I posted an ad for a cycle on OLX and a man contacted me claiming to be an army officer and said that he would pay through indian army swipe machine, he sent me a code to test for 1 rupee transaction but which was successful, and then he tried sednibg me a code for INR 6700 which got debited from my account

I paid for featured ad 1650 rs . They placed my ad for 2 hours only and then they expired my ad however they took money for 30 days. Reason they told me that I changed the location however there application captured wrong location and I corrected it manually. Now they are saying they will not put my advertisement back on featured. For only two hours they charged 1650 rupees. I am very much disappointed by there features service. Please help me to resolve this issue.

Hello, this is Aniket. I have sold my car (hyundai i10 magna AT) at olx cash my car (kolkata, Newtown ) branch on[protected] for rupees one lac twenty three thousand from which they transferred one lac thirteen thousand rupees to my bank account on spot and as per their policy they hold ten thousand rupees for six months till rc transfer, but after completion of the stipulated time period I called them and mailed them for so many times regarding the money and rc transfer but each time they receive my call and gives me false information that the money will come by this date or that date and the rc will be transferred you don’t need to worry, Now it has became so irritating and I am fed up with this calls, mails and making complaints to olx for the very same reason. I’m completely devastated and feeling cheated by this so called big company ‘Olx India’. This is the only way left for me to complaint here in consumer forum. Seeking your support in this matter.

Hi, I'm a victim of online fraudulent transaction of Rs.15000 on OLX through google pay on 19-October-2021.

A buyer named Rakesh Sarma contacted us. This is his profile ID on OLX- https://www.olx.in/profile/[protected].

He told us that he is a merchant from Indiranagar and sent a merchant QR code to scan and send amount and it would be refunded to us immediately.
We sent 15, 000 of Rs. 5, 000 in 3 installments through Google Pay. He kept asking us to do this fast.

This is his UPI ID- bharatpe[protected]@yesbankltd
I have the withdrawal statements of this transaction and recording of the call. Attaching all screenshots i could gather.

But till now also after 1.5 yr also they are repeatedly calling me 3-4 times in a day, it is really frustrating. Please resolve my issue, otherwise i have to make a complaint against you in the cyber cell.

I added some item in olx, I got one call from Urmila verma old furniture shop J P nagar bangalore. He called me : [protected] and whatsapp me : [protected]. given me some QR code to do scan and pay via paytm. He was telling he is doing me payment through scan machine thats why first I need to pay amount and he will pay my amount plus item amount. and his agent will come and collect the item from my location. I paid 1150 rs via paytm now he is telling me you should inform me before paying. Now he is calling me again and again and asking to do scan for 3200 so that he will pay me back total amount. really I never expect from olx such kind of people are doing fraud. Please take a action.

This incident took place on 18/10/2021, in mysore where i wanted to sell my sofa on olx and also posted an advertisment. Soon recieved and a call from a fraud(buyer) and was been cheated with Rs. 19, 989. The fraud number was [protected] named manoj kumar in olx . I would like to request the amount to be refunded and this is a humble request.

This happened on 13th of October. Where he contacted me for the selling of Jupiter, MH14GL8592. He persuaded me to pay him 3000 on the first end. Then he told me he got transferred to Nashik. So he had to sell the scooty at the price of 28, 700. After 6 hours I received a call saying I had to pay the full amount so that they'll be able to send the scooty. Then later they tell me that I had to fill in Rs15550 off of which Rs50 will be charged as transportation charges. And I sent the amount in two transactions and hence wasn't applicable. Then, I had to do one entire transaction of Rs.15550 only to realize that I was duped. Then, he asked me for an additional Rs17550, to remove the ban off of the scooty delivery. I found out who the original owner was.
The two numbers given to me was- [protected] of the seller and, [protected] of delivery guy.

Hi,
I had order a 180 ltr fridge from one of the adds which i saw on olx.
But at the time of delivery the driver was sent with similar looking fridge which was taken as i was not available on delivery. But when we inspected a few mins latter it was found that the completely different fridge was delivered than what was shown to us at times of discussion.
Also this person don't response on olx chat while negotiating. He prefers whatsapp. And Direct call. Their profile name is Super cool center. And located in Jogeshwari. Now that person is not taking calls nor any revert as we had asked him to get the fridge replaced.
This is so dengerous to trust someone on such good platform of olx.
Please help us in this case so that i could get the refund or replacement of product.
