Hi,
I purchased my Nokia 5130 ExpressMusic handset almost a year back. After 7-8 months o[censored]sage it started giving problem of call drop. It use to get switched OFF as soon as I tried to receive any calls. I went to Nokia care in Aundh and they tried to get the software udpated to see if it resolved the issue, but with no effect. They gave 2 attempts without any knowledge of whether their approach would resolve the issue.

Then they sent it their main Nokia repair center, from where I received the handset after almost 20-25 days. And again the issue still existed after I used it for 2-3 days. After this again it was sent to their head office for repair.

In this entire process I almost lost 2-3 days and my warranty got expired. I asked Nokia care and call center to provide me with a replacement since they were unable to resolve the issue. I had to go almost 5-6 times to followup with them and get my mobile repaired.

Nokia neither provided me with a replacement nor any warranty upgrade because of the problems that I was facing.

Now finally, when i have received the handset, call drop problem is not occurring but it has started giving problem of battery draining out in 2-3 hours.

I tried replacing the battery with a new original Nokia battery, but of no use.

I don't really understand why Nokia did not provide me with a replacement though their handset hardware had problem.

I can go on and on over issues that I am facing with this Nokia 5130c model that I am facing, since the pain is endless.

I would recommend, stay away from Nokia since their service is pathetic.

NOKIA MOBILES — hardware problem

My nokia 6300 phone got dropped in water n now its not reading the memory card... The dealer says that to replace the ic which has got short circuited costing rupees 550/-... Is he right ??????
Or wat should i do now ???

NOKIA MOBILES — Replacement/Repairing of NOKIA 5130

Dear Sir,

I have given my NOKIA 5130 for repair to NOKIA CARE INDORE which under warranty period.My Job sheet no is[protected]/090728/18.I have given my cell to the company on 28th of JULY.

But company has been not replaced/repair my cell till date.

I am not having another cell and facing lots of problems.

I have mailed and called the NOKIA cust. care several times.

But still I have not got my cell.

Pls help to get my cell earliest or reversal of the money as soon as possible.

I PURCHASED NOKIA 5130 SOME MONTHS BACK,WICH SHOWED SOME PROBLEMS LIKE GOING OFF AUTOMATIACALLY,AND ERROR MESEGE THAT DISAPLAYED WAS CONTACT SERVICE,I CONTACTED NOKIA CARE IN VAISHALI ,THEY KEPT MY CELLFOME FOR MORE THEN ONE MONTH,FOR WICH THEY SAID THEY WOULD ISSUE ME A DUMMY SET WICH WAS NOT GIVEN,AND AFETR SUCH LONG TIOME WEN I GOT NO RESPONSE FROM NOKIA ,I VISITED CENTER AGAIN WHO GAVE SUCH AN UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISGUSTING REPLY WHICH WAS THAT IT CANNOT BE RECTIFIED AND WE CAN TRY STILL FOR CHARGES LEVIED WUD BE 2000 BUT CANT GUARANTEE THAT IT WUD BE REPAIRED,MY CELLPHONE IS IN WARRANTY PERIOD.WATEVER THE PROBLEM IS A CO LIKE THIS BEN IN SERVICE INDUSTRRY N CUSMOR CARE HOW CAN ONE EXPECT SUCH FOOLISH ANSWER THAT WE WUD LEVY CHARGES STILL CANT ASSURE SERVICE,THIS IS SOMETHING PATHETIC ATTITUDE,EATHER THEY SHUD LUK INTO MATTER OR IT SHUD BE ESCALATED TO CONSUMER COURT

Nokia Mobiles — lost mobile phone in bus

dear sir,

i have lost my mobile phone nokia n72 when i m taking the bus....sir can u help me in tracing my handset...i have my mobile phone imei no and mobile bill or it's box.

sir plz reply me as soon as possible bcecause today is 4th day....i konw that u are able to trace it....so plz...plz help me.
this same problem is coming in most of the nokia 5130 handsets so company should either repair those sets properly or should replace them.

    Nokia N-82 — Replacement of Nokia N82

    i gave my nokia N-82 for repair, because it was not starting, at nokia care(Mend Square, Residency road, Bangalore)on 5/09/2008 .I have purchased this phone on may 2008.As they informed me, the phone has to send to head office.After 15 days, i had recieved the phone, i couldn't use it for atleast 10 mintues.
    Again i went to nokia care for the same reason, I given my to cell for repair again.After 4 days they informed me, my cell was ready.But i find there itself the ersame problem was happening.Then i spoked to the manager, he informed me that he will try to do as s oon as possible, i asked for relacement but he didnt answer .
    I have been contacting them every day, they are not in a postion to answer at all.Now they are telling that they need 15 days more.But i have cheched online stastus of phone with the proper job sheet no[protected]/080922/15, it showing that closed and repaired, but still they not able to answer.

    i am harrassed by their poor service as when i gave cell for repair they upgraded software i had to go there 6 times, my time & money is wasted & also i didnt recieve my phone .please help me for that.

    nokia n 82 — replacement for fixing of the problem in my N82

    I am sorry to state that i've got a serious problem with my Nokia N 82 which I purchased just a month back.the phone got hang on opening any application and used to restart on it's own, battery back was also reduced and the phone used to get discharge within 2 hours of full charging.I went to the customer care here in aligarh and they also couldn't solve the problem.They have send my phone to delhi nokia service station i've been told there is something hardware problem and it will take more than a month or more to resolve the matter.
    i want u to please kindly look into the matter and get my handset fixed or replaced as quickly as possible.since it's a diwali time ahead and i've paid a dear price for my handset, I want my phone in normal condition back as soon as possibl. my imei no. is [protected] and battery no. is[protected]

    well my two month old phone did not turn on, took it to customer care center and its been 35 days they still have my phone, and they tell me it would take them another 15 days to fix my phone under warranty.why does it take so long??

    Nokia N-82 — Service centre people returned handset in broken condition

    Dear Sir,

    I, Ashwin Shetti of ADVANTAGE SYSTEMS, Ankola had sent a Nokia N82-1 (IMEI - 358984/01/583269/7) for servicing on 17th of July 2009.

    Problem quoted by me was that whenever handset would be switched on, automatically the Camera flash would remain on. i.e.
    RED FLASH LIGHT COLOUR would remain on.

    When I had sent the handset for servicing to Kumta Service Centre (SAPTAGIRI ENTERPRISES, KUMTA), the set was in absolutely clean condition without even a scratch on its panel.Even the original laminated cover on display was intact.

    I recieved the same set in a very pathetic condition. I was really shocked to see this kind of servicing done by such a big company like NOKIA.

    1. The DISPLAY was BROKEN from inside.
    2. The Front Panel was completely scratched.
    3. Panel is not fitted properly.
    4. Keypad printed numbers are scratched.

    AMAZINGLY BACK PANEL IS IN PERFECT SPOTLESS CONDITION. AND ALSO HAS THE ORIGINAL COMPANY LAMINATION STILL INTACT.

    On contacting service centre person, I got reply that it was in same DAMAGED condition when they recieved it.

    NOW PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT AM I TO DO IN SUCH SITUATION AND WHAT I SHOULD REPLY TO CUSTOMER.

    WHAT ACTION WOULD YOU TAKE IN THIS CASE IF YOU WERE IN MY PLACE?

    Please help me as i have already sent a mail regarding this to NOKIA ASM. He also forwarded it to his higher authority. and they simply put the blame on me (Retailer).

    PLEASE HELP ME.

    Nokia N-82 — Repeated complaints under warranty period

    I purchased a Nokia N-82 set on 30 May 2009. My set started giving problem while seeing the photos in slide show. The music run along the slides was cutting and the photos were jerking. I submitted the set for repair at the local Nokia care center on 03 Sep 09 vide Job Sheet No.[protected]/090903/60 and they replaced the software of the phone. After few days, a new problem started. The dates in the set automatically jumped two days in advance. After monitoring the set for another week, I again took the set to Nokia care and submitted for repair vide Jobe Sheet No.[protected]/090915/99. The engineer at the service center did nothing but only handed me the set back after reseting the date next day. I again submitted the set for repair on 18 Sep Job Sheet No.[protected]/090918/15 and this time the set was sent for higher level repair and was handed over to me on 07 October 2009. Next morning I faced the same problem of dates being automatically jumping two digits higher ( It showed date as 10-10-09 in place of[protected]. Same day I submitted the set for repair/ replacement Job Sheet No.[protected]/091008/81. Now, Would Nokia keeping up the promises to its customers, replace this set with the new one or at least return my set in a totally problem free state.

        Nokia care 87,civil lines ,ayub khan send my phone3110CL(IMEI [protected]) job sheet no.2180 on 21-07-10 to company for repairing,then nokia send me a new nokia 2600 classic(IMEI [protected])on 20-810. .BUT Nokia care give me old nokia3110cl & says company send this phone & dont provide the letter of change IMEI PHONE NO.I THINK he give me theft mobail phone so i am not takeing that phone..pls help me to received my phone.

          Often am getting d software problem in my phone, If i go complaint they r doing it. But am getting d problem again. They reload my software for more then 5 times.           I have bought a Nokia 7210c Super Nova mobile, I always get the software problem as mentioned by the person PraveenP (evident from the e-mail id).
          The problem is like the screen fades every now and then.
          I've told about this problem, but when i show it they say it might be due to virus and they flush old mobile operating system and embed a new one. As they said it might be due to a virus i stopped using my blue-tooth and memory card. Still the problem prevailed. I went back and again they did the same "flush and embed" at the Nokia Care center, they told that may be some software problem, you better sell it in some exchange offers for a new mobile.
          Many of my friends have the same problem and they did what i did and also the Nokia Care employees said the same.
          "It actually might be due to some internal hadrware/software problem". The Nokia Company should see to it and replace it for a new handset, but they are least bothered and fool the customers saying a virus has affected your cell.
          Its probably 1-1/2 year old, so its out of warranty. I advice people to take care while buying new hand sets and people who have bought it claim a refund or new hand set from Nokia, as the problem cannot be recovered. There's the same problem with every mobile.

            Dear Sir,
            I am Manjunath and i bought a Nokia N79 on October 2009.Ever since i brought the phone i faced the complaint of hard keypad. I complained the same on March 2010 and gave it to Nokia care stating the same problem, but they said its a software problem and took my phone for a day , when i recieved the phone Sd card protection cover broke.when i asked on that they told me to hand over the phone so that they can send it to delhi and replace it, Since i dint have time i went to Ranchi and approached nokia care but they said external damage wont be covered in warranty and gave me a rejection letter which the Chennai Nokia care dint give me. after a while the screen was displaying weird colours nad keypad light was not working. I came to Bangalore and reported the same complaint bu Bangalore Nokia care told me that there is external damage warranty is void and on my request they topened the Phone and found water damage(which was not done by the other two Nokai cares of Chennai & Ranchi even after i reported the same complaint). Because of the Fault of Nokai care Chennai i had to repair my phone putting Rs.2000 from my pocket and even my warranty is lost. Evn after spending Rs.2000 the problem is not solved, The display problem is persisting. I am deeply hurt by these incidents related to Nokia Care, so i would like to take Nokai care to court and see to that such incidents dont happen again. And i also want replacement of phone stating manufacturing defect or supply of faulty phone by nokia. Pls take a serious action on this case. My contact no is [protected].

            Dear Sir

            i have faced almost the same hardships as the above .. Now my phone has the weird display problem.. and my warranty is void as they found water inside my phone (i don still know how as i use my phone very carefully). Now i am wondering whether i should waste more money into to this phone as already it has taken 13000+3000 out of my pocket.
            Nokia has cheated its customers with such phones which are poor in quality and reliability.

            nokia/n79 — no proper response

            My name is Prem.I bought my N79 from Univercell, with Cell Insurance.. My phone used to get off automatically, once in a week or so. After five months this rate of switching off increased. i complained at Nokia Care Centre(NCC) Ambatore. They told they wil rectify it. I got it back. it again had the same problem. It also added a problem , and that was with the bluetooth connectivity. tat problem also persisted. I kept giving it to tat NCC. then to different NCC(Ambatore, Gemini, Tambaram). But i never gave it to an unauthorised service centre. finally i gave it to Tambaram NCC. they returned it tellin IT CANT BE REPAIRED., and asked me to claim it from Univercell. I asked them, if the manufacturer cannot repair, who else will do it. They were answer less. My warranty/Guarentee is Expiring on dec 15th 2010. Please Help!!

            nokia/n79 — phone display not working

            sir,

            i like to mention that i have purchased a phone from you company,and its still in warranty.Today when i was browsing on my phone its display went blank after sometime,so i went to my nearest nokia care center "karangaar,srinagar" to repair it in warranty,but the official there told me we cant repair it in warranty,because it seems it has a physical damage,as there is not even a scratch on its display.If nokia is not able to repair my phone in warranty i`ll take help of consumer court...

                    I am Kailash Chandra from Kashipur,Distt. UdhamSingh Nagar (Uttranchal), India. Being a regular user of Nokia products, I have purchased a Nokia 6303c handset on Sep'2009..
                    From the 8th July'10 I was experiencing '# key not showing on screen and handset being hang''.

                    I took it to Nokia Care, where they could not repair it and so send it to the service centre at Kashipur Distt. UdhamSingh Nagar. The same is lying there till now.

                    I am told by Nokia Care that I'm facing above mention problem and he deposit my cell on dated 08.07.10 and said contact the after nearby one month we will send this cell to Delhi Office.
                    I cannot use the phone for one months now, so the purpose of purchase stands defeated.
                    After one month , I came to Nokia Care Centre, I received the cell 2nd Aug'10 but; problem was still same.

                    The Nokia Care Centre Executive said, please leave the cell once more we will send the cell Delhi Office, we will give you reply after one month.
                    So, Sir, I once again deposit the cell same date (2nd Aug'10).

                    After one month on dated 23.08.10 I went to Nokia Care Centre, executive says me your cell is not working properly, problem is still, so, sir, once again I leave the cell Nokia Centre. And lease not last i deposit the cell on dated 23.08.10.

                    Lastly, after duly purchasing a new phone nobody would like to use the same if it makes a tour to the service center so early.

                    I am also awaiting reply from the Nokia Senior Authority
                    As such, I would like to request you to kindly provide me a replacement phone or a new phone of some better model for which I am ready to pay the difference amount.

                    I will be happy if you respond early. Hope to see that NOKIA maintains its worldwide reputation. Thanking you.

                      Dear Sir,
                      i gave my nokia 5233 for repair as it was not starting, at nokia care faridabad . they upgraded software when i came home found that it had hanging and touch created from nokia care side.i again gave it to repair.when again i went after 2 days to take it, i found that again same pro.they asked me to come after few days. wheni got my cell i found that they have placed songs auto shuffle while messeging on the spot.i finally decided not to give it to repair again, and took it with me.
                      its been more that 1 & half month i gave my cell to repair for not starting when i got it finally after goin for 6 times, it had several problems creted from nokia care's side.they just upgraded software & in return following were problem created by them.these are...
                      1. some time touch pro
                      2. hanging pro..
                      3. songs auto shuffles while messeging.
                      Earlier these problems were not there when i gave it for repair(it was not starting).
                      i have complain the manager of nokia care also i mailed nokia website but no response from them.
                      i am harrassed by their poor service as when i gave cell for repair(itwas not starting) they upgraded software but in return the above 4 problems they created & i had to go there 6 times, my time & money is wasted &also my cell is not in goo working condition.please help me for that.

                            I got myself a nokia5230 XpressMusic on the 20 August 2010 and the voucher that is in the box expired on the 15/06/2010 and I think it is a shock The pin code is FRZZNJS4DQCHZTPS
                            I am really frustrated with nokia music store
                            I redeemed a voucher of R200 used about R40 but now the remaining money is missing.
                            I bought a phone got unlimited downloads download 4 songs now i have reached my limit within one month
                            this is quite a different story than all the advertisments

                              on18.07.10 i procured Nokia 6700 slide mobile from your Hot spot , Tambaram, chennai -45
                              next day onwards i found hangging, automatic switch off and over heat during usage
                              then on 20.07.10 i contacted your stores executive he just checked and told to use it and if i find any problem asked me to contact once again.
                              so many times i visted your shop but there is no proper response and at last on 14.08.10 he forwarded my mobile to nokia service center and informed me that there is a problem in a soft ware and after rectification he handed over on friday but the problem till exisisting.
                              pl advice how to proceed and i request you to replace the problamatic mobile

                                  Nokia Care Bright Caree,Malleshwaram, Bangalore.And they charged Rs-4500 for replacement of penel and Software update and Headset connector.But the problem of Headset is not yet solved, but now they are saying that You must have pay further amount to solve the Headset problem.                                     I bought a Nokia E71 Phone on 16th August 2010 from The Mobile Store, Madhapur, Hyderabad. After using 2 days i have a weired problem with menu key. When i went to 'The mobile store' the response was you can go to Nokia care and service it. I bought a new phone and do you expect me to service it after just 2 days o[censored]sage.

                                    Is this not something serious Nokia has to look into. 'The mobile store' expect me to give them a POA ceritficate from Nokia care so that they can exchange the phone but Nokia Care, Madhapur, Hyderabad branch tells that they dont provide any such certificate.

                                    I am now in a catch22 situation and i dont know whom to contact for this. Since this is just a 2 days old mobile why should i service it. Its either Nokia's or The Mobile Store's Responsibility to serve customer. If such kind of service is given to customer i would never sugget anyone for a Nokia Phone or The Mobile Store.

                                    I went to Nokia Care 3 times and The Mobile store 3 times today and yet there is no solution. The kind of service i got after buying a Nokia Phone is not at all satisfactory.

                                    I would say The Mobile Store has the worst service and same with Nokia Care.

                                      I have a complaint against Nokia Service Center. I've sent the following mail to them. Please go through the mail to know the nature of my grievance.


                                      Hi,

                                      I've purchased a Nokia E75 [ESN/IMEI Number : [protected]] on first week of October 2009.

                                      By the end of May 2010, I was having severe problems with my set - it became very slow and sometimes unresponsive, and stopped working one day. I submitted my phone to Infotel Services, 1 Ekdalia Road, Kolkata 700019. Assigned Job sheet number was[protected]/100601/35. The phone was returned to me the next day after upgrading the software and everything seemed fine.

                                      On 15th August, 2010 the camera in the phone stopped working, camera button was not working. Additionally I noticed that battery standby time was decreasing day-by-day, and the phone was getting hang every now and then. I again submitted my phone on 18th August,2010 to Infotel Services, 1 Ekdalia Road, Kolkata 700019. Assigned Job sheet number was[protected]/100818/48. I was very unsatisfied with the status of my phone and tried to express my concern to the Center Manager, Mr. Abhijit Chatterjee. But I am really sorry to say that he has a very irritating and unhelpful attitude. All I wanted was an email-id through which I can officially communicate my grievance and concern to Nokia. He point-blankly refused to give me any email-id and all I got from him was a phone number [protected] which he said was of his RM. I called up RM and he asked me to sms him the current job sheet number, which I did promptly.

                                      I was given a call on 19th August, 2010 and was informed that my set was ready to be delivered. Upon delivery, when i connected the battery the set did not work.They took the phone away and informed me that only the OS was re-installed, and I need to wait for half-an-hour more so that they can again re-install the software. I think NOKIA SHOULD PROPERLY TRAIN THEIR SUPPORT STAFF TO NOT TO FORGET THE BASICS LIKE CHECKING THE PHONE AFTER AN UPDATE OR WHATEVER SERVICING THEY DO, ONLY TO ENSURE THAT THAT PHONE ACTUALLY WORKS WHEN THE TECHNICIANS CLAIM THAT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED. This whole process took 1:30 hours, with no positive result in the end. I informed them that I'll come back tomorrow to collect the set. After that I tried to call up RM who didn't receive my call, and very conveniently forgot to call me back after that.

                                      I went to Nokia service center today at around 6:15pm and handed them the job sheet to collect my phone. Even after waiting almost an hour, there was no update or absolutely no one in the center showed me the courtesy to inform me the status. Eventually I was very angry and demanded that my set to be given back to me as I've lost all faith on Nokia and it's authorized Service centers. It was then, almost after an hour, I was informed that the set would be send to Delhi and I can only expect a delivery on/after 3rd September,2010.

                                      Under the circumstances, I have the following questions and I demand an immediate reply from you on this.

                                      1. After buying a high end set [I bought the set for Rs 23000] why should I suffer so much, and that too within warranty period? Nokia as a brand name has always been a big player, and I confess that I did have a fascination on Nokia phones. But I'm really sorry to say that compared to such a big name as Nokia, I feel even street side vendors are more cooperative.

                                      2. I want to officially register a complaint against Center Manager of Infotel Services, 1 Ekdalia Road, Kolkata 700019. I'm really sorry to say that he is not at all competent as Center Manager, and THE WAY HE HANDLES AGGRIEVED CUSTOMERS IS NOT AT ALL SUITABLE FOR NOKIA.

                                      3. I want an immediate status update on when I can really expect to get my phone back and what are the steps that are being taken to rectify the problems with my handset.

                                      4. I will also need an escalation matrix with phone numbers and email-id's for these sort of events. I've already called up [protected] and a complaint was registered [Complaint No: 1-[protected]]

                                      5. Finally, I would really like to know who gave Nokia the authority to waste their customers valuable time and energy. For the past three days I've been visiting this center for almost 1:30 hours everyday, only to come back with more frustration and hatred for Nokia. It might be that Nokia does not care about after sale service or is simply not interested in helping their customers out, but please let me know such policies so that at least in future I'll know what to expect from Nokia.

                                      Please mail me back on this as soon as possible, as I would really like to know whether Nokia seriously believes in helping out their customers or not.

                                      I had visited NOKIA CARE, infotel services ekdalia on 12.08.2010, with my 5310Nokia express music set
                                      its keys were not functioning. The executive out there saw the set and told that your set is within the
                                      warranty period but if we found liquid your warranty will be terminated and you have to pay for the repair. She took it to the engineer while i stood outside after 15 min she came and said that liquid was inside and the warranty stands cancelled and for the repair i have to fork out 1250/- bucks. I agreed because without mobile all my work would be hampered.They handed me job sheet no[protected]/100812/97 and asked me to come on 14.08.2010 to take the set. As stated i went to NOKIA CARE on 14.08.2010, but a lady on the delivery section told that the set is not ready and they will inform me whenit is ready. They never called but i constantly called on a single number40076900 which was provided in the jobsheet, but the person on the other end always told that they will call when the set is ready. Today is 24.08.2010, till now i havent received my set back and not even a call from infotel stating why this delay.

                                      I can state from my viewpoint this is bringing an bad name for NOKIA because they are associated with this. This is a bitter experience for me and never in my life I will buy any NOKIA products, and i will tell all my known people to be away from NOKIA. If you can please look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest.

                                      I have a complaint against Nokia Service Center. I've sent the following mail to them. Please go through the mail to know the nature of my grievance.


                                      I've purchased a Nokia E63 on first week of December 2009. By the end of September 2010 I was having severe problems with my set - it became very slow and sometimes unresponsive, and stopped working one day. I submitted my phone to Infotel Services, 1 Ekdalia Road, Kolkata 700019. As stated i went to NOKIA CARE on 23.10.2010, but a lady on the delivery section told that the set is not ready and they will inform me when it is ready. They never called me up but I constantly visited them but the person on the other end always told that they will call when the set is ready. Today i.e. 28.12.2010 I received my set which was not repaired and more over the most horrible thing that has happened to my set is that my keypad and battery is not working at all when the set was in their custody. Before delivering the the to the care the key pad was smoothly working and the battery was in good condition.
                                      Finally, I would really like to know who gave Nokia the authority to waste their customers valuable time and energy. I have frustration and hatred towards Nokia. It might be that Nokia does not care about after sale service or is simply not interested in helping their customers out, but please let me know such policies so that at least in future I'll know what to expect from Nokia.
