Hi, I would like to informand complaint about the failure of OLX which I feel. Being a buyer if I like something to buy I used to message through chat option to seller as there is no option to directly call the seller from September onwards but due to some issue the seller is not responding instead of repeated messages of showing interest to buy the product, this way nor I am able to buy the given product and neither seller is able to sell his product. For example I liked a fridge and for same I messaged the seller that I am intrested in buying the fridge but since he is not responding from last 2 days I am not able to buy the fridge, this way olx is getting failed day by day and forcing me to quit the application and inform my sorrunding about the failure of the good application. I know that for security purpose olx is not displaying the seller number but this is the biggest drawback of application. As per my suggestion olx should interfare and contact the buyer and seller and then they can get the deal happened with the support of their agent by maintaining the privacy, olx can charge for same. I would request olx to support in my case aa seller is not responding to my messAges????

It's a fraud his name is Nazeem Khan +[protected] n according to him he is a model as he is a duplicate of Salman khan, everything looked normal but after a time I realized it's a scam.

    Hi ! I am sahil i am regular user of olx but recently I bought a mobile phone from a ####### named akash he sold me mobile saying that mobile dont have any problems but all what he claimed was wrong I bought that phone and he said that it will take 15-20 min to start and left but since then mobile have not shown any moments, and he also switched of his phone so i am not able to contact him please help me am in so muchuch pain he thugged me.I beleived that olx is trustable but as this happened... I personally dont have good thoughts for olx... Plz help me getting through this and restore our faith in you...

      I bought a router yesterday, i told him that the router connect with mobile and he said i don't know so i test router in friend home.
      The router can't connect with it so i call him to replace with money, he told me i cannot replace and i also tell him that i will do complaint about this. He told me do whatever. I went to this home. He can't walk out their home, also he can't receive my mobile phone. He didn't answer me. Shortly i call him at phone he didn't get my call or i blocked by him. So what i do now?

        One of sellers on olx platform sold me fraud iphone 5s gold colour, just after one day the screen stopped working, has tried to reach seller, but of no avail as seller has put his number on switch off mode since than and address given is of some other state. Has called up olx team for the same but was not provided any solution.

            I m olx customer and not able to find my budget car bcoz of restrictions of distance set 1km... How can i get the car in this way.. Then later on i started doing rnd then i came to know that on top u can select and get it... Trust me not all are users savvy and will stop searching and will try other websites for car... My suggestion is keep within city option on the front page and rest options on top... U will get good business...

              He said me to forward my resume, I did it.
              After that he said me deposit Rs. 1520/-
              After I denied to do so he started abusing me on msg as well as by calling.

                Hey recently i wanted to buy a x2-01 mobile in mumbai which is not available so i looked out for another states

                so i got this person name pawan he said me to pay 1700rs 1500rs for mobile and 200rs courier charges via paytm so i transferred, but he is saying he didnt received any money but from my account it was sent, so i contacted paytm customer care they said the amount has been received by that pawan guy and he also transferred the sum amount to his bank account so they cant refund me back my 1700rs
                no today he even blocked me on whatsapp and not receiving any phones from unknown numbers!!!

                PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE A VERY SERIOUS ACTION AGAINST HIM!!

                here is what the paymtm guys told me back

                We tried reach you via call but there was no response from our end.

                As per your concern we would like to inform you that as we have check and found that the transaction against Transaction id :- [protected] of INR 1700 which was transferred from your wallet for the mutual deal was first transferred to paytm wallet registered with mobile no :- [protected] and then the amount has been transferred to bank account .

                At present, we have blocked this accounts for further use. So we suggest you that kindly take a legal action and lodge a FIR against the given details including all the incident happens during the time of transaction and then share the copy of FIR with us.

                Since the amount has already been consumed and transferred to bank hence we are unable to refund the same.

                To avoid such inconvenience in future, please follow the steps below to make sure this doesn't happen again.

                1. Always keep your password, OTP confidential and never share with anyone.
                2. Beware of websites and social media pages that are propagating fake offers.
                3. Do not share your login details, transaction IDs or order IDs over unsolicited calls/ emails/ website links
                4. Do not enter your Paytm account credentials anywhere except www.Paytm.com. Always look for https login while logging in Paytm.
                5. Change your password regularly
                6. Never share your credit/debit card or bank details with anyone
                7. Set a difficult password
                8. Commit it to your memory and do not write it down, Do let us know if any other assistance is required from our end.

                  I have bought a fridge from a registred dealer in olx smart electronics on 01st may 2017. The fridge was delivered to me tomorrow at 10p. M. At indiranagar pawan gardens. Then did not let us check the fridge saying that the are sone oil and compression things due to travelling and to switch it on after one hour. The fridge is not working at all and the concerned people are not picking up the calls in all the numbers. These fradulent people should be punished for there job and olx should take some action against them

                    Hi i m a car dealer and i have taken ur 4999 package... Now a days u have set just 1 km distance for customer... Now u tell me if customer doesn't know how to select within city option which u have given on top and that is also in symbol way.. Then how we will get business... Trust me no calls from customers for any enquiry.. Earlier when there was no distance limits so we was getting approximately 20 calls and now no calls in whole day... This is very bad for us who are paying u every month on time and u r setting distance limits listening to those customers who are just timepass... If a customer is really interested they will call us anyhow.. But it should be simple as earlier where customer opens olx he gets all ads at the same time.. And he don't need to struggle... Pls our business is going in loss.. Now u think cust can get cars near by but this is just 1 km.. Do u really think in just 1 km he can get his need.. Believe me no...
                    In fact here there are 100% time pass customer who just wanted to take an idea... Pls stop this otherwise me and maximum dealers are going to quit from next month... Pls show this msg to ur those higher authorities who just take decision anyhow and don't even ask or take suggestions from dealer s who r giving u business... Choice is urs..

                      I have contacted the seller through OLX for a refrigerator. However he delivered the refrigerator with in 2 days. The delivery boy told us not to start the fridge right now because some jerking happened while shipment of the fridge so start after 45 mns. We started the fridge but it s not at all working then we kept it for 1 hour on mode no cooling. Then i am continuously calling him as he said 1 year warranty & free service. But till date he did not come for the servicing. he took 5100 rupees from me for that not working fridge. I am giving his contact Details he has also given me a bill. daily i am calling him & he is giving me some other reasons for unable to come for service.

                      To update my complaint as discussed with the OLX customer care i am hereby raising once again the complaint against the "Smart Electronics". After launching the complaint the seller called me & agreed to come for the service but he came on 27th April 2017 (My initial complaint date is 20th April 2017) & told me to cancel the complaint & keeping his shop's reputation in mind i have flagged as resolved. However last Thursday he came at around 1:30 AM & within half an hour he said the fridge can't be repaired but he will replace the fridge by 1st of may as day time is required for him. Further i called him on 30th April 2017 & he confirmed that he will come on 1st May afternoon to evening time, but he did not arrive to my place. The whole day i was in home & tried continuously calling him but there was no reply.
                      Today morning when i called him at last he answered me in the afternoon saying some reason that he is nnot able to come. Then i asked him to refund but he said it is not at all possible.
                      I told him that the fridge is not at all working from the very first day & 250-300 times i have called him one by one he has given me some reason for not coming. Today after all this things i have asked him to refund he denied & i also told him that please refund the whole amount otherwise i will go to the police, he said don't threat me about police, i will not refund you, you can do anything you want very vulgarly he replied.
                      I earnest request to OLX if possible kindly take some necessary steps against him & try to refund me the amount i have paid.

                      The seller is not at all answering my calls whenever I am calling him. Apart from that he has already blocked all my numbers. Furthermore when I am calling him from other numbers he is suddenly disconnecting the call while getting my name and place. I think there is some law to treat this fraud business dealers.                                 I have brought a fridge with the ad id -[protected] from olx. The add says refrigerator is in working condition and there will be free delivery. But as you know the fridge can be switched on atleast few hours after transportation. So when we switched on the fridge, it caused an electrical short circuit. Our power went off. The fridge is not actually in working condition. There was several communications with the seller - imran, however he was rude and never ready to give the cash back or replace the item. Even have threatened me. When i went to see the seller in person, there was one more olx customer - ashwini who has the same complaint as mine.                                   I write to you informing you in prior that the humiliation & embarrassment caused by olx to a genuine user, in this case its me (Account id - [protected]@gmail.com)

                                  Iam informing you that i will be taking olx (India) to court & lodge a formal complaint for the harassment caused with intent to a genuine user with the above id. I have created content on which no one can have any rights and also have substantial information and interaction generated on ones own will and efforts. The buyer seller info generated by me has come to cause a substantial loss to me owing to this "ban" which has compromised the content generated by me without prior notice and unreasonable grounds for the ban.

                                  The account has been banned as noted by your customer executive, as one who claimed herself as bhavneet or whatever the person may be, for reasons that she alleged as "these kind of ads" referring to a non-monetary dating ad posted as personals. Olx usa & europe have all kinds of ads that border in the perosnal space and choices of individuals which includes "dating". However your agent and olx has come to ban the account on grounds of "these kind of ads" apparently implying that its illegal with implied moral judgement from the representative of olx-india with call center number of[protected].

                                  Besides the loss incurred and personal harassment meted out by the company olx to a genuine user, i also have proof that it blatantly encourages posting agents who create content on behalf of others without the real owners consent & illegally without any legal rights act as brokers/commission agents to make a quick buck by withholding direct information of the real owners.

                                  This is encouraged further by olx which doesn't make & has deliberately failed to make serious segregation and filtration of true individuals (Actual buyer /sellers called so henceforth) from posting agents / brokers in its user interface.

                                  This clearly underlines the intent to extend support subtly to unscrupulous elements and also encourage that they thrive by allowing ads from them and wasting time effort & energies of true buyers like me. The claim can be clearly proven if you go to the pre-owned cars section where-in a majority of the cars listed for sale are done by unscrupulous elements like brokers (Without any license to conduct business activity).

                                  Olx-india has the gall to support indirectly, with intent to support such illegal brokers, posting agents (As olx refers to them in its policy t&c). But when it comes to genuine users like me it takes a bold step without reasonable notice period /resolution and explanation for a ban which cannot be proven as grounds for the same in the indian cyber penal codes. (Non monetary-dating ad (Non commercial), i repeat is not a illegal activity to ban without prior reasonable notice.)

                                  I have clearly mentioned to the executive who didn't forward my call to senior level managers, on my personal request for a resolution, and intimates that senior level managers too will report the same and behave in the same manner. She also refused to give me a complaint number on request and also a moral obligation on a complaint raise request. The email account of olx grievance officer too has been deliberately shut off (See [protected]@olx.in)

                                  I clearly communicate my intent to take olx india to court for this outright humiliation & perceived loss done with intent. Whereas the illegal brokers (Non licensed) clearly conduct business easily with indirect support from olx india and waste time / energies / money of real individual users with rights to freedom of expression and choices.

                                  Call placed to the executive at april 21/2017 12:01pm after the account ban done previous day by olx-india.

                                  Your BAN does not comply with the Constitution of the Indian republic, nor does it comply with Democratic principles. This is a serious Offense by OLX, much worse than the FASCIST, NAZI regimes as this BAN is done to OLX convenience.

                                  I have already posted a Complaint against OLX which Banned my account without Prior Notice / Intimation & outright refusal to a Copy request of my Own generated Content. [ See complaint under the same USER ID as stated above, posted 21 April, 2017]

                                  OLX INDIA has very Low Corporate Ethics & standards of Conduct. Any genuine USER, which exist as Fraction, as they get banned easily. They are a fraction, simply because majority of the Accounts generated are o[censored]nauthorized Brokers/ Posting AGENTS who have a Soft-Support of OLX INDIA, despite their illicit Unscrupulous activities.

                                  As Most of the OLX Users may be aware that the OLX market Place is for genuine USERs (actual sellers & Buyers) and not for Posting Agents who are in most cases unauthorized to conduct business and definitely not in the way they deal with genuine Buyers.

                                  For Instance if you search the Pre-owned CAR categories most Listings have been made by BROKERS and not actual owners which are incomplete and never receive prompt revertals and in most cases are duplicates or SPAM content.

                                  This may not be objectionable in itself, however these unscrupulous elements with their sheer numbers subvert the actual buyers T&C and their rights (like meeting and discussion with owners of cars before finalizing is denied by these brokers who pose as dealers who have taken possession of the vehicle. This is one of the various shady and illegal activities which is indirectly supported by OLX INDIA.

                                  One may think what OLX has got to do with it. Its simple MODUS OPERANDI. OLX is a platform or market place wherein, ideally, buyers & sellers meet and the perceived demand Supply dictates the Prices.

                                  Now picture this- OLX is a free service option with bare minimum quality. The Brokers & Posting Agents create SPAM content or even products that are ridiculously high-priced with no factoring of actual depreciating assets valuation. These products never get sold but are recycled as ADs repeatedly. OLX ofcourse has knowledge of it as USERs regularly reported with Harassing ADs of such nature.

                                  OLX conveniently turns a BLIND-EYE to these Reports and doesn't care much of the agony caused to actual buyers and also the seller whos product doesnt get sold. OLX does this and supports such SPAM content of brokers & posting agents even after being reported, simply because these ADs which are almost SPAM, generate revenue for OLX INDIA due to its viewership count like TRPs followed by TV channels. These Listing Pages have ADs of various companies which Pay OLX INDIA.

                                  So, the bottomline is OLX India, is no where closer in its stated intent to ease Buying & selling. However by supporting these Brokers its only generating short term revenue & losing rapidly its genuine customer base.

                                  I as an individual USER got banned for not complying to a rather questionable Clause Policy which OLX has. This ban happened instantly. However the Reports on these POSTING AGENTs goes conveniently unnoticed, or pretext of high volume traffic. they simply don't want to curb this menace as they get to earn on the sly.

                                  Its also subverting the Users right to information and access to their own content. Their cheapness & lowly Ethics get mistaken for Pseudo-NAZI like behavior which is also confirmed.

                                  OLX-Indias USER INTERFACE (UI, as its called) doesn't include a simple filter tool that can segregate INDIVIDUALS from BROKERS/ AGENTS which therefore confirms their subtle intent to support conveniently what suits their "Short-Term Cheap Indian corporate Greed" and betray genuine Users of their Time, Money, and efforts unquestionably.

                                  Complaints such as these are again used by these Indian Corporates for their Feedback with no actual acknowledgement o[censored]ser or the source that brings to their notice.

                                  (ALL email Exchanges and Report evidences I have which proves this as genuine Scamming practices of OLX INDIA. I invite all Users to report BROKERS and Flawed ADs which have ADs splashed on their pages. These ones never will get banned & as genuine Users you have been disrespected and left betrayed )

                                  As stated complaint above, OLX India, has policy clause of intolerance to such POSTING AGENTS as they call it in their T&C's. However these are conveniently ignored wherein an individual's account gets banned swiftly. Wish they acted with the same swiftness & urgency when unscrupulous elements get reported. This seldom will happen as OLX India in itself is unscrupulous like its almost dead cousin - QUIKR.

                                    He is such a fraud. The image posted on add is a new n a lavish building but the actual building is ages old and looks nowhere like it is in the add. And he is so arrogant while navigating the address.. He could have rather mentioned in the address​ in the add itself to avoid the confusion. I personally feel you people from olx should verify a property before uploading them before making a fool out of customers. I am really disappointed. Attaching photos for reference.

                                      I have contacted the seller through OLX for a refrigerator. However he delivered the refrigerator with in 2 days. The delivery boy told us not to start the fridge right now because some jerking happened while shipment of the fridge so start after 45 mns. We started the fridge but it s not at all working then we kept it for 1 hour on mode no cooling. Then i am continuously calling him as he said 1 year warranty & free service. But till date he did not come for the servicing. he took 5100 rupees from me for that not working fridge. I am giving his contact Details he has also given me a bill. daily i am calling him & he is giving me some other reasons for unable to come for service.

                                      To update my complaint as discussed with the OLX customer care i am hereby raising once again the complaint against the "Smart Electronics". After launching the complaint the seller called me & agreed to come for the service but he came on 27th April 2017 (My initial complaint date is 20th April 2017) & told me to cancel the complaint & keeping his shop's reputation in mind i have flagged as resolved. However last Thursday he came at around 1:30 AM & within half an hour he said the fridge can't be repaired but he will replace the fridge by 1st of may as day time is required for him. Further i called him on 30th April 2017 & he confirmed that he will come on 1st May afternoon to evening time, but he did not arrive to my place. The whole day i was in home & tried continuously calling him but there was no reply.
                                      Today morning when i called him at last he answered me in the afternoon saying some reason that he is nnot able to come. Then i asked him to refund but he said it is not at all possible.
                                      I told him that the fridge is not at all working from the very first day & 250-300 times i have called him one by one he has given me some reason for not coming. Today after all this things i have asked him to refund he denied & i also told him that please refund the whole amount otherwise i will go to the police, he said don't threat me about police, i will not refund you, you can do anything you want very vulgarly he replied.
                                      I earnest request to OLX if possible kindly take some necessary steps against him & try to refund me the amount i have paid.

                                      Further to continuation to the complaint i would like to update that the seller is a true fraudulent. As he committed to come on 7th May, but he didn't. After that he told me to remove the complaint after that only he will come for replacement. But till date daily he is saying tomorrow he will come, But actually he is lying to me. He has already blocked my all numbers so that i can't make a call to him. Whenever i am calling from different numbers he is answering and after few seconds he is disconnecting the call. Please block his account from the social buying & selling sites as these fraudulent people will never change them. He has already taken the whole amount from me. And he is not afraid of police too. Please take a necessary action against him. That is my earnest request.

                                      I purchased a washing machine from Smart Electronics through OLX. Firstly they delivered after 2 days of promised date. After delivery they told me that machine has to be installed by a plumber. I think they purposely came late in the night, so that we cannot get any plumber at that time. After the plumber installed it the next day. It's not been working at all. I have been contacting them for 2 weeks now and they give a different story each day. Complete fraud case. OLX should identify such sellers and block them from selling. Attaching the invoice. They have given 1 year free service warranty.

                                        People are not interested in buyinng but they are interested in making friends and chatting for fun which is very annoying. Measures should be taken to block such people from using the app. It turns away serious buyers/sellers
