I have travelled from HYD-CHennai on 10th October, 2013 in Orange sleeper coach. I have booked 2 tickets through orange website and the transaction (Rs.2700.00 INR) got struck at the payment portal page but got deducted from my bank account, I called upon orabge helpdesk immediately and they told me that the amount would be credited back to my account within 7 days and told me to make the transaction again after 25 mins (transaction lifetime) to book tickets which I did. It's been a more than 3 weeks now and the amount is not yet credited to my account. When I contact the custcare, they say they have informed their manager and it would take another 7 days and they promptly used the same statement for 3 weeks and now they say their refund gateway software is down and it will take another 7-10 working days to look into the issue. They have not responded to any emails that I have sent. I request the orange authorities to look into this issue and refund my amount immediately. You can reach me on +91 [protected] regards, Sunil

    I tried book a ticket from Secunderabad(suchitra) to bangalore on 30th august, 2013.Transaction failed but money(Rs.950) got deducted from debit card.I didn't even get the transaction failure mail.I immediately rang up to customer care [protected] and informed the same.They told me that the money will be refunded within 7 working days.i waited for 14 days but didn't get any sign of my money being returned.i mailed to [protected]@orangetravels.in mentioning very clearly that my transaction failed and i didnt get any transaction mail. i got a reply from the same id asking me to send a copy of the transaction failure email which i didnt get.I sent many mails requesting them to refund my money and rang up many times to [protected]. Nobody replied to my mails.On calls, they kept on saying that the issue is being escalated to the manager and i would be getting a call from him regarding the issue, I waited for a week but didnt get any call from anyone.. I request the concerned authorities of orange travels to refund my money at the earliest. (My contact number [protected]).

    I approached orange travels (suchithra Head Office) directly and lodged a complaint regarding my refund.They readily accepted their fault and refunded the amount within 5 working days.thanks to Orange Travels.
    Orange Tours and Travels customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    My complaint got resolved long back.. no more issues on this..This complaint got closed ..

      I had a ticket from Bangalore to Hyderabad dated 27th May of Orange Travels booked in Red Bus.

      Here I am explaining my boarding experience: I had Boarding Point address printed on my ticket as..
      Location: Kammannahalli
      Landmark: Opp GEO Travels, Infront of Jalavayu Vihar
      Address: Kamanahalli
      Departure time 09:35 PM

      I arrived at above boarding point 2 hours before as I had check-in luggage and I had really important office work at Hyderabad. While waiting, casually I called up Orange Travels Bangalore Office (given as Travel related queries[protected] to reconfirm the boarding point.

      Shock-1: Over calling Orange Travel told, Pick up point is not ‘Opp GEO Travels, Infront of Jalavayu Vihar’; It is ‘Pizza Hut, Outer Ring Road, before starting under-pass’.

      When I told, in my ticket it is written as Jalavayu Vihar, Orange Travel told, in Orange Travels site, it is mentioned as Pizza Hut, not Jalavayu Vihar and it is Red Bus fault. As I brought ticket from Red Bus I should contact them. Also the bus will not go to Jalavayu Vihar. If I have to board, I have to go to Pizza Hut.

      Well, I started towards Pizza Hut with my entire luggage (as I left the cab I booked from my home). When I tried contacting Red Bus, it is pathetic Customer Care service (worse that Indian Railway). Ultimately Red Bus denied, saying it is not their responsibility regarding Boarding Point.

      Well, reached to Pizza Hut beside on 4-lane Outer Ring Road. There was no shop, no office, on dark and dust I was waiting along. Then I asked Orange Travels to provide me the Conductor Phone number of my scheduled bus. He gave the no [protected] as conductor phone. After that I was calling in that number after each 5-7 minutes. Every time somebody says … ‘we are in Marathally’, ‘bus is little lateby 10 min’, ‘we are in traffic, will come there by 5-10 min’, ‘I will give you call reaching there, you wait’ etc… So I though I am having contact with bus conductor.

      Shock-2: It was the 9:40 PM, I got a call from another number [protected], saying “I am bus conductor of your bus; we waited in front of Pizza Hut for 10 minutes and then we left … we are now in <near some cinema, he mentioned>”.

      I became almost mad and about to cry. Then requested like a beggar “Please stand where you are, I am coming there” Then the bus conductor told we are at the finish point o[censored]nder-laying bridge. Come quickly”.

      I was waiting at the starting point of the under laying bridge with all my luggage’s. I begged to an auto on very over price to take me till the bridge end, where the bus is standing. Okay, I saw bus and boarded.

      Shock-3: Then I asked the bus conductor, why did not he called me when the bus was at Pizza hut and waiting for an hour. Sometimes he told my phone was not reachable. Sometimes he told I did not pick-up call. The fact is I got only one call from [protected] and I picked. When I asked what is the number [protected] that Orange Travel has given me as bus conductor number. He replied, he is mad; it is not bus conductor number.

      Shock-4: The number [protected] got switched off. On argument bus conductor threatened me that he will forcefully get me down from the bus. After some time when the number [protected] again got switched on and I called, the person started telling “I was an mistake …blab la bla…”

      Note: I was in contact with Orange Travels and Red Bus with my two mobile numbers [protected] and [protected]. [protected] was registered with ticket; but mostly used [protected] to talk.


      My Complaints

      1. Why Pick-up point of Kamanahalli is different in my Ticket (Red Bus) and Orange Travels site and why I should be harassed for that?
      2. How come Red bus can deny responsibility of wrong Pickup point in Ticket, where as I paid money to Red Bus?
      3. Why Orange Travels has given a wrong number ([protected])
      as bus conduct phone and played fraud with me for an hour, acting like a bus conductor.
      4. Why Orange Travels bus left the Pick-up point without contacting me, where as I was in contact with Orange Travels from last 2 hours? Also telling all the lies like, my phone was not reachable, I did not pick-up call etc. It can be proved that I got only one call from actual bus conductor, saying the bus left.

        The location to pickup the passengers at Koyambedu busstand is not proper,the location given on the ticket is one and the vehicles are parked at a different location, we are sure to miss the bus without the guidance of the local agents there. The agents deliberately don't guide us properly and make us book another ticket if we miss the bus. I was a recent prey to one such incident where in I was made to run from one place to another and meanwhile the bus left the location, when called up the agent on the given number of the ticket they refused to stop and made me re-book through another bus. I had to go through a loss of Rs.900/-. I have made numerous complaints by mail and by phone calls, they hardly respond or refund the amount for their negligence and improper handling, The licensing has to be cancelled and RTA has to take stringent action against such travel agency.

          I am S.Anand I have booked / Travelled by your bus (Orange Tours & Travels) from Hyderabad to Chennai Sleeper service on 21st May 2012 PNR No: 36803, Ser No. OTT7, Seat No. U6.

          Would like to give my feedback: My experience is totally bad entire the journey, I have not seen any time in my Life.

          Bus started at LB Nager at around 08:45 PM 21 st May.

          AC stopped working from 12:30 AM.

          Bus completely stopped due to battery problem at around 02:00 AM.

          Bus driver trying to fix the problem and he is calling all the management people but No proper response and solution to the problem.

          Passengers pushed the bus and bus started with out AC at around 04: 30 Am till the time all are with family and children's come out from the bus and sat in the road some passengers cached some other buses.

          We have reached chennai at around 01:30 PM next day 22nd May Instead of morning 07:30 Am With out AC .

          In AC sleeper bus without AC Just Imagine the situation, there is No windows to come AIR.

          I have lost my one day leave in office.

          Ticket cost I have paid Rs.1550 , I have not got satisfied the service and want to get back the money.
