I want report a very bad experience i had with this booking

Booking id : ocag0872
Oyo home 15110 elegant studio calangute, goa
(Friday 10th may to monday 13th may)

I arrived at the hotel late at 12:15 am after a 9 hour drive from pune. I was with my wife for our anniversary weekend. I checked in, when i got to the floor of my room, there was a party going on in adjacent two rooms with doors open, around 15 college students completely drunk and dancing. Literally spilling liquor in the corridor.

I complained to the reception, they told me they are the guest of the owner. I called customer care at 12:30 to report it. Customer care personnel “mr shubhankar” asked the reception to control the people. But the receptionist acknowledged he had already tried thrice, but to was of no use.
I asked customer care to kindly shift me another oyo hotel. They took the request and said the shifting department will call me.

But there was no return call for 15 mins. So i called customer care 4 times later again till 2:00 am, with some interval in between. I got the same response “ the shifting department will contact me “.
In the mean time a oyo personnel came to the property, and saw the problem. He said that shifting was not in his hand and that shifting department will co-ordinate. But till 2 am there was no response.

Finally i couldn’t stay outside as my wife was with me, nor could i go into the hotel. It was almost 2:30 am.

So i booked another oyo hotel

(Friday 10th may - saturday 11th may)

I thought i could settle the issue in morning.in morning i called twice to the customer care. They transferred my call to shifting department but no one answered. It was check out time.

I had to make another booking till monday as i had no other choice

Oyo 15889 villa sol areia.
(Saturday 11th may to monday 13th may)

I requested oyo to kindly cancel and refund my money for the booking id” ocag0872 “ cause i didn’t stay there.

There was a serious lapse from the customer care department, i was assured i will be shifted but no one co-ordinated or even called me.

I was with my wife and i couldn’t take any chance with those drunk college students next door.

You have all the details. I have provided you with all the booking ids kindly check when i booked them. You will understand what happened.

I am expecting a refund for the booking id - ocag0872.
As i have done the booking for same dates in other oyo hotels in the hope that i will get the refund if i book oyo again.

I always trusted the oyo brand. I was impressed everytime in my previous bookings. But this was a horrible expirence. Please i request you to kindly take this matter seriously.

Oyo should maintain its standard along with its exponential expansion.

This was the first time i was scared for my family

    Staffs behaved very arrogantly. Though we are oyo customers and even paid to the hotel 10 days before, they made them to wait for about 1 hour in the reception hall, ladies and children felt uneasy. Rooms are good but service is bad and also service boys didn't mind our words. Why they behave we don't know. We are not beggars and dependents of the hotel, they only need customers. There is no parking in the hotel. They provide very little food as complimentary breakfast. 3 doses or 3 pooris. We paid to the extra food. I haven't seen like this hotel. I request oyo, please don't suggest this hotel for your customers. It's our very bitter experience. We stayed in many places throughout india, but ever seen like this hotel. For driver also they even ask don't use restroom. Please as your customers we humbly request you to take neccessary steps to resolve this kind of issues in future and make the customers feel happy. With hope.

      I am having a very bad experience with oyo on one of the booking, i request you to look in to the matter asap or direct me to the right escalation. Please find the sequence of events below:

      1. Booking was made on oyo website on may 14th at 2:08 am - in the website i selected 17th checkin and 18th checkout, however it was selected the default date 14th and 15th. The moment i saw the pdf confirmation copy, i realized it is booked for wrong date and tried cancelling in the website, but it was showing a error message and immediately called oyo customer care.

      2. Called customer care on may 14th at 2:12 am - spoke to the customer care agent, who informed me that the backend team is not available at the moment and i will have to call the customer care in the morning between 9 am to 9 pm for cancellation and refund. Also, rep asked me if i want him to book the hotel for 17th and 18th, i clearly told him, until i get a confirmation on refund on the first booking i would not want to proceed with the second booking. He raised a complaint and hung up

      3. Got a call back from [protected] at 2.25 am from satyapal singh - guest experience manager - who confirmed me over phone that if i place the booking again through oyo for the correct date and if i make the payment online for the second booking, oyo will refund the entire amount of 1799, basis satyapal confirmation, i went ahead and cancelled booking pglc2614. Also, satyapal had asked me to call back to customer care post the second booking for the refund.

      4. Called customer care on may 14th at 2:36 am and rep confirmed me that he has raised a ticket and i will have to call back next day between 9 am to 9 pm.

      5. Got a call back from haryana number at 2:42 am and he confirmed that it need to go for approval process with the ground team and i will have to call back in the morning

      6. Got a call back at 12:36 am from ravishankar or suvankar not sure, he confirmed me that only if both the booking pertains to same date they will refund if not they will not, he did not answer for rest of the questions on satyapal confirmation and the behaviour of the guest relationship manager was very rude.

      7. Again called customer care to ask for the escalation matrix at 1:46 pm, however after listening to the problem sagnik mazumdar sent me an email stating refund have been initiated and will reflect within 7 to 14 days, however in the subject line i could see a different booking id xauv0381
      A) i did not raise any query with the booking quoted
      B) xauv0381 was active until 1 am today not sure why this was incorrectly looked into

      8. Mr ali - please refer to the email chain - even he confirmed me that the amount will be credited but for a different booking id, which is not a successful payment at all.

      Overall you cannot penalize the customer who reached to oyo within 10 mins of booking and i was misguided by satyapal. Considering all please refund the amount of 1799 in the original mode or else i will take a legal action against this for the misguide. Thanks for the understanding.

        I want full refund for the oyo hotel 9030 delhi airport plaza hotel booking for 8/5/2019. The hotel misbehaved and did not provide basic amenities like water. My goibibo booking id is htls9kwaxn. Before reaching the hotel, we had called them earlier to check if everything was already. Specifically they had confirmed that the toilets were working fine. We checked in at the hotel for a 16 hour layover at delhi. Right from the beginning there was no water in the taps. The hotel manager and stuff constantly lied to us. They said water was ther and they would start the pumps. We kept on calling them and everytime they said that it was an issue with our room only. So we could not bathe could not even go to the toilet to take a piss because there was no water. Ultimately we checked out earlier than planned because we had to go to the airport to wash up and go to the toilet. While checking one of the stuff told us actually the water tankers arrive there only at night around 11 pm. But the hotel had not taken any care to arrange for the water supplies for that day. Please refund us the full amount since we had to suffer through physical and mental harrassment.

          Dear team,

          There are so many issues in the hotel and I called the reception but they picked call once when it rings 4 times..

          And there were no toiletries provided..

          Ac was noticing tooo much, when I called reception they picked after 4th call and said that was compressor voice..

          We all know how the compressor voice is..

          But they send after 45 minutes..

          And I was in hotel they checked out my stay..

          And when i given rating to the services, hotel reception boy called me and started using very vulgar language,

          He said have you owned the hotel, how dare you given low rating
          Oyo doesn't provide services..
          MUJHE DIKH MT JAIO YAHA
          TERA NUMBER FORWARD KRATA HU THEN I RECEIVED CONTINUES CALL FROM UNKNOWN NUMBERS..

          He misbehaved very much with me.. Said JO KRNA HAI JAR LE TUJHE ME BTATA HU..

            I had a booking for OYO Capital O Cloud Mist Hotel, Mahableshwar for May 17, 2019 with 20 days prior booking with full payment paid. Yesterday, May 13th, I called up the hotel for 2nd confirmation and he announced to have no tie-up with OYO.
            Right in next moment, I called up OYO customer service and the customer care employees were still claiming to have confirm booking. On explaining for like 30 mins, and 2 call transfers, they agreed to have broken tie-up.
            I was told to select another hotel with hell degraded services because of no availability.
            With n number of calls from 8 PM to 2:30 PM, I didn't get any solution.
            Finally I made a decision to change the destination and requested to book Discover Resorts, Karjat. OYO booked the same hotel for me saying it as an so called "UPGRADE", the mail is asking me to pay more of 10k. Since today morning 6:50 AM, I have being calling customer care and I am made to wait to disconnect after 10-15 mins of hold.
            I am told that the Approval from Operations department is pending. It can't take 24 hours to take an Approval inside the same company even if placed Overseas.
            I am genuinely disappointed. My friend has flight booking from Bangalore and I have to book Tatkal tickets tomorrow morning as the destination is changed.

              I had a booking from 5th may - 6th may but when i reached the hotel they denied to provide me a room coz they didn't had electric and water supply. Immediately i rang up the customer service helpline. The customer service guy booked an another room for me and asked me to visit that hotel. But the same thing happened there too. Even they denied to provide us a room bcoz they didn't had water supply and electric supply. I travelled all the way long and didn't get any room. At last i had to book another local hotel to get a shelter.

                Hi

                I am finny mathew a australian and i have booked your room at oyo 5692 stay inn residency cochin from 12th april to 13th april with the booking id nh[protected] thro make my trip. I was travelling from melbourne and was reaching cochin airport midnight of 12th april so i have informed your customer service i will be checking in late at the hotel after midnight. They have stated as ok and noted.

                But to my shocking when i arrived at the hotel on 12th midnight at 2.00 am the reception guy states all rooms are booked and no rooms available. Shown him my booking details and found my name in their, but he stated all rooms has been given out, what a pathetic situation. Got very frustrated and upset, as advised by him tried ringing oyo customer service 3 times from my phone and they states will help and holds and disconnects, tried ringing the manager with no effect. At the end had to call make my trip and was transferred to a different hotel.

                I need a clear clarification on this matter, why the rooms were given out even when i had bookings done and payments paid. I clearly suspect something illegal activity goes behind this booking rooms in different names and selling out to someone else. I had lost my lot time due to your worst service.

                Expecting your response on this matter, if not i will be forced to take this matter legally reporting to the media and police.

                What a pathetic ### company, they kept on transferring my call and keeping on hold. What a service. Awaiting for a response.

                awaiting your response on why this has happened, and why my room were given to someone when it was booked under my name and the system said so. I need a clear clarification on the matter.
                Coz legally i was obliged if anything had gone wrong, booking were under my name, and the hotel has given that room to someone else, so the person staying was without identification, and that could be a terrorist.
                I will wait for your response and how you have handles and what is the resolution provided.
                Or else happy to be challenged in the court and media.

                  Hi all,

                  I have booked a oyo hotel for gangtok and paid in advance however the property owner denied for entry.

                  I have travelled from a state to another state with in hope oyo. The nightmare which can't explain.

                  Finally, we have searched another hotel to stay.

                  I have intimated the same to oyo customer care and get assured for the refund amount with in 7-14days and its more than 14days but yet receive my refund.

                  They don't have any regert about customers as the same day i have seen two more families who have faced same kind of situation.

                  Below is the mail confirmation, but where as still am waiting for my refund amount.

                  resolution provided - as per our telephonic conversation we initiate your refund amount rs 4715 you will get it in 7 to 14 working days.

                  Have to lodge a consumer case against oyo.

                  Kindly who all read this don't travel with oyo booking or else you all will end up with a nightmare situation.

                  We know how was the day due to your negligence, I hsve to roam here and there to book a hotel in a unknown place.

                  How about you 7-14days refund policy. Which is promised by two of your representative. Its almost 20days.

                  I paid in advance which is my fault.

                  Update you soon or look into this is not the answer I want to hear.

                  Need my money back. If I receive it with in this weekend it is well and good for both o[censored]s.

                    This narrative isn't a one time incident but has happened with me twice. They have these couple friendly hotels that deny check-in on your face when you get there. These people assure a hassle free stay but that is the last thing they are able to provide.
                    Cherry on the cake is when even their customer support can not help you further, they don't have phone numbers of registered hotels, they do not even have control over their flagship hotels, and they have this sorry to say every time "we will refund you" is all that they do, not understanding that the hotel was booked not to get back the money but to have a quality day.
                    More annoying is when you request a call back from their senior and they never revert, and keep marking your complain as resolved without even you giving them any consent. Being in hospitality industry i find oyo as the most non-customer focused brand!

                      There no policies which say that no visitor will be allowed inside a couple room within visiting hours, further our visitor was badly treated and the reception almost threw him out of the hotel. Later on when i tried to reach the oyo support they manipulated and said that these policies are implied and not specifically mentioned.
                      I seek redressal.

                      I tried requesting the reception authorities they specifically said that I would have allowed the visitor but she was bias because they both got into a dispute as they wouldn't let him in the hotel. And they kept on mistreating him. This is not the ethics of hospitality business. I seek support.

                        Chasing this case for two days with repeated failures.

                        Booking id, cxgb2568. Booked room for two days wef 11 may 2019 at oyo 24260 nanjunada palace. Property manager didn't allow me to check in due to non payment of their dues from six months.

                        Called the oyo customer care repeatedly 5-6 times. The guy either forwards the call to some other department or disconnect the call. The other department has not gave a chance to discuss the problem and yet to receive my money back.

                        Could somehow raised complaint with partial success with assurance that they will call me back. However didn't receive the call till now.

                          I stayed at hotel hibiscus inn from 8/05/2019 to 10/05/2019. I booked hotel from 8/05/2019 to 12/05/2019. Because of some issue i had to checkout early. Now oyo they have not taken money for 8 may to 12 may thpugh i have done early checkout. And they are not ready to refund. They are mentioning that i have not changed the checkout date in oyo app. So while checking out the hotel staff did not also inform me the same. As a customer how would i know i have to do that. I need my fund back as i checked out early.

                            Hi booked hotel oak ridge in gangtok. At time of check in hotelier denied check in showed rooms which were filty. The floor was broken leaking water in bathrooms. The distance between next building was so near that anyone can hop in from windows. Hotel owner was so rude that he denied serving breakfast and dinner even after paying entire amount.
                            Booking confirmed - oyo 17068 hotel oak ridge retreat, booking no. Gybl6975.
                            Total amount paid 9063 and they don't have even courtsey to call back their customers for what problems they faced

                              11 may i booked a room via online... I went to the place they denied the room saying they dont acept online payment booking... They deined the room. Behaviour was very bad... They told me they have prblems with oyo... They scamed my money... I didnt got any refund.. Very harrasing situation.. I didnt get to stay there after makin the payement...                                 This the pathetic experience i have faced with oyo. I have booked the hotel and reached the exact hotel address which is described under direction in app.
                                After reaching the hotel refused to take entry.

                                I have called to oyo helpline number. They picked my call and put me hold twicely more then 20 minutes and finally i didn't get any solution.

                                Dont trust on oyo service. One of the worst service.
                                There no one there to attend your problem.

                                Shame on you oyo.

                                  I booked oyo hotel which welcomes unmarried couple but at the time of check-in we were denied due to our faiths. I called oyo care and they booked the costliest room for me from their side. I was in trouble so i agreed to pay the added price and i was assured of comfort and security by oyo customer care. But even the new oyo hotel scared us and said that we will allow check in but if any thing untowards happens you both shall be ready to answer police and your parents. Being in deep trouble we decided to check out and we lost our money without staying in the room. This is what oyo stands for? If oyo has any issue regarding inter-religious couples it should clearly mention it. Such kind of fraud is not expected from such a reputed organization.

                                  It is really shameful the way guests are treated in partial way based on their religion . I am sharing the details . Please do the needful or if you can't then just remove the hotel from couple friendly listing. Horrible !

                                      This is to inform and complain about that i as a owner of a hotel which was current in a tie-up with the company oyo rooms a few months back as the company inappropriately left the agreement that was about a tie up of my hotel with the company oyo for 2 years and then unconditionally the company broke off the agreement in between with a appropriate reason.in the reference to the tie up with the company i gave the company 44rooms of my hotel and the condition the made of it after 11months of lease was poor. Not that far also the company didn’t even paid their gst bill after breaking off and thats was made paid by me and even the company didn’t pay me the complete rent to me. It was a terrible experience working with the oyo company since their is no support in ownership then the experience of customers would eventually be bad.

                                        Oyo promises 24 hours ac but the hotel does not turn on ac for 6 hours per day.

                                        Oyo 16101 samrat holiday inn is at madarmani, west bengal. We had the hotel booked for 2 days and 3 rooms. We were charged ₹10, 818/- for this booking. However, we faced the below mentioned issues :

                                        1) there were insects, lizards & cockroaches all over the place.

                                        2) no proper door lock was there for the rooms. The doors were making weird sounds the entire night because of so much wind near the sea beach.

                                        3) no gyser was there at the hotel.

                                        4) ac is not switched on at that property for 6 hours/day.

                                        5) washroom's window was broken. Only half of the window was there.

                                        6) cigarette butt holes were there in the bedsheet making it extremely unhygienic. Quality of bedsheet was extremely bad and itchy.

                                        7) the ceiling was made of asbestos and there were holes in the ceiling through which insects were coming in as well.

                                        8) the hotel was not at all kid friendly.

                                        After informing everything to oyo for at least 10-12 times to different executives, they agreed to pay only 20% of the money back as refund, that equals to ₹2163/- which i received two days back. However, we could only stay there for 1 day as there was no proper infrastructure to provide us the promised services. Request you to kindly look into this issue urgently and provide us a suitable refund at the soonest as ₹2163/- is not just enough in my opinion.

                                        Strict action needs to be taken against oyo for fooling and cheating people like this. Also, their customer care is terrible and extremely unprofessional and unhelpful.
