I am a user of old from last many year, but don't know why few days back my account got banned, if you really don't want to do anything, why are you advertising sell it or buy and all.

I had put an ad for rs. 149 regarding the sale of face mask. But it is been rejected even if there is not any fraud message or fraud ads. This was happening many times and facing the problems like this much more times. More over my debited amout was not been credited till now. I just want to raise a complaint regarding this why my ad was rejected.

There was an ad for a cellphone on olx. I reached to the seller and this is where everything messes up. Seller name was mars mobile and some praveen kumar was talking to me on phone as well as whatsapp. Mobile number: +91 85955 53099

He showed me all the proofs as well as his gst number :07bzjpk8027q2zl which i searched on the gst government website and found this name to be relevant. After all the proofs i paid him 79000 via upi and he was very friendly almost until the last day. He said he is shipping the phone to me via fedex. When asked for tracking number he said he will provide me once the package was dispatched.

After 3 days when asked he said fedex has messed up with pan number hence the package was still in delhi and he sent me a screenshot of the same so i thought it could be a genuine mistake due to covid 19 and less staffing.

On 7 day he said fedex is messing up so he only suggested me to send an email to him stating i want to cancel the order and he will initiate refund.

I sent him an email and he called me stating the refund will be initiated the next day.

I called him the next day and he said the refund will be done max by 4pm

When i called him at 4pm his phone was switched off hence i checked his ad on olx. That was blocked stating suspicious seller.

I have raised a complain with olx and now they want me to go to the police which i did by logging an online complain with cybercrime department.

Why is olx so casual about their sellers as well as buyers fraud? Why are they not doing something about it? I read so many fraud cases after what happened to me but olx keeps telling the victims to log complain instead they should be verifying the sellers or buyers too to avoid fraud

What do i do now? I have lost rs 79000

Hello i saw a add on olx for swift zxi for rs.50, 000 person name sanjay singh from lohgaon pune army campus. He give his contact number.
After having chat he says he is from indian army and provide the car details pics, rc of car, his adhar card and canteen card details etc.
After that he insisted me to pay 5000 and for army parcel and postman will deliver it to my current location.

After making me lot of convince in name of indian army and soldiers.
I payed him 5000 and 15000 for resaving code as he say as the requested account is also saying army transport. Total amount of loss is rs.20000.

After that he said it will deliver by evening. After that a guy called in name of army delivery post man and asked me to pay the remaining money before to get delivered.
After that both start convensing me to do payment.

I bought refrigerator throuh olx. At the time when they deliver the fridge they said please don't start fridge before 24 hours. I tried to start my fridge next day but the fridge was not working, then i contact to the person who deliver me this fridge. But still 30 days gone away he's not picking the call.
We want to exchange the damaged product and give the new one.

This guy named manjeet singh has stolen my 40000 rupees from google pay upi. This guy addressed himself as a indian army but in actual this is one of the most wanted criminal in india in my opinion. I'm a poor man and seeking help from this site that please kindly arrest this criminal and return the money that he had stolen or fraudulent from many peoples. We will be thankful to you

A person name jeetndra kumar took 16000 from me via phone pay and card to card transfer saying that he was buying my washing machine please take this complaint very seriously and tell me how will i get my money back its a humble request to everyone not to get in this fraud don’t waste your money on this fraudsters i want you all to tell me quick how will i get my money back otherwise a strict action will be taken
You need to verify the users before posting anything and 16000 rs is a very big amount for me personally

Gud morning i saw the bike in olx named by Vikas Patel .. I sended the 115000 to him ... After I know he is fraoud so please help me I lost my money. So please call me I beg u.

I saw an advertise of a used swift vxi car on olx of year 2017 make and red color. I contacted the person for deal, the person gave me a phone number to share details of the car and trapped me to transfer deposit amount of 2500 which he told will be refundable. He stated the car will be couriered by army courier service and in wake of gst and insurance he trapped me to transfer the amount of 109000 rs. He did not deliver the car and is also not refunding back the amount, the amount is transferred on 26/04/2020 to the person identified as janak kumar gautam and army delivery boy sanjay singh. 2. Sanjay singh - [protected]. These two people have posed as army person, showing their fake identity cards. We have been cheated of the amount and they are still active on olx. I am expecting full refund of the amount.

In OLX fake add he taken the 2000 for me

I saw an advertisement on olx app of earning through home jobs... The advertiser name as 'rs home jobs olx pvt ltd'... When i contacted for same advertiser came on my whatsapp number and sent me the details of working, asking me to pay a fee of rs.3620 to become a member of his unit... I paid for the same through my paytm payments bank... But as soon as the payment was successfully transacted the guy blocked me from everywhere... He is not taking any of my response... I have been mentally very disturbed with that, it harassed me alot
I request you to please take actions against the same company located on olx and plz help me to get my money back... These frauds are fooling people through a trusted olx platform and in turn are looting innocent people... Plz take actions...

On 19 april, i gave an advertisement for selling my desktop. Just a minute after i received a call from jora singh - [protected]. He was saying that he was interested in buying it & asked me if i have any online payment method & also told me to mark as sold. He said that he had posting in pulwama as an army personnel so that's why he would buy it later but he would pay in advance & i agreed. He sent some id proofs on my whatsapp & told to send my id proofs & afterthat i send my aadhar card & phonpe upi id (I don't know whether i did wrong or not to share my details to unknown) later he called me to check some payment links sms that he had sent on my phone. He told to open the link to receive the advance. But everytimes the payment transactions got failed. Thanks to god for the transactions being failed. The stubborn person was saying me to try again because the links were from lic (He was saying that phonpe won't work from the place where he was located). Later i bored to accept his links as it was failing each times & told him to buy it from cash from my home and ended his call. Because i know that upi pin is not required to receive payment which i tried. After some time i realized that the person was fraud & i deleted the ad. He tried to cheat me but couldn't. I saw about those defence personnel scams in olx. So please take legal actions against the culprit.

I have added one of my ads in olx so someone messaged me an army officer he called me and contacted me via whatsapp when i got suspicious, i searched his photo i saw a lot of fraud complaints talking about him so i told him to sell my vehicle and get me a new army bullet our chatting continues this will help the indian army do everything i can i beg him to be arrested and brought before the law

Your olx don't know how fraud is going on i have losen 1.5 lakh as fraud. And your company don't even take action on it. I am going consumer court for this purpose and i a have much evidence for this. Sir my friend and we looked for a motorcycle on olx india after wards we found they were fraud but we sent them 1.5 lakh. We have complaints done many times but not a single action taken. I want my money back. Yesterday also same case was reported and that boy has done sucide and who is responsible for this. I request u please check this. I am going to do fir on your company for sure. U have not taken any action till date.
