Two properties handed to Nestaway.
a) Not answering calls/ emails. Only sending one way (Auto no-reply) emails for paying them the deposit without inventory analysis or payment details. Never heard from them for almost 10 months and now sending email again for refund without inventory accusing us of being fraud and dishonest without any reference or research.

b) No rent received and received for 2 on one apartment and other for 4 months.

c) Raised several service request on Nestaway portal, which they conveniently closed without any response or action.

d) Both houses were left in pathetic condition. We took custody of houses and we borne much more than these security deposit like entrance door damaged, poked cigarettes on our sofas, broke the cupboard door and other cupboard entire glass door. All railing in kitchen cabinet damaged, knobs and scrapped cabinets, sprayed oil on walls, balcony nets damaged, cots, mattress, pillows torn apart, alcohol bottles filled in the loft and cabinets, kitchen sink damaged, chimney damaged.

Please help as Nestaway is continuously threatening us. If fact it is that they owe us for such an agreement made with them and the damage caused to our property

    Hi, I am Anju. I moved in to the nestaway apartment in Alpine Viva, Seeagahalli, Bangalore on Dec 2021. By Jan 2022, I received complaint from society manager that there is a water leakage from my bathroom to the apartment downstairs. They checked my bathroom flooring and found that there are gaps between tiles and it has to be covered. They asked me to check with owner and nestaway people to repair the bathroom flooring. I called multiple times both nestaway zonal manager David, nestaway technician Clinton and also the owner of the apartment. No one is responding. I got warning from the society management that they will cut off water connection to this apartment if we don't repair the bathroom flooring soon. I don't know what to do next. I am not getting anyone from nestaway to contact. No responsibility from owner side and nestaway side.

    Also, we don't have door at kitchen side. The house is open all the time. That also is not repaired by nestaway or owner. Nestaway people are so unprofessional and it is very difficult to live here peacefully.

      I moved in a Nestaway peoperty in Wakad, Pune on 13th November 2021. When I moved in the flat there was a pending electricity bill for October and November month. I informed the nestaway team on this and they said they will get it resolved. After 2 months the nestaway agent named Sandeep called me and asked me to pay the entire bill and said the owner will reimburse the amount of the past months. It has been more than a month since I am chasing the Nestaway team but they are behaving very rudely and telling me they have lot of other important work to be done. I paid the electricity bill on 4th Jan 2022 and today is 10th Feb and I have still not received the money from Nestaway/owner. The agent is not answering my calls now and I do not have any details of the owner.

        House no N563.
        Made the final settlement to nestaway after the house offboarding scared us the police complaint if we dont make the settlement. My concern was, will make it after our house is cleaned. But he threatened us. I have to be physically be there to get my house cleaned.
        All the wood work was damaged.
        Dining table and bedside tables stolen and missing.
        Fridge is not working.
        The last electricity bill is not paid. Despite making repeated follow up with offboarding person, he is not getting done.

          The Company has taken advance and promised to paint, repair, plumbing, cleaning etc and give by 14 Jan. But it's 26 Jan now and they still haven't finished the work and the Manager Somnath and his Assistant Vijay are not responding / being very rude.

            I had vacated my nestaway rented property on Dec 15th, yet the deposit amount after all the deductions are yet to be received by me. I've raised couple of tickets, there is no response on that.

            Customer care helpline is also unreachable, its has an automated voice stating to follow up on the ticket raised

              Its been over an year, the security deposit is not credited back!!!
              Moveout date: Jan 2020.
              I have been following up regularly since Dec 2021 - Jan 2022. I do not recieve any updates on the case.

              My interaction with customer service:
              1. They tell me that the internal team is working on it, and yet there is no update from them.
              2. They tell there is an issue in Nestaway's backend configuration, because of which the ammount is not getting released. (over 365+ days!!! the amount is still not released)
              3. Even if the notice period was served (45 days) they are still charging me the fine. There is some internal issue due to which it is showing that the move-out date is before 45 days.
              4. Inspection is done and the key is also handed over. (over 365+ days!!! the amount is still not released)

                I moved out of the nestaway property on April 27th, 2021.
                Till date, i haven't received my security deposit. I have called the customer care more than 30 times and raised multiple tickets but still there is no response.

                Please do help me in returning my security deposit.

                It's been more than 8 months and still i have not received my security deposit.

                I have attached the screenshots of my tickets which i raised long back.

                I was called from Nestaway and told me that the house inspection was not done since I moved out of the property. It took almost 9 long months for them to do inspection. Finally they processed my security deposit with all the possible deductions from their end.

                  I am the owner of HID 47554 and Nestway had charged Rs. 26500 to the tenant as part of the settlement move out in June 2021. It had been more than 5 months and none of the work is carried out by Nestway even after frequent chasing. Given this I had carried out all the work by myself and asked Nesaway to refund me the amount.

                  After protracted emails/ phones, Nestaway team ([protected]@nestaway.com and suraj.[protected]@nestaway.com) agreed to refund the amount.
                  Every time I chased I was told the payment will be processed this week/ next week etc.. but it is never returned. I am still continuing to chase but there is no more replies. The is highly unprofessional behaviour and amounts to cheating.

                  Will be great if someone looks into this help resolve this issue.

                    Why are still in this business nestaway?? If you're not able to refund our security deposit for more than a year? At least, announce it publicly that you're bankrupt and can't run business. It saves time of many frustrated people like me who lost deposit money. It's been a year and I know you're actively working on my ticket CC_08523544. You said deposit is with owner, owner said deposit is with nestaway and playing game with us. Nonsense. Don't you ashame of yourself running business like this.

                      I moved into the property on 17th December. And since then I have been facing mental harrasment.

                      First by Area Manager:
                      MR. ASHUTOSH VERMA did not complete the documentation with the society maintenance office and I was let stand outside the society for over 2 hours in cold winter the very next day of move in and denied entry in the society on 17th December.
                      MR. ASHUTOSH VERMA fought with the maintenance office and called them illiterate over conference call and was trying to make me enter by telling that I am a visitor in the apartment. The society maintenance took out the anger on me and did not let me enter because according to them this broker has not spoken to them rightly and not provided all the documents to them. And they asked for 5000 society security deposit which I was not informed about while booking the house which was again MR. ASHUTOSH VERMA's fault. Had I known it'll take two months security deposit plus 5000 society security deposit to book the house, I wouldn't have booked it. Because it is clearly out of my budget and I raised several complaints to NESTAWAY regarding this security deposit issue and it hasn't been resolved yet. Society maintenance office calls me everyday and tortures me for not paying them the deposit and the OWNER is also not helping me with this. Whereas NESTAWAY was to take care of this and I am suffering here because the agent didn't have full information about the society rules.

                      Second by my flatmate :
                      My Flatmate Ms. Poonam is 34 years old and smokes and drinks in the house despite giving her several warnings she did not listen and has male visitors over all the time. Only to get back at me she made the same complaint which said I have male visitors over all the time and safety is being compromised. It hasn't been even a week and I am already falling in trap of my flatmate to kick me out. She has had the entire property to herself for over 3 months now and doesn't let anyone stay for longer than a month. You can check the records. She lives in a 3BHK flat of NESTAWAY and pays only for one room and complains about anyone who comes to stay in other rooms. She even deducts money from NESTAWAY's rent for anything and everything giving invalid reasons. She is very smart and tricking everyone including me. She has sent untrue complaints about me to Nestaway and Owner and now Nestaway has sent me an eviction notice.

                      Third by Nestaway zonal Manager Neha Goswami :
                      She called me up to discuss about the mental agony and harrasment I faced on my move in when I was denied entry in the society due to the area manager Ashutosh Verma. Ashutosh Verma told me clearly that he won't come to help me and I will have to handle it on my own since Owner is also not there and also told me to lie to guards and say that I am a visitor. My dignity and respect was compromised and I lashed out at Ashutosh Verma for being this irresponsible. When I told Neha Goswami about it she said it was not area manager's responsibility and because my flatmate has issues with me so I need to vacate the house and gave me only 10 days that is till 31st December.

                      And after all this hassle FULL move in and mental harrasment by each and every person involved in a span of one week, I asked NEHA GOSWAMI to refund me the entire amount which is 16300 rupees (security deposit for two months and onboarding charges) by 25th December so that I can find a place and book it since my money is blocked with Nestaway and I don't have the amount of money to move out. She did not respond and I am here left helpless suffering.

                      I don't know whom to seek out for help. This is a beg plea to please please find me a solution.
                      In one week I have suffered a lot and I will be forced to take legal action if nobody from NESTAWAY comes to my rescue.

                        I recently moved out of Nestaaway homes. Post move out the company has deducted mony citing repair of appliances, however most of them are fabricated charges. Customer care is closing the ticket without any resolution and the area manager doesn't not pick calls. From the online comment, seems this is the common fraudulent practice folleed by this company. Have been running around from customer care to the area manager, but seems there is little effort to resolve the issue.

                          The house was handovered by the site manager in a bad state with the bedroom attached door corroded, living room ceiling lights not working, curtains rods broken in multiple places. I was told the ceiling lights are spoilt and cannot be fixed, bathroom door has to be completely replaced and curtains rods. So as a stop gap a carpenter came and fixed the bottom part of the door with aluminium sheet, lights were not fixed nor the curtain rods. Now when am moving out all this is billed to my deposit, not only that there are several components which were in poor state like the bathroom shower. Its 12+ years old flat with hardly no maintenance by the owner and nestaway is simply deducting the cost from the tenant to do all this.

                            My refund is still due. The owner has confirmed on the damages and based on which the refund amount had to be revised. I have still not received the same after 20 emails.

                              Nestaway has absolutely been shoddy. The relationship manager is incompetent and unreachable. the property manager is not responsive. Tenant thrashed the house and vacated with impunity three months back. I had refunded the deposit but the house is yet to be cleaned up of thrash left behind. I have delayed raising a police complaint but not for long. They think money is their only objective.

                                I am Vartika Agarwal staying in Desai Suites, Channasandra Main Road, Ambedkar Nagar, Whitefield, Bengaluru - 560066. I am staying here from past more than 3 years now and this property is being managed by Nestaway. My current year's Rental agreement was scheduled for renewal on 16 April 2021. I have been paying monthly Rent of Rs. 9731 to Nestaway on time till date but they have not provided me with the renewed Rent Agreement. I raised a complaint with Nestaway to renew my agreement, but even after escalating the issue at several times, there is no response from them. Refer attached photo for the complaint raised. I also tried contacting the Nestaway customer care, but there is no response! Nestaway is very poor in customer grievance redressals.
                                Because of the poor property maintenance, Desai Suites owner have discontinued Nestaway's agreement and the property is being off-boarded with them currently. Since, September 2021, I have been paying rent to property owner directly. Now, Nestaway is saying that since the property is off-boarded, they cannot provide me the Rent Agreement from April 2021 - September 2021.
                                I appeal to either get the Rent Agreement from Neataway for a period of 16 April 2021 till 31 August 2021 OR Refund the rent I have paid to Nestaway from April 2021 to August 2021 (Rs. 58, 386).

                                  I had a property management agreement with RealtyCart for my apartment in Bangalore back in 2014. RealtyCart changed to Zenify and Zenify sold business to nestaway at some point. I stopped receiving rent from August 2019, and finally received note from Nestaway that tenant moved out in Nov 2019. I was not handed over the keys, i had to get the duplicate keys and upon entering flat i found it to be completely broken condition. I contacted few repair companies and got quote of around ~1.23 lakh. As there was no one from Nestaway available to take care of that, i finally hired local guy and spent around ~50K to bring flat back in livable condition last year.
                                  This year i have started receiving emails from nestaway for settlement, asking me to refund security deposit, legal threats.
                                  Please help resolve,

                                    I am stuck in a tenancy issue with nestaway as they are not returning the fixed deposit with a reason that Owner hasn't initiated a refund.

                                    We kept paying as regularly. Due to covid we needed to leave the house and we gave a month notice period vacated the house. Nestaway manager visited and gave a clearance and collected the key.

                                    But now the security Deposit is stuck with them . It has been more than 4 months now. Want to give a legal notice to them. I have kept record of all the invoices and payment have been online. Every track record copy is available.

                                      I was staying in nest away and vacated in the month of february 2021, and nest away charged me with incorrect and duplicate charges in the dashboard.
                                      as we know we have this pandemic and was in hometown, so i have raised tickets and since march i have tried contacting them via toll free no, and written many mails to nest away mail
                                      id which i previously got from them but there was no response over the tickets even after escalations, mails and call was not responded, hence i came bangalore this month to check on my refund amount by
                                      directly going to their office, i went to the office in HSR. they again gave hope that they will check on the duplicate charges and provide me clarification on one of my ticket(CC_[protected]and
                                      remove if any incorrect changes and refund my amount, but they did not do, i was not given any clarification over the ticket and no call also, today i received some random amount 7800
                                      but they supposed should give me 10 thousand plus as i paid. 13, 729+1600 (as initial payment).

                                      This is totally disappointing my hard earned money they are doing it like this and took my efforts consumed my time, most of the time i was sitting trying to reach them and write mails above mails, Helpless totally.

                                        Hi Team. I have recently ended the contracted and the tenents have vacated the house as well. However they have left the house with food packs and many other things. It’s been 15 days your team has not cleaned the house.

                                        It is very bad service when your team learns about that client has ended the contract. Thank god I have not returned security deposite. In case security deposite had been returned, I am sure that your team will never hand over the house as agreed in agreement.
                                        If I don’t get the house cleaned, painted and fix the damages, I will not return the security deposit and will not obliged with any contractual terms.
