Nestaway has not refunded my security deposit of Rs. 20000 from last roughly 5-6 months.

I have been following with them, but Nestaway is not responding to me and not returning the amount.

    Rent dues = None
    Early leaving dues = None, as we informed Nestaway well before standard 45 days.

    Amount Nestaway has to refund me(as is) = Rs.14648 (excludes already refunded amount of Rs.12978)

    Following are dispute amount which Nestaway has retained illegally.
    1. Shower repairs defect = Rs.700
    There were no shower head in bathroom 1 when we moved in to home. This is recorded in the Nestaway move in video. So I can’t be charged for the items not provided to me.
    When we vacated on 29 Or 30-Oct-2022, bathroom had shower head and it is video recorded by one of the Nestaway employee when he visited for home check up on the same day. I cannot be held responsible for the missing items after I moved out of building.

    2. Curtain Rods Repairs = Rs.600
    There were no curtain rods when we moved in. This was informed to the then area manager Gangadhar and I have proof.

    3. Chimney Repairs Defect = Rs.4000
    Chimney was completely working condition when moved out. It is video recorded by one of the Nestaway employee when he visited for home check up on 29 or 30-Oct-2022. Cleaning cannot cost more than Rs.300

    4. Geyser Repairs Defect = Rs.2500 + 2997 = Rs.5497
    This is the best part. Geysers in both bathrooms were not working when we moved in. I fixed them with the help o[censored]rban Clap & it costed me Rs. 2997. I have all the proofs.
    Geyser condition recorded by Nestaway itself in the move out video provides all the proof that geysers were in working condition while I moved out.
    So here Nestaway has to pay me back (2500 charged illegally + 2997 for geyser fixed personally as Nestaway did not address the issue inspite of repeated report of the issue. Total = Rs.5497)

    5. Door stopper defect = Rs.250
    Door stopper was defective and wrapped in tape before even we moved in. This is clearly available in the move in record video. So refund 250.

    6. Existing dues = Rs.548
    Rs.500 is charged to me because of rent payment. Fact is I made payment on 3rd of the month & deadline is 5th of every month. Nestaway’s outdated and incompetent payment system marked this as not received. But it was completely deducted from my bank account. It is Nestaway who initiated transaction reversal at bank level. I had to repay the rent. By this time 5 days has spent. I’m not Nestaway for the payment issues while me and my Bank cleared payments to Nestaway.
    I have email proof of one of the Nestaway employee acknowledging the problem from their side & confirming me that the due fee will be cleared and as usual they did not keep their words.

    7. Utility door aldrop was not working when I moved in to the home. I have to fix it by spending from my pocket. This was done after repeated reporting of this issue & Nestaway failing to fix the problem. I have proof of this reporting to Nestaway & the amount has to be refunded to me is Rs. 268 fixed by Urban Clap.

    8. There were unpaid Bescom dues and no electricity when we moved in. Dues was cleared by me. So nestaway as to refund me Rs.285 (have proof)

    So Nestaway is holding my Rs.14648.

    Most of the above things are video recorded by Nestaway team. So Most of the proofs in the video held by them. I can provide all other proofs like reported issues, expended amount.
    I hereby request a transparent addressal of this grievance.

      That the company is fraud cheater would pay Rs.3, 00, 000/- towards rent collected by the complainant on 30.04.2019 which is not paid till now.
      After lockdown no reply and then now blackmail to extort their money, will destroy the company and they are not returning my money. I am goin to take legal action against this company in different courts and will ask for mental agony also will destroy the company .

        We moved out of a Nestaway rented property around 1 month back. Nestaway claims that they issue a refund within 7-8 days of moving out of the property and the owner refunds the deposit amount to them.

        However, Nestaway has not issued us any refund till today. It has been 1 month already.

        We had paid Rs. 90, 000 as a security deposit advance, we expect Rs. 60, 000 as a refund according to Nestaway's policy as highlighted in the emails.

        Nestaway keeps telling us that the deposit is pending from the owner's end.
        On the other hand, the owner is telling us that Nestaway hasn't been paying them for the last 2 months, saying that the amount will be used to give us the security deposit back.

        This is inform you that, tenant Jatin had paid 90000 as advance for the house
        2 months rent INR 30000 is payed back to nestway from me Shruthi Naveen in account of advance deposit of INR 60000 to return back the deposit amount to Mr Jatin Parab
        The amount INR 30000/- one month rent is deducted for deep cleaning and white wash.

        From my side everything is payed back to Nestaway. Hence i request Nestaway to pay back Mr Jathin advance deposit of INR 60000/-

        Hi Saravana and Shruthi

        Shruthi is telling us Nestaway hasn't paid her for the last 2 months rent stating that it is being collected towards the deposit.

        Nestaway is telling us that the deposit amount is with the owner (Shruthi) and can't be refunded until owner has paid.

        As a tenant, I am unnecessarily caught up between this. It has been 1 month now since I have moved out of the flat, still there is no responsibility from Nestaway's end to ensure that the deposit amount is refunded.

        My reason for choosing Nestaway was to avoid all this hassle in the first place. This is not at all expected.

        I request that the Nestaway and owner coordinate and get this sorted on priority. If there's no progress on this in a few days, I will be registering a formal complaint with the police authorities.

          Nest away not returning my deposit it's been two years till now. They told they are yet to recover the deposit from owner and now they are telling the contract is between me and owner,

            Since yesterday I am unable to log in to my nestaway account on both the app and the website ;the website is showing that my account is blocked ??
            Due to this I am unable to pay my rent .

              I rented a flat in Bangalore electronic city from Zenify, as per their agreement everything was considerable and they don't impose useless charges on security deposit but after a year Zenify were taken over my NestAway technologies, and in the month of MAY we vacated the property with prior information to nest away, on the day of leaving I didn't meet any nest away executive for final handover as per the agreement, neither anyone contacted us further for any issues. After that, we proceed with a refund of the security deposit and then nest away and started playing games with us by adding useless charges and deducting it from the security deposit which was Rs 30, 000. after struggling a lot they cone to the final figure of Rs 22, 510 and they told, at last, they we use to deduct it from everyone weather it was mentioned on not but as per agreement whatever repair and painting charges will be it should be deducted as per actuals, but they are not ready to listen to anyone. after that, they blocked us from everywhere and we can't reach them anyways. i too have more docs in pdf format that i can share.

                Dear Team,

                I suppose I am not the only one who is complaining on an amazing company called NestAway Technologies.

                We are moving from NestAway and the old tenant has spoiled the house like anyway.

                NestAway Team promised that they will give back the house to us in AS IS condition which is far far behind from reality.

                Now suddenly NestAway teams says that all repair works are done where Plumbing, Electricity, Repair works are still pending.

                Reason for moving from NestAway is due to very poor service.

                More over for all the repairing works they have charged Tenant while moving out but they did not provided the service now.

                Kindly take necessary action on them.

                  I booked house 5 in abc complex but Nestaway informed that house cannot be given, although I have the agreement and paid all the charges.
                  Then they said we will give you another house(house 1) in same complex and will share the updated agreement, which process is still on going.

                  There are multiple issues(ticket - CC_[protected] in the current house 1 which was already informed to the owner and nestway but no one bothered to fix them.
                  And due to this I am willing to internal transfer to a new house but due to the never ending internal transfer process from house 5 to house 1 I am not able to do so.

                  Also I have booked house visit(N262182) and got email with address and contact number to coordinate and meet to visit the house but the person didnt even received my call even once.
                  I went to the location called customer support they tried reaching to the person and his manager and no one responded.

                  First I booked a house and they didnt provided the house and then they gave a different house which has lot of issues and started a never ending internal transfer and it shows I have to pay 51000 ?
                  I booked house visit and no one received my call except customer support.
                  I was stranded at the meeting location and no one answered my call.
                  My work is getting impacted due to these issues.
                  I moved into a new city and this is my experience with Nestaway.

                    Hi,
                    I taken a hose on rent from nestaway technologies on nov-2021 and left the house on june-2022. According to House rules once we left room respective person should return deposit within week. But received deposit RS. 21023 /- and remaing deposit RS. 15726 /- Not returned yet. When i call to call center they always relied that deposit is with owner once we get deposit from owner we will refund you back. When i called owner he replied that he returned depsit to nestaway talk to him. When i given rent late the fined 100 /- rs per day. But there is no facility when owner is not returned deposit or nestaway not returned deposit. When call or mailed to reperesentative they always replied same reason. Please help out to refund my deposit. Please find attached pdf of mail communication and image of remaing deposit. In image refund button is there when i click on button and provided bank details it shows that refund will credit on your back account within 5-6 days. This process i have done 4-5 time still my deposit is not credited.

                    Please help out on this.

                      I was staying in a nestaway flat in Kondapur Hyderabad for 4 months and I had to vacate the flat due to my professional reasons . I have vacated the flat on Aug 12th and In yet to receive my refund despite multiple follow ups and reminders . They purposefully charge the tenants a hell a lot of money when they move out and they don't process the refund of their deposit . After multiple followups i have received two part of my refund and I'm yet to receive the last one . They delay the refund intentionally . I request you to kindly check and take an action against the same .

                        I was staying in nestaway house( D 142, sector 40, Noida ) from 08th feb 21 to 5th Aug 22 .

                        I gave 22000 as a security deposit and I updated the move out date as 5th August on 24th July .

                        After that they said that my move out date was not updated and I have to update it again so my moveout date got changed to 10th August but I vacated the house on 5th August.
                        Apart from all this, the house was not well maintained (geiser not working, bathroom drainage problm, bathroom door not getting locked, tap leakage ) . I informed them about the same in the past but that was of no use.

                        Now, after vacating the house they haven't refund a single rupee instead asking me back for 6744 rupees.

                        Please see the attached screenshot for the details. Requesting you to take action against the same.

                          We are trying to reach an agent for property enquiry yet the agent isn't responding even upon repeated contact. I tried contacting him over the past few days, and have not recieved any proper reply, and suddenly I was told today after contacting his number that he has gone out of station. After that too, no other agent is taking his place during his absence? The agent's name is Mr. Sudeep Biste.

                            We had a checklist disagreement, which was marked resolved without an actual resolution, when I reopened and explained that no services were provided; the customer service had the audacity and ability to remove my message from the thread and close the thread.
                            You can see the discrepancy in the attached photo; it is because they deleted the messages in between, and now I cannot reopen a request or contact the people I previously could.
                            Similar things have happened with my roommates. We are only given assurances, and our time was wasted; probably nestaway expects that we will pay from our own pockets to fix things that Nestaway assured us will be fixed before our move in. Nestaway takes additional maintenance fees and deducts from previous tenants, however the maintenance they provided was surface level dusting. The cupboard I was given, and bathroom geyser, and sink all had problems. I fixed the sink as it was minor and I did not notice it until after the checklist was made. However the problems with geyser and cupboard were evident even while the checklist was made and I pointed out so, however it was not listed. I opened a service request, but as I said they stretched it for weeks only to close it unresolved, and delete my messages when I reopen it. And as the problems are not listed in their checklist, and they have deleted my messages mentioning this, I fear they will only use this to cut from our security deposits when we move out. During one of their calls they informed me that money will be deducted from our deposits for maintenance needed to make the rooms ready for new people; however, the room was not well maintained when we moved in, problems were not fixed and we had no choice but to trust that nestaway will gradually fix these issues. What is the money deducted from the previous tenants used for?

                            **The ticket still exists. And my previous messages are available. However as you can see they have marked the ticket as resolved multiple times without confirmation from me. And when I have opened it again, they stretched it with assurances over calls that the issue will be looked into. Until finally I reopened the ticket again to which they deleted my messages that followed. You can see in the last message it says "Moved from reopend to closed" But it should've said "Moved from resolved to closed", it doesn't because they forgot to mark it resolved before deleting the messages that followed me reopening the request.
                            For the geyser issue they even managed to get an OTP for the technician who never showed up, and marked the service was done. Which is why it has become pointless to go to their customer service again.

                              I booked a bed by seeing images on websit, but room is completely different from what it is on website.. I canceled my booking .I need refund, otherwise I'm going to file a petition in consumer court regarding this.

                                On 26th July, I had initiated a move-out request on the Nestaway Property with id no: 23355 located at Brigade Gardenia, JP Nagar 7th Phase, Bangalore; Which is after serving their 6 months lock-in period which ended after I moved-in on 20th December 2021.
                                Now at the time of move-out, they are charging me 45 days of penalty in the name of early move out penalty, which is nowhere mentioned as part of the agreement that was generated at the time of move-out. The agreement only mentions about 45 days of written notice to move-out & one month equivalent rent of penalties if I move-out before lock-in period is over.
                                This is clearly violation of the tenant lease agreement & also the trust we put in the Nestaway as a platform to serve its users in a rightful manner.
                                Additionally, the agent from Nestaway came to the property for a move-out inspection and very rudely charged me additional penalties for damages in the house which were already part of the house when I moved in.
                                Overall, they're returning me just peanuts out of my deposit & have felt very disturbed getting this resolved with their customer service & ending up with no result at the end.

                                    We have moved of the house on[protected] and handed over keys and completed all the move out formalities. We didn't received our security deposit even after multiple tickets were raised. Now its been 22 months and still we didn't received the refund. This company is not at all following any rules and they are manipulating customers money and making customers very irritating. Inspection is pending from 22 months this is how the company is working due to this reason they didn't refund to us. This is totally against policies. Please look into it and help us to get our refund back. I will attach the proofs we have.

                                      No water and electricity supply has been disconnected in my building as NEST Away has not paid the pending bills.
                                      Though we are paying our rent on time still our electricity and power supply has been disconnected.

                                      We are passing this problem from past six months. Area Manager is taking up our. Tired of calling to customer care, they are also not able to get our issue resolved

                                        This is regard to my security refund amount which nestaway has deducted due to their fault in app. I put my move-out request on 15'May'2022 but the app was not functioning well so after continuous 5 days attempt, finally on 20'May it started showing ongoing on my app. So I considered that my move-out is processed. ( this moveout I placed on 11th month of my stay in nestaway house) but on 1'June when I was supposed to pay rent of 12'th month, it showed agreement renewal charges which was not supposed to be implicated as I put move-out in 11th month of my stay itself.
                                        I raised ticket on nestaway app on which I got the call after 2 days and lady told me that your move-out is not processed yet. I told her that it is showing ongoing in my app on which she said she will check this with internal team and will get back.
                                        2 days over I got call from another person and again I had to tell the whole story and again she disconnected the call by saying the same statement as earlier.

                                        Now between 12-14 of June, I talked to the area manager- 'Abhishek rathore' for the same, on which he asked me to share my email id, he will check and resolve this. 10 days over he didn't provide any resolution neither he picked up my call.
                                        During this I put it on play store on which I got call from Tabrez from marketing team who conferenced the call with abhishek too and asked him to resolve my issue.
                                        Now again I raised another ticket on which another lady called, I told everything again and even over the call in the ticket I attached the screenshot also of my app where it was showing ongoing, again lady told me she will check with internal team

                                        So from 1'June till 28'june I talked to customer care people many times but no one resolved the issue, finally on 28'June one guy from cc team again called and he told me that he will place my move-out request manually in their system (mentioning start date from 20'June) and they will not penalize me for anything as it is fault from their app.
                                        even after this I talked to Abhishek Rathore also for confirmation on which he also assured me that no amount will be deducted.

                                        Finally the guy placed my move-out request manually from their end as 16'July end date as per my move-out end date but now when I moved-out from that place, nestaway people deducted all my amount saying that I didn't serve my notice period and all..and also they implicated 800 rs as cleaning charges without informing anything ( even though i left the room more clean than they given me in the beginning).

                                        From one week I'm again talking to these people and everyday they are just making excuses and today they are telling me that 800 rs will be implicated as these are standard charges and all, although no body informed me about this ever, neither it is mentioned on nestway website or app dashboard
