Hi ,

This is to inform you that I have taken Ortel broadband connection 15 days back.I have paid the full money.

Then no body from Ortel come to my residence for set up the modem.Till now I am unable to use internet 15 days after taking connection.

Tried 1000 times the customer care number but not able to talk with customer care person once.

Do not know what to do.

Dear Sir/Mam,

I'm a new suffering customer of ORTEL Broadband connection. My customer id is 541826 and the address is RT Outsourcing Services Ltd., Rasul Gah, GGP Colony, Near SBI ATM, Plot No-935/1918.

I've taken net connection on 2nd of June. At that time Mr. Amit told me that within two days connection will be established and running. But it takes three days to complete the processing. However after the installation not a single day we use your net connection facility whole day without any problem. After every half an hour net connection were disconnected and we have to talk with customer care. This became our daily routin in every half an hour.

We also compromise with it. But on 16th june the connection were totally stopped. When we contact with customer care they told me that our limit is over (5GB). Can you imagine that 5GB had been used within 10 to 12 days. Not only that he also told me that if we wish to use more MB, then we have to purchase extra MB ofcourse with advance payment.

Mr. Amit didn't told me about this rules. I asked amit regarding this he didn't answer my phone. All of your sales executives are of same character ?

My question is that if we use 5gb than don't stop the facility. Add this amount with bill. And we obviously paid this amount when you will raise bills against the usages.

I want my full deposit money (Rs. 1750) back and want to disconnect the connection.

I'm a new suffering customer of ORTEL Broadband connection. My customer id is 542848 and the
address is qtr:no u/8-d 104 area, svn colony, marripalem visakhapatnam.i took the connection on 10th june and on june 1st the bill shows a amount of 901.20rs please check it properly and change the bill
the bill showed 675rs as download charges but my downloads as on JUNE 30TH was 898.76mb
just 2MB more than the download limit.please check and give correct response

i am also very dissatisfied towards the service of ortel, well i have appilied for an ortel boardband connection almost 10 days back, till now thr is no news regarding my connection.

a girl called deepti called me for taking ortel connection, and collected the fee on the day i aggered for her offer, she had promised me to get the connection within 3 days

now thw worst thing is none of the ortel officers is picking phone and if some one picks up they will blame others for lack of service. and the girl deepti had never attended my call frm last thursday.

can anybody help me in finxing up this problem

I am a new and definitely a suffering customer of ORTEL communication.I can definitely say that whit in 20 days o[censored]se i got problems everyday like slowconnection, disconnect in free hours etc my coustomer id is 00588951 and address is brahmanagar 1st lane berhampur (ganjam), orissa . i have complained several times but no result come my plan is ortel soho which is 1mbps and 3 user plan but the speed is too slow that a single user cant work so i m highly disagree with the service and want to go for another isp if i not got my speed properly.

i want to say only 1 thing that use only BSNL in orissa is best . u get only 15 to 35 kbps download speed from ortel with lots of problems.why u donot use the 24 hrs downloading facility with the constant speed of downloading that (25 to 35 kbps).right so guys cut your ORTEL connection and bring home the 750 unlimited BSNL plan to home..

hello dear friends, now take a look on BSNL BROADBANDS NEW HOME AND BUSINESS PLANS upto 24mbps, 16mbps, 8mbps and so on at a very few cost with 150gb, 110gb and 50 gb of free respectively.so disconnect your ortel connection as soon as possible and go for bsnl it is best for ORISSA .you can also got lot of free calls you may check in internet.
I want to use wireless internet connection at home for my official purpose using the laptop provided by the company. i want to know which network provider is the best . /i want also broadband connection, how can i get it .I am from orissa

realy, since last month we are facing the same trouble with ortel broadband in our area i.e. GOSALAGADA, NUABAZAR, CUTTACK
The broadband is giving full connectivity for hardly 15 - 30 minutes and disappearing for hours and just blinking 1, 2 & 3 lights like DUSSERA DECORATION.
cOMPLAINS LODGED MANY TIMES - SERVICE PEOPLES VISITED many times but in vein.
May the ortel broadband authority take pain to extend the real service that they do advertise

Ortel has discontinued BSNL tollfree number and compel consumers to call on
paid phones which also takes long time to get delayed responce from IVR system. Ortel should consider not to penalise customers by introducing BSNL tollfree number.

Ortel BBSR! Well i have come from Mumbai to BBSR and before i landed here, i heard in BBSR, Ortel is the best ISP. With all my expectations, i saw its the worst ISP i have ever come across. With a pathetic cheap, Customer care setup who probably cant even speak proper English or Hindi, its just horrible. Also the engineers are from cheap private college with practicall no technical expertise. They take more than a week to solve simple issues. So in one word. Ortel is TRASH.

Dear Sir,

The day before Yesterday at 2.00 PM a complain was ludged against no internet connection. Till 7.00 PM there was no rectification done from maintenance side.
I personally requested to a sift Engg. at Local office presented at Bhartia Tower Cuttack, and the issue was resolved for only 3 hrs.
 Again Today Morning at 7.30 AM same issue was happened and a complain was lodged at 8.00 AM through mobile auto voice reply.
In every 1 hr the normal ans ware put for the rectification from costumer care till 7.00PM. I wanted the no. to talk to higher authority, but the Manager of Bhubaneswar Circle, Mr. D. C. Rout was not answered me. I called to Mr Priyabrat Patra, the Retaintion Head of cuttack zone, but he did not pick the call also.
 This type of service is very painful and the occurrence is repeatedly happening and so as it hampers my daily business also.
3 days have been gone till now I am not getting my service.

I have taken Ortel Broadband connection while I was in Kolkata, there were major problems in terms of connectivity, often it used to disconnect, and the Customer Service in Eden Shop (near DLF) Rajarhat is worst, after lot of calls also they do not respond or respond very slowly. There was no accountability at all. When I was transferred from Kolkata, I paid the whole money and the modem, set-top box for settlement, and I was told that they will deposit the initial money to my account within a month. Its more than 5 months now, still they have done nothing, I called them a few times every time they took a time of 15 days but never came back.
I really had a bad experience. That is why I took time to write this so that others are aware of this.

Hi...I won't write sir or Mam because you people don't deserve respect, you are bunch o[censored]sless people who are working in ORTEL bhubaneshwar..which is worst than non working government office. My Consumer number is 1012209 and my name is Anupam. Every time I raised a complain I never used to get any response from your end until I used to go to Ortel Office in Chandrashekarpur behind RMRC and shout on the useless, worthless, lazy people.Now days they are used to recognize me with my face that this guy has come and now he is going to blast us and our boss. Head of Ortel Bhubaneshwar... Mr. Mohapatra nick name PRIYO ([protected]) tops the list o[censored]sless people and he is the king and knows how to escape from customers and how to fool them with false promise... Also these people from Ortel placed in the plan that I am going to get 768 kbps of speed but till now for 6 months my seped is not going beyond 400. After complaining to MOHOPATRA ... he is giving some reasons that they are transferring 768kbps but by the time it reaches you it becomes less then 400kbps...These people while taking the connections haven't informed me about this and also there is no such clause in document or plan what they have provided. This I used to check daily with Speed Test Analysis software.This is one scenario if I start writing the list will be endless. Also I am ashamed of myself calling you people and asking for solutions from you guys.. I hope people reading this should get a clear picture of what happens inside Ortel Communications Bhubaneshwar... Thanks ...ANUPAM

One of the worst service ever i see for ortel communication, I have taken the broadband connection also earlier had digital connection but for a single day i could not use the broadband whereas the payment done with full amount. Even they are not disconnect us.Nobody has time to give oil for service.Only way to file a consumer complaint.
i have complained in ortel on 22 august.it is 26 august today but my modem is still ofline. if they take money on time always why are not they providiing facilities? i now just hate ortel

I hv taken ortel broadband connection frm 01 Sep 14 onward in reconnection my old customer ID.I hv paid Rs.225/- in advance for one months on 02 Sep 14.But when i went to ortel office in Visakhapatnam office for my Oct 14 payment, they told me that i hv Rs.600/- amount is pending for billing...This is my big mistake to reconnection the service like ortel.I think it is the worst service provider in Vizag and the staff in their office are the most worst staff also...they calling customer in their office again and again..but not shorted out their problems.I m calling them many time but they told that this amount issue will be finish shortly but no use..iN A DAY I HV TO CALL 05-06 TIME IN THEIR OFFICE...Pls it is my request to high authority look out below and see wht happening their, otherwise one day your service will be shut down...

This is to inform you that I have registered a complaint regarding my internet connection on 22nd of feb 2016 and so far no action has been taken to sort out the problem. For the last 7 days i have been calling the customer care everyday. The customer care behaviour is very rude and they are very ignorant and the situation handling is even worse.

Awesome customer care executives. Can barely speak hindi. English toh door ki baat hai.
Highly qualified people and hence they don't know simple technical terms. Lodge a complaint and they response is very good. After 2 to 3 months they will sort it out. Superb! Modem stays online for about 30 mins out of 24 hours in a day. Rest of the time the lights are simply blinking. Awesome speed too, 12 to 35 kbps speed from a 1mbps connection package (Mega 5gb). The technicians they have are 10th fail and have zero knowledge on solving simple connection issue. At the end i would say if you want to get a good isp go for wefe or bsnl (Even though they aren't great but they provide good uptime and faster speeds. One word to say "ortel is trash"... Ooops, that was three words.

They okayed it get the company informed about this. you can see the graph o[censored]sed. later after discontinuing the ortel I switched over to another broad band company which worked nice till date.

Ortel is the only worst in the area of Visakhapatnam.

1st. I would rate their service '5stars' the worst service provider in the country.
I was a customer of Skyview since its introduction (now ortel communication.) but discontinued due to its unparalleled service and get a new connection from Tatasky and I'm happy with my choice since 2006. But I made another mistake by taking an internet connection from this stupid org. in 2009 and discontinued its world class service in 2012 but their cunning customer care and marketing executive trapped me by repeatedly calling to get a connection with a false pretense to offer good service 'cos I was unaware of their unmatched service to the customer due to a loong gap.

So I became a victim and got a connection. The moment they're assured that I'm agreed to take a new connection, their marketing agent started calling me immediately and took the money and told me to get me connected to the net within 24 hours but after 2days and numerous call a tech person came 2days ago and put the modem in my home but after 48 hours of the modem connection I can't even see the 'online led' in the modem.

The customer care/the tech person/the marketing agent all are telling that its due to some technical problem and will be solved soon. But when?

These guys are cheaters and they're all paid to cheat the innocent people in Orissa. There should be a public awareness to avoid being a part of this cheating business and worst service provider and I would like to appeal to the public to boycott ortel service wherever it provides its worst service and go for any available alternatives.
