I saw a car in olx and wanted to buy it. The seller said he is working in indian army so he ll send the car buy indian postal service but i have to pay postal charges of rs 5200, then he said your parcel is on the way and after parcel man called n asked to pay insurance amount of rs 17400 then only car ll move towards your place, we paid the amount but aftr again he asked us to pay gst amount but we refused to pay. Please resolve this as soon as possible and help us refund the amount. Also help people not to get into trouble like this thank you.     Hi,
    I purchased samsung M20 mobile in OLX on 15th april 2020.
    at first look, without sim card, i find touch sensitive is fine and how do i guess that if i add simcard, it wont detect network and i cant guess this.
    Seller said he forgot charger and bill is in his mail and he said he will give those tomorrow and asked me to pay rs4400.

    Seems Seller had given defective/wrong piece to me.
    After reaching home, when i kept sim cards, it is not detecting and even imei number also not showing for that mobile

    Seller blocked my number in whatzapp and phone as well.
    Seems i lost my money 4400Rs.
    So If OLX team can help me to recover the amount, will be helpful

      On olx, I saw Iphone x mobile and connected to it, I fixed it at 14 thousand. He said that I have sent to send 500 rupees to Phone Pe and then the courier person called me to say pay me 2100 rs online. I will give the parcel in 30 minutes, but I have not paid, because no courier asks for payment, I called him before making the delivery, then he started calling himself an army man. Then he talked me dirty talk, after the call was disconnected, he has posted what he posted on olx I have all the screenshots that have been said and paid screenshots please check Please return my money 500 Rs

          Im using olx meny time...but my accounts are banned with out any reason..after that i will create a new account..then it will also be banned..i need to sell my things and i got meny offers from customers, but during that te my account is blocked..i didnt do any fraud activity..

              There was guy with name shrikant he was saying he is a army men, i saw a an ad on olx of iphone 6s. I already given him 4000rs he ask for the money so i sended him 4997 rs and after sending 4997rs he again asked me for 5999rs that i gave to him, i have got his army id card and aadhar card also and after that he again asked me for the money so i refused to give so he told me that delivery will be suspended after 2 months ill get refund of my money

                      Hi,

                      Few days back I saw vehicle advertise on OLX application, I immediately contact owner of the vehicle, ( scooty- Honda vehicle no. MH- 03 CU 2671, owner name was Mr. Ratan singh, he claimed he was indian military CISF services. He showed his ID card and Aadhar card to us by watsapp.
                      Later on his price was 20000 to sell the vehicle but negotiated on this and finally we done on 18000 for overall process. I shared my aadhar card to him for owner name changing process and other work, if the deal got finalised. Otherwise it will be cancelled.
                      So we convenience on this, and for this we sent first 3300rs to him for registration and later on 5700rs challan because he was sending through military transport, next he told us that we need to send remaining 9000rs for taking scooty for trial basis and if it's not liked than he will refund all money to us. So we sent 9000rs to him through Google pay, again he asked for total 9999rs for logistics which will be again refundable when they will deliver this scooty to us, meanwhile he told us that he is very to our home so do the process very fast, because once payment will done then only they can deliver the scooty to our home, so we sent all money to him, but later on he said we need to send him in break up of 2999 and 6999 for two the same reason, because he was not getting mail from military heafquater. So we were not having option but to send him again, so with this manner he took total 37997rs. On the place of 18000rs and also we didn't recieved his scooty. We sent all money through Google pay, phone pay and Paytm app.
                      then he asked us to send again 20000 rs, but then refused his offer and told him to cancel the deal, than he started conveniencing us, but we were stick to our conversation and cancel the deal with him, and asked him refund our all money, so he said he will able to refund in one month time, but later after so much of arguments, we agreed on it. But we got some stories and bad news about him through sources, so he was fraud then we called him again and again for couple of times but he is not answering calls.
                      We request you to please take some serious action against him as he is having number of cases against him and secondly if you can help us to get our money back so that will be big help for us. Hoping for serious and justified revert from you.

                          I m complaining about a fraud call who calling us monthly two times for washing machine and telling that he will send money now and he will lick the product later by his person.
                          While doing payment he is saying that he is getting error so that he is sending a bar code and telling us to scan and to click ok .as per that procedure if I follow the amount will get debited so pls take action on the number as soon as possible

                                They are the fake persons who claim ed the offer to me that Mobile not reached me and also they black mailed me as send money more I sent 19, 500 to them that product cost just 4500, But they collected 19, 500 from me then also my mobile no given to me.they tell to me as Indian army but they are fake people don't believe them ok.Accept this complaint.

                                  I got a message from a man by the name mayur kinekar phone number [protected] with a message saying suspense will be open soon don't worry. Firstly this was an for a female flatmate, not sure how he got access to it secondly, i will need to know what plan of action does olx have in case of such situations. Third i live alone and am concerned about my safety.

                                  Would be interested to know how is your company willing to provide satay and security to women who use your service if some random person is going to be able to sue my number like this and harass me.

                                    An ad was posted on olx about an used car. I wanted to purchased that car and hence contacted on the no. Given in the ad. Subsequently the person by the name sahil kumar said he works in the army and is posted at tezpur currently. The car belongs to his vikash patel who was being transferred to another place, so he wanted to sale of the car. As the car seemed to be in good condition in the photos he sent to me, i agreed to pay a token amount so as to book the car. He also sent some courier receipts with seal of Indian army to confirm that he has transported the car through car and bike transport service of DTDC. Next day upon enquiry he asked for some more money to which i declined following which he said that the car cannot be sent if the amount is not paid in full and after that he stopped picking up the calls.

                                      Last day i came through an olx user from whom we planned to buy an iphone 11 pro (Bargained value= rs. 40, 000). He claimed he is from the army and wont be able to meet in person with the product. He also claimed that his sister is in the hospital and he needed money which is why he wanted to sell his device so urgent. He first took a deposited amount of rs. 10, 000 and it was declared that the rest 30k will be paid after the delivery is done. Later, he again asked for another 10k claiming the courier service is having some issues with the delivery. We did pay the another 10k. Again, he asked for another 5k also which we paid. At last, he asked for the full amount even before the delivery of the device which we denied to pay. We asked for a refund as this whole system seemed like a fraud to us. We neither got the phone nor did we get the money back.
