Hi,
I am really not happy with the nestaway post service. I had booked a room on 04 Jan 2017 from Nestaway. On 21st Feb, I came to know from my roommates that the owner has removed the house from nestaway and the last day is 28th Feb. So, basically I have only 7 days out of which there is only 1 Saturday Sunday to look another house.
Also, we found a house in the same society but it is 500 more than the room I took just 1 month back still I did internal transfer in which 999 was the renovation charges and 4750 as move out charges, I don’t understand if I am forced to leave the house that to in just 1 month why I am paying these charges? If it would have been 6 months or 1 year, renovation charges were still fine. But I am not moving out on my own, still I had to pay more than 6k.
I have raised a ticket id Service Request Ticket Reference : 197571 on 21st Feb itself and I have not received any email update on it.
Also, when I called the call center I got a response that I have to leave by Feb28th and the 6th month policy of house does not apply from tenant or nestaway side. If I would have left the house on my own before 6 months, then they would have cut one month’s rent extra, but in my case even though I am not moving on my own I have to pay move out charges and renovation charges.
Please respond to me by email or give me some contact who can address the issue.

    Chosen Nestaway seeing professional services over local brockers, but pathetic experience at first. Knowing i have to get shifted on the mentioned date and time, the room was cleaned, someones luggage lying in the room. The local manager isnt picking up the phone. We havent paied for the trouble. Will take you to consumer forum, kindly resolve the issue at the earliest.

      NestAway is a company which just wanted to capture the entire matket before anyone enters by making flase promises until you rent the house and then don't respond to your complaints.

      I have raised several complaints regarding several issues but they never respond to solve the issue but rather gives excuses to prolong it.

        BAD experience !! Fraud and unprofessional startup. My piece of advice.

        Your security deposit will be butchered when you will move out. Policies are not clear when you ask for your refund. Do not trust when Nestaway HELPDESK tell you #######s, always ask them to write you an email because when it comes to terms and policies they will ask you for written proof, very tricky #######s.

        You will not receive PAN card info for your rent receipt for HRA.
        You will not receive Rent agreement.
        You will get your refund messed-up.
        They will charge you Rs.999/- renovation charges when you move out, which will not be mentioned/informed when you move in for first time.
        Once you move-in, HELPDESK will behave unprofessional.
        Your service requests will be closed without notifying you, and without resolving them specially finance/accout/money related.
        Unreliable, Unprofessional, unethical and fraud rental startup organization .

        I am planning to sue them as I have collected all the info and proof which I would be needed. Lets see how far it goes.

          Date[protected] Ticket with NESTAWAY 186964 raised - Problem description : My only Housemate has moved out. He had one internet connection provided by NESTAWAY. I don't use this internet. Please cancel this connection without any delay. I want to avoid any payment issues at house-level because of this.

          Customer seeking assistance here, gets an update as mentioned.

          Nestaway does not entertain any deactivation of connection. It is a part of the package that we provide in all our furnished houses. If you do not want to use it you need to bear the activation charges which is Rs 1609.

          Main concern now
          Why should I make payment for a thing that I haven't used or want to use. These days many cheap internet sources are available. NESTAWAY should evolve quickly with this. Please assist in taking this issue to higher level.

            25 days since move out, more than 20 calls, still not a penny as a refund! Customer service has gone bad to worse!
            I get a letter on 26th stating that the house has to be vacated on 30th which was 4 days from then, ridiculous. Called C.care about 10 times only then my flatmates and I were given time till Dec 30th. But, from 27th till 8th of January none o[censored]s got an option to select move-out date for which their representative told that it's a technical error and will be sorted soon. We all moved out of the house on 1st but even though it was an error on their end that we could only select move out date on 9th(So we had to pay rent for 2 houses) You have charged me for those 9 days! Upon that there are stupid charges as deep cleaning, etc. for which none o[censored]s has requested.

              Hi There,
              I’m writing this letter with great disappointment as I have no other choice. This is to bring to your attention that we had a visit from one of your executive by name Nataraja to discuss about the services offered by Nestaway and we were then introduced to the Area Manager – Akbar.

              Upon further discussion with the Area Manager, we decided to avail your services without any second thoughts as this was a corporate company. The contractual agreement was signed for 5, 1BHK between both the parties at 19th September 2016.

              We were told to furnish all the 5 1BHK Flats with basic amenities i.e. (Single Cot, Single Bed, Duve’s, Drapes, Lights, Fan’s, Geyser, wardrobe) and were asked by your executive Nataraja to avail the furnishing purchase option given by Nestaway as it was very affordable and cheaper than normal price. I was deeply skeptical about the entire furnishing proposal and decided not to accept it. As days passed by, all the set up was going as planned and now that I was looking for vendors to supply only the bedding. We were told by Akbar and Nataraja that we were delaying the completion of the flat as clients were waiting to occupy the place as soon as possible. We were persuaded to buy the Single Bed & Single Cot offered by Nestaway and emphasized to us that it was already late and if we don’t then the client will not be occupying the place.

              Finally, When the furnishers were delivered we asked for a bill and we were given a hand-written bill rather than a computerized bill. It did not even have your company Logo [Nestaway] on it and that’s when we realized that we were conned but we didn’t bother to ask as our main priority was to get the flats occupied.
              The cost involved to get per Flat completed was Rs/- 60, 000 and the total cost for all the 5 1BHK house = Rs/- 3 Lakhs. We got the flats completed on time as asked for but nothing has been progressed so far from the Nestaway. To say it in an easier way, not even a single client / Tenant has come down to view the completed flats and god knows as to what the hell the area managers/ peers up to. Also, please note that on a many number of occasions, we have tried to contact the area manager (Akbar) and he has completed ignored all the calls and blocked my number completely. I believe that it is a common courtesy to return ones call as it’s a Good decorum and business etiquette of a professional person.
              This is to formally inform you that, as per the agreement I’m required to give a formal notice 2 months in advance to terminate the agreement. Please note, I’ve verbally given the notice to the Area Manager (Akbar) verbally over the phone in December 2016.

              It’s imperative that Nestaway acknowledge this this formal complaint and return a call back to us from your senior management to us for further discussion on the above matter.. I can be contacted on the following mobile numbers [protected] / [protected].

              I was removed from Nestaway apartment overnight without given notice time of even 1 day. I understand that it was because of concerns caused by my guests in the society compound. It is fair that I was asked to leave immediately, but not giving back my deposit is a bit over the line.

                - Entrance Room lock is not working, request you to remake it and the keys as well, I return at 12 in the night and cant expect my roommates to open it. I am really in a fix, please help

                - Jet spray pipe in washroom is leaking - I have already talked many times with the representatives but to no avail. so I am writing here

                - Keys to a different entrance has not been provided yet even though I was promised to be handed over the day I come into the house.

                - its a 3.5 bhk where in my room I stay alone. Rest are twin sharing . All other 3 rooms have AC in it while I do not have an AC in my room. How are we going to split the electricity bill.

                I have already reported all these incidents to the relavt stakeholders (I don't remember the names) but I have not been provided with solutions.

                Please help on this ASAP.

                  Hi,
                  I have been living in Nestaway house for more than a year and have regularly faced issues o[censored]nprofessional behavior, At Nestaway no body listens to your complains and there is absolutely no procedure to complain and escalate the issues. This shows how serious they are towards customer service.
                  Moreover, I vacated Nestaway flat on 5th Jan 2017 and they were suppose to refund by deposit amount of App 17, 000 Rs however they have only refunded app 10k. I have recordings from there customer care executive accepting multiple times that they owe me the amount. Also, have send them multiple mails and made multiple calls but my complain is unheard off.
                  Please help me get my 7k back.
                  Also, a request from people not to do any business with them, there professionalism is very much evident from the fact that they don't allow you to post any complains through Face book as they block and administer that, there are no mails to complain to as they have disabled everything also since I have moved out I'm unable to view the Service request in my dashboard.

Since then its been 3 months rent is still being added on and on and i had complainted them but not issue resolved such a waste service ever by nestaway and they say that its a technical glitch !!!

                      Let me jot down the issues I have faced the issues:
                      1.I got the mail before the day of moving in that If you do not pay the amount and documents by 12 noon, your candidature will be cancelled where as the full payment has been made and total documents submitted.They have harassed me just before the day of moving.
                      2.When I moved in..no main door key, no bed room key no cup board key available.After one day they have provided only bed room key and bed room key by calling the vendor and till date they have not given the cup board key.
                      3.When I moved in the room was dirty, bath room was stinking..the ventilator is open and anything can open..the cleaning guy did little and went off.
                      4.The move in support manager has not informed me that what belongs to nest away and what belongs to the tenant and I can raise any issue before 7 days.
                      5.The portal dashboard does not appear in mobile it only appears in PC.service request raising always has some or other issue.
                      6.The mattress condition is not good and it is sinked in one side.
                      7.I have tried to reach out to the SPOC but he is not reachable every time.

                      After waiting for the action from their end, I lodged a complain in the customer care and the customer has to ld that you have reached the 8th day today and we cannot assure you the service.
                      If I am wrong by giving a companion on 8th day, what about the way they have dealt with me from the beginning.i have no choice.i have to bear with these people for 6 months as I have to be there in the lock in.They can play with me as the the ball is there in their court.

                      It is really unfortunate that I have to take service from such unprofessional people.they are not at all customer friendly and service oriented rather they dictate the customer.Their people are always in a rush and do the work only half.
                      I over all have a very bad experience with nest away.I do not recommend anybody to avail their service.

                      It is really surprising that people like Ratan tata are endorsing this company.

                        I was a resident in a nestaway house in Koramangala (424, sreeRatnakunj, 8th main, 4th block, koramangala, Bengaluru). While leaving the house, the utility bills were automatically deducted from my security deposit. The invoice of that is - S97GDJCAK6ZUDO.

                        One of the bills in that invoice is for deep cleaning Rs. 1800, which should have been charged to the entire house but was only put on my dashboard. I have previously complained about the same, with ticket ID 53957, but it was futile. Also, George from nestaway had visited the house and I had complained to him personally. He said that he will look into it, but he never responded back. The phone no that he asked me to contact on- [protected], never responds to any calls.

                        Recently I checked my dashboard and saw 2 new invoices 5LHGKNWMPLFGEX4 (for Rs. 742) and F4KXU3D043Z1CMY (for Rs. 787.54), which should have been the actual amount that I should have paid for utilities that I utilised during my stay. Which comes up to Rs. 1530.

                        I have however paid Rs. 4988 in the form o[censored]tility and deep cleaning charges. I hence request you to please refund back the Rs. 3, 458 extra that I have paid to you.

                          Hi,

                          Date of incident - 8th january, 2017.

                          I had cancelled my booking before license start date (Without rent agreement initiation). Receipt# - rxokwjcvhwjbfrg

                          As per tenancy rules, 100 % amount is recoverable if cancelled before tenancy start date. However, rs. 575 was deducted for police verification and agreement.

                          Please refund the balance amount of rs. 575 on urgent basis, since this is breach of tenancy rules.

                          I tried to send message on company website - contact us, but message fails to upload.

                          Even, the customer care - is not responding.

                            Hi, My experience with Nestaway resides somewhere down along with the pain in my ###. The Area manager will show you the room but then after the agreement is signed then he wont even pick up your call.
                            I didn't receive my keys in the first 4 days of my moving date & then too they charged the rent for the whole month. Asked for help from their manager (Mohan), operation manager (Satish) they didn't cooperate. I was really helpless, sleeping in the hall for the first 4 days.. if its such a pain while moving in & can't even think of how much painful the moving out will be as have paid 2 months rent as deposit plus the lock-in period is 6 months.
                            Please don't prefer Nestaway..pay 6 months rent as deposit but make a direct contact with the house owners.

                              I tried booking a house from nestaway moile app but it ended up with a failed transaction. However, Money got deducted from my bank account. It has been more than two weeks I'm trying to reach out to them through various modes but every time they fail to provide me any update and I had no proper response from any of the call center guys.

                              I tried booking a house from nestaway mobile app but it ended up with a failed transaction. However, Money got deducted from my bank account. It has been 2.5 weeks I'm trying to reach out to them through various modes but every time they fail to provide me any update.

                              IM GETTING NO RESPONSE FROM ANYONE & ITS WASTE OF CALLING YOU PPL EVERYDAY AND ASKING TO REFUND THE MONEY.

                              I NEED TO GET THE MONEY BACK FROM THAT COMPANY - NESTAWAY, TEAM.

                                  As per the rule of nestaway, new tenant can raise ticket for cleaning and plumbing services for free but I got cheated saying that u signed the agreement in which its specified that cleaning has been done before u moved in (NO SUCH CLAUSE SPECIFIED IN AGREEMENT). Mattress was spoiled but was not replaced. NO water in apartment, raised a ticket but NO ACTIONS TAKEN. Worst services (if they provide :/ )

                                    It has been almost a month now, had cancelled my booking but still haven't received my money back. I've been raising and esclating service requets from the 22nd nov and which i just get a reply that money will be refunded within 2-3 days. At a point even the customer care was not responding when i had been calling almot 5 times a days after which i directly contacted the pune office of nestaway where i was asked to raise another request and after i explained them the amount of time i had wasted on raising requests they said they would look into the matter and inform me which didn't happen. I had almost given up on recieving my money when a promotional call was made to me and i explained my situation after which the executive told me he would respond within 30 minutes which turned into 5 long hours and i finally called back, another executive picked the call explained him everything again from scratch to which he promised and assured me i would receive the refund before tuesday i. E 20th dec.

                                    Well this is not the first problem with refund i faced from nestaway. When i was making the booking i was debited twice, a transaction failed but later money was debited to nestaway. Initially i was informed by the area manager indirectly that it would be refunded in a day or two. But it didn't happen. Then i contacted the customer care who asked me to raise a duplicate payment request and did the same for me. After that nestaway told me, acknowledging the fact that 2 payments were made, that duplicate would be refunded within 7-10 days. This was refunded.

                                    Further i would also like to mention that when i somehow met the area manager and told him my problem on booking refund he straightaway said refund has been made and the duplicate payment was not nestaways concern and i should contact my bank. To which i told him it is nestaway's concern because they have acknowledged the fact that they have received two payments and i have an email regarding this from nestaway. To which he took my contact number and told me he would get back to me in sometime from the office directly. Even that didn't happen.

                                      I am a Tenant in one of the houses provided by the Nestaway, while paying out the rent they earlier provided a 20% promo code to be used while paying the rent, i received a onscreen message saying code is successfully applied. But when crosschecked with next away team the ask me to wait till they are checking in the system.i waited till 5 dec after which i was fined for Rs500 till 10-dec-2016
                                      i was being told by the one of the team member to wait till 10 however ther was no response from the company side.After waiting too much i payed the rent on 10-dec-2016 because after 10 i will be fined for 200 daily till 15-dec-2016.They asked me for the confirmation email saying acceptance of promo code, when i asked the other tenant they also not recieve any .
                                      when i asked to waive of the extra money thats is 2000 and 500 they said its not possible because ive already maid the payment.
                                      Highly dissatisfied by the Company's customer support.

                                        First, without prior information, the new area manager just come to the flat with tenants. I understand that we do receive a message from nestaway for a visit, but he can atleast give a call to any o[censored]s before coming to the flat so that we can take appropriate action even if we are not available. We informed the same to the previous area manager, and with him, we never faced such problem. Also, if something goes missing in our absence while he has visited with a tenant, we are not responsible in this case.

                                        Second, even if a tenant has come for a visit, area manger just shows the room and don't even let us discuss the overall expenses with the tenant before moving in. We don't want that after she moves in, we face any further any consequences regarding the expenses as every expense is shared between all o[censored]s. Nothing is for free here, not even wifi, as wifi connection is on my name and not on nestaway's.

                                        Third, one of our friend came to our address to see both of the flats and she was willing to book the room in the flat opposite to ours, she tried a lot to book the room via nestaway app, but she was unable to do so. We requested new area manager to not let anyone else book the room as our friend was willing to book the complete room, but he ignored our request and also did not help at all in resolving the issue of not able to book the room. He just got the room booked and blamed us for not giving any contact number. I mean, this is really unacceptable that he just ignored our request. I am sure, if previous area manager would have been here, he would have listened to us and helped us resolve the problem as soon as possible like before so that she could book the room.

                                        Fourth, we don't want a tenant whose male friend/boyfriend visit frequently to our flat, especially after 8 pm. We faced this problem with our previous flatmate and we have also informed owner the same. If such incident occurs again, we will simply ask the new tenant to empty flat or else we will move out as we will not tolerate this issue again and the owner has also agreed with our point.
