My Nokia N8 was not responding to USB connection, when I decided to visit the authorized Nokia care store on 21st August 2012. I was happy to drop my phone at the service center as I had pulled authorized store info from the Nokia website. The employee named Sunil was friendly enough when he accepted my phone and made himself aware with the problem in my device. He recognized the problem and told me that the phone will be ready to collect in few hours. After 3 hours I received a phone call from the support office, and the lady told me that the part is not available and so they need more time to get the problem fixed. I could not get the exact reason so I requested to speak with Sunil, who then told me that the problem was not only limited to the USB port, but there is something else which needs to be diagnosed, so they need to send the phone to the head office, which would take another 3-4 days. Two people on phone with two different versions of conversation. Whom to believe? I had no option other than to believe Sunil. He had also told me that he can deliver the phone by Tuesday, 28th August 2012. But when I didn't receive any status update by EOD Tuesday, I called up the service center and was told that even they have no option to track the status. They could not tell me the estimated time of the same. Sunil could only tell me one thing "Sir, we will update you as we hear anything from the head office." Now what the concept is of Head Office? Why can't they provide any tracking number to the customer so that the customer himself can check the progress status online?
Awaiting for a call from the Nokia support, today, Sept 03rd 2012, I decided to call Mr Deepak, (if I am not mistaken in getting his name) the owner of the above mentioned store. Awesome response in a frustrated voice "Why are you calling me. Call the store and get the status there." His frustration was understandable as I directly asked him to inquire about my phone status, but what I couldn't get was the way he responded without even listening to the customer. When I told him what exactly I am facing, he didn't hesitate to ignore me by saying that he is out of town (he mentioned Punjab) and would not be able to help me earlier than the next day. He asked me to call tomorrow, Sept 4th. and hung up the phone. I had called the store owner, god damn it, not to add to my anger on the problem I was facing, but to get the solution. I rang the support office again and got to know that my phone had arrived the store this morning and they were about to call me to inform me the same. Now this was the narrowest escape the store people could take for their rescue from my anger. I visited the store to collect my phone and finish all this drama. But another surprise was waiting for me. I saw the phone and the screen protector film was missing. Now who could justify the need of removing the screen protector when the problem is with the USB port? On my very first reaction about the missing screen guard, Sunil disagreed to accept that the screen guard was at all present. He said that the phone didn't has the protector film on it. I asked him, "Does that mean I am lying?", on this he responded "We are not responsible for the Screen Guards, data and blah blah..." I asked him, isn't this necessary to share the same with the customer before accepting the phone? He said everything is mentioned on the job card's 'Terms & Conditions'. Okay, I cannot fight on this because I didn't read all the terms. But, is this the right way to hide the terms and conditions with small asterisk and fool the customers? Cant the support employee be responsible enough to brief out the terms to the customer? This was not enough. When Sunil finally agreed that my phone had the protector on it, I affirmed him by saying that yes it was worth 18 dollars which I had bought along with the phone. His response was pathetic. "18 or 1800 we don't care. Its just mentioned in our terms and conditions that we are not responsible" Anybody, please tell this guy that he is the support person and he should have proper training on customer services before he can actually take up this job. He doesn't even know how to respond to the customer? Next was the explanation on the problem description. I asked him to explain the problem diagnosed, the solution provided, and the possible reason behind the problem so that I can be attentive for the next time. All he could say, that USB was not working (yes this is exactly what I had told him to repair) so he had to change the USB port, some jack and some filter. He didn't know anything more than that. But he knew the reason behind the problem was high voltage. Okay, he meant that high voltage that came through my laptop USB, didn't harm my laptop but did wonders to my phone. To a person with the least technical knowledge, it sounds something really impossible, but for Sunil, his justification was really satisfactory.
I seek the following with this media of complaint-
1) Compensation along with proper justification of removing the screen protector film from my phone. When the problem was not at all related to the screen or its touch, why was it necessary to remove the guard? Even a doctor makes the patient sign on an agreement form, before an operation. But the agreement doesn't give him permission to operate on brains when the problem is with the kidney stone.
2) Real cause of the problem (if can be identified with the symptoms).

    I had purchased Nokia Handset (Model Name -Nokia C6-01, ESN/IMEI NUMBER– [protected], PRODUCT CODE – 059C1C2, INSTRUMENT TYPE-PHONE, TECHNOLOGY TYPE- GSN)

    From the day of purchase, the handset is showing the frequent problem of sudden hanging any clarification pls find Complaint Job Sheet No[protected]/120816/8. This handset has been sent to Nokia service centre (Care Solutions) at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, but the problem still persists.


    Due to repetition of this problem, I request you to kindly change the present handset with a new one for your customer satisfaction.

    I hope this letter will be addressed promptly and my problem will be resolved within 7 days of time span.
    In case it is not resolved within a week’s time, please mention whom shall I contact next for getting an early solution.

      nokia x6 8gb — unlimited music download is not available,...

      sir i bought nokiax6 8b mobile on 05/08/2010 which is unlimited music adition...they dint send me any sms of key to me till now..i called to customer care 5times but no solution..plz solve my problem....

      This is regarding the Music unlimited pin no.
      I was also baffled by not receiving the sms.
      Then I had to reset my phone due to some malfunction. I used the restore factory setting menu item in the settings menu.
      After restart I received an sms to agree to the my nokia terms and conditions and when I pressed yes another message with the pin was received, using which I created a Music Unlimited account.

        i have bought a nokia 500 handset two months before, yesterday it stopped working, when i visited the nokia customer care center in my township that is muzaffarpur in bihar, they refused to repair my handsets with vague reasons, and misbehaved with me and abused me. my email id is [protected]@yahoo.co.in i am truly disappointed with nokia and its customer care. i need justice. plz help me. i have spend inr 9500 bucks of my hard earning cash and the handset stopped working in just two months and nokia customer care is not repairing it and they abused me also. nokia care in my town is the worst customer care center in the entire country and it is also damaging the repo of nokia company.

          Respected sir,
          With due respect i beg to say, tha t i am having a Nokia C6-01 abt 8 months old.in just 8 months iTs Operating system has been refreshed MOre then adozen times,that means its Os Has been corrupting frequently, and about 2 months ago, my hnadset was Swaped by anothrc6-01, but just from the day it was swaped, it started generating new problems like:-
          1.=> main problem i am facinng is some horizontal and vertical appearing lines on its screen and its really very irritating
          2. overheating
          3.frequetly its operating system sorrupts
          4.hangs/boots just after thae day its OS has updated
          5.Its wifi connections drops automatically
          6.its mobile data connection drops( when there is no operator failure)
          7.It burns when used in 3g mode
          8.very very low bateery backup,less then half a day( cheched with a ew battery also)
          9.and lot more which i cant explain here......

          => regarding all these problems i visited nokia care centre (siti communications, gandhi chowk) many times, but all the time what they said was,all these problem are normal to them like overheating and all the problems, they said its oke., biut i want to know how could this be oke with a so much costly smartphone.
          i bought a Nokia smartphone just beacuse its of realiability ad goodwill in the market and excellent after sale service but now what happpening with me is proving me ans all Nokia users wrong.as no one is listening and rectifying my handset problems.
          i am literaaly fed up by visiting nokia care centre again and again to make my my handset work good.
          but now all i got to know is all the c6-01 has a manufacturing defect and i beg n request u guys , either return my money back or swap my handset with another handset ( not a c6-01) but any other model of same price group.
          and please try to solve this asap as i know after taking a legal action the nokia care centre would discomfort me either by not treating accordingly or by not getting a solution for my problem in time.i request to solve this in 7-10 days maximum.
          i would really be thankful

            My brother ( Prathap ) lost his mobile while travelling in BMTC bus near marathalli @ around 9:30 - 10:00 AM 29th Aug 2012.

            I have f-secure anti-theft software installed in it, but not sure if it is going to help.

              Hello,

              I am using Nokia C-6 Phone.Last year i got some problem in my phone. I went to Nokia service centre(Chandigarh) due to batery problem. they updated the software
              and same time they ask me to extend its warranty after giving any particular amount. I get it extented for next 12 months.when they updated the software
              after that my phone front camera stop funtioning. With the time it started giving many problems .I went to Nokia care again they started making excuses this is due to liquid exposure.it lapse its warranty. Now the cost will be
              appox 2800Rs .I said after updating the software it stops working but they disagree.then i ask them you should not extend the warranty if it was containing
              some sought of liquid,its your responsibilty to check the phone.after lot of request they get it repaired. again after 8months I faced same peoblem in its display.
              When i went to Nokia care again they started making excuses like its physical damage ,you have to pay appox 3000Rs. As per Nokia care one of the internal part got damage, so how it can be the physical damage.
              and If we have to repair our phone from Nokia after giving Money only. then what is the use of extended warranty.
              I feel to earn money they make such kind of excuses. because a customer is not aware about the internal parts of phone. They can tell the customer anything to make money or make him fool. Seriously I am fed up with these diffenert excuses everytime. Please do something for needfull.

                i hav a nokia c2-03 mobile phone..i bought this phone from sangeetha mobiles mangalore on 14th january 2012.. well it was working fine.. but since a month or so,it had minor problems with slide and touch since its a slide phone (very common to have such problem with sliding phones).. but then it suddenly stopped working and has a blank white screen.. i visited a nokia care near falnir in mangalore and was told that the display is gone and i'l hav to wait for 10 to 15 days for it to get repaired.. since it takes 10 to 15 days, i took it to one more nokia care in kodialbail,mangalore on 17th august 2012.. they took my phone and gave me a job sheet and told me that they would check the phone and inform me..next day they called me and told that there is a water logging in my charging section and the warranty doesnt cover this problem.. i am sure my phone was well maintained til date and there is not been a water logging in my phone..this is not a new reason they give if customers go for a warranty claim( u can check in internet for such complains against nokia care ).. how can consumer court help me in this case...??? i'm helpless here not knowing what to do further.. only thing i can do is get back my phone and buy a new one.. but what about the assurance of service and warranty.. ?? they cant cheat consumers with this type of reason... whenever a person claims for a warranty under nokia care,product is usually kept for a day or two and then refused telling there is been a water logging in the phone.. even they can put a drop of water into the phone and refuse the warranty...

                  I have purchased Nokia-Asha-200 on 22/03/12 from DUTTA & CO. D.B.C.R.Road, BUDGE BUDGE, KOLKATA- 700137.
                  Only I have used it 2 months. The problem arrises with the handset. At the time of calling it stops. Immediately I noticed it to the delar.
                  I have visited following service centres for redessd my problem.
                  1) Anand International.Behela,Kolkata.
                  I have visited on 15/06/12 & 17/06/12 ( phone formatting& charger screw tightend)
                  2) Nokia service centre,Ekdalia Park,Ballyguange,Kolkata.
                  I have visited on 16/07/12 & 23/07/12 ( software added & new version software added)
                  For your perusal I have no contact no of the above noted centers.
                  Regret to say they have not give me any JOB SHEET.
                  Here I give you the main problem of my cellphone, when I make a call
                  at the time my cellphone go to turn-off. The cellphone is not switched on.
                  It is on when I remove and further replace the battery.
                  Please go through the matter and redress my problem.

                  Nokia — Problem in My Nokia Set

                  I have purchased a mobile model 3230 on dated 03.08.07. After 18 days I have faced a problem of restarting this set so many times & also hang sometimes. I have submitted this set at Nokia office, Service Centre, Abulane, Meerut. They send it to Delhi for repairing but problem remain the same. After that I have submitted this moile for three times(26.08.07, 19.09.07, 13.11.07) but problem is same. They tell me that Nokia will replced this set but no responed to me. What can I do Please tell me to replace my phone.

My Model: N95, IMEI No: [protected]. Job Sheet Faults Reported Column is only DISPLAY LED PROBLEM mention. I was following up with the customer care about my handset, later on 10/03/2012 your set is not ready, so you will come 10 days back is your service center reply.. so i was following up after 10 days...DISPLAY LED demand the same message reply. i will compliant SMART COMMUNICATIONS md Mr. Ramesh Kumar... Mr. Rameshkumar Reply is sorry sir.. you will come after 20 days i will solve the problem.... so i was following up after 30 days.. but totally different problem reply in you service center (TOTAL MOTHER BOARD PROBLEM).. i submit n95 good condition.. only display LED Problem only.. also check in your authorised service center SMART COMMUNICATIONS. so till to date no response 5 months completed... please solve the problem.. or i will take legal actions immediatly..

                      I purchased C2-03 mobile ( IMEI no. [protected]) from Samarth Life Style Retailing D-62/62A Laxmi Nagar New Delhi on dated 12/10/2011. This mobile has been submitted four times to get it repaired at the service station since the date of purchase. Now this mobile has not been working for about one month. When I gave it for repairing at Nokia Service Station Abulane Meerut Uttar Pradesh . They asked me to deposit Rs 1200=00. When I asked them for bill for the mentioned amount, they refused to provide me with the bill. Kindly do needful so that I may get my mobile phone repaired as it is still in warranty.

                      I HAVE BUY A cell phone NOKIA -6085 ON DT. 30/06/2008, IMEI NO-[protected]
                      IN MARCH THIS YEAR WE ARE FACING problem of display and not unable to switch on ptt setting, the service centre at NOIDA NOT ONLT CHARGE THE Rs 200 / for correcting fault, however the product is in warranty.invoice no703 dt 13/03/08

                      and not change the display, asking for more money and harassement.
                      the incharge - is MR. NAVIN, MOBILE NO[protected]
                      VERY RUDE PERSON AT MICRONAS TELECOM, C-4, SECTOR-2 noida.
                      again we are facing problem of display, on 25/05/09 they charge Rs 330/ and display is o.k but sound is not coming from headset. when we send back the phone he is misbehaving with our staff .

                      is this type of service we can expect from a world class company like NOKIA.

                      is ANY OFFEICIAL FROM NOKIA HAVE COURAGE TO TAKE ACTION IN THIS MATTER.

                      i have a nokia n81 8gb, and unfortunately mobile was dead, i take it to the nokia service center, but they refuse to shootout the problem, and said it will never be repair. so kindly help me whart i will do.

                      I am Joson Ravel from tuticorin...I got a nokia 6233 from a shop known as mobile palace(name changed from A to Z mobiles) which is a nokia dealer shop in tuticorin...My mobile is 18 months old..My mobile got a problem and it gets off in 5 mins after i switch ON...so i gave to nokia care and he told software problem and got Rs.200 from me and they repair me and gave me..But again i had that problem... when i gave him second time he told that v cant able to repair the cell and it may hav IC problem..So give it to some other mobile care takers..if nokia care itself says to give the mobile for repair to local mobile repair cares ...Then how can v buy these kind of mobiles.... because of this so many people may get affected...I request to take care of this...And i want a remedy for this....

                      I have purchased nokia E71 & found issues in camera, hand set getting hang at any time, on/off switch problem. This was not solved in Nokia care at Vadodara & they are giving estimate of Rs. 1500/- to repair. My handset in in warranty period. Condition of nokia ceare is worst than vegetable market.

                      I bought a Nokia C3 mobile on Feb 1 2011. The major issue in Nokia C3 is Charging problem. If we pur more than 6 hours also while disconnecting you will get "Not Fully charged" message. So i gave my mobile to Nokia service center AKSHAYA TELECOM - Ashok Nagar Chennai on 03 Feb 2011. Till now there is no response from Nokia service center or Akshaya Telecom. Nowadays Akshaya telecom guys are not picking up the phone. i have tried to contact Nokia Care Help Desk. The worst support is my life in Nokia Care only. They will ask IMEI No & Mobile number. Finally they will say pls. contact the service center sir. I don't know what is the purpose of help desk for Nokia. Even for that also we have to make STD call to Bangalore.

                        sir, i have purchased NOKIA 5233 mobile on 27 april 2011 & in the month of march 2012 my nokia 5233 warranty will be extended again for 1 year on payment of Rs500/-. & warranty valid upto 27 APRIL 2013.

                        UNDER THIS CONDITION:

                        on 11 august 2012 i went to nokia care & give our mobile to nokia counter in running condition for software update only. they told me wait for 15 minutes only. after 15 minutes they told me "some hardware problem is occured in your handset" & also said "collect your set after 8-10 days" . when i went to nokia care on dated 21 august 2012 , they tried to give me "second hand" set with lots of scratch & dust on panel " plus "THEY STICK "IMEI" STEAKER OF MY PREVIOUS CELL" on that mobile which was they trying to given me & told me this is your "HANDSET" . but i explain them , this is not my set & please change it. becoz i know there is a "signature" of mine on the back of "HOUSING" & "scratch guard" on "DISPLAY". becoz sir u know that every person easily identify our item only by seeing. but i' dam'n sure they tried to giving me "other's used set" at the basis of same IMEI number which was written in my job sheet which was given at the time of servicing. but actually they have done "forgery" with my set by "tampering of my IMEI number sticker" & set the previous IMEI number of my original set to another set , by software programming.

                        AFTER THIS INCIDENT ,
                        i REFUSE TO receive that handset. & they tolds me again wait for next 10 days .

                        & they always said this dialogue "again wait for next 10 days .

                        dear sir, please help me ! what should i have do??

                        upto till my convince expenses will also reach (petrol) Rs375/-& waste my valuable time, related to this worst service of nokia care.

                          i have purchased a nokia n8 model for rupees 18000.00 on july 4rth 2012, the hand set is having poor battery back hence i approached devatha communications of nokia care centre kukatpally hyderabad, one mr pushparaj has attended to my complaint and after a repairing he handedover my set where the problem still persists, after 10 times of my visit even the problem has not solved i insisted my money back, he talked to one mr swaminathan (?) asm of nokia and replaced with new imei handset where to my surprise the still problem persists.
                          please kindly help me in this regard and i request my money back.

                            I had purchase Nokia Asha 302 from Vijay Sales at Kalyan on 5th August 2012. After buying a mobile with in 10 days mobile problem is start, it’s not working properly. Get switch off while leasing music. I charged the battery three times in a day & there is some problem with sim card also becoz didn't get proper range any were. I give the mobile in NOKIA care Center at Kalyan. If the problem is not solving so that company can replace the mobile.

                            we already 06th time went to nokia care pimpri chinchwad to resolve issue in my handset , when we listen music,saw image or call . my cellphone repaired at 03 time company basis & 03 time in local nokia care pimpri branch. but issue not resolve yet. i purchase my mobile 15 june 2012 in warranty period.

                              myself, vishal dubey , purchased nokia 701 from prop. cell city, bijnore u.p.,imei no. [protected]. on 26/10/2011. problem is with network, not able to make voice calls, internet n sim card recognition. all other things are running well. they say ther is moisture on sim tray, which is not covered in warranty, n i m supposed to around rs.[protected]. after talk on mobile they came down to around[protected].
                              my question is if i have not water bathed my cell then how m i responsible 4 the moisture. nokia should hve known indian conditions and why they hve imported cells from korea which is comparatively cooler to india and being used in india a humid country- the same argument they r giving that u may hve moved from ac rooms to hotter rooms.
                              i want justice n kindly tell how could u help me. also i dont know what they are telling is really true . how do we locate the problem ? we hve to accept what they say.

                              I too have the same Nokia Phone and there is a problem in display. That is, the phone cannot be started. When I contacted the Customer Care, they told me that the problem is water logging and it does not come under warranty. So, they asked me to pay Rs.900/-. The irony is that I never dropped the Phone inside water or something else which may lead to the problem. Can somebody help ???

                                This is regarding the issue with the service for my Nokia Mobile. I have purchased Nokia C5-03 on 20-Feb-2012.
                                with IMEI No: [protected] it got problem of Touch Screen and Transceiver.so I gave it for the service at Sri Mobiles ( Authorised Nokia Service Centre ) with contact:[protected]. Its Touch Screen was replaced after 15-20 days of time.
                                Again the problem continued, again I have deposited it with the same Nokia Care People,
                                they took it and they again replaced the mother board with New IMEI No: [protected]. same problem persisted,
                                They took again for 15-25 days for the the rectifying that error.
                                They Changed the Mother board with new IMEI No: [protected].
                                They gave it saying as there wont be any problem in the future.
                                On 14th August, 2012 I have again deposited the mobile in the same Nokia care for the continuing problem in the mobile.
                                They took the Mobile and said it will take 25 Days of time to rectify it.

                                In the Span of 6 months I have been to Nokia care for more than 6 times for the same problem.
                                I don't know is the service problem or the mobile problem.
                                Below are the IMEI NUMBERS;
