I had seen an advertisement of macbook pro in my area (South Dumdum, Kolkata) on 26th July, 2022. Thy guy was selling that for Rs.18800/-. On 31st July I called him to ask details of the product. He said that i am in Kerala got transferred few days back. But he said he will courier the product if I'm interested. I asked for some details of the product. He said he has 2 macbooks, so selling the one. he also send some more pictures through whatsapp. His whatsapp & contact number is [protected]. I decided to buy the product. He told me to pay me some amount & he will courier the product. I paid 1500/- through UPI. After that he was going to deliver the laptop from the bluedart. He made a fake bluedart slip. After that i paid him Rs. 17000/-.On next day as the shipment tracking not available, I called him. After 1 hr he said as the bill amount is 85000/-, so I have to pay another 2000/- to courier. after some discussion I paid the amount. He said within 1 hr it will be done. But he was totally fraud. After that he did not picked up phone and not replied to whatsapp. Switched OFF the phone.
I paid him total amount of Rs. 20500/-

I had posted an ad for 3 BHK flat sharing and i got 3-4 response when I clicked on chat and read 1 or 2 chat my account suspended and i was socked same with my 2 more accounts also suspended and i got Pro version of @Magicbricks. Olx India think they are best but everyone knows that they are wast

Olx have loot this much of amount from a huge number of customer
Then a huge amount of money olx have made from this kind of fraud

Olx India has been suspending my accounts for no absolute reason for a while now. I didn't text any potential buyers for money neither posted anything suspicious or did a scam. They've so far suspended almost 5 of my accounts for no reason. This is unacceptable. Whereas some scammers who are openly posting fake scam ads of selling high end flagship smartphones for cheap prices. Olx doesn't bat an eye. Disappointed in OLX..

Olx India banned my account with no reason. Please specifiy the reason and unbanned my account.

I was looking for a second hand Kinetic Honda. I came across an ad in OLX on 31st of July 2022 I saw an ad of Kinetic Honda (2016 Model 3 g) https://www.olx.in/en-in/bengaluru_g4058803/scooters_c1413 and contact number was given as[protected] called the person name Vikas Patil received the call and I was told he is an Indian Army officer and on duty in Devenahalli. Due to his immediate transfer he wants to sell his vehicle, Kinetic Honda 2016...

Olx banned my account for no reason. I don't know what heavenly excuse they have but i haven't done anything suspicious. If they can't catch fraudsters they'll catch and brag about the no of accounts banned to stop it.If you can't make it safe atleast don't make it frustrating.

I was planning to buy a bed from OLX when I communicated a person he said he cannot meet and show the items due to Indian Army restrictions.

Person represented himself as a Army officer and asked to me pay Rs. 1800 first as he is going to do the delivery from the army courier service.

Later on he was asking for more money and I denied to pay.after sometime he called me and said he will return my money and I willl have to call a person to get that money.

So when I called the person, he shared me a QR codeand again stolen the 1800 Rs from my Paytm account.

I am sharing the below details of person and bank account who did this fraud with me.

Kindly remove my car details & cellphone number from your database as I no longer need your service. I have sold my car outside to olx. Same has been informed to you team but still there are daily tons o[censored]nwanted calls from your side. It is very annoying & disturbing for me.

So please process my request ASAP & acknowledge me.

If you fail to do this then I will register police complaint against you.

Today 31.7.2022 an OLX User Prince David asked me to share my number... Because I showed interest in his advertisement "Sony Camera".

I shared my number, after few minutes he called me in WhatsApp number... He quoted for Rs 2000/- and i quoted for Rs.1000/-. He said for courier it may cost around 150/- to 180/-. So we finalized at Rs.1100/-.

He asked me initial payment of Rs200/-... I paid him to his given UPI ID [protected]@paytm through my ICICI mobile banking app.

He said he will courier the camera and send me the receipt.

Then after sometime he again called and asked me to pay another Rs.300/- because his parents adviced him to get atleast 50% of the dealing amount and then send the product.

I sent another Rs.300/- ... So total I paid Rs. 200+300=Rs 500/-.

After sending money when I called him he disconnected my phone.

I found he deleted all his messages from WhatsApp chat.

Then I wrote lots of messages... Now he started playing mind game with me... He wrote message asking me to pay full amount then only he can send the product.

In his introduction he said he is from Chennai Maduravoyal but recently shifted to Mumbai...

So i told to send the product at his apartment in Maduravoyal. I will pay the remaining Rs600/- to his relative who will handover the product to me...

There won't be any confusion.

But his all messages he deleted shows his dishonesty...

Please take this issue seriously.

I am sending all the WhatsApp chat and the money i sent to him.

Olx people are so unprofessional they have banned my account for no reason why they advertise so heavily if they do not want people to sell/purchase on their site. I didn't purchase any item on old only for 2 wheeler purchasing I was chatting with few sellers and just asked is this available and they banned my account.

I am facing this for my other olx account as well.

After 2 month i had opened a olx to sell good .But, While logging in it The popup message has arrived about the suspension of my id.

I am unable to login to my Olx account. Its showing account banned. I hardly use the olx and I dont see any justification to ban my account. Please look into it team OLX

My Olx account - [protected] has been banned without any notice. I don't think any suspicious activity from my account has happened so far and also I have helped Olx identifying an illegitimate user once.
