I had purchased a X6 model Nokia mobile handset bearing IMEI no. [protected] on 28/12/2010 from Tinsukia. Recently the lock key switch got detached on its own and the sound system is also not working properly. It has been mentioned in the cash memo that the mobile device comes with a 12months warranty. So I had approached the Nokia care centre in Tinsukia regarding the problem but they disclosed that the lock key switch does not fall under the warranty of the mobile device and hence the case has to be replaced at my own cost.
I would be highly grateful if you kindly look into the matter and take needful action at the earliest. Hoping you will look into the matter and send an acknowledgement on my email id.

      I bought a Nokia C7 handset (IMEI: [protected]) for Rs. 19,000 from a shop in Kottayam (Kerala) in Dec. 2010. In June '11 the handset suddenly went dead. I gave it for repair to the nearest Nokia Care Centre in Pala (Kottayam Dt., Kerala).They re-installed the software and gave it back but after a few days, the handset went dead again. I gave it for repair again & again they re-installed the software and gave it back. But after few days, the handset went dead agin for the 3rd time. This time the Nokia Care people sent it to Delhi (Job Sheet No.[protected]/110624/18) & I got it back after 2 weeks in the 1st week of July '11 (Replacement Note: RN297798 dated[protected].On enquiring with them whether it had been replaced with a new piece, they replied in the negative and said that the same handset had been repaired. Soon I noticed a few problems with the handset which I mention below:

      (1) The Call button (Green) is not lighting up.
      (2) There is a lot of vibration from the ear-piece while answering incoming calls which distorts the voice.
      (3) The battery life has decreased considerably.
      (4) Lot of finger-prints & smudges are visible on the underneath surface of the screen which indicates that the handset has been opened & repaired.

      I ignored these defects because I was under the impression that this was my original handset which I purchased. But yesterday I became very suspicious & checked the IMEI of the handset with that printed on the Box. To my utter surprise the handset had a different IMEI No. (IMEI No. [protected]) which meant that the handset had been replaced. But instead of providing me with a brand new handset, I had been provided with an old, refurbished & defective handset.

      I certainly did not expect that Nokia would cheat its customer this way. I have requested Nokia to replace this handset with a brand new one at the earliest.

      nokia,c7 — incoming call voice

      I have brought a C7 on 1.09.2011 , after 1 day back screeching sound comes when u make a call or receive a call,though i have consulted nokia care,chennai and they have replaced the speaker still it makes screeching voices, i would rather ask a question to nokia is buying a phone of 17,000 rupees is worth it ???

      Nokia C7 — Request to replace the present defective Nokia handset with a new one

      my nokia c7 phone not working repair from last two month, one time i have repair it in nokia care nashik road, but problem not solve in it network problem, charging shows but not done, hanging problem, speakerphonee problem at the time of call, now i drop it in nagpur nokia care, so please Request to replace the present defective Nokia handset with a new one, due to this handset i have loss in my trading business, please give it imaged.

            Owing to the name, fame and pioneership of Nokia in the mobile
            industry, I happened purchase Nokia X Press Music on 21.02.2010 through the
            Big Bazar. Now I found that I am cheated because the instrument is reported dead
            and found worthless for future use.

            During the 10th, 11th and 12th month of the said purchase I found that the calls
            are disconnected without reason. I was under impression that it is a range or
            net work problem. Subsequently I furnished the instrument at the Nokia care
            R.T.C. Cross Road, Chikkadpally, Hyderabad. They expressed their inability to
            repair it. I like to state that within the short period of purchase the machine turned
            worthless and hopeless.It is true that the final report of motherboard failure
            comes to me after the expiry of warranty period(FEW DAYS) but as I said above
            symptoms/signs have been noticed and performance started deteriorate into zero.
            It is undoubtedly manufacturing defect of this product made in China . Now I
            am getting information on similar failures of this model from different
            persons. Aggrieved people are ready to depose before the court of Law. I spent
            Rs. 5000/- for this product I will have to get minimum three years of service/performance else it is acase of cheating in daylight

              Dear friends, I would like to share my experience with you. I bought a Nokia C5-03 on 22nd April, 2011 but unfortunately the touch panel of the set stop working from 16th June, 2011. So I submitted my handset to the Nokia care (Barrackpore, West Bengal) On 17th June, 2011 & after receiving the handset they estimated my delivery date as within 7-10 days. But after 10 days when I asked them, they said, "the spare parts for my hand-set is not available but we expect to repair the hand-set within next week". After 1 week when I called them again the said the same thing...Now It's 16th July, 2011 & just about 1 month from the submitting date of my handset & still I don't know when it will be repaired...

              So if it repaired today (which as per my opinion is nothing but a day dream) still it will take 1 month of 12 months warranty...

              SO BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO BUY A NOKIA HANDSET...

              Nokia C5-03 has design issues for touch pad
              If you check the handset, front screen have a gape in the edge of the screen, so when you talk on the phone and phone come to contact with sweating ears. The sweating enter in the gap of the screen and goes to the main screen. that, the reason it's touch screen is not reliable with this phone.
              After some time black space appear on touch screen and touch screen stop working.
              Now if you visit nokia care centre they consider this as a physical damage and charge for touch screen replacement even though mobile is under warranty

                Nokia E 63 — Lost Mobile

                I took a rickshaw today morning - 8th March 2011 outside thane station west at 5:30 A.M till Mulund check naka. Then i took a rickshaw from Mulund check naka till Bhandup (W), suddenly i realised my mobile was not in my pocket. I took a rickshaw & tried to catch the thane rickshaw guy but couldnt trace him & did not even find him outside thane (W) station. Called on my mobile it was ringing but no one answered after sometime it became unavailable.

                    sir i purchase my nokia 1280 phone last agst 2010 and now due to some technical fault that is to be s/w off, then i went to nokia priority center add- RDC RAJ NAGAR GHAZIABAD , here one executive looked my phone and says that due water fall your phone is s/w off .and to repairing will be charge 350/rupees .then i acept the charge and phone droped there dated will be[protected] and i collect my phone yesterday dated ,[protected].when i recieved phone then actually that was ok , but after 1 hrs i reach my home then i see my phone switched off, and when i tried to switched ON. then phone not ON. problams is remain as .they are not taking responsbilty.

                      Purchase my Mobile about 7 month back and i up date my mobile through ovi sute if it suggest few days back i try to take picture from it but it but it didnt open its application try to open but it return back i . i have used camera one month back after it i updated my software too.
                      i showed it to local nokia shop he try formate it but it didnot work.
                      we dont have nokia care in my city and i dont know it is software or hardware problem please suggest.

                      i try to update my software but ovi suit and pc suit says its latest software and dont update it


                      shopkeeper say its a software problem you have to re load it from the nokia problem is due to i use ovisute to up date my software
                      i want to re install my software please help

                        I am KAPIL MISHRA, I bought a NOKIA E5-00 on 13/02/2011. IMEI number is as follow [protected]. I found a problem in my Nokia E-5. The keypad lock is not opening. E-mails, msgs and phone calls are coming but I am not able to attend the incoming calls as well as not able to access the mails and msgs. I have submitted my device three times @ Nokia Care, New Sanganer Road, Jaipur due to appearing the same problem. They have tried to resolve the same by two times @ local level, when the problem is not resolved in two times then they sent my device to NOIDA as Mr. Amit Jain (may be any employee) said. I have received the phone back yesterday in evening and I am facing the same problem again. Every time when I received it from Nokia Care, this same problem is occurring in couple of hours.
                        First complaint on 25th June 2011 and received back 29th June 2011 in evening.
                        Second same complaint (job sheet no.[protected]/110630/19) on 30th June 2011 and received back 04th July in evening.
                        Third same complaint (job sheet no.[protected]/110705/9) on 05th July 2011 and received back 12th July 2011.
                        This fourth time I have got the same problem. Now I will not submit this to Nokia Care.
                        I need to replace that device by your side else wise I would forcefully have to go to CONSUMER COURT for the same.
                        Waiting for your revert.

                        Nokia E5 — Improper Services

                        I purchased a Nokia E5 on 10th December,2010.

                        It faced a problem in the circuit within the first month. I have given my cell to nokia care for first time on 10th January,2011. Again on 21st February,2011 for 4 days, and on 28th February,2011, when the cell was replaced and i was handed back on 10th March,2011 after replacement (with new imei no.).

                        The problems faced is the vibration used to get off every time after removing the phone from charging. The vibration starts automatically after few hours. Many times the ringer also used to get off.

                        Due to this I am not able to know whether phone is ringing or not.

                        It is a big trouble in normal speedy life as it is not possible to know that the cell is ringing and due to this the important works are delayed a lot.

                        Hoping to get immediate solution on this matter.

                          I had purchased a Nokia E 7 mobile phone a few months back and it started giving problem soon. On June 30th the phone started displaying " Faulty USB " however on keeping it switched off overnight helped it restart well on1st July. However on 2nd morning the display did and not work and in a bid to restart the phone did not start/ switch on once it was powered off.

                          I had submitted the phone for repairs to Nokia center on 2nd itself and in the evening was told that now it will have to be sent to factory for repairs and will be back within 7 days ( as had no choice accepted the same ). However subsequent phone calls to Service Center and their customer care number 30303838, till yesterday, conveyed that it is UNDER REWORK.

                          Meanwhile had requested for CHANGE OF PHONE as would not like to get a phone repaired in just 3 months after paying 28500/- for the same. But till date no communication from them. Also am without phone ( a decent one which i can use to store data/ check mail etc for which i bought E7 ) for last 10 days thereby making me suffer both professionally & mentally.

                              I have purchased Nokia handset on 8/05/2011 product nokia C 6 white. After two days i found the battery back up is very poor, i have charged the battery everyday however for this i went to dealer whom i have purchased. They said u have to charged the mobile for atleast 7 hours in offset mode, i have follow the instruction what they told me,but still the problem persist. Now a days another problem occured of voice distortion again saturday i went to my dealer to inform the this problem about voice clarity is not fine and voice is distorted, nokia dealer person they committed the issue of speaker but they refused to change my handset. I frustated for this kindly help me out for this.

                                i hav purchased a new nokia c3 handset 2 months back .. it just gt sm problem wd its keypad on its own i went to nokia care they r saying it dnt cm under warranty bcoz its has gt sm internal damage ,bt hw cm it can hav such thng wen d cell is wd me n neva eva fell nor even hav ne prblm just its keypad stopped wrking on its own ....they r charging a good amount wdout considering into warranty period .......n the service will be cmpleted afetr 10 days they r saying .....

                                Nokia — keypad with 2 series not working

                                my phone noika 2700c with imei no [protected] was showing some problem over a month under warrenty period.

                                on 12 sunday at 10 pm it get switched off suddenly on 13 monday i cheked it nokia care at najafgarh they sent my phone in company for checking & repairing.

                                on 21 thursday i get received my phone back.

                                on 24 saturday it again started problem now my keypad with 2,5,8,0 not working

                                i cheked it again at nokia care at najafgarh they saying my phone is liquified & cancelled my warrenty as well.

                                plese take some immediate step as soon as possible

                                  My Nokia 5130c-xpress music mobile has the software problem due to which my screen turns white and doesn't proceed further when the mobile is switched ON. After getting repaired for 5 times in NOKIA CARE the same problem remains and that too just within a month of being repaired. Its a request that please take some further actions against my complaint.

                                    My mobile handset(Nokia C3-00) which is just about 6 month old was malfuntioning - lacking in clarity and volume on both outgoing and incoming conversation.

                                    I had taken it to a Nokia Care centre where the problem was identified. Apparently the two microphones have been damaged due to severe corrosion. The service centre mentioned that ingress of "liquid" was reason for this damage which is not admissible under warranty.

                                    While the mobile has not been dunked in any "liquid", probably moisture or seepage of perspiration was the reason.

                                    However the micrpophones are not fully shielded from exposure to external environment and with high humidity level in a city like Kolkata it is expected that the design of the product and quality of components should be resistant to such conditions ( at least during the tenure of the products warranty period + extended warranty period i.e 1+1 year).

                                    Anyway I agreed to the estimated cost of around Rs 850/- for repairing the set. However while preparing the documents they mentioned a clause that there is risk of total damage to the set during the course of repair for which the service centre would not bear any liability. I did not agree to their terms and took the set back without the repairs.

                                    My submission is as follows :

                                    "A product in which the components have corroded during normal usage well within the warranty period should be replaced free of cost".

                                    I seek redressal of this isuue.

                                    Nokia — Malfunctioning of C3 model

                                    I purchased a Nokia C3 mobile phone in Jan 2011.

                                    Firstly , push mail was not working.
                                    For that I had to go a service centre a couple of times and got a software upgrade.

                                    Now , phone hangs very often , mailbox doesn't open quickly , alarm starts ringing at midnight !

                                    I went to the service center again and now they say that I should download all data (phonebook , messages , calender etc) and the instrument will be sent to Delhi for software upgrade or repair.( God knows how many days it will take to come back !)

                                    I am thoroughly disappointed , pl suggest what to do .

                                      I had bought a nokia N79 last month and started facing display problems.
                                      I had given it to Magnus Nokia care in jaynagar, who took ten days to identify the problem as they didnt have the spares for it. After ten days they said that it needs to be sent to Delhi as this problem cant be fixed in Bangalore.
                                      Its been another 20 days and its still under repair.
                                      Want to know that is this the service provided by Nokia Care?
                                      How long do i need to wait after spending 15k for the phone.?

                                      I need to charge a complaint against Nokia Care for their poor service.
                                      Don't trust Nokia products and services. I bought a new sealed pack Nokia 5800 ExpressMusic. From the first day itself it's having display problems. I had given it to the Nokia care for repairing. At first they told it will take 1 hour to repair. After repairing they had delivered it to me, but the problem was not resolved. After that they say excuses and ask to come and collect after 2-3 days. I was calling the Nokia care for more than 10 times. Every time they say the display panel will come on next day. So I decide to buy back it. They had given my mobile back after signing that I had received the mobile after repairing. When I complained to the Nokia customer care about this, they are saying they cannot take any compaint regarding this as the mobile is with me. I am writing this to make people aware about the Nokia fraud so that no one should get in to the Nokia trap.

                                      For Basic phone models, complaints are less for Nokia. But it you spending more than Rs2000 for you mobile go for some other company.

                                      Visit the Nokia Care in any city once. You will never buy any Nokia Product in your life. On seeing the crowd from outside you will think that some recruitment rally is happening there. People are flooded with their Nokia mobile to repair.
                                      hi,this is dr .satyam chakraborty.my nokia mobile handset no 3600s got damaged on 3rd august 2010.I took it to the nokia care& made earnest request to repair it as first as they can,because I am a resident doctor & need to be on call 24 hrs.I didnot have an accessory mobile also.they didn't pay hid to my request & told it will take at least 10 days .I borrowed hand-set for 10 days.On 14th of aug I had to return the set.After that whenever I call them they ask the Job sheet no & promise to call me back, the story is repeated everyday.My juniors can't contact me in time of emergencies which has led to some unfortunate incidents.Today they told me that their engineer was in leave and it won't be repaired before raksha-bandhan.the concerned nokia care is pareek mobile care ,314 vijay path tilak nagar,jaipur.My job sheet no was 100804 39 . I hope my prayer will be given an ear & few lives could perhaps be saved.

                                      Nokia — bad service of nokia care

                                      i have purchase nokia x1-01, and its display get broken then i deposited my set in nokiacare(land mark complex,karanager,chowksrinagar,jamu and kashmir) they told me u will get your set within 7 days my jobsheet no. is 1657 ,i have summitted my set on 6th of august and today is 23th of september almost 44 days now they are not able to tell me the status of my set what a pathetic service nokia is providing us . we buy stuff of the big companies expecting its service will be good but now i m so fade up with the services of nokia care i would suggest that this kind of nokia care should be shut down so that people will not expect the services and will manage something .

They gave me Delivery date on 08/10/11 . Without set it is very difficult to run my personal and office work, I requested Mr Suvam ( mob:- [protected] ) on 28/09/11 and 29/09/11 for early delivery but i failed . But now also on 8/10/11 and 10/10/11 after long persuation I am not getting any response from your care centre .
                                      please take action for early restoration of my mobile set .

                                        I purchased a Nokia X3-02 handset from the Nokia Showroom at Indiranagar CMH Road-on June 3rd 2011.
                                        Total Bill amount : Rs 8198.00
                                        (Handset value - Rs 7618.10 + Scratch gard Rs 189.52+ CVAT @ 5%)

                                        I am extremely disappointed with the performance of the phone. In less than a month I faced problem with the touch sensor and have serviced the phone from Nokia Care. I was told by Dhanush K from the Nokia Care that the touch pad was replaced.
                                        However this issue with the touch sensor has cropped up again. Most times the touch does not sense the settings and also the phone gets switched off by itself.

                                        I have visited the Nokia Care again today- July 8th 2011 and received a pathetic service from them.
                                        Whilst Dhanusk K confirmed that the touch pad was replaced, Pradeep Manohar the manager of Nokia care mentioned it was not. As you notice, there were conflicting answers received and they were not serious about their statements.
                                        The policy of Nokia is that handsets with technical issues will need to be kept under observation after which a job sheet will be issued and sent to the head office who will further decide whether the product needs to be replaced or not. To note that they are unsure and cannot guarantee if replacement of the product will be assured. This was confirmed to me by Mahender, Center Manager and Pradeep Manohar.

                                        As mentioned my phone is only 35 days old and am not willing to have it serviced again. It is highly frustrating for me to be walking up to the Nokia care and explaining the issue time and again.

                                        Hence I have no intentions to waste my time further explaining or showing the issue to anyone in the showroom or Nokia Care.
                                        Servicing a phone and recurring of the issue in such a less time itself is a proof that the product sold to me is a defective piece.

                                        Having said that please DO NOT ask me to get the product serviced again as I am NOT willing to do so. All the accessories that were provided along with the handset will be returned. Please either provide a replacement new phone or refund my money at the earliest. I have repeatedly mentioned the issue to Nokia care since my visit and will not tolerate their junk service any further. Please help me get my money back or a replacement new product at the earliest.
