Hi i am regular user of olx for purchasing and selling different products over a period of 1 years. On 10 july 2017 saw an add for selling of canon 70d
So i have send him a message, he send his mobile no.[protected] and after that i send him message on whatsapp and request him to send pictures of camera, so he sends me pictures of camera and also picture of the box. I was satisfied with the camera he told me i[censored] r interested in camera u will have to make advance payment then i will courier you the camera and all accessories. So i was agreed i will make the payment of rs 15000 as advance and remaining balance on receiving of courier. Therefore he provided me axis bank belgaum

I made a online deposit on 11th july 2017 from axis bank pathsala
He told me he will courier the same after receipt of money. So confirmation message come that money has been transferred. He told me he will courier the same in the evening. After that we keep in touch on whats app at regular interval.. Thereafter im trying to contact his phone, his mobile his switched off and messages on whatsapp is not delivering. So i think he cheated on me by taking my 15000/- so it is requested to you kindly look into matter and take the necessary action and provide the details of that person (Who posted that add) available with olx records in order to move forward.

Before paying my add has been visible but no clients replys responce through my adds but after paying package through my bank debit card my add has been deleted and sold??? This is the fourth time am facing this problem... What i should do i want to uninstall olx app or go to quikr or other apps... (No customer support and reply by olx team) too much of loss by olx. No use am going too logout from olx app... No support pls dont get loss... Waste of money...

I posted 3 ads on old today. A customer replied named geeta sharma 625mt away from my location. I replied her with my contact number but when i chatted.. I doubt. He/she is a fake customer and chatting double meaning types. Please delete my chat from her account as that contained my number. Geeta sharma's phone number and facebook account is verified with olx.

Sir, i want to know as to why my add is removed or discarded. It was not a free add, just note this, i paid rs 79, for this add for 1 month and it has been 2 days since it was posted, why doing fraudulent activity, i want complete resolution else i'm going to comment in consumer court and at every website regarding your fraudulent activity. My paid add was removed by olx team.

Attached was the advertisement I got cheated on, not a huge sum but for 800 rupees that i was told as a negotiate price for this radio since this was the one that was similar to the one at my home when I was a child and this was at a time when television was rare and this piece of instrument had entertained the family for a decade.So I was told that the courier shall be done post receiving the money and unfortunately I trusted this guy who shared his photo Id and the bank documents that increased my trust in him..
There is no where OLX is at fault, and I know the amount I have spent is not going to return back so just wanted to ensure this man doesn't cheat anyone again..
And it would be of huge help if there is a way I can be communicated in case such a radio comes again so I can purchase..

With reference to the ad on OLX, I contacted the person for the iphone 7 buying.

After taking the voter card softcopy by mail "[protected]@yahoo.com", after verifiying the bank details, I transferred the intial amount of 15000 INR to the bank account.
BALAJI told us that after receiving amount he will start the shipment of the mobile and will provide us the IMEI number and tracking ID.
ONCE phone will be received, You can check in nearest apple store that the mobile is genuine or not.
post verification remaining amount can be sent.

The reason given for the lesser amount of phone that "reliance warehouse giving the cell phones in half price to the employees, so he was selling these and getting some profit"
We had contacted to the nearest reliance store to get it verified.

once the amount was transferred, he started giving reasons fornear about two weeks. My husband was taking follow up with him and he was lying.
The moment i said that my husband will not be handlling the issue and i will be taken care of this deal, he switched off the cell.
And its been a week he is not picking up his call.

I posted an advertisement for selling a laptop on olx, when a person named Adria Barnett contacted me, saying she is from USA and needs it for an orphanage. It seemed fishy as the amount she was paying was twice what I asked for. Further she was asking for following details

Please take actions so that any gullible person may not be trapped.

Sir in olx the real estate seller all are brokers. Not a owners of land/house/selling assets. It is only helpful to brokers. They will demand commission from claint it is fully illegal. So plz don't encourage such useless broker's.in real estate details house for rent or sell or other catagary, all add photos uploaded by brokers, not by owner plz avaide such persons, becz they miss use customers they demand brokerage amount lack together. So plz avaide. We are middle class people. They will hike the property value.

I got an add of german shepherd puppy male on the site with contact number [protected]. When i contated him, he told his name gaurav. After that he sent me railway receipts of previous booking to getting faith upon him. Afterwards he sent some pics of puppy amd ask me to transfer money in his account. But since one moth he is only bluffing with me about delivery and not picking up phone. Please look into the matter as it is not only the matter of fraud but issue regarding prestige of olx site. Feel free to contact me any time regarding issue.

I am from bhilai. People here are selling seal packed "mi" brand mobile phones higher than its price. Like if the price of phone is 9000 rs they are selling it for about 9300 to 10000 rs. No one can sell a product higher than mrp. People are misusing olx platform for their bussiness.
Another complaint i want to talk about is people are selling duplicate or its replica at the price of original product which is fraud. All those ads must be blocked.

I saw an add on olx which is deleted now.
I contacted him and he told he is going to send it by next day and said to pay 3000 before shipment then afterwards his mobile is switched off... I paid 3000 for it. Its totally spam. I have his bank account details and mobile number.

I had seen an add on OLX HTTPs://WWW.olx.in/item/garden-table-with-chair-ID16LzDR.html as i was looking for furnitures for my Balcony. Spoke to Kavita Agarwal ([protected]) & Shariq ([protected]) agreed to Rs.4000 but when i reached their house all the way from Basavanagudi to Singasandra which took me more than 2Hrs because of the extremely heavy traffic from Jayadeva Hospital to Silkboard they said they will sell the furniture for Rs.5000/- after a thought I agreed to their demand because it took me a very long time to reach this place and i was totally frustrated hence agreed to pay Rs.5000 and after a while they said they don't want to sell their furniture. I was completely pissed off cause i had spent Rs.645/- to reach their place to pick the furniture and these Insane stupid couples goofed up.
I request OLX to take strict actions against these ###### Insane Couples and teach them some professional manners.

The owner delivered a non functional fridgeon 9th of june 2017 and collected the entire payment Rs 7500, however the initial confirmation payment of Rs 200 was done via paytm . later he sent his technician after repeated calls (after a week) who took the motherboard of the fridge. Now its been almost two weeks and still there is no help infact neither the technician nor the owner is picking the call, they has blocked us.

I would a refund immediately as that is the least i expect from olx and those suppliers.

It would be grateful if stringent actions can be taken against them, also they have a whole electronics shop in lalbaug bangalore called Smart elctronics

Then after he request to deposit amount with cause of illness of his relative to pay doctor fee

But yet no one mobile reach at my address from 17 jul to now 21 jul and person hwo make fake id on olx
And courier person said that recipt fake
Please help me and please recover my 6500

He replied after hours that please share your contacts details so i give him my number then he msg me on whatsapp that dog is still available then he told me to call him so i called then we have a deal for german shepherd dog. He call himself najeem khan (Duplicate of salman khan) he send me videos and photos of the dog and told me that he work on a animal trust that is why he is giving dog at so low price so i told him that i am going to out of town after i came back i order it. So he said okay. He said that you have to do advance payment via net banking or paytm i said okay. He said that he lives in goregaon, mumbai. He said that he will send dog by animal transport so i said okay then on 18th june, 2017 i ordered dog he said that after booking you have to do advance payment so i send rs500 in his paytm account after booking i got a message on my number from hp-animal that your booking for pet is confirmed please do advance payment. So i send 500rs on this no. [protected] via paytm after 30 minutes the payment he blocked me on whatsapp the numbers he gave me of animals transport are switched off and one number is of the paytm. Then i called him his no. Is also switch off then i msg him on his another no. On whatsapp then he said that you will get your dog. Then i msg him when tell me the email address of animal transport but he didnt reply. Today i called him he said that you will not get your dog so i said what about my money he said forget about it and cut the call and blocked me.
I requesting you to please block this blue sky 7 from olx.in so hee did not make fool of anyone else. He is a fraud. Animal transport company is fraud.

I have been a victim of fraud where the person lured me to buy a product on the one of the most trusted sellers olx, he said he has sent a parcel, there was also a dm-message generated to make me believe that this is all genuine, it has been three days now and i have not yet received any package, the person had said that he had the parcel from speed post courier from surat, a partial amount of money has been already transferred to his paytm account and before i could that i have checked the details and it showed the seller was verified and hence i had no ambiguity to go ahead and make a payment

I had bought a fridge and washing machine through a seller through olx. He promised one year free service warranty. After transportation of fridge, unknowingly we switched it on when we were not supposed to. When we called the seller he told he will send his service people and maybe take some charge. We agreed. We have been calling him for two days and he has been ignoring our complaints and postponing the service. Gake promises and fake warranty. A new fridge is lying waste in the house because of a faulty seller we found through olx. I request you to contact the seller and get back to us.
