I am having policy of the oriental insurance company (Toll free no. Is[protected]. My policy no. Is 172299/48/2018/929. We are policy premium from last 10 years. My mother shri ganjawala nilaben was diagnosed with accute appendicities and she was operated on 29th november, 2017 in baps pramukh swami hospital, adajan, surat. We had claimed for rs. 58110/- against which we were paid only rs. 41721/-. All our bills are genuine. I have also submitted doctor’s certificate for undue deduction made in claim settlement voucher.         I have made a insurance of my car from 'oriental insurance company'purnea, bihar and approx. Two years ago my car damaged accidentally. But they haven't given any claims for this.

        Not resolves oriental insurance staff (Raj kumar sir) he has been more disturbing me.

          Oriental insurance is worst insurance provider and their claim procedure don't have any tat for customers... We all bought insurance to make ourself free from any unfortunate things but if we talk about insurance company like oriental insurance they never support in these things.

          I took car insurance from oriental on a thought that this is semi govt orgnisation and i will be in safe hands but they are thief.

          Unfortunately i met with an accident on 17 dec 2017 and sent my car in workshop which is in cashless list of insurance company but after 20days my car is still at workshop just because insurance company didn't release delivery order to workshop.

          I am chasing many guys like mr. Yk rao, mandakini balodhi, anita kalra, v nagpal, sanna mohalla via mail but all are sitting ideal and don't have courtsy to reply on mail.

          Guys its a learning for me and a suggestion for you that never buy anything atleast insurance from govt/ semi govt companies.

          Finally i decided that i will pay from my pocket and will get my car tomorrow.

          Third class service from oriental insurance.

            After much to and fro, i had filed a complaint with ombudsman last may but i still haven't received any response from them. Kindly help

            Reference: happy family floater – 2015 policy no.: 215300/48/2017/913 on[protected].

            Dear sir,

            With reference to the above, please find enclosed the reimbursement claim, along with the duly filled form and all relevant documents.

            The claim was initially lodged with your appointed tpa - emeditek tpa services limited through max healthcare gurgaon and all the relevant documents were submitted to them. Subsequently, the tpa issued a pre approval on 10th february 2017 for rs. 50000/-, which was subsequently increased to rs. 70000/- on the same day and a fresh pre approval was issued by emeditek.

            The undersigned – insured / patient archna singh, after receiving the pre approval got admitted to max healthcare gurgaon on the 11th of february 2017 and got her surgeries performed and got treated for her ailments.

            On 12th february 2017, the undersigned was discharged from the hospital and the relevant discharge summary and the final bills were sent to emeditek by max healthcare for the final approval and for releasing the payment advice. Emeditek after several hours sent a query asking for past medical policies, which after great difficulty were located and sent to emeditek. Thereafter, the tpa took several hours yet again and sent a email rejecting the claim and directing the undersigned to make a reimbursement claim on the oriental insurance company limited directly. The flimsy grounds mentioned by the tpa was that, the surgeries need a minimum of three years of standing, before they can be considered for claims.

            With no alternative left, the undersigned had to pay the entire bill of the hospital, amounting to rs, 1, 61, 216.00 using her credit card and got discharged to go home.

            Now, there are very pertinent questions which arise,
            (1) why did the tpa issue the pre approval without inspecting the previous policies;
            (2) the tpa did not consider the clarifications issued by the renowned doctors of max healthcare, which clearly shows that the surgeries performed were well within the purview of consideration by the tpa;
            (3) had the surgeries not been within the purview of consideration, the insured / patient would have waited for 4 months, got the third renewal done and then got the surgeries performed. The ailment was not life-threatening and the surgeries could well have been postponed by 4 months and could have been performed later, and the situation was not that one of any emergency.

            Why was a pre-approval sanctioned and issued by the insurance company appointed tpa, without verification of all documents? Once a pre-approval is issued, it means that the insurance company is liable to pay the expenses.in case the policy conditions did not approve payment of the claim, the pre-approval should never have been issued and the claim rejected before the insured / patient archna singh got admitted and got the surgeries done. The tpa or the insurance company cannot issue a pre-approval and ask the insured / patient to get admitted and get the surgeries done, and when the final bills are submitted or the payments, reject the claim on the grounds that the policy conditions do not approve of this. It is the duty and responsibility of the tpa and the insurance company to verify all the documents upfront, when the claim forms are submitted and only after being convinced issue the pre-approval. The tpa and the insurance company in this case has done fraud with the insured / patient and cheated her.

            The discharge summary and final bills were submitted on[protected] @9.07am to emeditek, and till 9.32pm on[protected], full 12 hours after the final bills were submitted to emeditek, there was no concrete reply from them. The behaviour and actions of the tpa and the insurance company were totally inhuman and the biggest mistake made by them was issuing the pre-approval without verifying all the documents. By keeping a patient in the hospital for 12 hours within 24 hours of her surgery, the tpa and the insurance company has done a dastardly act and this caused much agony, harassment, mental torture and indisposed the insured / patient post surgery, when she should have been resting at home and on the path of recovery.

            In light of the absurd, fraudulent and act of cheating done by the insurance company appointed tpa and as per the advice of the tpa, we are forced to file this claim for reimbursement. All documents enclosed are photocopies, however the originals can be produced on demand, for inspection.

            You are kindly requested to consider the claim, and have the entire amount reimbursed on top priority.

                My claim was pending last 60 days with you.

                As per oriental insurance reply the dub decision will be taken by tpa not insurance company but as per your statement was difference.

                Kindly resolve the issue asap and clear my claim.

                My claim amount was rs. 4037/- only but every the premium i was paid rs 15, 000/-.

                Kindly consider customer view also for customer services.

                  My self kirti m shah from mumbai received your denial letter of dated 13.11.2017.in above policy, given reason is not acceptable against claim.
                  1) as given hyper tension reason, was only the history which was occurred 20years before for which no further treatment is going on. Also, there is no link between hyper tension with current diagnose diseases i. E. Angiography & angioplasty as per doctor’s clarification.
                  2) if you have any evidence regarding current diagnoses is link with hyper tension, please provide the same. Although as per doctor’s concern there is no link between it.
                  3) if you require any clarification regarding this claim from the doctor please raise the clarification letter address to doctor with details. This we can provide you for your query.
                  4) as per doctor’s clarification with us there is nothing to do with current diseases. He is agreed to give clarification if you ask for the same.

                  Sir, , i have called many tyms to cm care, but didnt get satisfactory responses..i submitted all the original doxs to delhi nehru place office.. And doxs are dispatched on 21 st dec and delivery date is 23 rd dec.. But i thnik stff is very busy, they have no tym for his customers.I have insurance with oriental insurance..

                    absolutely pathetic customer service and unprofessional behaviour

                    This is for the second time my fate forced me to get claim from oriental insurance company.
                    First time, i did not know about how # oic actually is, so i had taken my first motorcycle with oic insurance.
                    It was a 1lac rupees motorcycle (In 2009).
                    It met an accident in second year and the estimate of repairs was 34000 (34k), cutting the story short, the surveyor approved just 3400 (3.4k) only.

                    निवेदन है कि मेरी रेनो क्वीटड कार क्रमांक एम.पी. 28 सी.ए. 5548 जिसका Oriental Insurance Company Branch Jabalpur में पंजीकृत है। उक्त कार का दुर्घटना में टूट फूट होने के कारण से ‘’रोड साइड अस्सिटेंट’’ के माध्य म से Service Center उन्नति व्हीकल प्राईवेट लिमिटेड नागपुर में माह अगस्त 2017 को ‍रिपेयर हेतु भेजा गया था जिसें (0 Depth Insurance) के अंतर्गत बनाया गया था। किन्तु उन्नति व्हीकल प्राईवेट लिमिटेड नागपुर का Oriental Insurance Company से अनुबंध न होने से मरम्म’त में आया सम्पूर्ण खर्च का भुगतान भी मेरे द्वारा तत्काल प्रभाव में नगद रूप से जमा कर दिया गया था। तथा Insurance Claim की सभी Formality भी पूर्ण कर दी गई थी । किन्तु आज दिनांक तक मेरे वाहन का Insurance Claim Settlement नही हुआ है। तथा रोजाना Insurance कस्टमर केयर एवं संबंधित व्यक्ति को फोन किये जाने पर किसी भी प्रकार की जानकारी प्रदाय नही की जा रही है। हर बार कुछ न कुछ बहाना बनाकर फोन कट कर दिया जाता है और कई बार तो फोन भी रिसिव नही किये जा रहें है। जिस कारण से मैं बहुत मानसिक रूप से तथा आर्थिक रूप से प्रताडि़त हो चुका हॅू।
                    अत: मेरा आपसे अनुरोध है कि संबंधित Insurance कंपनी के विरूद्ध मेरी शिकायत को दर्ज करते हुए मेरे वाहन का Insurance Claim Settlement कर भुगतान राशि मय ब्याज के दिलवाने का कष्ट करें।

                      Hello oriental insurance team,

                      I bought four motor policies, one fire and theft policy for my office through your company 3 months ago, three for my family motorcycles and one for my car.

                      My car met with an accident on thursday, the driver died and 4 people are in icu. (I wasn't in the car).

                      I reached the spot, went to the police station to do all the paperwork.

                      While doing so, i called the agent and asked the procedure to file the claim with the insurance company.

                      The agent told me to come back to burhanpur and arrange a meet to proceed further.

                      I came back to my hometown and called mr. Jajoo the agent on saturday evening to meet, he said let's meet on sunday.
                      He didn't show up at the venue on the decided time.

                      I called him, he said "he is busy selling policies, his job is to only sell policies and not to solve this problem, he went ahead and mentioned that if any of his customers called him to purchase 10 policies, he would go there and not come to meet me because his job is to sell policies, and not to address this problem" when i insisted to meet, he gave me a slot at 1 pm, i called him at 1.15 pm and he said he is still busy, and that he should come later to my area and call me, to which i agreed.

                      Now, he again gave me a false promise and didn't show up the whole sunday.

                      I called him at 7 pm on sunday evening to rearrange the meet for monday and he said he will come b/w 9.30 am to 10.30 am at my office, he reached here 11.15 am.

                      When he reached office, he told me that he is only a salesperson, and that can't help it, to which i said can you at least tell me the procedure to raise a claim and he was least bothered to help, i got anxious and asked him to leave as i will raise an online complaint against him to the company and arrange help from the company directly.

                      I am really unhappy with the service provided by mr. Jajoo, i paid him money to ensure that he will stand by me through tough situations like this.

                      While he was selling me these policies, he stated that he would stand by me at tough time if anything happens and that his job is ensure his clients get what they deserve at tough situations, now he is least bothered to even receive my phone calls.

                        This is in reference to my car insurance claim (Policy no -131300/31/2017/5990) documentation submitted to your office by surveryur on 07th sept 2017 at your ghatkopar (Mumbai) branch. I have been having regular communication, conversation or followups on this with staffs from your organisation since 7th september, 2017 however till now i have not received any eta on when i will get my insurance claim. Also there is no response (Not even an acknowledgement) to an escalation emails i sent on 22nd october and 28th october, 2017 to thomas sir based on escalation path mentioned on your website.

                        On 11th october, 2017 i received communication to submit additional documents such as rc book extract and driving licence extract. To avoid further delays, i sent the soft copies on 13th october, 2017 through email and and submitted hard copies through my brother at your andheri (E) office on 16th october, 2017.
                        It was understood from your senior officals that on account of diwali holidays respective employees are not available and would be back in the last week of october 2017. I was also communicated that based on the pending volume of work my case would be prioritized and it might take more than a month. However there was no eta or commitment given.

                          Hi.. This is a notice bring you that i am claimed my car insurance towards vehicle repair!! By that time i paid the entire amount.. As one of your executive by name thammaiah said that we need to settle the complete amount to get the car from service center.. When i asked for the amount he said it will get credit to my account directly!! That to with in 7 working day's! So i have shared my account details.. Along with all the other documents!! Now it's comes to more than one month still i haven't received any money from your end,, even there is no proper response from your executive.. I can't wait for many day's will not tolerate this kind of # service!! If it's continues for sure will walk in to consumer court i know wt i suppose to do how i suppose to take my money... This is highly unacceptable!! I am not sure that you people are there for customers service... All of your executive's were all ways give # answer... This is time for all of you to look into the thing's were you guy's went wrong... Let's see wt you guy's will do...

                          Will wait for other one day if it's continued i will do wt i said above..!!!

                            I, narender kumar from sri vijaynagar didn't get the money for claim in my account. My vehicle no. Is rj13sx1188 tvsjupiter and policy no. Is 243194/31/2018/595 and prev policy no. Is 243194/31/2017/673. Please deposit the claim amount as soon as possible. The oriental insurance comapny's manager of sri vijaynagar is giving the excuses from the last month that i would get my caim amount bt i don't get money for claim till now...

                              Dear sir/madam,

                              With reference to the captioned subject, i have valid car insurance for my vehicle and have submitted all documents that were asked by the insurance company authorized surveyor for settling the assured amount. I would like to bring to your notice that the amount to which the insurance company has finalized/settled the payment is very low where my car had been damaged in the accident and the cost of its repair was more than 1lakh with engine repair, at the time of visit of the authorized surveyor he conveyed me that the engine repairs are not considered within the policy terms & conditions and forwarded the claim with actual cost of rs.75, 000/- (Approx) to company with original bills without engine repair & parts cost. But the company has settled the claim amount rs.44, 800/- only, after several requests made by me as attached letters.

                              Now once again i requesting you that please settle the claim as per actual cost with original bills as soon as possible.

                              Here i also submit my request for furnish scan copies of all the claim settlement documents at the earliest on my mail id: naru. [protected]@gmail.com
