On-Dot Couriers & Cargo Complaints & Reviews

Ibooked a courier weighing 3kg on 08-11-07 comprising of sweets/dry fruit & clothes to be delivered to my old father &ailing sister on the occasion of diwali.iwas assured that the pkt. would be delivered on diwali day i.e.09-11-07.However the pkt was not delivered till 14-11-07 despite regular reminder to thier booking office at East Patel Nagar New Delhi.On 14-11-07 I shouted at the office of the agency,& then only the girl at ahe counter called up thier Agra office & informed that the pkt had reached Agra on 09-11-07 itself but was not delivered.The same was subsequently delivered on 14-11-07 afternoon but dry fruit approx !.25 Kg. was missing.Subsequent complaints at Delhi/Agra &Web site of the agency have not produced any response.The staff infact acccused us of making a false claim AS per them they delivered full contents.Very bad service.

This is with regards to one of the couriers being deliverd to Pune from Amtitsar. The courier was a cardboard box , size 11 inches by 7 inches by 6 inches (approx) and weighing about 1 Kg.
The courier man who deliverd the box took away Rs. 195.00 as ocroi charges for that courier and handed over their own company's personla ocroi slip.
The box contained some toys and clothes .
This is total harrasmant by the courier company.

After attestations in Kerala, my marriage certificate was sent via On-dot Courier on the 8th of October, 2007 to my Mumbai address. I work in Dubai and reached Mumbai in the 10th of Oct but no courier has reached me till today the 11th of Oct, 2007.

On calling at 400 92 999, the lady was not only indifferent and rude but also seemed uninterested in assisting. She took my docket number :[protected] and residence telephone number. And after that they have not answered the telephone nor called back.

I need to get the marriag certificate stamped by the UAE consulate and this wouldnt be possible now due to the Ramadan holidays and weekends. I not only lost the money spent on the courier but also my holidays and flight ticket money due to the rubbish service by On-dot courier.

Services like these should be punished by cancellation of their licence.

If anyone knows how to take this complain higher, please do. Consumers should get the value for the price they pay for any service.

My parents sent a courier on 22.08.07 containing rakhi and still it has not reached.
Supern service I think they will deliver it on next rakhi.
I spoke to some number and the guy assured me that it will be delivered by today.but no delivery and adding salt to injury phones are switched off now..
