Nestaway has charged me AC rental charges. I brought it to their attention and it took them 8 days to resolve it. They have charged me 2000 RS for the month of January to March (which they are telling me are summer months) as against july to August when I did use the AC. Please not the following points:

1. AC is not used during the months of January to March. I will not pay rental charges for something I did not use
2. When we signed the rent agreement why wasn't this told to us and why is this charge popping up now.
3. Why am I only being charged and not my flatmate. There are two ACs at home and only I'm being charged
4. You did not charge me rentals during my stint when I did use the AC and you if you think you can now, you cannot charge me retrospectively.
5. If you do not resolve this issue. I will be filling an official police complaint by the end of the week and will be filing criminal charges
6. You cannot charge me AC rental fee.

    I rented a 1RK with terrace in Palam Vihar for 13500/- and 27000/- deposit. I was told that there would be no intrusion. The landlady (Rachna Panchal) started construction on 1st floor and terrace, which lead to a lot of disturbance. The place became dirty like a garbage bin, noisy and insecure. Laborers roam around my room from morning till late night. I asked for my security money back as I chose to switch the place. How can a single female live in such a condition? Now they are saying they will deduct a month's rent and other expenses. They have not been taking my calls. NestAway employees at the Gurgaon office, namely Ms. Geeta (HRM), Bhawuk Sharma (Legal) and Anurag (Sales) have been most unpleasant and unsympathetic. This is cheating on their customers. Extracting money by fraud.

      Paid my deposit 17000 and they have put so many unnessesary charges nad refunded my 5110 rs when I moved out.. they have deducted march rent also which i had paid already on 5th of march..
      It's so pathetic tht u have to call these fellow several time for your own money...
      Following are the frauds they do -
      : after u complete your 11 months they will call you for the rent increment, if you say yes they will increase rent and if you shout back and abuse them they won't ...
      So don't try to be polite with them .. I had been polited and got increment ..

      - they have dash board that belongs to their father it seems, where they put any charges and you are bound to pay, if you won't pay they will deduct from your deposit..as simple as that..

      - at the time of moving out they will deduct previous month rent once again which I had paid already..

      And much more to say about them...

      U call 100tims their customer support they will only give the mugged answer..
      So be aware...

      FAKE, FRAUD, BAD

      Hi guys,
      Its been a long i am waiting for nest away to resolve my query but the are not bothered at all to do so, my case ID 225793, I live in 3 BHK apartment and all 3 rooms consist AC but those AC's are only for showpiece as they are not asking maintenance to increase electricity load distribution so that we can use those AC.

      I am really fed up now, and have no hope from NESTAWAY, PLZ DONT GO FOR NESTAWAY THEY ARE ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR MONEY .

        I have moved in the house mid of last year and no amenities are provided as per the list mentioned in the website. No person gave me even the key and agreement copy on the date of movein. When ask for house to given with all amenities they kept asking for charges from the time I moved in, even for the basic amenities such as plates are being charged. No lights provided inside the room and we are not allowed to use the amenities in the society however we pay huge amount as rent to the owner comparing to the actual rented tenants.
        Also, my sign was forged in one of their service document and they are unable to respond to me yet! Where is the safety for all my periods being submitted to the team? When I call customer service, they recommend me to file a case against them. Is this the way a service provider works?

        Now I have been charged with service charge of the item which was not even provided to me when I have moved in, washing machine was not working at the time of my move in and there was no vessels or iron box provided to me, rather useless vessels was there at home. The fan was rectified by me with an outside electrician and nestaway is charging me for doing nothing

        Now I have been charged with service charge of the item which was not even provided to me when I have moved in, washing machine was not working at the time of my move in and there was no vessels or iron box provided to me, rather useless vessels was there at home. The fan was rectified by me with an outside electrician and nestaway is charging me for doing nothing
        I have kept key inside the room and locked the room door. Now unable to open the room door since key is inside the room i forget to carry with me.
        So i require duplicate key to open the Room. Kindly help very urgent.

          I have scheduled move in date today at 5pm.
          Executive rescheduled it to 6 pm. When i reached there he told me to wait there he is in route.
          Then i waited there for around 2 hr with my luggage outside that building (As i was the first one to move in). Then i asked me the location of flat as he was new to that location. After approx 2 hr he came there and told me he do not have keys.
          Then i called nestaway they told me they will schedule call for me.
          After that person told me to move in tomorrow.
          Then i took my luggage, book a cab again and went to some guest house as i have just moved to this city.

            I am staying with Nestaway for past 5 months and have raised multiple complaints against a non functional Washing Machine. The customer care just tell us it will be resolved but there is no resolution against it till date. Now the company is asking the tenants to pay for the machine. Nestaway seems just like a scam they are cheating us and charging us heavy rentals against which the services are also not being fulfilled. Machine is malfunction due to lack of service, there is no fault from tenants side. They provide the faulty one and now no services. It is happening since 3 months. Please do needful.

            Doesn't refund money in proper time.Imposes fine for meaningless purposes. Never consider moving to a new flat, they would literally care about nothing once you signed on the agreement. Quality of furniture, quality o[censored]tensils and equipment given in house is too poor. Perhaps, what all they bothered is just about your monthly rental.

              I am facing issue due to neibour of airtel office people, people residing here very unhelpful and disturbing all the time, making intentional things which harm your stuff, like they started cracking my cars mirror, people are coming in my outer floor and talking loudly in front of my window as well trying to watch inside the room, when i complained about it, the owner came and rather then helping me, told me that you park your car some other space, even i am parking my car in outside of the home in available space, according to owner airtel office is given him higher money so that they have rights to park the things and spitting everywhere, and talking on my space, it is really harrassment i complained 3 times to nestaway but they are also unable to help me, so i just request give my money back or give me internal transfer somewhere else where this type of office is not available in the house, because of these you all time disturbing with people, and you can not get space to park even your two wheeler, they occupied all area of parking, the owner is total money minded.. And he don't have any value of right people.. I would like to get internal transfer in good locality with right owner not like this

                We are planning to end our services with nestaway due to a problem faced recently.
                We were told to vacate the house in the middle of the month, post which we have had a horrible experience searching for an internal transfer.

                So i request you to kindly terminate the nestaway agreement and refund us back our deposit amounts with minimum deductions made.
                Please make sure to do the same before 5th of April 2017 ( As we have to move to a new flat by 6th April 2017 )

                Also please find an attached copy of the mail shared with us, for your ready reference .

                  I booked a flat with NestAway app "A-001 The Icon", Near Nagawara in Bangalore. On the day of move-in (19th March, 2017), after coordinating with the NestAway representative, I came to the gate of the society and stopped by the security guard saying that bachelors are not allowed to live in this society. I contacted the customer care along with the area manager about the issue. They asked me to wait for 2 days for the discussion with owner and the management of society regarding allowance of bachelors in the society. After following up with the customer care again and again, I was asked to wait for 4 more days for their response at the time that I was not having place to live in. The response of customer care executives was very vague and was hardly taken action into. They were least bothered about the sufferings I was undergoing by the time I wasn't given accommodation even after a week's time. Everytime I called customer care, their only response I received was "I can understand your issue", "We are sorry for what happened", "We have sent an escalation mail", "You'll get entire refund" (which never happened). This was the only continuous response I received for the entire week when they couldn't even manage a temporary arrangement for me till the time I selected a new flat searching from scratch. I am a new user and this was the harassment I faced from Nestaway.
                  After booking new flat with nestaway, I demanded immediate move-in. They promised me to move me as early as possible and yet I have not moved into new flat even after 2 weeks of slogging.

                    They have published - [protected] as customer care number, you must dial in to see - what kind of noise you hear from the line. After all ordeal if you are luck & connect to executive - he/she cant hear you due to noise!

                    Well does email work - neither!

                    I got following reply - when i sent email to [protected]@nestaway.com

                    "[protected]@nestaway.com not monitored starting 01.06.2016
                    Your service request has not been created/updated"

                    If i copy email id of personnels like : [protected]@nestaway.com, geetha. [protected]@nestaway.com

                    They dont respond too..

                    Dont rent your home through nestaway - its a mess, i wonder how all in a sudden they got good reviews in google page! Which used tobe bad.

                    Any business if they are not serious about customer care - they shouldnt be in business at all!

                      Much harassment from nestaway..
                      I had left nestaway on 20th feb, 2017
                      The apparment i rented got off-boarded so we were promised a full refund of 12000 bucks along with the rent on pro-rata basis.

                      It has almost been 2 fornights nestaway has not given me back the promised amount.

                      I have even called them a million times.
                      Every time an associate picks up the phone they tell me to wait for 3 days and the loop goes on.

                        Mine was the case of house-off boarding. My expected license end date was 10 march 2017 but I moved out on 1 march 2017.
                        We were told that not even a single penny except 999 charges would be deducted irrespective of which date we are moving out.
                        But now they have deducted 10 days rent as I have moved out 10 days prior to me license end date.
                        When I complain to those people, they told me since you have entered license end date as 10 march, your money is deducted.
                        But actually I was told that Mam, your license date wont effect your security refund. You will get the entire amount refunded.
                        They are not excepting this thing now and are refusing to pay back the money.

                          A flatmate stole the nestaway iron, utensils, jars, etc. And moved away. I am trying to get this matter reported to thesw people. I spoke to many people like saurabh, ritika etc. But no one has taken notice.extremely unprofessional behaviour. They don't care and don't take any action. Worst service. Better to stay somewhere else. Please don't go with nestaway.

                            I moved into gurgoan gazebo apartment. Within a week was asked to move to different room with offer that nestaway will give 6000rs off on rent of 10000rupees. I did accept as it sounded good deal. This was in january 2017.
                            But now it is march 9th and i haven't received any discount on monthy rents.
                            Area manager had done this promise and he has not responded to my calls for 45 days now.
                            I have raised service request on feb4th about this and called up almost every 2-3 days to check for update. Call center folks are not aware of what to do when customers call with complains. Get a feeling they are recommendation jobs and they are outrageously rude.

                            I think nestaway is completly cheating its customers and they are not even apologitic about it. They seem to have a sadistic thrill about doing this.

                            Someone needs to take this seriously and hope nestaway closes its services as soon as possible as it is very very bad customer service.

                              Nestaway charged me wrong service charges to my dash board with the following Nestaway receipt ID.

                              1) There were no service request raised by me. The service was done on my previous apartment without my notice and charged incorrectly on my dashboard.
                              2) Service request process between the flatmates should be usually with the acceptance of all the tenants.
                              3) During the move out, the extra charge of 1000 will be deducted from the account as maintenance fee. However, the current amount was charged on top of that.
                              4) The area manager confirmed that no damages are done in the house during our stay.

                                I have been staying at a rented house as a Paying Guest with "Nestaway".
                                Under this arrangement, 5 other girls excluding me were staying in Ardee city, Gurugram. As per the tenancy policies of Nestaway, there are no male visitors allowed within the flat after 8 pm and when admitted, should only be confined to the common area.

                                During my short stay of 3 months, I noticed multiple instances where male visitors were allowed access in the flat after 8 pm, and sometimes even staying overnight. I discussed this with my flatmates who dismissed my complained - then I raised this issue with Nestaway who immediately told the other flatmates that a complaint has been raised by me. Now, these people all ganged up and started harassing me on phone & whatsapp, telling me "it's better if I left the flat if I had a problem with guys coming over to the flat during late nights"

                                When I again complained to the Nestaway customer service that I am being forced to leave the flat because I complained about a violation of Nestaway policies, there has been no action taken yet. I have had multiple calls with the customer service and secutrity team where they told me they can't do anything about this now and my Service Request (SR # 203590) is open since the past 3 days with no action taken on it.

                                I have decided to move out the flat, and now Nestaway is charging me a fine of 1 month rent because of short stay. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!! AT FIRST, I AM BEING FORCED TO LEAVE THE FLAT BECAUSE I COMPLAINED ABOUT UNSAFE CONDITIONS AND VIOLATION OF NESTAWAY TENANCY POLICIES, NOW I ALSO HAVE TO FAY A FINE????? THIS IS HARASSMENT AND DISCRIMINATION OF THE WORST KIND!!

                                I demand that this fine be removed and Nestaway team helps me to expediate my moving-out, bearing all expenses for it!!!

                                I have also filed a complaint with the Department of consumer affairs (181031)

                                  This is such a useless startup that I can go on writing and the crap on their app is just endless!
                                  1) I shift in 2016 November, at first the sun moon and earth are promised. I struggle to change my number on the app because I had already registered my old number and did not remember the password while booking the house. Somehow because it was a lonely area and no girls were moving in the area managers managed to enable my account. So the payment went through!
                                  2) Once I move in I realize that the watchman is a thug, the house doesn't have a common lock and whats even more wonderful is that the cupboards cannot be locked! SO MUCH FOR THE BS ADVERTISING! Now imagine working in a day shift and waking up everyday at 3 AM to open doors for a flatmate who comes back from her night shift! MORE USELESS STORIES ARE GIVEN TO US!
                                  3) I make a complaint to the call center/area manager one day about how another flat above us is noisy and if things do not calm down at 3 am I will call the police! The manager slams my phone saying its none of his business, the call center hangs up on me! With a We will get back in touch kindly provide details mail from their social media! USELESS because this time the area manager never tends to my requests but is busy tending to the rest of the flatmates! SO MUCH FOR KNOWING YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES!!
                                  4) It's been two months, the app that says you can make payments online doesn't allow me to change my old phone number where I get the OTP! I haven't been able to pay thanks to the damn app and I am treated as if I am running away from my responsibility. When I tell the guy that it's three months rent that I need to pay including this month's as well kindly enable online payment as I will pay by credit card, he threatens me to vacate the place! All this while I decide how on earth I need to pay because they have enabled online payments! If they expect useless tickets to be raised online which they dont follow up why bark in advertisement?
                                  USE THE SAME MONEY AND LIVE UP TO YOUR APP THAN ADVERTISE!
                                  STARTUP BS: We are easy and we are nice! But think about service we will not do twice!
                                  THE MOST USELESS SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED TILL DATE! And they have IIM founders with backing of some great VC's! I think it is worse than HOUSING - MY TEN CENTS ON THIS STUPID SERVICE!

                                    I had booked a visit to the room (D5 Waterville, Bangalore). The agent Mr. Dinakar showed me a room which was good enough for me. So I planned to move in( in that particular room). After making the payment for the same room, I reached the place and I was shocked to see an entirely different room (from which I was shown at the time of visit). I have the screenshot for the booking as well as the appointment made while visiting the room (and it's for the same room). I need a solution, not the refund. Now that I have left my previous room as well, I have no other place to move-in. It is very surprising to see a big n reputed company like NESTAWAY frauding people to grow big. I really feel getting cheated. Thanks to nestaway

                                    Myself along with my family had moved into a nestaway home on 27/04/2016. However I have not received the rental agreement till date. The customer service guys have no clue about what is happening and have been unsupportive. I had raised a few service requests which includes a broken window that has not been fixed yet along with a few more service requests.rATS ARE GETTING INSIDE THE HOUSE THROUGH THE BROKEN WINDOW AND I AM LIVING BELOW BASIC LIVING CONDITIONS.BATHROOM DOOR IS NOT FIXED AND IT HAS BECOME DIFFICULT FOR US TO LIVE HERE JUST WITHIN A SPAN ON 10 DAYS OF MOVING IN. All the requests have bee closed withouth any notification and resolution. Since the agreement has not been received yet I havent been able to move my broadband and gas connection to the current nestaway property. I am working from home and have been paying from my pocket for internet data on my phone. I am incurring great losses while the personnel at nestaway are not bothered.

                                      So really bad experiece customer executives provide false info unethical behaviour . Try to bully you at time of move out charge you fraudly forun explained reasons . They are similar to those mafias who first take money and then refuse to pay back. Bully there there customers when they end there services . I am sure it happens with others also. Highly unprofessional behavior will never reccomend anyone about it and will even advice people living already to be aware of them and moveout as early as possibe

                                        I rented a flat in Gurgaon through Nestaway.com on 26th November 2016. After around 1 month, suddenly they asked us to leave the flat as they are having some trouble with the owner. Though in the rent agreement it was clearly mentioned that the company has to give a month notice to the tenants to vacant the house, but these guys didn't give me any notice and asked me to leave in a week. Also, they promised me to refund the complete amount i.e. Rs. 25000 without any deductions. I agreed to it and left the house on 6th January 2017 within such a short notice to help them. But now they are not refunding my complete security as promised. It's been around 2 months of mental and physical torture, have called them around 50 times, have been to their office, but still, they have not refund Rs. 4000 and now they don't even pick up my calls.
                                        I have also called many times to their customer care, but they also don't know anything.
                                        Unreliable, Unprofessional, unethical and fraud rental startup organization .
