Sir, My name is Santhosh from Dindigul, Tamil nadu. I am victim of this issue. I was cheated by Darun, he is residing in Coimbatore

Let me explain the problem I faced

I saw the olx ads of Dharun’s indica car (TN22AE5035) on[protected] in Coimbatore and talked to him. He saying that car was in very good condition and come to the Coimbatore-Singanallur bus stand.

I went from Dindigul to Coimbatore -Singanallur bus stand on[protected]. Dharun came and showed the car but as he said, the car was not in good condition. I’m also in a confused state because of traveled 4 hours from Dindigul. Bought the car for Rs.63, 500 in cash and Rs500 through Gpay.

[protected] I started the car to leave my house, but it did not start. So I called the local mechanic, he infected the car and the mechanic said the car engine and chassis were in very bad condition.

So I called Darun and he totally agreed to take the car back. He told me to come to Coimbatore on[protected]. I went and handed over the car on the date. He told me that I would deduct Rs.4000 for the reason of surrender and the remaining Rs.60, 000 would be given to you in two days. He promised.

Then he didn't give amount in two days like he said. He gave Rs.30, 000 through Gpay on[protected]. One month later on[protected] he gave Rs.5000 through Gpay. He is deliberately saying some reason for the remaining Rs 25, 000.

Thus I have been under a lot of stress for the last 7 months. In this 7 months he has sold more than 20 cars through Olx. Even now he has advertised 4 cars on Olx. But he was not willing to pay my money back. He didn’t care about my money. He plans to cheat me.

We need to take action on him without deceiving anyone else like me

I registered my account with valid email address. I dont know why olx banned my account. Its so frustrating bcoz i was about to purchase from a seller at last they banned . I was not able to do it

In OLX I found an add for car sale and when I approached the seller he claimed himself an army and he asked me to transfer 3120 as token and he ll deliver the car to my doorstep.

My account got banned for absolutely no reason. Just posted one ad of my bike because I wanted to sell it, and after some 15-20 days i don't know why my account got banned, was in touch with people interested in buying and now it seems I lost all the contacts. Really disappointed!

For no reason my both the account are suspended, is there anything wrong with the system or there is a bug .

There should be proper verification of the members. A person called Amit Kapse took money Rs. 2000 by using PAYTM QR code. And now he is not attending my calls. People please stay away from the following contact numbers:

I didn't make any fraud, so why you banned my account, I'm unable to access my account since 6months, OLX team replied and said we Apology for this inconvenience and we will resolve your problem, it's been 6months you didn't done any thing

But full day has passed away till now I cannot find my ad anywhere on olx even after applying proper filters, location.
I have sufficient proof screen recording.
I want my money back or else I want to see my ad on top on olx since I have paid for it to be in the top featured section.

Hi, I'm very disappointed by the OLX team since they banned my account for no reason. I was getting enquiries for the ad that I posted a day earlier. I would like OLX to take action asap.

3 of my olx accounts got suspended without any reason all of a sudden. I was in the middle of closing a deal (making an offer on olx) and suddenly it got suspended! 2 of emails and 3 of my phone numbers are not working on olx. Get it resolved ASAP. Please, I request.

I have posted a phone that I want to sell and while I was texting someone who was interested in buying account got logged out. When I tried to log back in it said suspended !!! I mean this is not acceptable! Request you to help me out with this.

Olx people are so unprofessional they have suspended my account without any reason, why they advertise so heavily if they do not want people to sell/buy on their site,

Olx suspended my account for no reason or if I did something wrong, let me know my mistake so that the mistake doesn't get repeated. And also, there is something called 'last warning'.
Finally, I hereby request for unblocking my account.

Its been a month after launching complaint on consumer complaints still no action taken or any further updates which is the reason I have to relaunch another complaint. Its useless I feel the consumer complaint and also the support provided by OLX. If they have misplaced my documents and plate then at least they should acknowledge the mistake and launch a complaint that they have misplaced it. This is very unfortunate of me writing this email that its been the worst service I have ever received by any company. I was very much satisfied while selling my car back in march 2020 when I was told that I would receive my RC book and Chassis plate within one month of selling my car. However it's been a year now and every time I ask the concerned person who helped me in selling the car give reasons and delays the process. It seems OLX are not all concerned for their customers value for money and trusts and are least bothered of what is happening with the vehicle handed over to them.

Please take this request as a matter of concern and look into this and hand over the documents as soon as possible as the level of patience has reached its peak.
