Dear anyone who is reading this post..
(Not sure how many read and decide to take action, but as its our duty to report these, i am penning it here)
I have a onida top load, fully automatic washing machine, which had developed a problem, with it not beng able to
Wash clothes properly and give some errors e-1/e-2. I reside in hyderabad.
I called up onida customer care[protected], and registered a complaint nearly two months ago about this,
Complaint number being [protected].
They say the technician will call you in 24-48 hours. But i did not recieve any call for atleast 1 week or 10 days.
And when i got the call, it was from some ashok, who enquired about the whole problem, asked the address and said
He will come to our house tommorow, though there were many tommorow's that went by and this person did not turn up
Even after repeatedly following up.
This conplaint was then transferred to someone other person, who repated the same exercise, and did not turn up.
The irony is they said they will definetely come, but we know they are lying and will not show up, but still we try!
Since the error was not coming too often, i stopped following up after a while, then once or twicw i recieved calls
From the customer care whether the problem was resolved or not, to which i clearly informed it was not, but i don't
Think they took any action in this regard.
Now recently, the washing machine stopped functioning entirely, when i had to raise another complaint : 1808j[protected]
On 8/29/18.
The same thing repeated this time also, with the call coming after 3-4 days of registering the complaint.
Some guy ashok ([protected]) (Not sure if it was the same guy who answered before) called on sat 1st sep, asked the
Details and said he will come on 2nd sep (Sun). When he did not, i gave him a call, and he said sir i did not say,
I will come, but some one else will call you and come. He gave me some other number of anjanyelu ([protected]) who was
Not answering any calls.
One thing that i want to highlight was, this ashok was speaking to someone and saying in telugu, hey charge
Rs500, rob the customer as much you can an make money. (Possibly, he was taking to his fellow companion and talking
About some other customer).
Onida, i hope you are reading this...
Just to let you know, i had told your customer care professional, on 3rd sep (Mon) that i will go to consumer court,
If you don't escalate this and get me a technician, but nothing was done.
I anyways have got my washing machine repaired by local technician, so no need to do anything for me, but if you want to
Retain your customer base, you brand image, high time you do something about your system.
Your customer care professional, does not know how much amount the technician will charge, if he visits home? (Ridiculous)
The technician's are money looting people and not professionals (As far as i get it, based on my experience)
With no thanks and utmost frustration and anger towards onida,
Requesting the consumer court to take action here.
