My nokia mobile phone's screen got blanked more than a month ago. I visited nokia care to got it repaired they advised me to call hmd as my phone is still in warranty period. I have first contacted hmd nokia customer service on 9th september 2019 and the representative assured me that they have arranged a pick up for my device. However, it's been more than a month now.in spite of multiple calls and assistance from nokia representatives my device has not been picked up. Is there any complaint escalation matrix.

    My nokia 6.1 plus phone having charging and overheating issues which caused damage to the screen (Half of the screen is blurred) and when visited the nokia center care, they said its a physical damage and cannot be contained under warranty. Moreover, the person at service center told me that i have to pay rs 9500 approx. For this damage. At present the same new phone costs rs 8200 on various online sites. Is it possible that part of a phone is costlier than the cost of the complete device? Nokia is doing possibly the worst they can. Nokia is not losing the customers but losing the trust.

      I bought a nokia 2.1 phone from amazon.in on 1 dec 2018, and it was delivered to me the next day. It is a low end device, but it was affordable and did what i wanted. Early in september 2019 it developed problems with sound: what i said into the microphone did not reach the number to which i was connected although i could hear the other side. There were no audible indications of incoming calls or messages or of alarms. Saved music files played as they should. As the phone was within the warranty period, nokia service told me that the phone would be collected from my home and returned after repair — all at no cost to me. This pleased me: but the reality turned out to be a nightmare. A man from the courier service (Ecom express) collected the phone on 9 sep 2019 but brought it back two days later saying that there was no imei. The phone has two imeis, but the courier people did not know how to find this information. When i told them about this, they sent a young and clearly ignorant employee who only took photos of the phone and paid no attention to what i tried to say. He left without a word and the phone stayed with me. I had to make still more phone calls (Having put one sim card in an older phone, also by nokia) and complain on the web site before things moved. On 13 sep, an older man came and took away the phone. I was delighted when it came back on 19 september with a job sheet saying "repaired". Indeed my speech was reaching the other side and the sound was working. However, whatever was done to the sound system created a new phenomenon — unwanted sounds some time (30 minutes or more) before each alarm that was set. There were also unwanted sounds after the alarm (Which worked correctly). On 6 october i sent an e-mail message about the matter to [protected]@hmdglobal.com (Hmd, also of finland, now owns the nokia brand).in reply, someone wrote back saying that the phone would be picked up from my home. When this did not happen, i "chatted" with people on the support web site several times until finally i was told, yet again, to take it to the nearest service centre. I had told them, more than once and in writing, that i am 69 years old and a victim of parkinson's disease, but they insist on telling me to run around town to have something set right which they had messed up. My first cell phone was a nokia, as was my second. The first gave trouble, but it was quickly fixed. The second never needed repair. After that i switched to another brand because nokia had closed down. When the brand appeared again, this time owned by hmd global, i was quick to buy what suited me. I now know that the new nokia is nothing like the original nokia.

      This is to confirm that your repair order with number[protected] is registered and you should keep your mobile phone ready to send it for repairs.The designated logistics provider-ECOM will come & pick up your phone for Repair & deliver it back once repaired.

      NOBODY CAME FOR THE PHONE. TEN DAYS LATER I GOT THIS MESSAGE:

      From Vishal Singh Chouhan, Nokia Mobile Care, on 16 October 2019

      In response to your concern regarding Nokia 2.1, as per our telephonic conversation we have requested you to kindly visit the service center they will check your device physically and will assist you for the same.

      My response, also on 16 October:

      You people mess up a repair job on a phone and then ask its owner, an old man who cannot move well owing to Parkinson's Disease, to take the damn phone to a Service Centre?. Is this what your warranty is worth? And what the hell was the meaning of the message below [see above for their promise of 6 October]?

      THERE WAS NO ANSWER.

      Also, a man named Ajey Mehta, Vice President India and APAC, HMD Global, did not respond to a message I sent him on WhatsApp.

      ADDED ON 28 NOV 2019

      Someone named Koushik Kelkar wrote, on 22 Nov 2019, the regrettably common lie that they had tried several times to call on my phone. I said that I seldom leave my home and that the phone showed no missed calls. There was no need to say that it was a lie. He wrote from a @flex.com address. Evidently Nokia repair work is passed on by HMD Global to Flex, a gigantic organism with many tentacles. This Koushik Kelkar said that if I still wanted "online pickup and repair"(have they developed technology so miraculous that physical object could be picked up and repaired on line? I should send them information about the device: model, IMEI, etc. I wrote back immediately with this information. Six days later, no one has come from their "logistics partner".

      ADDED ON 01 DEC 2019

      There has been no word from Shriman Kelkar or his ''logistics partner''. I think I now understand the game they are playing. I had sent them the Flipkart seller's invoice, which is dated 1.12.2018. It may be that the warranty is for one year and they were waiting so as to avoid repairing the thing for no more money.

        I purchased nokia 5.1+ couple of months before, after 1 months i faced problem in charging slot, nokia service centre changed my slot during that issue. Now again after a month i am facing the same charging slot problem. How many times i have to change this. Fed up with this phone. I need to do a fir in the name of nokia plz suggest. Refund or replacement i need.

          Team nokia,

          I had purchased 2 units of nokia 2.1 mobiles 14th oct 2018, initially phones performance was good but now both phones are not able to operate at all, the phone performance is below average.

          Visited to nokia service center kormanagala near form mall on 10th oct 2019 and asked for solution's so engineer restored the phone by performing factory level phone reset and asked to keep the phone in observation for 24 hours.

          Post phone reset also there is no improvements seen in the phone performance. Not even installed any native applications etc and phone is up to date updated so i never seen phone performance doping just after 1 year usage.

          We truest brand nokia and we bought these phones but this nokia 2.1 is failure model and very pathetic devices.

          We spent huge money for nokia 2.1 and these phones life does not even come for 1 year. Very bad nokia.

          Rs. 7100 * 2 devices = 14200 rupees we paid

          These both phones are in warranty and i am expecting phone replacements on priority or phones should work like initial days of the phone performance

          I am attaching the invoice and imei details so look into this immediately and get these phones replacements.

            My dear nokia recently i bought nokia 8.1 it's very disappointing me a lot. Not useful as per my working conditions. When i get notifications it's not displayed and sound alerts also same for all notifications. Much confused which notifications came.
            When notifications/alerts came is it necessary to unlock the phone and open each app? Think smart. I have wasted my time min 3 mins about this silence dark notifications. Every time i have to open check one by one all this #.
            If you don't have efficient engineers to design all this give me job. I will give good suggestions

            I purchase my nokia 3.1 plus in feb 2019 but after two month its screen is not working properly now in September month i give to servify for service my mobile to service center but they demand me for 5000/- rs for touch damage but my mobile never fall out from anywhere then why i give that money i badly dissatisfied

              Myself akash. I belong to kerala state, palakkad district. I've purchased nokia 5.1 plus [ imei ; [protected]] on 19th of march 2019. On 19th of september my mobile got damaged and i took it to nearest authorised service centre (Agnus flex care, palakkad, mob no : [protected]). They told its water damage and i've to pay for it, and i agreed and they committed to complete the repairs on or before[protected]. On the day when i contacted them they asked 2 more days time and again i agreed they asked time again and again. Now its october 10th and now on this day when i contacted them, they aren't responding properly. Now they are still saying the same reason!!! In 6 months time this is the third time i'm taking my mobile for repairs. And for every repairs they need minimum of 1 week time. And this time they're taking 20+ days now and still not repaired. Not at all happy with the product as well as customer care service. Kindly help me in solving my problem. My contact number : [protected]. I hope help will be provided as quick as possible...

                I purchase nokia 105 mobile from amazon on 4 may 2019. The charger is not charging up the phone properly. For this on 22 august 2019 i raised a complain on nokia helpdesk with ticket id 1174361.
                Every week when i call them for the updates regarding my complain they give their lame excuses and only say "the complaint is exaclated to higher authority". But till today i. E 7 oct 2019 no action been taken.
                Nokia India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                I purchased nokia 7.1 in summer but now I am facing issues of charging . Battery is draining on charging . After visiting Nokia sevice centre in Pimpri, Pune for 3 times I am facing same issue. Solve my issue as soon as possible.

                  My friend's (Suraj) mobile is on the warranty. But they charged me rs 1415 for changing the sub-board. They told me that your mobile has water damage and it doesn't cover the mobile warranty so you have to pay so we need to change the sub-board. I bought this mobile last december. They claim my warranty on the nokia head office but they charged me rs 1415 and provide me a handwritten bill. They cheated me because i confirm the sub-board price to another nokia service center and they provide me 900 rs quotation for sub-board.
                  Then i complain to the service center for two different prices for the same mobile model sub-board. So they told me that if you are not satisfied with the price, we remove our new parts and chang with your old sub-board. I believe in nokia but they do not treat me well, the executive who worked there, using bad words on me.
                  I requested to you kindly resolve my problem.

                    I purchased nokia 8.1 recently in the month of may, the exact date being 9th may 2019. After only 2 months since the date of purchase, my phone display turned black, though the vibration and ring was still working. On visiting the service centre they identified that water had entered the phone, though i had been extremely careful. I had to spend 4000 rupees out of my own pocket irrespective of the warranty being present. Post this today i. E. 3rd may 2019 my phone display was lost yet again due to the same problem. I have a tendency to sweat a lot and it might have been the reason of water entering the phone. I have been using phones from various other companies over the years and never had it happened that i had to visit a service centre twice due to the same problem. I would strongly ask nokia to look into the issue and get my phone fixed free of cost or take back my phone and give me my money as it is extremely annoying to face the problem

                      NOKIA has sold me 2 mobile phones NOKIA 5.1 PLUS for Rs. 19, 998/-. Within few months, the CHARGING PORTS of both the phones were damaged. When I approached their customer care centre, their response is NO SPARES AVAILABLE. Since one month, this is the response I am getting when ever I called them or visited them. I am really shocked, how can NOKIA can sell their product in India without having the spares in India. Readers / customers of this complaint will realize how difficult it is to wait for more than one month without a mobile phone nowadays. This is totally failure of Nokia in India.

                        Hi, i am abhilasha from paonta sahib, h. P. I purchased nokia 5.1 on nov 2nd, 2018, it had working fine since last month, (Sept, 2019) the phone's speaker stopped working. Since the phone is still in warranty, i gave my phone to service centre, yamunanagar. Its been a month today, i havent got my phone back yet. The people working in the company are giving me crap like, we are changing flex, we re doing the software, but i dont think they have done any repairment. I am fed up with the lies and i am asking for a new phone. I, write to file a complaint against your company poor services and ignorance. Being a reputed brand, i trusted and purchased from this company, but now i surely wont recommend it further to anyone. Also, i need you to see the problem and get me a new phone.                           I had given my handset for auto touch repair on 07.09.2019 still today (30.09.2019) i didn't get it deliver and there reply that it is send to pune service centre for repair and it completed but the handset not deliver to baramati not even handover to directly when i ask to give it to me i will come to pune they reply that u given mobile in baramati so u have to collect it from baramati but they are not courier it up to now very disappointed with nokia service...

                              Sir, there was port issue in the above set. For replacing connector, i was told to keep the devise for 8 days. I had no option as the devise is under company warranty. I would not like to recommend your nokia device to any one on account poor after sale services and that too under warranty. This is nothing but cheating. The device cannot be kept for just replacing connector for such a long period. We will not recommend nokia device to our friends n relatives because of poor services.

                                My nokia 6.1 plus one charging port stopped working. Its pull down menu was also not working. So i took it to the nokia care (Mobile connect) in chandigarh sector 22c. They told me that they will check the phone and repair it if the warranty conditions are met. After checking the phone they told me that the phone has got liquid damage which will not come under warranty. They told me to pay for the repair which is rs:13000. I reminded them about the charging problem almost all nokia 6.1plus phones are facing and showed number of complaints from the internet. After arguing for long they at last agreed to repair the charging port but not to solve pull down menu problem. I have got the charging problem solved but the pull down menu is still not working. I am damn sure that my phone was not exposedto any liquid contact. Now i feel cheated after spending 15000 rupees for a phone from a brand which is not loyal to its customers. My phone is only 4 months old.

                                  Regarding charging port issues they told the common thing liquid damaged.
                                  Even port is losses and didn't connect properly. After solving the charging port from kolkata bagbazar service center with payment faced the same problem after 3 months. But now another care located at esplanade, kolkata told adhesive use for fixing the phone isn't a othorized glue. So it doesn't come under warranty. Device wasn't repair from outside. So the adhesive is given from care. But is not approved at another. So warranty service is not available although repair from authorise care. So why the warranty is given? Is any solution available or this type of business is going on...

                                      I have given my nokia handset 8.1 on 4th of september for repairing. They told me without checking that the phone had water lock and due to water damage they consider it in as out of warranty and promised me to return my phone in one week. After one week i called them they told me that they changed the connector but phone is still not going to start and asked me to wait for one week. Then i called after some days they asked me to call nokia customer care when i call nokia customer care they asked me to wait for 48 hours. Whenever i called nokia customer care they just asked me to wait for 48 hours. I have been calling them since 13 september. When i call nokia service centre they said to me that they didn't received spare parts. I am totally frustrated. No one is giving a commitment when they return my phone in working conditions. Today almost 3 weeks passed still they asked me to wait. I am messed up by waiting all the time

                                      I purchased my Nokia 8.1 from Haryana 2 month before. My phone was completely dead and I had given it for repairing on 4th sep. They said me to wait for 1 week and asked me to pay 500 advance and I gave them. They changed the connector and after that they said we changed the connector but phone is not starting and now we order a new part and promise to give my phone on 13 sep. Still I didn't get my phone back. I am frustrated for waiting so long. I called almost daily but no one is giving a commitment when they will return my phone in working conditions.

                                        Hi. I m from amravati, maharshtra. I brought nokia 7 plus about 1 year ago, now it had stopped charging because of a charging socket issue. When i visited the service station they told me that they would have to replace the charging socket and ic and it would charge 1800. Now they r telling me that it cannot be repaired here so they have to send the phone to company. They r saying to pay 11500 to get a new nokia 7.1 and take the older one. This wasn't expected from a brand like nokia. It has extremely disappointed me. I will never ever trust nokia again
