I had a property management agreement with RealtyCart for my apartment in Bangalore back in 2014. RealtyCart changed to Zenify and Zenify sold business to nestaway at some point. I stopped receiving rent from August 2019, and finally received note from Nestaway that tenant moved out in Nov 2019. I was not handed over the keys, i had to get the duplicate keys and upon entering flat i found it to be completely broken condition. I contacted few repair companies and got quote of around ~1.23 lakh. As there was no one from Nestaway available to take care of that, i finally hired local guy and spent around ~50K to bring flat back in livable condition last year.
This year i have started receiving emails from nestaway for settlement, asking me to refund security deposit, legal threats.
Please help resolve,

    I am stuck in a tenancy issue with nestaway as they are not returning the fixed deposit with a reason that Owner hasn't initiated a refund.

    We kept paying as regularly. Due to covid we needed to leave the house and we gave a month notice period vacated the house. Nestaway manager visited and gave a clearance and collected the key.

    But now the security Deposit is stuck with them . It has been more than 4 months now. Want to give a legal notice to them. I have kept record of all the invoices and payment have been online. Every track record copy is available.

      Hi,
      I was staying in nest away and vacated in the month of february 2021, and nest away charged me with incorrect and duplicate charges in the dashboard.
      as we know we have this pandemic and was in hometown, so i have raised tickets and since march i have tried contacting them via toll free no, and written many mails to nest away mail
      id which i previously got from them but there was no response over the tickets even after escalations, mails and call was not responded, hence i came bangalore this month to check on my refund amount by
      directly going to their office, i went to the office in HSR. they again gave hope that they will check on the duplicate charges and provide me clarification on one of my ticket(CC_[protected]and
      remove if any incorrect changes and refund my amount, but they did not do, i was not given any clarification over the ticket and no call also, today i received some random amount 7800
      but they supposed should give me 10 thousand plus as i paid. 13, 729+1600 (as initial payment).

      This is totally disappointing my hard earned money they are doing it like this and took my efforts consumed my time, most of the time i was sitting trying to reach them and write mails above mails, Helpless totally.

        Hi Team. I have recently ended the contracted and the tenents have vacated the house as well. However they have left the house with food packs and many other things. It’s been 15 days your team has not cleaned the house.

        It is very bad service when your team learns about that client has ended the contract. Thank god I have not returned security deposite. In case security deposite had been returned, I am sure that your team will never hand over the house as agreed in agreement.
        If I don’t get the house cleaned, painted and fix the damages, I will not return the security deposit and will not obliged with any contractual terms.

          I want to bring to your notice that I have a booking for 503, Sai Ellouera, Wakad ( Nestaway House Id:178594 ) and the tenure is starting from 13th December, 2021.

          When I contacted the local Nestaway manager this afternoon (9th December 2021) to enquire about his availability to hande over the keys on 13th and when he will be available for the same, I came to know from him that property itself is not available.
          I have booked this property and paid all the amount before hand and still not communicated with this in advance. If it became unavailable, then why Nestaway accepted money in advance and even not had the audacity to inform from their own until I reached out separately.

          I have raised a complaint CC_08569433

          Please note that I have spent a lot of money on furniture as well which will be delivered on the scheduled date. I'll be requiring an immediate action on this matter.

            Hi Team, I would like to registration complaint against Nestaway Technologies. The company has not refunded the deposit amount due to me even after 1 month of vacating the property I had rented through them.

            Please find below the details:

            Nestaway House ID: 66060

            Move out date: 31/10/2021.

            Deposit amount to be refunded: 24, 990

            Attachments: Deposit calculations, Email Followups with Nestaway

            Desired Resolution: Refund of the amount due to me

            I have followed multiple times with the concerned teams, but have not received any update on by when will it be refunded. As per the owner of the property, the Nestaway Finance team has not been able to clarify his queries on the deposit amount that is supposed to be refunded.

              I have time and again contacted Nestaway and its representative, via telephone as well as through written communication, requesting them to remove unnecessary, false charges that have been added to my account. These charges include multiple moveout charges, when I havent even moved out once- as i have been staying in the same flat since past 13 months.

              The total outstanding charge has come to over rs. 20, 000 for my entire room in flat 203, Premier Residency, Patigadda, Begumpet.

              As I have reiterated previously, Nestaway has placed irrational and evidently fake charges, which shows as the TV provided by them to be missing. I would like to bring this to your notice, that the ‘missing’ TV is still very much sitting on the rented flat’s living room, i.e. well in the allotted premises.

              Furthermore, they have also refused to communicate with me and settle the matter amicably, and have time and again refused to pick my call. I have also contacted Mr. Adil, who too has proved to be incompetent

              I got a call today evening. But when I started telling them the issues, and how the house manager was of no help, instead of helping me out, he started shouting, literally shouting at me. Saying this us our process you dont know.

                I have paid security deposity of INR 35, 000/- they have made unnessary deductions like paint (7, 000), cleaning (799) and flush repair(600). For these charges no response till date.

                It has been 15 days, I have received my refund and owner is not responding. I have raised request for status of refund req. ID CC_08565795. Till now response from customer care.

                  Hello everyone.
                  I am owner of 2 bhk and I had agreement with nestway for my property management..since tenant has moved out clearing all his dues I want to move bck to my flat so I raises agreement closure with nestway..
                  The problem and nightmare started from then...
                  I paid whatever serveice and annual charges around 14 k last month thinking that they will repaint and repair minor things...
                  Flat is empty from last 3 months and I am paying electricity bill and maintenance towards the flat.
                  According to their policy they will return flat immediately as soon as we clear the due...
                  But now they are demending money for painting..they sent me some other flat photo after painting saying that my flat is reapinted and repaired..
                  I am paying rent where I m staying..and also i paid almost 20 k towards the due of nestway.
                  Is this service they are giving..
                  Pathetic..hopeless...
                  Atleast when I gave money they could have done minimum repair and handover it to back..
                  Whenever I call number is busy..they ll not pick call...some guy blockedy number also..
                  If complaint is raised it sresolved without doing anything..

                  If same service provided by nestway then it's very bad.
                  People keep away from this company..

                    All of the tenants under NestAway in our building are facing harassment by ill behaviour of the building care takers since last 2-3 months. They claim to pay money for common electricity and water bills and when asked reg the details they threaten that govt officials will disconnect the water and electricity. The tenants are paying bills to the respective govt officials directly and have invoices as well. The care takers don’t agree to it and still force to pay. When denied, they started to stop water supply from terrace by locking the keys and shut off electricity by removing fuses of each flat. Please help and look into this.

                      I have initiated moveout of property. I didn't get my rent amount and final settlement yet. Customer service persons are very worst people and they are not providing any solutions. They did not clean the house well and made our furniture, geyser, ac damage. Please don't go for nestaway service.

                        We have rented a flat on 11th August 2018 in shriram samruddhi Apartments, Bengaluru. We have vacated the flat in july, 2021. But we have still not get our security money which is 180000 which we paid when we rented the apartment. We have tried contacting nestaway many times, but did not get any answer.                           This is a complaint against the amenities provided in the Nestaway property where I moved in a month back. The refrigerator condition is very pathetic. Its door does not shut properly and this results in rats and lizards making their home inside the fridge. As a nestaway tenant, I am highly disappointed by their services and would like to see strict and prompt action taken against this complaint.

                            I have vacated the house GF 002 Garudadri Apartment on 1 st Oct 2021 .

                            They promised that refund will be processed in 7 working days but almost 2 months have passed nothing being done .

                            They have deducted many charges arbitrarily like Move out charges .. Utility charges ( though it is zero dues ) and all bills are settled .

                            I think there intentions are not right to refund the money . They are big fraud

                              Security Deposit is pending

                              I was a tenant of nestaway. I have vacated the flat on 30th November 2020. They were supposed to return the security deposit within a week but its been 11 months and still I have not received my deposit of Rs 66000 back.

                              They make false allegations on the owner that he has not returned the deposit whereas owner is saying the deposit is pending with Nestaway.

                              I had also raised ticket on nestaway portal on 22nd...

                              I have paid my rent for the month of November still the dashboard is not updated yet I have been escalating this to area manager and customer care for 4 days now still there is no positive response nor my issue has been resolved- Pathetic service by NestAway they are good at charging for unnecessary stuff but for all your queries u need to follow them as hell because no service request is taken seriously and they don’t even care for complaints or escalation I spoke to legal team and they were like jaha complaint karna h kar do I am not from that department nor I will share contact details of manager.

                                  I had booked rental house in Bangalore through Nestaway on January 2021, and paid all charges and security deposit, (Total 47000 which includes security deposit 33700, on-boarding charges 7500, society charges 2000, token 2000). When I moved, I found many items to be in not working/ broken, and i complained to the Area Manager to rectify the same. Major items in this list are kitchen chimney not working, one kitchen stove knob not present, kitchen sink tap not working/leaking, balcony door handle broken, main door peephole, light not working not present . Even after asking so many times to the area manager, these things were not fixed in spite of taking such huge charges while i moved in. Also Nestaway must have recovered additional amount from previous tenant who left the house in a very dirty state. So till the last day ie 8 july 21 when i handed over the keys, these items were not fixed and I had paid full rent throughout. I was not able to use kitchen, use sink tap, close balcony door, throughout the stay and they did not bother to fix the issues Now Nestaway comes to inspect property and in the inspection report they falsely mention that I was responsible for the damage to these items. I had also clearly mentioned to the Inspecting person that these items were already damaged but still he applied false charges on the report. I also informed the nestaway area manager of the same as he already knows that these were already damaged and he told that he will check but nothing happened. Of the Rs 33700 that I had to get refunded as security deposit, i got only Rs 18956 and Rs 18220 was the false charges that had been applied. (18220 includes - Kitchen chimney 12000, room door repair 2000, kitchen tap repair 1500, kitchen gas stove repair 900, kitchen light holder 230, living light holder 690, house cleaning 900). Such high charges for items which I was not able to use but instead i need to compensated additionally as I paid full rent and was not able to use. This is how the Nestaway is harassing customers by taking money from previous tenant and new tenant also and not repairing anything. They are also not replying to any tickets and mails. I have also found many other user on social media who have faced many refund issues and not resolved. Please help to get back full due amount (18220) from such a fraudulent company. I have attached all proofs and screenshots. Please need to resolve this

                                    Nestaway has been changing rental payment policies as they wish without notification to owners. No response to any attempts to contact customer support. It is becoming extremely difficult to know how to take the property back from them and dissolve the agreement.

                                    Please take action on Nestaway such that they respond to owners promptly on any issues that they need to resolve with owners.

                                      They are highly incompetent and unethical,
                                      They are evicting me for no reason, giving me only 10 days notice. Trapping me into invalid reasons for eviction inspite of paying all the bills on time and rent on time.
                                      They want me to vacate immediately with a proper notice period.
