I purchased Nokia Mobile handset on 30.12.2009. Within 3 months LCD cracked for the First time. The Mobile shop" Limton Pvt. Ltd". 13& 14 B.B.D.Bag (East) Kolkata - 1. directed me to see their Service Centre "Satya Telecare", 229 Chittaranjan Avenue, Kolkata 6.They took my phone on 17.03.2010 & delivered me back on 22.03.2010 after sloving my problem. On 25.06.2010 again a black line appeared on the screen of the mobile. This time service centre was given an estimate of Rs.1391/-(approx.) for repairing the problem within the gurantee period, what I disagree to pay.I assume that there was a manufacturing defect in the handset. I have given one letter to 'The Care manager of Nokia India Pvt. ltd.of SP INfo City Industral Plot No.#243,Udyog Vihar Phase -1, Dundahera, Gurgaon - 122016. Hariyana. & Mobile Shop on 1st July'2010 by registered Speed Post with a/d but no response received as on date fron any side..

Nokia — lcd cracked

I have purchased a Nokia Model no 5310 XpressMusic (IMEIno:[protected]) on november2008 from the Local nokia authorized shop after 3 months o[censored]sage a crack formed on its lcd display without any mechanical stress and it spreading gradually to whole area... i dont know what is happening nokia care people telling that i wont get any warranty for this kind of complaints what to do...

    my cell phone's (Nokia 5130)display wasn't working . i went to two different nokia care centers. One said screen would be replaced for Rs.700 and other said screen would be replaced at rs.900.They said that was the only problem with the cell.
    So i got the screen changed at a local shop .

    Though the display works fine now , bt on starting it says Contact Service.

    Why is that so? Are nokia phones supposed to work only for 2 yrs or less now ???

      Nokia — non-replacement of original body

      Dear sir,

      I want to bring to your notice the problem I am suffering because of your Nokia personnels and their careless attitude towards their customers. My cell model is Nokia 6500 slide and it got problem in switching on once switched off, so I took it to the customer care in sector-3 Noida, My cell got o.k., but the personnels over there changed half of its body with different colour of the same model, which is very irritating, so i asked them to put the original body. And from that day, its been 2 months, my cell is lying over there and not yet replaced. I am visiting that care centre, almost everyday and getting a new extended date with every visit.

      I request you to kindly look into the matter seriously and solve my problem created by your personnels only. Their careless attitude towards the problem created by themselves is ridiculous. We choose Nokia among all other brands with lot of trust, so please don't prove us wrong and ask your customer care executives to serve their customers better.

      Hope you will be going through my problem and I'll be getting my cell soon.

      5233 — demand to replacement

      Respected Sir/Madam,

      I Suresh Narayankar bought a Nokia 5233 handset from a retailer situated at L.B.S Marg Bhandup and the handset started giving me problems from day 2 itself when approached retailer he advice me to go to Nokia care hence I did. On visiting I had a complaint of my handset and concerned person saw the handset and did the usual procedure to which he concluded that this is not a normal problem and had to be solved at head quarters bought the handset on 12th February 2010 and handed over to service center on 19th February to which they gave me a target date as 3rd March 2010 and till yet I haven’t got the handset when asked the concern person they replied to me as it is a major problem and said it will take more time. As to my knowledge Nokia is a MNC company and I expect a good service from you. Attaching cell information below.
      I hope you would understand my problem and solve it to the Quickest as the handset started giving me problem within 7 days I demand a replacement and hope that Nokia would look into this matter. Already I have faced enough problems from Nokia care by having to visit them frequently.
      I hope Nokia co-operate with me as my friend who had brought Sony Ericsson handset got it replaced and I hope that Nokia too is a good company like Sony. Or else I would have to take other actions.

      I purchased Nokia 5233 in feb 2010 it was working fine for 8 months but suddenly half the screen is not displaying any thing. When i went to Nokia care they just looked at the screen and said the screen is gone and have to replace it. But it is not covered under warranty. The price of the display is half the price of the phone.I am wondering why the hell they are giving warranty when actually nothing is covered. Can any one suggest what I can do.

      nokia handset 5800 xpressmusic — taking out of original parts and making the phone not working.

      i have given my 5800 nokia handset to the nokia care center, infocity, gandhinagar to upgarade my mobile and for dusting purpose. It was given for only 35 minutes nd after 35 minutes, when it was given to me, the phone's display panel was not working and the touch pad's also not working. My whole phone was just made like a dead phone, it was purchased only before 6 months. They were so cunning that they also took back the report to them saying that this report is to be submitted at the head office.
      I said them to replace the display panel and the touch pad as it is in the warranty 6 months were left for a year but they said that ur phone is in the physical damage not possible which was done by them only.
      If such care centers will be there then it wil be the lost for the nokia company and also the product that are made from different country and that phone's quality is destroyed from these such intermediate persons. Saying themselves as a authorised centers and making their moneys from big company like nokia.

      Dear Sir,
      I am having a nokia 5800 xpress music imei-[protected] . I had a problem in my display and I took it to the nokia care for repair. i had previously got my display replaced in sept 2010 and the nokia care representatives had put a date behind my display for replacement warranty purposes. When I took my phone to the same nokia care they told me that the display is faulty and i will have to get it replaced for Rs.2250/-. After that I took the same phone to another nokia care and there I told them to open my phone in front of me and I found that the previous nokia care had replaced my original display with a faulty one and the date behind the display was not there. Also the colour of the display strip was black which I found was silver afterwards. Immediately I contacted the nokia care manager in my city and as the care center was closing he asked me to visit tomorrow . I am going to meet him tomorrow. I want to inform you that this is a very serious matter and not at all good for any reputed company like yours. All the people are having faith on nokia and nokia care. They are blindly going and getting their phones repaired hoping that their will be no cheating. But today it has been proved that nokia also has given authorization to repairing centers who cheat people like I have been cheated. Please dont take my case lightly . If I will not get justice i assure you that this will be the end of nokia cheating poor people of india. I am going to take this matter to the media and also i will send details of this cheating to each and every person of India through Facebook, forums, and through whatever I can and I will spoil nokia business in the world. I am sure you will take my case seriously and punish the nokia care the details of whom I am mentioning below and give me justice.

      I have got Nokia C6-00 mobile with IMEI No. [protected] . Warranty period is running. Many problems occur in this device. So many times it has been given in the service center.

      dated on 27-Feb-2013, I have submitted my mobile phone at Nokia Care Centre-NCC (Milaps Electronics-NAGPUR) subject to technical verification for Liquid Logged & Tampering of handset due to internal damage in Battery (according to job sheet developed by NCC Nagpur).
      They told me that handset will take 10 days to receive from the company.
      After 10 days I had been there at Nokia Care Centre-NCC (Milaps Electronics-NAGPUR), to receive my handset which is being repaired by them.
      There after I found that the external body of handset was not mine.
      Someone’s damaged and tampered body was mounted on my phone. I asked authorities to make this problem solve and get my original/new body.
      When I refused to take that handset, they started telling company has replaced your handset and there is no guarantee of external body and new.

      This time also they asked me to submit the handset for more 20 days.


      My questions are:
      1. How they replaced the handset with different body without my permission?
      2. MY handset body didn't have any problem, if there was any problem with the handset circuit board as per my previous experience Nokia just replaces the board keeping the body same, I suspect some problem/issues/grey areas with the Service Center (Milaps Electronics-NAGPUR).

      Is this a way dealing with customers???
      What is wrong with your brand (Nokia)???
      I'm really irritated..!
      so I’m going to file complaint against brand (Nokia) and Nokia Care Centre (NCC-MILAPS ELECTRONICS NAGPUR) at Consumer court.

        i send my nokia mibile set to net dot solutions at wz 200 bajaj tower for repair in warranty on 13 sep 2010 but they are not able to replace my falty battery. . kindly i request you solve my problem. my contact nomber is [protected] . my job sheet nomber is[protected]/100913/84
        I have given my BL-5C battery for replacement on 17.01.08 in Nashik and now i am shifting to Delhi on 10.02.08 but have not got replacement as on 03.02.08 and the Nokia Care Executives are saying it will take one and a half month more.

        It really hurting to find a company of such high repute giving such a bad service.

        I Rachit Suri purchased a battery BP 5M from Mobile Connect S.C.O 2901-02 Sector 22-C chandigarh on 13th Nov. 2009. battery number[protected]/0670509. This battery was not working properly. I asked them to replace it. On 28th Nov 2009 They deposited my battery and told me to come after 15 days. On 11th dec 2009 they gave me the new battery. Battery number[protected]/0670509. That battery is also not working properly. Next day on 12th dec 2009 i again went to them to change it. They told me Sir please try to use it. Because we are not having new in stock. Or come after few days if you want new. As i am having exam so i was not able to go to them. So on 31st dec 2009 i again went to them and asked them to change. They again deposited my battery. They told me to come after one week. When i went after one week they said me to come after 3-4 days. When today i went to them they said come after one week. Now you tell what sholud i do.
        Now a days lot of problems in nokia mobiles,
        Last 5 days before i buy the 5800 model in chennai but now the mobiles have lot of problems (low battery with 5 hrs ) due to this problem is i will contact nokia care support, but they are not support properly (ie he not identify the problem in battery or mobiles )

        Basically the quality of mobiles and nokia care support is very poor

        in future i will not buy and recommended to buy the nokia
        my nokia mobile battery BL5C series battery sr No.[protected] still not changed where as I had requested to many times to nokia service centre KOTA, But no responce from that side.

            Sir I bought a mobile Make Nokia, Model E-72, IMEI No. [protected] from NOKIA priority sector 22.After showing me the false demonstration and promises for use the email services, I made my mind to buy the costly mobile for accessing the email 24X7 basis on mobile screen with pop up messages of my emails. But it is very sad to inform you that the day I bought my mobile I am unable to receive any email on my rediffmail account. I enquired from my Airtel services for the same for which they had configured my mobile as per procedures but all in vain they have suggested me to enqire to Nokia care. I have tried on phone as well as on Nokia Care Khanna which refuses to help me and replied in negative answers, whereas other email server such a yahoo etc are operational on the mobile set. For that Iam loosing my bussiness urgent emails on rediff account for which I bought this mobile purposely. Kindly help me out.

              Iam Mr P.Vikram irecently i purchased Nokia E72 from Mobilestores ,kakinada, no [protected],invoice no 342/649168,on 01.09.2010,but i got the mic problem with the mobile from 10.09.2010,i went to mobilrstores and enquired he said it is network problem not with the handset.Aftrer threedays agian i went ot mobile stores and practically shown to the guy of the shop then he said that there is a minar problem with handset and advised me to go to nokia service center. Then i went to there he said it has the major problem it will take minimum of 10 days.I asked for the replacement of the handset but he ( Mr.Valli - nokia service center ) said it is not possible we will send this mobile to company.Thats all no replacement of handset.

              I requesting you to Please do the needful and replace my handset with new one

                I am Sakthi Hariharan. I have recently purchased Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic. My mobile giving lot of problems when I purchased it.

                Which are,

                1. While am using mobile, suddenly it was hanged then it will recover when I remove the battery and again reinsert it. (Atleast 3 times / day)
                2. Now my mobile is not getting switched ON even though it is having full battery power.So I have given my handset to Nokia care,Jamnagar,Gujarat. They are also not able to solve this problem. So I don’t want this mobile back, I need new mobile Or I want my money back.

                Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic — not able to hear some time

                i bought this phone on 20th jan 2009 with my two friends...even they purchased the same mobile...but after one day i was not able to hear properly...the sound of the opposite person was on and off...the very next day i went to my dealer and he changed with a new device...but again i am having the same problem and evn my other two friend who bought this mobile are facing the same problem...we have always trusted this company so please dont break our trust and help us out with this trouble...waiting for your reply

                Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic — keypad switch malfunction

                Keypad slide switch gets stuck inspite of getting it repaired thrice at nokia care. They claim to replace the switch each time but problem remains same.

                  Hi Sir/Madam,

                  I Hope you will definitly look into the complaint which i have raised. The Staff at Nokia Care Center is really not efficient to solve the problem as a result we the consumers end up in hell lot of suffering. It seems they are misusing the authorizations which are provided to them. I really hope that u will look into the matter. Its been more than 6 yrs that NOKIA is my most trusted brand but now this kind a attitude really makes me think twice before buying a Nokia cell phone.

                    hello Sir/ Madam,

                    This is reagarding Nokia Care Center which is in AUNDH, Pune. My cell was giving some

                    problem so thought of Visiting Nokia Care Center.First they said that "its having some

                    water damage so it will cost 1450". I thought of verifying the charge which they are

                    charging. so didnt submit my cell that day. Next day wheni again revisited their shop,

                    they told me totally DIFFERENT PROBLEM nad now cost which they Charged was 550. My

                    First concern: IS there nobody to check on them that whatever cost they are charging is

                    genuine or not. Now proceeding Forward to actual complaint..Finally I gave my cell For

                    repairment. But now when i went for collecting the same found that they have actually

                    not repaired but i guess destroyed so many functions which were in place before:-like

                    Keypad not working, Memory card is not getting detected, most of the buttons are not

                    working andon top of this Now my cell is unable to detect memory card, for which now

                    they are asking Rs 500 more. Its really rediculous. Being INDIA"S no 1 Brand is this

                    the expectation?....
                    By my nokia lumia520, i am unable to download any song from nokia music..it shows that my mobile is subscribed for unlimited nokia music subscription...when i gone to nokia care cenre they refused to help and asked me to go for help to thare from where i have bought my phone.,

                      Ive a nokia 5800XM and evrything was fine working before bt now everytime when i try to download anything more than 4MB there comes an error(502-BAD GATEWAY download cancelled because the content size is too large) even though i have lots of empty spaces in my phone.                         I had purchased a E72 handset from Select city walk mall, saket in Feb10. the promised given to me email from rediffmail will free of cost, finally after lot of complaints not working.

                        secondly, with six month set is having problems like

                        charging point not working
                        battery changed due to issue as weak battery
                        camera is not working
                        sales outlet refering to nokia service centre
                        purchase new battery, given duplicate by same nokia outlet
                        within three days, again refer to service outlet

                          I have purchased the Nokia Model 3130 XpressMusic, year back in April 2009. it worked good for last one year but once warranty period expired it started giving problems. I takken this phone to Nokia Care twice but they were not able to rectify the problem. they have charged the service amount but with out any solution. Please help me in getting the problem solved.

                                i bought the phone 2 days ago and the camera is a crap. The light of flash get on the pics and the image becomes whitish. Beside the phone keeps on hanging and gets restart automatically. I went to the nokia care which updated the software after which the freq of hanging is reduced but still it happens, n the camera is still the same. They say its what the company has to offer u at this price. I spended my 6.5k to get this crap. They say they cant do anything as this is not a manufacturing fault, so how all other X2 are working ok. I m not going to take it anymore n will change the phone anyway. I have not paid this much for this thing

                                i have also bought nokia X2 & i'm facing same problems. there is no use of flash in night, the photos comes whitish at the side of flash. also battery requires more time to charge.
                                did u remove the cover sticker on camera and flash...may u didnt

                                I have also purchased the X2 phone and it is hanging since the very first day. I would suggest to users not to buy this phone... You can get a better option in Samsung or LG...
                                hey my X2 is working pretty fine. sound clarity n display quality z good. D nly prblm z with d camera flash that makes the image brighter.. else z fine.. Afterall a cell cant b compared to ny 5mp camera.. U cant xpect mr than 2 days battery backup in a cell wid 5mp camera n so much f other mulimedia stuffs aftrall.. I wud definitely suggest to go for this phone.. ;)
                                I have purchased this phone before Diwali and have not faced any probs like hanging and all. I have only two discomforts with this phone. The first one is I can add only 20 members to one group and the next is camera. Even a 2 MP camera is better than this 5 MP camera. Audio quality is good. I don't know abt internet.
                                hey i just bought dis fone 4 days b4...till date i have'nt faced any problems xcept for da flash dominating the pics...but 2day i removed da cover frm da camera nd picture quality has improved a lot nd da flash is also workin good...dis is a really gud fone...i wud 100% suggest any1 2 buy dis fone...:D
                                That is obviously a manufacturing defect. Some x2s come with black covering to the camera lens. But some of them came withe transparent cover that is the problem. at least the partition between the flash and camera should have been opaque. I bought one but returned it within 48 hours.
                                I have purchased a nokia-x2.Initially there was no problem with the camera, but suddenly there appeared i red horizontal line whenever I want to capture any photo.And can anyone help about what is imgcache?
                                Agree with you. I faced :
                                - It is 5 MP camera, but camera quality is worst.
                                - Flash is of no use as photo becomes brighter (we can see 2 shades, upper side whiter and no effect @ lower side)
                                - It takes more time to charge full battery
                                - Also battery discharge is very fast.
                                i have also bought nokia X2 and I am Facing battary low is very fast.
                                i have purchased this phone one month before am also have all these problems(poor camera quality, quick battery discharge, requires more time to charge, whitish picture etc) but sound quality is not too bad

                                  I, BHARAT SURANA, want to lodge a complain against the NOKIA, INDIA.

                                  I HAve gone to Nokia Service Centre Girish Park ,Kolkata. I have been using Nokia 2700 Classic for last seven months. I have been continuously facing a problem related to the screen of my handset since last three months. This problem has been reported several times but no relevant action is being taken. They just say it is a unique problem but are not solving my grievance. I have already reported this problem 6 to 7 times but I did not receive a proper feedback. This was also reported to the headoffice in Delhi. Still I did not get any response to my problem,

                                  So I would rather prefer to surrender the handset and ask nokia to better recycle it because that is the last thing that can be done with it.

                                    I bought a new Nokia N97 Mini on[protected] from Nokia Priority Centre at Fort and since day one it has been giving just problems

                                    Initially on all calls there was whistling background sound always coming and the touch screen interface was not working properly. I first called up the Nokia help centre and surprisingly Nokia has no telephonic support in Mumbai so it was a STD call for me at Bangalore. The technician suggested a few steps and then asked me to visit any Nokia Care Centre. Being a working professional its difficult to immediately take out time for these things. So in a few days I visited the Nokia Care Centre near Andheri station as it was on my way back to home.

                                    They examined the phone and asked me to come and collect it next day. I went the next day and the only thing they did was not update the software on the phone. This resulted in me loosing some of my preinstalled applications which came with the phone and 2 free movies also. Anyways, I just wanted my phone to be working as this was specifically bought for official communication.

                                    I was being told that the phone cannot be replaced and only repaired as replacement only happens in first 48 hours. This is absurd for me as by the time one explores the features of the phone and check if everything is working fine the 48 hours are over.

                                    Now its not even 2 months and I am again having a problem with the phone only working on Loudspeaker mode and not on normal Handset mode. I have resetted the phone to factory settings also but still no luck with it.

                                    Requesting you to kindly help me in taking care of this issue as I have spent Rs. 18600 on this phone and its not up to the mark in anyways. And its difficult to everynow and then visit the Nokia Care Centre as this takes up so much time courtesy to the long queue and waiting there.

                                    One can imagine the quality of phones Nokia is manufacturing seeing the long queue there.

                                    Nokia — Faulty Nokia handset N97 Mini

                                    I was sold a defective Nokia handset on 19th February , 2010, vide receipt No 4453/dated 19/2/2010, Product N97 MINI - costing Rs 23000/-. Seller Nokia Priority

                                    Sector 38 A, Noida
                                    The handset was not working properly right from the day one. I made several trips to the vendor and reported its malfunctions. The vendor did not take notice of my complaints and twice he kept the phone with himself to experience the problems however he returned it and finally when the problem persisted, he sent me to the Nokia service station where the phone was declared as beyond repair under warranty terms & conditions and the repair was costing Rs 7500/-.

                                    I have been subjected to severe mental stress on account of huge loss of money for no fault of mine. My humble request to you is that I may be compensated for this loss. (1) replace the handset with a new one. (2) payment of Rs 30,000 for causing me mental stress and harassment and wasting my executive time. (3)Befooling the customer with an improper product.

                                    n97mini — Faulty handset

                                    I had purchased the n97mini handset (IMEI no. [protected]) on 23rd May, 2010. Within a week, the handset showed major and minor symptoms such as, when it was on the charger, it never charged. The applications such as the locking-up of the phone was not responding. The handset also shows unauthorized/default accessory when the headset is attached.
                                    The handset has been given for repair and the concerned authorities say that it has been sent to Delhi for further repair services. Furthermore, we were given a second-hand handset of n97mini few weeks later (i.e. on 4th September, 2010) which was not mine (I had purchased a copper-coloured handset but I was given a black coloured handset). I refused to accept it. I was again given a copper-coloured handset which also didn't belong to me. They again took a complaint on 25th September, 2010 and the target delivery date is 3rd October, 2010.

                                    Nokia N97 Mini — N97 Mini Handset Problem

                                    I have been using Nokio handset from 2004 and was a loyal customer since then. I purchased the Nokio N97 Mini in MAY 2010. and i was having an issue with it from the first month. I GAVE THE FIRST SERVICING IN JULY 2010. The problem was never rectified. Till date i have given servicing thrice and the same problem occurs and never been rectified. I have asked for a replacement from my first service which was never acknowledged. Now the service center in Annanagar says it had requested for a replacement from HO Delhi but they have just returned it from repair. Its really frustrating I work in shifts and have a two year old son and everytime i have to travel aboy 20 - 25 kms just to reach this service center.
