I bought an onida 11/2 ton split ac on 26/6/2016 from the shop 'aircool, sector 10, noida.
1. First complaint made on 25th may 2017 to the call center. Comp no 1703e[protected]. The complaint was attended by an engineer on 29th may & he said that the gas had to be recharged. After 6 weeks of no response, calls were made to mr. Surender kumar, the service station incharge, gaziabad. He sent someone called farman to attend the fault. According to farman, the part that controls the panel of the ac needed to be changed. He took the old part and on repeated calls to mr. Surender, we were told that the part had not arrived.
On 25th jun 2017 another complaint was lodged as the earlier one was not resolved. Complaint no 1706e[protected]. Farman came once again with the part to be changed and on checking the ac said that actually it was also the thermostat that had to be changed and he would be back in a day with the part.
It has been over 4 months since the first complaint.
I even got in touch with mr. Mohammad adil, onida ac regional incharge & now even he doesn't take my calls..
In between we made some more complaints. No: 1703h[protected] / 1706h[protected].
Now i am told that the complaints were cancelled. How is that possible when my ac is lying dismantled since may 2017
I am appealing to all the concerned departments to get this resolved.
It has been a horrible experience with onida and incase even this complaint is not resolved, i will go to consumer court.
Incase you cannot get the ac running again, give me a refund or replace the ac.
