    I had booked rental house in Bangalore through Nestaway on January 2021, and paid all charges and security deposit, (Total 47000 which includes security deposit 33700, on-boarding charges 7500, society charges 2000, token 2000). When I moved, I found many items to be in not working/ broken, and i complained to the Area Manager to rectify the same. Major items in this list are kitchen chimney not working, one kitchen stove knob not present, kitchen sink tap not working/leaking, balcony door handle broken, main door peephole, light not working not present . Even after asking so many times to the area manager, these things were not fixed in spite of taking such huge charges while i moved in. Also Nestaway must have recovered additional amount from previous tenant who left the house in a very dirty state. So till the last day ie 8 july 21 when i handed over the keys, these items were not fixed and I had paid full rent throughout. I was not able to use kitchen, use sink tap, close balcony door, throughout the stay and they did not bother to fix the issues Now Nestaway comes to inspect property and in the inspection report they falsely mention that I was responsible for the damage to these items. I had also clearly mentioned to the Inspecting person that these items were already damaged but still he applied false charges on the report. I also informed the nestaway area manager of the same as he already knows that these were already damaged and he told that he will check but nothing happened. Of the Rs 33700 that I had to get refunded as security deposit, i got only Rs 18956 and Rs 18220 was the false charges that had been applied. (18220 includes - Kitchen chimney 12000, room door repair 2000, kitchen tap repair 1500, kitchen gas stove repair 900, kitchen light holder 230, living light holder 690, house cleaning 900). Such high charges for items which I was not able to use but instead i need to compensated additionally as I paid full rent and was not able to use. This is how the Nestaway is harassing customers by taking money from previous tenant and new tenant also and not repairing anything. They are also not replying to any tickets and mails. I have also found many other user on social media who have faced many refund issues and not resolved. Please help to get back full due amount (18220) from such a fraudulent company. I have attached all proofs and screenshots. Please need to resolve this

      Nestaway has been changing rental payment policies as they wish without notification to owners. No response to any attempts to contact customer support. It is becoming extremely difficult to know how to take the property back from them and dissolve the agreement.

      Please take action on Nestaway such that they respond to owners promptly on any issues that they need to resolve with owners.

        They are highly incompetent and unethical,
        They are evicting me for no reason, giving me only 10 days notice. Trapping me into invalid reasons for eviction inspite of paying all the bills on time and rent on time.
        They want me to vacate immediately with a proper notice period.

          I was staying in a NestAway flat and moved out in the Covid situation. As I was moving back to my home town I contacted the customer service and asked that what can I do as I opted for 45 days notice period but I had already moved out. I asked them where can I submit my keys. They gave me the number of area manager who then told me that NestAway has a spare key with them and I can just put my keys in the box provided and do not worry. Now when the actual day of move out came ie after 45 days of notice period they contacted me asked for key. I informed them about the keys and the whole scenario. Now they generated inspection report which is rubbish. They are charging me money for the keys as they have lost there key and had to break the lock to get in. Apart from this they are also asking me to pay for new lock. In the report 50% of the things mentioned were the same when i moved in. Both the geyser are working but they are saying that one is not. The faucet is damaged from day one, the kitchen trolley is not good from day one, the door lock which they replaced was bad from day one. There was a huge seepage problem for which they are charging me which is not at all my fault. Even in the past I asked for number of service requests but not even once they contacted me for helping. These people can only make fake promises and harass their customers. I am just hoping to get my money back and never ever look at this pathetic company for future contact. I will make sure that know one whom i know get involved with this company. Its waste of time, energy and money with them. They don’t call back or reply to any emails. Its more than a month that I have moved out.

            This is Shraddha staying in nestaway flat aecs layout. After shifting nestaway has not provided pillows and in room there was no tubelight. And bathroom has some plumbing issues. They have not provided tata sky id. Whenever we call they don’t pick up. Very poor maintenance.

              Gave 45 days notice to move out of Nestaway apt which ended on Aug 5th paid the July rent & electricity as well however for Aug 1-5 the payment due option was disabled on dashboard. Move out also paid to society since I moved out on July 1st itself.only a 370/- amount was due after inspection for a washer for bathroom toilet gun as informed by Nestaway.

              Till date have not received our security deposit refund.(30k paid)

              On September 6th, one month (?) after move out, (no response despite continuous follow up via service request.).got call from Nestaway saying owner had not given back deposit that's why refund not given & that they had contacted owner & within 4-5 days it will be settled & written emails will be sent to both informing of settlement.

              However after not receiving any further update, On checking with owner directly, he said he has been following up via email( forwarded copy to us)since July end itself to settle accounts to return refund & had not received any update from Nestaway. The owner again followed up with Nestaway & forwarded this email copy to us too.

              The customer care number is not reachable & no response for service requests raised (updated after forwarding emails owner).

              Its going to be two months now since move out & it's high time this is settled & matter closed.

              So we can all move on .

              Please expedite the matter ASAP.

                Hello,
                It's about #nestaway I was staying in a flat in kharadi, Pune .There's a guy called Nil who is a care taker of my flat and near by area given by nestaway
                When I was on onboarding the guy was very sweet calm, professional with commitments, when I was about to transfer the payment and other details, Nil said that "sir your deposit is save with we'll be give it to you whenever you want to leave this house and therefore the notice period of moving is 2 months but nestaway still understand tenant situations and deal with accordingly, they will definitely refund the deposit"
                On the other hand 1 day I got know that my mom was sick and I had to move to my hometown all of sudden I had to quit my job because I need to be with my mom and family so I talked to Nil (from nestaway) and he said yes will give your deposit just put everything in the mail and request for moving out in the app. I have done what he said after that, he said sir after the inspection we'll transfer deposit, the date of my move out is 1st of sep and now he's not picking up my call app said that I have moved out successfully. I have contacted him 20 to 25 times a day but still no response

                    Hi Sir/ Madam
                    Nestaway customer service has not responded to many emails I sent and I have been staying with Nestaway since September 2020 at Madhapur. My sister and I booked an entire room and my executive told me I could move out one of the beds after 3 months but another executive told me it couldn't be done so I waited for 6 months and then after talking to her, I kept the option to move out. The inspection person told me everything is in good condition and now they charged me extra for early move-out and maintenance?


                    I was told that I can get my refund amount within 5 days of my move out but I didn't get any update on that too?

                      I am from hyderabad, i, along with my flatmates, were treated very badly by the area project manager of nest away technologies. we were promised to replace the issues in our house, and after few days he hardly answered the call.when we tried to approach nestaway, the address provided in the google maps was not correct.when we approached the house owner and explained the problem, the area manager called us and threatened us. please help us out of this situation as we were being treated poorly.

                        We moved out of Nestaway managed flat on December 28th, 2020, however, the NestAway has not returned the security deposit. We have been unable to contact them, their customer support number is unreachable. We tried to communicate via Twitter post and via mail but never received get any reasonable response. Their usual response is the amount is pending to be refunded from the owner's end.

                        We expect Nestaway to settle its issues with the house owner. Since at the end of the day, it's our hard-earned money that has been at stake. We have been sincerely paying our rent on time during our stay and expected the same from Nestaway to hold their side of the contract now.

                          We had rented an entire house from nestaway in Bangalore for the period of6 months almost. After which the owner of the house decided to move away from nestaway saying they are not paying the rent to the actual house owner even after collecting it from us.
                          Even after the owner contacted us and told us that we will have to vacate the place, nestaway had not informed us anything on the matter or even the next steps we need to take.
                          At the end we only decided to move out and raised an exit request in the month of October of 2020, after house inspection from nestaway we vacated the place.
                          Now after all this we were expecting our house advance which came upto around 80000 to be paid within several weeks, nestaway only paid about 50000 till today in small amounts. we are still waiting to get the remaining 30000.
                          Now when we contact nestaway after great effort, they tell us that the amount is pending to be refunded from the owners end.
                          We paid our money to nestaway and we expect them to refund the amount to us and then settle their issue with the house owner.
                          From what I gather nestaway is only dropping mails to the house owner asking for refund, for which the house owner is not at al responding.
                          I Expect Nestaway to take responsibility and pay our advnance amount back ASAP. It's not been great dealing with nestaway as thier customer care helpline hardly ever picks the call and they close raised incidents without any action.
                          I'm getting the feeling that nestaway is turning out to be a fraud company(home I'm wrong).

                            We are yet to receive Rs 28, 397.16 from NESTAWAY due to us since the past 9 months.

                            I have serious complaint against Nestaway Employees PANKAJ BIDKAR (Mobile +[protected] & DIPAK SHINDE (Mobile +[protected]. These 2 employees seldom pick up my calls. They never return my 'missed calls'. Very few times, when they pick up my call, they promise me that Nestaway Payment of Rs 28, 397.16 will be released within 1-2 days. But so far we have not received Rs 28, 397.16 from Nestaway.

                            I hope that my grievance will be addressed at the earliest by competent authority at Nestaway such that Nestaway settles Rs 28, 397.16 immediately within today or tomorrow.

                              Hi,

                              I moved out of a nestaway flat on DEcember 2020 after successfully completing move-out formalities which includes handing over of the keys and house inspection. The flat was eligible for instant deposit refund. I have not yet received any refund, it has been more than 9 month.

                              I have raised a ticket to which no one responds.

                              I have called customer care, tweeted, written a playstore review but every time I get the standard response that they will look into it and that the refund is being processed at the owner level where as the owner has already processed it.

                              There is no way to follow up as my dashboard has also been cleared. I have not been communicated the final refund amount, there has been no form of communication from Nestaway's end on this delay except that I have gotten around 6-8 messages stating that the house inspection has been rescheduled.

                              Now a days I get a message from nestaway everyday that the house inspection has been rescheduled. Not only has my money not been returned, now I get these messages everyday unnecessarily even after having completed that stage so many days ago.

                              Please refund my money.

                                I moved from nestaway property in dec 2020, it has been such long time they are not returning my deposit money . customer care never pick up calls, if they do they used to hangup on me.

                                  This is in reference to the house ID: 66291, pls note the following:

                                  1. The total security deposit paid to nest away was Rs. 24, 000 at the time of moving in.
                                  2. I've raised a moving out request well in advance and had cleared all the dues on time before handing over the keys and moving out.
                                  3. The Owner of the house had visited the house for inspection on 01 Aug 2021 and he was completely fine with the house and hadn't noticed/complained regarding any damages in the house.
                                  4. Later on 02 Aug 2021, the representative from NestAway reached the house and made a video.
                                  5. And later I found that the total amount that I'll be receiving will be Rs. 8, 829.99 and a lump sum amount of Rs. 14, 369.00 was charged for "Repair & Maintenance" and Rs. 774.00 was charged under "pending dues".
                                  6. I hereby request you to kindly reimburse the complete amount of Rs. 24, 000/- as deposited with Nestaway as the owner himself had inspected the house and was completely fine with it.

                                  The same issue was shared to [protected]@nestaway.com and was copymarked to the owner. Also I've raised a request in Nestaway app to which no one responded till date.

                                  I kindly request you to complete the full refund amicably without any further delay to avoid any unpleasantness to cause.

                                    Hi,

                                    I have vacated the house on 30th July, despite providing the house in good condition there was a deduction for paint and other pre move-in damages.
                                    Raised the ticket for the same but they keep closing the ticket stating that need a mail approval from the area manager, area manager is so clever that he will not pick up the call so ultimately you are left on your own.
                                    For the whole 6 months I keep calling them to repair the damages but nobody came now they have deducted money from my deposit to overcome their pre move in damages.

                                      We were staying in the nest away property.
                                      Address: Flat E 602, Westend Village, Kothrud
                                      We moved out of the property on 25th July, 2021.
                                      Its been more than a month today, they have not refunded my deposit.
                                      Even after repeated customer care requests nobody from nestaway is contacting us.
                                      They have mentioned in the FAQ section that refund is with the owner and it will be refunded after owner refunds it to nest away.
                                      Does it take a month to get refund from owner ? Does not make any sense.
                                      I want a resolution on this asap. Please return my deposit asap.

                                        I’m living in Nestaway from 10 months. I want to move out from Nestaway but no one is answering calls as there policy says you should notice 45 days prior to move out. My belongings are being stolen by tenants.
