I faced fraud/ scam using qr code on olx platform. The numbers are being shared to third party unauthorized users to call directly and scam sellers. I have been victim of 30000.00/-

I had posted ad to sell my furniture. There were few buyers interested and and few had requested my CONTACT number to discuss. However i got a call from unknown number immediately after posting the ad and offered to buy. Their were actually ready...

For no reason, Olx has suspended my account . I have never sold anything yet from my account and there is no proper explanation or mail given by olx as to why this has happened....

I have become the victim of losing rs. 30000 when I tried to sell my sofa. One person called me and asked me to share the contact no. He told he will buy the item and agreed to send the money. He sent me qr code which directed me to send the amount to his account. I have been cheated. It's purely olx fault....

Olx people are so unprofessional they have banned my account for no reason why they advertise so heavily if they do not want people to sell on their site .
i made an ad to sell a commercial vehicle, without any confrontation in between of my chats they suspended my account.
If this is the attitude towards clients in a public forum which olx india, nobody would get any privacy in anything...

Hi I have tried to buy canon 6d through olx. This guy Amit kumar said he is an army officer and he will send it through some army postal service and it will reach to me in 24 hrs. So Initially I believed since he is an army officer. I have send 2000 as advance and 4200 as some army security fee .
then I'm just searching for this specific Indian army postal service and realised there is no such thing
attaching the numbers which...

First time i am selling my product on oxl india... Yesterday I got a enquiry of buyer call amit kumar he said himself army man... He has sent his no so i had whatsapp her then he agree to buy my kurti without knowing detail that time i had doubt but still I had talk to him.
Then he ask me about my paytm n ask me to transfer 1 rs then I received it back... And then ask for remaining 399 rs i have received transfer today but i didn't...

I have sold my vehicle to OLX auto on 8-Jan-22, my vehicle number is MH14 EU 0674.

As per your promise I should get the pending amount of Rs. 5000 in 3-4 days after vehicle sale. As of today I didn’t got it, i am continuously in touch with your sales or marketing representative but no assurance yet.

Hi my name is Shahabas and I get call frm olx executives continuesly regarding posting add for particular amount and I got a package recently, but after posting add the problem is that I can’t open any chat or selling chat,
Unfortunately I paid some amount for the package and then no body giving me any response from olx, now I got disappointed with olx in this case

Deleted the information and account from there site/app still getting multiple spam calls and msg. I will take legal action if this not stop and suggest other not to use there platform for anything as they will start spamming. Olx must give dnd option...

Hello. I am adi an olx user .yesterday
I posted an ad for selling some items
I got a message from an olx user
He said he is an army official and his name is Anil Kumar.
I gave him my number and he gave me his
He said his driver will come at 6 in the evening to pick up the items
I messaged him the amount and he asked if I use paytm or google so that he can pay me the required amount..somehow he tricked...

Olx fraud, the guys posted a futniture ad, and told that he works for indian army and want to sell the product
only after an advance of 20% amount...

I was selling my book then someone called manjeet called me and said that he will pay in advance.he made a scam of 22k inr

Someone else has used my number in an olx advertisement. I did not put any advertisement in olx but i am receiving a lot of calling regarding the advertisement. Kindly solve the issue and remove the advertisement. My number is [protected] and people are asking me regarding a fridge sale. Kindly please remove that advertisement. I could not add any screenshot as I couldn't find the ad but people have been calling me for it....

Olx continuously banning all my accounts for no reason.. this is very disgusting...

First of all I am totally disappointed and skeptical about how far the application is safe.
I have turned on my safety modes in the application and have added 5 ads to sell my textbooks.
The safety detection mechanism in your application totally failed in assessing how genuine the buyer who is reaching out to me .!!
Why hasn’t you app warned me prior to interacting with a buyer on the degree...
