Last year on 14.09.2018, i bought a nokia 6.1 plus handset from official site of nokia. At that time the product was pretty good but with time i was facing charging port issue in the handset. Regarding this i visited their authorized service center (Manav communication) in m2k rohini, sector -3 on 31.08.2019, where they said that they don't have the required parts and for which i have to wait 2-3 days. Then, on 04.09.2019, i gave them my phone (Which was in pretty good condition at that time) and has only charging port issue but they requested me to submit my phone in their service center for a week as they will update the software beside rectifying the charging port issue. After one week (On 10.09.2019) when i collected my handset, i noticed following multiple issues in the system which were not there earlier when i handed them my phone -
1) several dents and scratches on the handset,
2) cracks on screen,
3) switch button issue
4) heating issue.
I immediately informed them about these issues. For which they took extra 2 hours and handed me that handset after rectifying the issue of switch button only. They had no answer for the dents and cracks on the handset and for the heating issue they said "it's normal". Though their technician said that the temperature of the phone is more than the normal temperature, still they weren't bothered about what i was trying to say. On repetitive complaints they said i have to submit my phone again for a week in their center.
I even tried to communicate with the concerned professionals of nokia through their chat support, customer care and their mail support but no one is giving the correct solution for the problems that i am facing. On mail they said "we have arranged a call for your help and one of our professional will get back back to you within 48 hrs". But i didn't get any call from them.
I'm a working person and it's really difficult to manage the things without phone and i don't have enough time to visit their service center daily. Somehow i managed for the week when i submitted my phone in their authorized service center but again i cannot take the risk of submitting my phone in their service center after observing their unprofessional way of operating the handset. Even after investing my time, effort and money i am not getting any satisfactory response from support system of nokia.
I request the concerned authorities to look into this matter and if possible compensate me for the problem i'm facing as i can't even use my phone due to their heating issue. So, if possible kindly replace me another handset that i can use or refund my money.
Nokia India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
NOKIA has sold me 2 mobile phones NOKIA 5.1 PLUS for Rs. 19, 998/-. Within few months, the CHARGING PORTS of both the phones were damaged. When I approached their customer care centre, their response is NO SPARES AVAILABLE. Since one month, this is the response I am getting when ever I called them or visited them. I am really shocked, how can NOKIA can sell their product in India without having the spares in India. Readers / customers of this complaint will realize how difficult it is to wait for more than one month without a mobile phone nowadays. This is totally failure of Nokia in India.
