Sir, i was looking for a laptop macbook there is an ad given on olx apple laptop 8gb ram 128 ssd in meerut cantt residential area. I had called on the number that was given in that ad.
He tell me his name mandeep from indian army and told that his brother purchased that laptop and now he is admitted so this time he is selling it and laptop is only 7 months old all the accessories and bill is available. When i asked him for the details he send me the bill named amandeep singh vihar east delhi and laptop pics nd confirmed the deal in 25000.
I asked him for how to payment. He said that he will courier at that time 5000 rs shoud be paid. Next day he send me pic of army post office tonk road jaipur and also his id card and aadhar nd maasage me two numbers of courier boy and courier office.
Next days he asked me transfer 5000 rs that there is an operation so he required in emergency.
Next day i was recieved call from the number which he given and aksed for delivery that i should have to pay all the remaining balance than only the parcel will be delivered because it is the policy of company. When i paid him then he asked 5100rs after some of the time left that you had not cleared your deal thats by your parcel delivery is stopped and said you have to pay 5100 rs to curior company and 5000 rs will be returned to you at delivery. I was refused for that than he said that your parcel will not be delivered. I had again paid. But till now i had not get my parcel. When i asked for my money to manjeet who was dealer of the product. He is not picking the phone and not responding.
I am very frustrating now. Please do needful for the same and help me to get my money returned.
Otherwise no one will faith on the website only and only due to some frauds.
I have all the details regarding it and attached the photo of search results and the photos he send to me for confirmation also his id card photo is attached which he send to me.

An olx seller was selling one plus 6 phone which i purchased from him.. I sent the money through paytm and he said he will ship the product through army postal service. He sent his id card for assurance. Next day some guy pretending to be courier boy called up saying that the paper work is incomplete ftom seller's end and i need to pay 8500 more as it is a time bound shipment. I paid the amount by paytm. Then again he said that the time has lapsed and i need to pay 17000 now in order to receive the courier. I paid it again. The money got debited from my account but the seller said that he hadn't received it. I had to send 17000 again. But after that i didn't receive the package. Neither the courier boy nor the seller was picking up the phone. After searching on google i discovered that the person has done this fraud with many other people by providing the same id card and pretending to be an army personnel. I have paid 16000 for phone. Then 8500+17000+17000 again when the courier boy insisted to pay in order to receive the parcel. Now i don't have the phone or my money. Please help me with this issue. Thanks

A man henry martin who was telling nigerian himself that he contacted me on olx to buy the phone. Then he asked for my whatsapp number. I talked to him and got deal done. And he said that i'll put money in your account right now within a day or two and then he said on the fourth fifth day thats a mail is on your mail id check it and go post office to shipped the item and after that send me the photo of tracking number and then he said that after that you will receive your money in your bank account.
Olx should take strict action against it

I bought a hard disk from unknown olx user with Ad ID: [protected] which turned out to be defective. The user refused test it saying that he can't allow strangers in his house so we met up at some place and i bought the hard disk.He assured me that its 100% working and it was in warranty and didn't agree for negotiation too so i had to give in 1000rs for a defective hard disk. He also lied to me that he owns a store and he will send the address once i bought the hard disk but as soon as i bought it he blocked me from whatsapp, calls and any kind of communication. He just cuts the call if i call him from any other number. Please help me 1000 bucks means alot to me.

Initially he(Ravi Kumar Prajapat - Amry Sipai - his profile ID card has details) said that couriered phone from Shamshabad. Later another person called me and said that he is Army dispatch person reaching my delivery location. Asked me to initially deposit 5150 to office Paytm account. When I did, called and said that you did wrong payment.Correct mode of payment is like 5000 and 150. I did payment. He said during delivery he will give cash of payment I did previously. Then again he called me and becoming serious. Saying that you did payment time crossed 8PM and order got BEND. If you want to recover totally you should send 15460/- to recover even previous amount

I said I will not pay. He said - If you don't pay, your phone and money will not be delivered and I will go back to office and he is threatening me that he will make call from higher officials and they will see you. Then you should go to Mumbai to collect.

again he called me and repeating same thing that I did wrong payment which is not 1 transaction. It should be 2 transaction. By this time I already lost around 78K. Now he is asking me to give 12000/-, if not he will not deliver phone and cash. Moreover he will make call with his higher officials. I am really worried and he is threatening me.

Please someone help me. I am going to L B Nagar, Cyber Crime Branch. I will share all mobile numbers in my compliant. If Olx people wants to help me in any way, I am ready to share those details.
As my phone screen was broken completely, I though of purchasing phone at olx. But I was cheated and threatened.
Today I am getting another spare phone to show my chat and responses and payment details to raise an FIR on these fraud people.

I am very big example here. Please do not trust for any offers. No one is fool to sell products at lower price when others are selling at higher prices.

Please someone help me. Those people are still responding on these numbers. If I call they are threatening me that they will make call fro their higher officials and will see me and will keep me in trouble.

I've sold my smartwatch to Shivam Shukla on olx for Rs.12, 520(including RS.520 for courier). The person ensured me that he will transfer the money to my account online however he transferred the money through NEFT which takes time(almost 24hrs) then after receiving the watch next day the person stopped the transfer of funds.
We tried to contact him several times but he didn't respond back.
The watch was also in solid condition. No harm was done whats so ever. Im uploading the watch condition along with the secured packing of the courier.
We've also got his photo and address which I'm also uploading.

Sir i have seen add in olx for tvs jupiter bike and i contact the seller he said i m from amry so need to pay full payment before delivery the bike respective address so i done full payment as deal was done for 28000. But product was still not received i have all telephoninc call record and payment receipt screen shots. Please let me help out from this situation

Hi i was frauded by a person named vikas patil he was selling a oneplus 6t phone and he told we can exchang a phone and continued to accept a money. He said he is an army officer and he accepted 96000 rs money. So please requesting u to take a look at this complaint and take necessary actions against him he posted a add of oneplus 6t in olx. Please take this seriously

On 3rd december 2018 i posted an add to sell my ps4.. Few people contacted me but there is one olx user named as nakul (Not real name i guess) was ready to purchase for rs19500... And the very next day he said he will come to collect the item and i went to location and before seing the item that guy said i need insurance for this item and i cant give full cash to you but i will pay rs18000.. He said i cannot check the item so i cant give you full cash and he said keep humanity i will transfer after reaching home n all... So i agreed hearing his words as he was talking about humanity so he might be genuine... Today is 3rd day i am still waiting for him to transfer and he didnt answer the call nor reply to my messages...
You might face this guy as he said he do purchased things from olx mostly and people cheated him in past.. And he deleted his account in olx

So there was an ad on olx with whatsap number - [protected] giving drones for very cheap price. I did a mistake and dint find it out much about it and just sent the money to these ###. They say we take half money before the order and after recieving the product we ask you to send the money. I sent 2.5k and after that the guy started telling give the other money too it seems his fake boss is not releasing the order. I got it they are crook. I dint send money and requested then threatened to return my money and at last he blocked me. Its very hard money and i request people to dont go for these cheap offers and waste your money. Please check the reviews about it and then carry forward.

Actually i was cheated yesterday by an army person (Mr. shrikant dubey) for rs 7000 also he not only cheated me but he cheated many peoples which i saw when i tried to lodge complaint against him online. [[protected]], then again he told me to do payment of 3000 rs on same number for courier, then i got a call from army courier boy that your parcel arrived in kota and i have to pay rs 3000 than again he called that 3000 need to pay otherwise parcel will be returned and again. I got a call to pay 3000 and mobile will be delivered to me . Also to build faith he has shared his army id, aadhar id, photographs in army uniform of himself and 3 ~4 persons other and by seeing this one cannot disbelief. My only request you is to take immediate action on them as they are spoiling armies image and losing trust of civilians, also stop them in cheating others and i get my money back.

Hi this is to bring to your notice that I was cheated by the army person called sanjay Singh I had paid him 17000 via paytm he had shared all the documents(liqour card adhar card pan card) he had also shared his photo in service dress and photo of the military post office which I guess is fake. They expect you to read all of the terms and conditions plus posting rules - the links for which are lost among all of the other text and images on the page. All it takes is one slip up like posting an ad for an item which is against their policy and your account will get banned - permanently! Yes permanently! That means you can no longer reactivate or create a new account using the same mobile number! How ridiculous! I understand that the company wants to be strict about the items being sold but you can warn the customer, notify the customer, remove the ad and let them carry on! But no, olx wants to ban you permanently! No consideration for buyers or sellers. I had potential buyers interested in my other ads. So what happens to them now? Come on olx, wake up!

On the plus side, the service is easy to use and i was getting good responses for my ads.

I got a call to pay 2100 more and mobile will be delivered to me but at this time i haven't send him money i had try to register complaint against him in sarkhej polis station but he has not done any inquiry by saying you have to register complain in chandkheda police station or crime branch.. Also to build faith he has shared his army id, pan card id, canteen id, aadhar id, photographs in army uniform of himself and 3 ~4 persons other and by seeing this one cannot disbelief. Nearly 45 days ago someone call me from olx and offer me a job in an hdfc bank and take my telephonic interview but after that they demand for money from me as a registration charge and i give them rs 750 which is refundable as they says that but they dont give me job and my money so please give me my money back i will give you a proof of giving money to that perticulat no.

This guy, cheated me last night 02 dec 2018, explained me saying army man in need of money, that is the reason i'm selling the phone, for sending courier they will charge 1500, so requested me to transfer 3000, but i transferred 2000 and after that i got a doubt by looking at the profile pic on whatsapp and the pics on the id cards which he sent are not matching, went and searched google with his name srikanth cisf, then came to know about this cheater, first time in my life got cheated by a person in disguise of army person. Guys pls be aware of this #, j don't know is there way we can get our money back?. Olx has to take an action and save genuine customers who are becoming victims of this fraud.
