I brought Nokia N79 in July from Alfa center,Vile Parle Mumbai.IMEI No.[protected]. First one and half month is was working fine.After that it was started hanging. Sometimes application was not opening.If I switched it OFF and then after some time switched it ON then for some hours (6 to 7 hours) it works properly.Then again the same problem persists. I took it to Nokia care. They said because of virus it may have happened. They changed the software and also formated the meory card. But after two days it shows the same problem. And this time also I have not downloaded any thing. Second time also they changed the software.They advise me that if the same problem happens then try to use it without memory card. I tried that but then also it was hanging. That memory card is working fine in other mobile so problem was not in the memory card. 3rd time they said change your sim card. It may be happening because of sim card. I changed my sim card last week from vodafone and then got the same problem once again.Forth time I went to Nokia care (Saturday 09/10/10 morning 10 o'clock) and they changed my software one more time. I was hoping that was the last time but on the same day evening I was having hanging problem with vibration and screen colour changing automatically . It was really frustrating.Buying such a high value mobile and getting hanging problem within 2 months is really frustrating. I went to Nokis care four times within one month. I changed my mobile from Motorola to Nokia because we were having trust on Nokia. But after getting this experience we can not trust any company. There is no proper resolution for our complaint from Nokia care. They are continously saying the problem is resolved but the problem again arises in next few hours.They have kept the mobile set four times and for some time more than day. Also there is no proper justification given for the same.. Now we are helpless and unable to understand the problem. Request your kind assistance for the same.

            Yeh mobile kahi bhi repair nahi ho pa raha hai including nokia care sabhi jagah se yahi jwab aa raha hai ki repair nahi ho payega.

              Sir,

              I’ve bought a Nokia Handset Model No. 2700c (IMEI No. [protected]) from a local retailer Sen & Co. located at Badarpur, Assam on 30-05-10. On 02-08-10 all of a sudden the handset got switched off and I could not switch it on further.

              On 20-08-10 I went to Silchar Nokia care, Chanda Commercial Center, Shyama Prasad Road, Silchar – 788801 to get it repaired. After showing the handset they told me that Rs. 350 will be charged from me. They prepared a Job Sheet against it which bears no. CCC 7553 under the head of “Out of Warranty” and showing problem of “TEMPERED” also gave me delivery date of 24-08-10.

              On 24-08-10 I went to Silchat to take the delivery of my handset but I was informed that it could not be repaired there and the repair could be done only in Guwahati which is overnight journey from Silchar. I requested them to do the necessary to get it repaired and also I agreed to pay the price. But they refused to do so and asked me to move to Guwahati. On that day they handed over me a “Technical Verification Form” which clearly pointed out the ELS report as “Componant Burn” with remarks “RWR” which is not covered under the warranty although my set is in warranty period and they returned my handset to me.

              On 18-09-10 I got a call from Nokia Care, Silchar and I was asked to visit them imediately. After reaching Silchar, which is 30 KM from my home town, Badarpur, I came to know that there is nothing to do with me and the call was by MISTAKE.

              Now, on the basis of above mentioned facts I wish to place some questions before you to be answered satisfactorily.

              1. What is the detailed procedure of getting a handset repaired?
              2. If there is any particular problem which can not be repaired in a particular Service Centre then is it not a duty of that particular service centre to get it repaired from another service centre?
              3. Why the service centre do not mention the list of repairing that can be done there and exclusion if any?
              4. If a service centre refuses to repair a handset then is there no option left to the customer but to throw away the handset?
              5. What is the procedure of complaint redressal and what action is taken by the authority if there is any fault on behalf of the service centre and its executives?
              6. I filled up a customer feedback form on 24-08-10 and dropped that on the complaint & suggestion box. What action is taken on the basis of that?

              I strongly protest and condemn the attitude of the personnel there and I request you to take necessary steps, so that not only my handset get repaired in a proper way with proper detection of exact problem but also the erratic personnel should mind their business with just behaviour.

                I purchased nokia 5230 mobile last month. Its giving problem always. charging is not proper. hanging, slow processing eventhough memory is less. after formatting the phone in nokia service center, kanchipuram also i am not getting proper condition of my mobile. totally the mobile is waste for me. now i am using some other mobile. after purchasing a costly mobile now i am have purchased the ordinary mobile.that mobile is my one month salary.
                give me proper answer or i will go to court for legal purpose.

                Nokia Phone Model 5230 — Not working

                I have recently bought a new Nokia phone - Model 5230 ,( IMEI [protected] ) from a retail shop at Mumbai. With in a day, I realized a serious defect in it, which is presumably a manufacturing defect. The camera hangs often. I took it to the nearest Nokia Custmer care centre and they have admiited a fault in it. Further they told me the repair facilty is not available at Mumbai , it is to be sent to New Delhi , would take around 7 days. I gave them the phone It is now more than 8 days and am yet to get my phone. As they have not honor the committment, I am not comfortable with the response of the Customer care service.

                I did not expect a new phone would be defective and also the Company takes such a long time to repair the phone. If they can't repair , they should at least replace the phone. I one again request the concnerned person at the Nokia H.O / Custmer care and see that my phone is repaired or replaced without any further delay.

                Best option is go for legal action, because of they're not going to change your mobile or also they're not going to provide support.

                Nokia 5230 — video capture

                i have purchased nokia5230 from dreamz communications- G10 shri ram tower, 13 ashok marg, lucknow on 02/09/2010.the phone IMEI is [protected]. the phone is having withe problem of vedio captured from the camera. some times it records the sound and part of the clip and some time it did not record the sound along with the clip. Another problem is that the phone swith off and restart again automatically.i have asked from manymobile hubs, they said it is the problem of mobile software.so i updated the software online two months ago.still i am having the problem. pls! do something........

                  The Nokia(X-6) IMEI:353422/04/394754/7 purchased on 21/07/2010 at Mobile Store(New No.77, Arundele Street, Mylapore, Chennai - 600004) is not working as the internal memory is not getting detected (16GB).
                  I have given the mobile for service on (09/09/2010 ) in the nokia care(Old No 171, New No:98, Peters Road, Near to Satyam theatres, Gopalpuram, Chennai-600086) but after getting mobile back on 27/09/2010. After 3 Days still facing the problem .Please take proper action against the company

                        This complaint is regarding to my Nokia X3 handset . on 24/Aug/2010 i buy a brand new phone after one month i found my set didn't switch on then i took my set to nokia care Dwarka SEC-4 New Delhi .

                        when i first went there most of the people were angry by there poor service at that very day i got an vague idea about there service .
                        they submit my phone on 25/sep/2010 and promise me to repair it and handover me by 29/sep/2010 .
                        when i reach there i found shop was closed they are very clever they know Wednesday is off they give me that date
                        ok next day i went there they told me to wait after 1 hr when i ask about my phone nobody answers me after half n hour they told me to come after 1 week ie 6/oct/2010 again Wednesday
                        on 7/oct/2010 i went there . they give me false statements that my phone is in company they cant repair it it will take time at 29sep they told same statement and again they repeat it and they give me new date 12/10/10 . Sir i have attached the service job sheet please take a look you will get it

                        The staff is very bad here they don't understand the need of customer from 13 days i dont have any phone my all important works are stuck
                        and they dont understand
                        by watching there careless attitude i dont think that on 12/10/10 they will give me my phone
                        please help me sir . I am very frustrated by there attitude and service please take some action and help me

                              I HAVE NOKIA N79 TYPE-RM-348 MOBILE WHICH I PURCHASED THIS YEAR. RIGHT FROM BEGINNING THIS MOBILE SUDDENLY VIBRATES AND THE SCREEN COLOUR CHANGES. NOW IT HAS REACHED A STAGE WHERE THE MOBILE SUDDENLY HANGS. ON SHOWING IT IN THE SHOWROOM I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE ENGINEER THAT THE MEMORY CARD HAD VIRUS SO THE MOBILE WAS GIVEN BACK TO ME AFTER REMOVING THE MEMORY CARD AND I WAS TOLD TO CHANGE THE MEMORY CARD. HOWEVER THE MOBILE HUNG WITHOUT THE MEMORY CARD IN IT. ON CHECKING FOR VIRUS IT WAS OBSERVED THAT IT WAS NOT AFFECTED BY VIRUS MOREOVER THIS MEMORY CARD WAS WORKING FINE IN OTHER MOBILES THEREFORE THE REASON GIVE WAS FALSE. THE SAME WAS CONVEYED TO THE SERVICE ENGINEER. AS THE SAME PROBLEM REOCCURRED THE MOBILE WAS TAKEN AND WAS RETURNED THE NEXT DAY SAYING IT WAS READY. ON BRINGING IT BACK HOME THE SAME PROBLEM ONCE AGAIN OCCURRED I.E., HUNG. SO I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE SERVICE CENTER IN PATTOM. THIS TIME I WAS TOLD THAT THE SET HAS TO GO TO DELHI FOR REPAIR. NOW AFTER 12 DAYS I RECEIVED IT AND WITHIN 2 DAYS THE VIBRATION AND CHANGE OF SCREEN COLOUR HAS STARTED AGAIN.                               sir, i purchased nokia 6300 six months ago..1 month back my phone started switching off automatically. on handiong over my phone to nokia care centre several times i m not getting satisfactory result. my phone remains with you in 20 days a month. even sending to your bhopal office for repair i m not getting satisfactory result. Is ur staff not competent enough to repair a phone? i m not at all satisfied with ur service. Because of this instance i will not purchase any more nokia handsets...

                              i 'm in big problem,i talked technical support executive many times.there is no positive response.nokia care people don't behave properly.they take time to respond on asking they don't reply.when i cal manager of nokia care he says he left the job.i've submitted my mob atporr. & sons pvt ltd,chennai.
                              from 7 months i've visited nokia care twice a month atleast.i want a good handset for what i've paid 15000 only nothing else.
                              i've submitted my handset almost 7- 8 times for same problem,sometimes i was given the same jobsheet.

                                I purchase NOKIA Model 2700C from Sagar Word, 29, Sagar market, Kanpur against B/No. 2134 dtated 31.07.10 but from the day my hand set Hang and Phone Momary auto deleted & Mob. auto start any time.                                   i went to nokia care dharmotalla branch kolkata for my e mail access on mobile and for sometimes hang out complain after getting back at present i m unable to connect net to my PC though it was working nicely my phone software is also not updated again contacting they are demanding 300 /saying it is not their work.its ridiculous

                                    I had purchased Nokia N79 mobile set from M/s Anmol Watches & Electronics (P) Ltd, Chandigarh on 22.6.09. Thereafter, it developed fault in graphic display as was pointed out to me by Nokia Care Centre at Patiala. As per them, set was required to be sent at Noida Service Centre for correction of display and it will take about a month. On receipt of set after a month, all necessary softwares for day to day functioning like Wavesecure, Oxford dictionary, anti-virus and updation etc were removed. Both the Nokia Care centres were contacted but they expressed their helplessness. Kindly help me out.

                                    I purchased my N79 in the month of Aug'09. Now since last some days i observed that its FM player & music player is not working. I submitted the phone for repair on 19/12/09 to "NOKIA CARE, DWARKA, NEW DELHI" They told me that the cell shall be repaired by the evening. Since 19th till this very moment, I'm calling them reguraly. They have only one answer everytime that Sir your phone is open & we are already working on it. We shall get back to you by the evening for sure. And that evening never comes.
                                    I have never expected this kind of service from NOKIA. And believe me from now onwards neither i myself will purchase any Cellphone from NOKIA, nor i'll advise any of my friends & relatives.
                                    It has been mental humiliation.

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    I have Nokia N79 handset. The handset was getting hanged again and again, I visited the Nokia service centre on 28th Dec 2009 and my Job sheet number was 72. There they said my hanset's keypad was not working so I submitted my handset and they took my handset. Till then my handset was under warranty. They returned my handset after 10 days, when i received my handset I was still facing the same problem, I told them but they said its okay every set keys gets stuck and they kept arguing. I wrote in the receipt that I was not satisfied and keys still seem to get stuck, they took the receipt and handed me the handset. 20 days later I started facing the same problem but till now my warranty has ended, when i visited service center this time they are saying keypad needs to be replaced and they will charge around Rs 1120 for it. They could have changed it easily when it was under warranty but they didnt. I want my handset to get new keypad free of cost as I was facing the same problem as I did in warranty period that too in very short span of time.

                                    This is reference to the Message seen vide the Net .I am auser of Mobikle Nokia N-79 Mobile Phone. Frankly speaking I never ever would have gone into the ditch of Nonsense application.However I just want to know if will be able to get a new Nokia series of Mobile Phone afterr this Mobile is thrown off. The excisting one is really a white elephant for me.

                                      Last day i have bought Nokia 2700C from a dealer in Gurgaon, Bhim Nagar. As you know it's a multimedia set it must have Data cable as if it does not have data cable then what is benefit of multimedia set company like Nokia should think about it, i am feeling cheated by the company and even company should think about it like company is sailing a multimedia set and not giving a simple data cable which work 80 Rs. to 100 Rs. only, which force to feel cheated a customer.

                                        hello myself sumit,, i have submitted my nokia c3 imei no. [protected] to nokia care in tilak nagar ,delhi,,,, on the name of screen problem ,,and they have asked me for 1 day and its okkk,, but when i return back they asked me for more days and they will contact me when repaired ,, and they delievered me my handset in about 12 days , and set is not working properly infront of the nokia care engineer but they told me that the handset is okk,, but while returning back to home ,, handset automatically switch offed and does not start ..soo i return back the handset to same nokia care and they asked me for 5 more days and after 5 days they asked me for 5 more days and its ridiculus ,,, my phone is with them for about 20 days and then all the service norms of nokia are violated by them,,, when i called their customer complaints no. they also dont gave me satisfying reason,,,, plz help me and plz guide me for lodging a customer case in consumer court if i doesnt get my phone in good condition,,, plz help and thanks in advance
