Date of proposal is 27.11.2017 for maruti car insurance wef 18.01.2018 through maruti insurance broking pvt ltd sub agent premium car world. Since 18.01.2018 till date i have not yet received soft or hard copy of the said policy as a result of which i have been suffering from mental & physical tension, agony and harrasement as well as defamation on road as a doctor of state govt hospital. I, therefore, pray before your good self suitable compensation for my sufferings stated herein above as well as stern punishment of the personnel responsible for my sufferings.       Is the claimant in policy number 761000340162800000470 of the new india issurance co. Limited. Raman centre, iind foor, valanjambalam, ernakulam -682 016

      1. The claim of the complainant is rejected by the opposite party as per order dated 10.03.2017.
      2. The complainant joined the opposite parties family health insurance scheme on 16.10.2015. The period of the scheme was 16.10.2015 to 15/10/2016. The complainant taken the policy for the health covering to his family which includes wife and his three children’s with him. Total sum insured for the policy is rs. 2, 00, 000/-. He paid the premium amount for one year on 14/10/2015. From 16/10/2015 to 15/10/2016, the opposite party is liable to protect the insurer as per the conditions.
      3. It is submitted that, while taking the policy the agent promise that, if the insured person during the period of insurance, incurs hospitalization expenses which are reasonable and customary and medically necessary for treatment of any illness or injury sustaining in accident, the opposite party will reimburse, such expense incurred by the claimant.
      Believing the assurance of the company the petitioner taken the medical claim for his whole family. Thereafter on 22.01.2017, wife of the respondent is admitted in medical trust hospital, she was a 39 years old lady, who is suffered from hypothyroidism and bronchial asthma patient. She was admitted in the hospital with the complaints of multiple joint pain. Consulting doctor directed her for born scan. And the same was done on 23.01.17, bill of the whole body scan and details of the same is producedthere after she was discharged on 24.1.2017. The discharge summary was produced.. And the hospital bill was produced. The total bill incurred is rs. 18, 016/- (Eighteen thousand and sixteen rupees) but the claim of the complainant is rejected by the respondent stating thet as per clause 4.4.11 “ charged incurred at hospital primary for diagnosis, x-ray or laboratory examinations or other diagnostic studies not consistent with or incidental to the diagnosis and treatment of positive existence or presence of any illness or injury for which confinement is required at hospital will not come under the policy

        I mrs sandhya sanjay jaokar having policy no[protected] have paid rs11439/-instead of rs 7586/- which is the actual amount of premium the excess amounting to rs3853/-. I had been constantly calling smt smita who represent the broker mr alex cardoz having agency code-nia2d6490041 of borivali branch of mumbai regarding. For the same i had submitted cancelled original cheque to smt smita by post months before.
        Till date i have not recieved the excess amount which was falsely taken from me by the broker's office.
        I hope you would do the needful

          I submitted claim # 17110907 under 970000/34/17/04/00000060 for post hospitalization. Nearly 2 months after submitting the claim, its been rejected with below reason, which doesn't give any detail on rejection reason.

          Since the claim does not fall within the purview of the policy terms conditions, we regret our inability to admit the claim. If you have any other information or documents to substantiate admissibility of the claim, please provide the same within 15 days of receipt of this letter.

          Please be clear on the rejection reason, & let me know, what you need in order to process this claim

              Senior Citizen underwent surgery of removal of Diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, under DAYCARE admitted into hospital for surgery & patient was discharged in evening of morning admission. Logical explanation required & not claim rejected basis bad interpretation of approval list.

              Site updated on rejection of almost 60% amount from claim amount having all legitimate original bills submitted along with all lab original reports verifiable from source on actual check done.
              Surgeon blade knife rejected as coming under consumable along with gloves beats the level of mindset followed under the garb of terms & conditions of policy which are arbitrary in nature milking insurer always deprived of actual expenditure claim.

                  I want to sell my two wheeler. As all know insurance of vehicle is must before selling and transferring ownership to other party . My bike insurance was expired . I applied for New India Assurance Two Wheeler from
                  www.myinsuranceclub.com everything was fine. Employee of www.myinsuranceclub.com filled my form online on call and sent me mail regarding payment link for the insurance. Premium amount was 1131 . I made payment via UPI from this link

                  I also contacted new India assurance toll free number and explained all the details they told me to mail this to tech.[protected]@newindia.co.in I mailed all details but didn't got any reply from them. Please issue me refund asap

                        My car make ford figo aspire GJ08BF5562 met with an accident on 15th January 2018, which was shifted at SP ford Mehsana workshop the estimate of car repairing was around Rs.9.5 lakhs, after that Sr. 'A' Panel Surveyor Mr.Ajay Sharma reported the assessment of repairing of my car ford figo aspire GJ08 BF 5562 is around ruppes RS. 7, 50, 000 (seven lakh fifty thousand), So he had told me to do total loss of car becuase repairing amount is than the insured value (665078.00 RS as per policy).

                        But I want to repair it so I repaired it at Car Care Ahmedabad workshop with written concern of The New India Assurance Mehsana branch.

                        I had Paid Rs. 497168 (four lakh seventy one thousand and sixty eight) for repairing of my car and all the bill and vouchers are submitted to the The New India Assurance Mehsana branch on 11th april 2018 And I got claim settelement amount less than I spent on car repair as 380061.00 rs on date 06-JUN-18 inspite of nill NIL DEPRECIATION COVER policy.

                        after contacting the branch they replied "The vehicle No. GJ08 BF 5562 FORD FIGO covered under the Policy No.[protected], Insured Mr.Paras V. Soni was met with an accident on 15/01/2018. We have appointed our Sr. 'A' Panel Surveyor Mr.Ajay Sharmato access the loss, and as per the assessment of Surveyor we have paid the claim to Insured Rs.3, 80, 061/-(Three Lakh Eighty Thousand Sixty One only) on 06/06/2018 which please note." me on 29th june 2018 via email

                        then question is that If Mr Ajay Sharma( Sr. 'A' Panel Surveyor ) had done assesment of repairing of my car ford figo aspire GJ08 BF 5562 is around rupees RS. 7, 50, 000 at SP ford mehsana workshop than how he had done assesment only Rs.3, 80, 061/-(Three Lakh Eighty Thousand Sixty One only) after submitting all bills of repairing of car at Car Care ahmedbad which cost 497168.00 rs.???? and after submiting the estimate of Car Care ahmedabad's estimate report Mr Ajay Sharma( Sr. 'A' Panel Surveyor ) had not provided any assesment report to me or the Car Care Ahmedabad workshop. (This was confirmed with him on telephonic conversation with him on 10th july 2018).

                        So I here by submiting copy of insurance policy and bills ane reciept of repairing of my car which was submitted at The New India Assuarance company for claim settlement.

                            Sir, I applied for renewal of 2 wheeler (PB11BN6966)policy no[protected] of National Insurance on 16.4.2018 through Greenlife Insurance Broker Ltd(gibl.in) which was expiring on 18.4.2018. Gibl instead made renewal proposal to New India Insurance vide ref. No TWNEW[protected] and accepted payment of Rs 977/- on line vide transaction id SBIPGLV[protected]NEWINDIAINSWMUMBAI, but failed to renew it till 18.4.2018, 4.30 PM. I thereafter requested gibl to cancel the renewal proposal and refund the amt. I got the policy renewed by National Insurance personally by paying Rs 1068/-.
                            I have made many requests to gibl and New India Insurance to refund Rs 977/- paid but in vain. Vegue replies are being sent by both the parties to my emails.

                                    I Mr. Ramanjineya, have health policy holder since from 2015-16, I admitted hospital in JSW SANJEEVANI HOSPITAL FOR " laser treatment of varicose vein in Last month 30/05/2018. I submitted all the documents support of this.
                                    But from your side you denied the claim because of policy not in hold of 24 months.
                                    The reason is I genuinely aware of payment of renewal amount of policy in the period of 2017-18 within the time. But on Your Agent and my busy Schedule reason it is not renewed within the time. The Gap of policy closing date of 2016-17 and renewal is One month.

                                      I have made one claim for my car damages - maruti baleno.
                                      I have submitted the bill to below office on 12 jun 2018.
                                      "new india office
                                      Rahul chambers, pune mumbai road, kasarwadi, pune - 411034, opposite j n marshall"

                                      After 15 days, there is no any action on the claim proceed or i haven't received reimbursement.

                                      Really disappointed by taking insurance from you. I had kotak insurance before and they settled claim within 4 days with due diligence. But very bad experience from your side.

                                      Hope this issue will be handled with due care and considering the customer is important to you.

                                      I expect quick action and reimbursement.

                                      My vehicle honda dio met with an accident i had claimed insurance but till now the payment is not been made by insurance company my police number is -[protected]
                                      Despite TPA clearance the amt has still not settled. Despite contacting several times the TPA m/s MD India have said that they have processed and sent for payment two weeks back.

                                        Sir,

                                        My car met with accident on 13\05\2018 for which i took my car to maruti naraina workshop on 15\05\2018. Survey was done two days later and as my car was damaged from three sides, i was asked to explain the sequence of events which led to damage of three sides in writing, which i did and signed below after explaining the same.

                                        My claim was approved for one side only for which i had a talk with maruti insurance manager and he assured me that after talking with the insurance company he will be updating me about the status as to why only one sided claim was approved.

                                        After my discussion with mr rohit in maruti work shop in naraina my two side claim was approved but third side was still not covered for which i registered complaint with maruti insurance on 21\05\2018 on the centralised complaint number and had a talk with the team from maruti insurance and surveyer mr rajiv batra and again after a heated discussion with mr batra who tod me that how do i know my car was damaged from third side in the same accident (For which i have audio recording available) and this pathetic reason was given to me.

                                        After the discussion i was promised that i will be given a valid reason for claim disapproval in writing. I waited for the reason for roughly 20 days from mr batra and after 20 days my complaint status was shown as resolved for which i again contacted maruti insurance and asked them as to why my complaint status was resolved when i never got any reply from insurance company. My complained was reopened on 12\06\2018 against which i again asked them to fast track my complaint as almost 20-25 days have already been taken by both the parties to resolve the complaint.

                                        Today i. E. I again called maruti to get my compliant fast tracked and i was connected with the maruti team, i was told by maruti team that as per mr batra (Who initially promised to give me reason for disapproval in writing) is now saying that he cant give the reason for disapproval in writing as it is against company policy.

                                        Then after my insistence to maruti team that i want reason in writing or else i will file police complaint against maruti insurance, they had a talk with mr batra and initially he said that he had mailed me the reason as per him (Mr batra). Finally after moth long wait mr batra has decided that this is the right time to answer me and luckily he has given me his email id so that he can revert me back.

                                        Mr batra i want in writing reason for disapproval on new india assurance letter head or from companys official email id as i would be moving court against the company and it could be presented as evidence.

                                        Hope mr batra will be replying soon as he is one of the busisest person of new india assurance as he has already taken one month to mail me the reason.

                                        Kindly update the status or give a written denial on the company’s letter head as I would like to move to consumer court for unjustified denial of claim.
