just before vacating, a person from NestAway came to our flat, checked it entirely and informed us that everything is okay and there won't be any deduction from the deposit.

                          However, recently we were lucky to get connected to their customer support and we were informed that a total of 11500 will be deducted from our deposit (9000 for painting, 2000 for maintenance and 500 for utilities) though the flat was neat and clean and there was no damage to it.

                          Unfortunately, we are still awaiting the refund deposit and we have not yet received it and now we are not even able to contact them as their number is unreachable. The contact number we have been trying to reach out is [protected].

                          Someone could you help us in resolving this issue?

                          My security deposit was refunded after long 1 year fight. Though I got only 11000 rupees less from the original amount.

                            I have already handover the keys and even the inspection has been done by the area manager/vendor on 2nd January. still the dashboard says inspection is pending its been almost a week, and they are prolonging my last day due to this and cutting my advance amount.
                            Already they increased notice period as 45 days now this worst service.

                            No update till now it's been more than 45 days I left the house no refund no calls... Nestaway is looking it's trust

                              I had moved into a home through zenify in 2015. I had paid a security deposit of 75k. In 2017 the property was handed over to Nestaway.
                              I moved out of Nestaway a few months ago, received a call from the Nestaway executive regarding moving out process. They promised they will be returning the security deposit. It has been over 2 months now but haven't received the amount. They have stopped receiving my calls. My account in the app has been removed. This has been the same with many who stay in my apartment. It's highly unethical the way they run the company.

                                  Hi Team,

                                  I stayed in house ID 52250, Bangalore and I had vacated the premises in Sept'20. During the settlement time a charge of Rs.4100 was added to the security deposit and it was claimed the house owner had informed them to collect it. After following up with the house owner via e-mail that had one of them representative CCed the house owner confirmed he had not informed of any such charges. Ever after raising multiple tickets and sharing this e-mail thread the team did not answer on the ticket or have refunded this amount.

                                    Nestaway keep on postponing my moveout date ever after serving notice period of 45 days and rent is getting added to my dashboard day by day. Tried reaching customer care and property manager, but no response from anyone. Please help

                                      Hello Sir/Madam,

                                      I stayed in a Nestaway maintained property from June 2018 till 29th November 2020. I have paid the rent each and every month on the 1st without any default.

                                      A security deposit of 53000 has been collected for the property by Nestaway technologies to be refunded according to the rental agreement. Nestaway claims that it has an instant refund policy, Instead of that I have not received my Security deposit refund and it's been a month since I have vacated the property moreover nobody from Nestaway is responding to my request at all. They have been harassing me for one or the other issue since 2 years that is why I have moved out of the property in the first place.

                                      Kindly help me with this request as I have already talked to the owner almost 10 times and called nest away customer care almost 20+ times but all is in vain.

                                        I have moved out of property on 27/12/2020 but they are charging the rent even after that and there was no one to inspect the property and they have disabled my dashboard and I am not able to view the dashboard in nestaway application house I’d is N23011 and I have raised an complaint ending with the number 4375
