I booked a room in hotel orient flagship 73965 on 11th march through oyo app. I paid booking amount through app but when I reached hotel, they told me that booking is invalid and if I want to checkin I will have to pay extra tariff charges which is not mentioned anywhere in the oyo. As I had no other option, I had to pay extra charges i.e. 633₹ apart from 367₹ which I paid while booking, so total bill was summed up to 1000. They also refused to give me bill. Even though I am sharing screenshot of payment done by me. This is totally not expected from oyo. I just want refund for extra money that I paid which is 633₹ as soon as possible. I have contacted oyo service multiple times but it is not worth contacting. Executives are only putting calls on hold for long hours and not responding. Resolve my issue as soon as possible.

    I have bought oyo wizard gold membership. For payment i opted for gpay. My payment was successfull. But in oyo app its still showing pending. I don't know what's the issue. But money has been deducted from my account. I have payment receipt also of transaction done through gpay.

    I am getting no replies on email
    and the customer executive keeps cancelling the call after listening to the problem

      I have stayed at super oyo townhouse 135 Gandhi hall indore from 20th to 25th of feb 2023 under bookingID:[protected].

      I have booked it on app and on multiple calls with hotel and oyo customer care i am not provided with the invoice. The customer care kept me waited for hours on phone with no resolution.

      Its disgusting to keep on trying as i have to submit it to my office for reimbursement.

        I booked a hotel on (14 feb 2023) {BOOKING ID : EQ534362} the hotel denied checkin after that i asked the oyo executive to initiate a refund they told me to wait for 7-14 days after 14 days i called oyo they told me to wait again for 24-48 hours after that i called them after 48 hours and they adain told me to wait for 48 hours and this continued for a week till 10th march 2023 the day i am reporting this complaint against oyo. I request OYO ROOMS to please give me my money back

            Hi Team,

            My name is Deepak Vardaraj and I am a very old customer of OYO.

            Recently I booked 4 rooms for 8 guests as it was for the guests attending my wedding ceremony, My Booking ID is Q5YU0199. The booking was prepaid and I paid with my debit card.

            I called the hotel and the receptionist who received the call confirmed the booking. Later when the guests reached the hotel, they were denied to check in and the hotel staff informed them that they will not accept online bookings from OYO and demanded the guests pay cash for the rooms.

            We shared the payment confirmation of the booking but still, the staff were extremely rude and they threatened the guests to get off the property. Since it was late in the night, the guests did not have a choice but to pay for the rooms as they needed to use the rooms.

            They paid Rs. 5600/- and entered the rooms to find the beds filled with bed bugs and the rooms were stinking very badly. Immediately, the guests complained to the staff and asked for a refund but the staff denied the refund. The guests left the property immediately.

            The staff were extremely rude to our guests and this directly impacted me as the booking was made from my end to facilitate the guests which leaves a bitter taste for them as they were invited to my wedding and had to go through this extremely disappointing experience.

            Your customer support is of no help. Requesting you to please look into it and help me with my refund for the booking. Please reach out to me directly for any queries.

              Hi I booked a hotel with OYO rooms for March 3rd and 4th for myself and my father. When I reached the hotel at 11pm at night the Hotel did not even have a board and it was not a hotel but a mansion built for bachelors that reeked of alcohol and smoke. And on top of that the person in the reception said "OYO has overbooked the hotel pls deal with OYO we have no part in it" And I had to put myself out there at 11pm at a place that clearly was not recommended safe for girls and keep calling OYO a thousand times so they can put me on IVR and then disconnect the call telling i have not selected the valid option. finally when I got hold of one customer care executive he was too busy putting me on hold for the next 10 mins while he investigates the issue and came back with the reply "Please wait for 24 to 48hrs as the hotel is not picking calls". Finally after putting up a fight with the executive for 30 mins he finally agreed to a refund and a gratification amount for the "INCONVENIENCE" caused and the they filled a ticket complain with the ID "[protected]" . Later after 48 hrs I got a email stating the refund has been initiated and no mention of the gratification amount and when I emailed them asking about it they simply stayed silent and no reply. To be honest this is not the first time that this happened to me. In my opinion OYO has the worst customer service and apps like makemytrip and airbnb, agoda are far far better that OYO.

                It's such a pain dealing with these people at oyo and their numbers are all international numbers and they've made me wait weeks so far for a refund on booking one room for one night when an oyo refused my id for checking at one oyo but anther different oyo down the road accepted it the next day. I believe the teller knew this would be a hassle and did this on purpose to rip me off and I've sent pictures of my ID and several emails and have been given the run-around. if you have any hesitation about this OYO chains customer service, rest assured they are unscrupulous and will rip you off. Don't book with them.

                  I had done a booking for room with amount of 1089 at silver key bhumi world. Once I had completed booking and payment.
                  The app started showing me another 409 pending amount which was not shown before booking

                      Its been more than a month yet my refund was not provided as the coustomer care promised to provide it by 7-14 working days asking them for the same in which there response was it will take few more days and than transfere my call to some other entity in which they put the call in a loop where no reponse is provided called complained it many times yet no seriousness is taken for the same

                        I booked the prepaid hotel booking through booking ID UYZ50874 on 22 December 2022 however, while at the time of check in hotel manager decline to give me access to the property citing that OYO does not give them their share of the revenue and embezzles all the booking amount with them only. It was very dark outside so spoke to OYO manager regarding this then they said they will refund my prepaid booking amount within 14 working days and I can take the room at my own (paying in cash for the room). It is already more than 2 months since OYO reject my prepaid booking and still waiting for the refund amount.
                        I also heard every other OYO customer citing this problem (not refunding the cancelled booking's amount).
                        In this way I don't think OYO will sustain for long.

                        Kindly refund my amount.

                        Now refund have been issued by OYO. Thanks to consumer complaints platform - within 7 days got the refund, otherwise OYO customer executives were strolling me for 2 straight months (kept me waiting for 1 hour on the calls various time).

                              This complaint is regarding harassment faced regarding Booking ID: LOVM6273. I booked my stay online for 1 day [[protected] to[protected]] in Oyo Ankan Regency. But after I reached the hotel the front desk receptionist told us that they have not received any booking from Oyo regarding Booking ID: LOVM6273. They informed me that they will not be able to provide us any room. So we called Oyo Tech support and after a conversation of approximately 1 hour the Tech support person told me that she will only be give me a refund for Booking ID: LOVM6273 and create a new booking at a nearby Oyo property and can do nothing else regarding the harassment we faced due to your technical issue. I had no option than to agree to what she said and paid an amount of Rs. 1063/- again for a new booking regarding Booking ID: UMH52363. I request you to escalate this matter to the person concerned and arrange for a refund for the new booking regarding Booking ID: UMH52363 which happened due to the technical error at your end.

                                I had booked OYO rooms Via OYO APP booking source on 16th February 2023 at OYO Royal palace78811 using online payment (RS-2415.00). I am travel whole night after reaching the hotel in the early morning hotel staff total us we are not accepting early check in if you booked though oyo please wait till 12pm so we all are waiting for the check in time after 12'o clock I am again asked to the hotel manager for checkin but when I was checking in Hotel manager asked me to pay extra amount of rs.6000. So I asked why this for then she replayed you have pay partial amount of 2415 so you need to pay 6000 extra total of 6000+2415= 8215 total 2 rooms cost in our hotel for 2night but I have booked 2night 2 rooms for 4 people's but I received 2 rooms 2nights for 2 people in the message and when I checked the app there is showing me 3 people's 2night 2rooms after that I called the customer care and said every thing about my booking details and she told me we will very sorry for the inconvenience caused with you but you will modified the booking and stay on line we will check the details about your booking after that I total my booking ur and she total me I am sorry I am unable to see any information about your booking due to server issue please contact us after 1hours then I said ma'am we are already travel over the night so we need some rest please tell us any other option because we are already waited for 6 hours for checkin so please try to understand please discuss with the hotel manager but she told me sorry sir I am unable to help please call us after 1hours after that we can help you then I told okk if your server issue is not ended after 1hours then what can i do then she total me sir will after that then I waiting for the time after 1hours I again called but same issue then I argue with the service team after that we are checkin in the hotel giving extra amount of 6000 to the manager though phonepe. After that we are fresh in the hotel and again I called oyo customer service regarding this issue and I discuss with the team he told me sir we will raised your refund of 6000 you will get your refund within 7 to 14days after that he send me one link and told me sir provide us valid payment recept then I total him sir I have only phonepe payment screenshot but one issue is that thare mentioned hotel name royal plaza but I asked the manager she told me this the same account of both
                                and we will give you the invoice after checkout so please don't Worried about it then I told the same to the oyo team and oyo service manager said it's ok sir don't worry you submit the phonepe payment screenshot now we will give it to our refund team then I have submit the proofs then after a day I called again and ask about my refund status as discuss the team he said to me your refund is under process please wait for 7 to 14 days after that I disconnected the call I again call on 18th feb to oyo customer care and said sir today is my checkout day so please inform me what can I do next if you need any other proof then told me I will collect from hotel bcoz after that i will return to odisha and i am not getting any information about it as I discuss hotel manager give me manul bill is it valid sir please tell me after that oyo customer service told me it is valid sir but in the invoice need to mention your name address checkin checkout date and total stamp and signature i told Already mentioned anything else you need from me then he said no sir please you checkout from hotel now then I checkout the hotel then I called again 19th feb to know about my refund status after discussion with the customer as
                                always he told me in the process please wait but after disconnect the call I received a message and mail form Oyo team that Dear Sushil Behera,

                                Your refund request of amount INR 6000.0 corresponding to the booking id X84W9124 has been rejected due to inadequate proof.
                                Then I called again to the oyo customer support regarding this issue and I informed all the details and your customer support said to me sir refund is rejected because you have provided wrong hotel name phonepe proof then I said I have already informe this before uploaded I also have the bill then I send the bill and he raised a mail again manual refund using hotel invoice and send the copy of mail to me and said sir your account details and invoice and your corners already raised don't worried about it if your are already provided the invoice then you will already get the refund to your account but due to screenshot payment issue your claim rejected but I have again raised the claim and you will definitely received the refund please wait 7 to 14days but aftet a day I called again for the same and all are saying same please wait but still 15days gone and i try to contact the oyo customer support but every one just take my call and put on hold i waiting in the hold 30 to 40 minutes but know one answering the call and call disconnected by oyo team I have also recorded every call as discuss with the oyo team still I don't have received any confirmation mail Or msg Or neither I received any call back from. Oyo team I have already called 70 to 80 times but no one response my call I confirmed them twice about the same thing.. Every day from checking date to till date But each time oyo team lied the customer every time face the same issue just disgusting services
                                Please try to help ASAP. Attaching bill for the extra payment made at the hotel.

                                  Despite shifting confirmation with Oyo Customer Service, check-in was denied for two hotels in a row
                                  After reaching out about the approx. 400rs travelling charges for the second Oyo room, they denied check-in stating Oyo had not credited the Wallet and after talking to customer care they mentioned we will investigate this.

                                      My brother booked oyo in Hisar for exam from oyo app.
                                      Details - Booking Id*: X9ZO2757
                                      Date : 02 Mar - 03 Mar
                                      Hotel : Blue Moon, Hisar Harayana

                                      He booked for 400rs and owner asked 800 after making him stand for an hour agreed for 600.
                                      Door latch broken - zero security
                                      Ac not working - could not sleep, lot more

                                      I could not sleep whole night worrying safety of my younger brother.
                                      Apart from full refund of 600, I want apology from that guy as my brother had to leave 6am itself because he could not sleep.
                                      Nevertheless I dont get any positive response in next 4 days unfortunately twitter facebook and consumer court would be last resort

                                        Name - Nishant Rohilla
                                        I had booked oyo (oyo hotel Riviera, Agra) on 11th feb 2023(from 11 feb-12 feb 2023) from agoda website. Made the payment online of rs. 2090. When I reached the hotel, the person on reception told me that due to some technical fault as some merger of agoda and oyo were going on ( he told me that) I will have to pay offline in cash( same amount as paid online) to them to book the hotel room and the amount I have paid online will get refunded in 3-4 days. He also told me that some of his previous customers had also faced the same issue and got their money refunded in 3-4 days. It's been a month now and my amount that I have paid online is not yet refunded. I have called the manager several times but he is just making excuses for that. I have called the oyo customer care more than 10 times now and none of them is able to help as they just cut the call after listening to complaint. I made the double payment of the same amount once online then offline(in cash at the hotel reception). I checked in there stayed there as I was in urgent need of the hotel as i have to give the exam the next day. Kindly look into this matter.
